Ruby nodded and put the letter in her pocket "do you know what Mei Lin wishes to speak to me about i don't really talk to her anymore" Ruby replied

"I'm not sure but if I have to take a guess I'd say it would be about Sakura." he said in a contemplative voice. Truth be known Reid knew exactly what Mei Lin wanted to talk about. He just wasn't going to let Ruby in on it.

Lyra stood up and examined her "art work" and fell into hysterical fits of laughter, the castle she had been making looked nothing like a castle and she clutched her arms around her stomach from laughing. It was a little embarrassing, laughing on your own but she just couldn't help it. She looked at her 'castle' again and thought it was better to just destroy it and begin over. She jumped in the air and landed with her on the tower, happily stamping the castle in to pieces, dropped down on the ground and began over. 'you such a little kid, Lyra' she giggled to herself.

As she was exploring the grounds, Hayley happened upon the large sandbox. What in Merlin's name? She thought to herself. She hadn't played in a sandbox since she was about 6....thinking back, she remembered how much fun they could be. A sandcastle would be so much fun right now! Hayley scurried over to an open corner of the sandbox and sat down, wondering how she should begin this sandcastle building...with dry sand...Well shucks! You need wet sand for a sandcastle! Feeling defeated, Hayley just stared at the sand, wondering if it would just turn wet on its own. It was a sandbox at Hogwarts...it had to have some kind of charm on it, right? Or maybe it was just a boring ole muggle sandbox...Phooey.

Willie skipped (Yes, skipped. A boy can skip if he wants to.) towards the grounds happily, the air brushing his curls as he marched down to explore the new parts. It seemed, from what he's heard, that the Groundskeeper, Mr. Hero #1, always made new things every new term. And this term, Willie was determined to find the newest thing!

And he did.

His eyes fell on a sandbox. It was currently occupied, but why did he care? He should only skip towards it and play till the day turns into night! He didn't need to study. He was just a second year! So with a big grin, he ran towards the sandbox and immediately slid into it.

Holding the sand in his hands, he squished them and then looked up at the girl, his eyes twinkling. It was the same girl that was at the feast, wasn't it? She gave him the food under the table.

"Hi."

"Willie!" Hayley exclaimed as he slid and squished the sand between his hands. "How're you feeling? I saw you puke...." In fact, she was sure most of the school had seen him puke. It was gross...but the nurse had taken care of him, so it was probably all better. "Why was that Professor so mean to you? What did you do wrong?" Hayley was still sooo confused about the Start of Term Feast and all it's happening, and by golly, she wanted some answers.. And she wanted to build a sandcastle while she was getting them! "Hey...wanna help me build a sandcastle? The sand is all dry and not moldable..any idea how to make it wetter?" Maybe, as a 2nd year, he'd know a spell or something.

Shana walked down into the sandbox and sat down.She started to try and make a sand castle but it just wasn't working so she made a sand moutain instead.She smiled at her mountain and carried on.She looked around for someone she knew.She saw a few people and looked around some more.She saw Vannie and that scary boy,She kept away and shuddered and carried on making her sand mountain.

He beamed once she called out his name. So she still knew his name?! That itself was great. Willie forgot hers, but he'll eventually get it stuck in his head once she'd repeat it over a thousand times like Raiden had done before he stopped calling him Brownie.

Wille furrowed his brows at the mention of his puke. He didn't like puking, but he was glad he puked because if he didn't, he was sure he would've exploded. "Yeah, the prefether jutht got uth ter eat and me thtomach wathn't able to hold them foodth in, ya? Tho... I puked." He shrugged, grabbing onto the sand and squishing it again in his hands.

The girl was right. The sand was dry. He tilted his head in thought and then a grin slowly appeared on his lips as thought slowly came to his mind. "Ye know... ye can thpit on it! Me brother Garret told me ter thpit on anythin' I wanna make wet."

Hayley grinned as Willie spoke. His lisp was funny, but not in a bad way. "Well, I'm glad you feel better now!" She was just hoping he hadn't eaten too much today...she couldn't stand puke...it made her puke...it was an ongoing cycle of icky-ness....

"Uhm, you want us to spit on it?" she asked, slightly baffled..."you...wouldn't happen to know a spell to make it wet? Cuz...it would take a LOT of spit to get enough wet sand to build even an itty-bitty sandcastle..." she trailed off. Darnit! She had the idea to build a sandcastle and by George, she was gonna do it one way or another! "Orrr...if we had a bucket, we could just go get water from the lake!" She pointed about 30ft away to where the shore of the lake was. Buuuut...she didn't have a bucket.

Wilie nodded his head in acknowledgment. "Yah, I went ye ter thpit on it." He told her, spitting on his sand to show her. The sand wasn't effected much, and it caused him to frown. "Maybe ye need more thpit," he murmured under his breath. Collecting all the spit in his mouth, he took a big breath and then spat with all his might onto the sand.

It did help a little, because now his sand was a bit wet. "Ye thee! We dun need no thpellth, mate! We jutht need our thpit and we'll be dandy well, dontcha know!" His eyes then looked over at the girl and saw yet another girl. What was with this school and girls? "Oiii! You! Ye want ter thpit on the thand with uth?"

Hayley shrugged her shoulders, "Okay, if you insist," she gathered up some saliva in her mouth and spit on the sand in front of her..."I need more spit," she said matter-of-factly...she spit a few more times, and got the sand a bit more wet...this was slow, tedious work...but if it helped with the building of the sandcastle, she was all for it. She stopped for a second to take in her progress...OH NOES! "Willie! The sand is drying!" she said pointing to the first place she had spit, "What are we supposed to do now?" Oh in the name of all that was good!

She looked up momentarily as Willie called over to another girl, and she smiled. Maybe more spit would help...maybe it wouldn't dry as fast if more people were spitting! YAY....

"Well I do come up with brilliant ideas." Vanessa smirked, but giggled anyway. She just hoped that she'd be able to conjure up two buckets, and she hoped that they wouldn't have holes in either. That would be odd.
"Of course....I feel so immature." Vanessa giggled, grinning. This was going to be so fun. She'd have to remember to bring Miles down here before they graduated, because then they wouldn't be able to come down here.

"Yeah...but it'll feel wierd." Vanessa shuddered, but then smiled. She better get conjuring now. So that they could start to build their sandcastle.
Pulling out her wand, she concentrated for a little and conjured two yellow buckets and spades. Yey for yellow. "Heeree we goo!"

Brant sat down on the side of the Sand box and took off his shoes and played with the sand with his toes. Starting to build a small hill he decided to get hands dirty too, leaning over he started to pile up all the sand around him.

Sarah looked at Brant and smiled as she saw him on his own in the Sand box, she was glad that she had found him at last and even happier that he was on his own. She quickly when up behind him and put her hands over his eyes and smiled. "Guess who." She giggled as she waited for him to guess and hoped that he would get it right otherwise she would be sad.

Just about to pile up more sand some one covered his eyes. He instantly knew who it was and he gave a big smile and put his hands over Sarah's hands and said "I know who you are." Pulling down on of her hands and kissed the inside of her palm.I've been looking around for you, since I got here." Giving her a hug. "Do you want to help me build something random."

Sarah smiled as she sat down next to him. "You have?" She said. "I'm sorry." She put on her best puppy dog face. "Your not mad with me are you?" She asked. "I was just busy, and I did try and find you but I couldn't see you anywhere, so I decided to have something to eat instead. She quickly hugged him when he hugged her. "Yeah, I would love to build something with you."

Kevin grinned and said "That has been years of practice where i come from i can get easy access to the seaside"

Brant looked into Sarah's eyes "I don't think that I can ever be mad at you", as he gave her a little wink. "Well I guess we missed each other when we were both looking.". Brant wanted to ask Sarah to be his girlfriend plus it was the perfect time for no one else was near them, so Brant took a deep breath and said "Well did you want to Build a Relationship with me" while he put some sand on her hands..

"that's pretty awesome. now I'm really jealous!" lilly exclaimed with glee

Kevin grinned and said "Well maybe you can come and visit me during the summer"

"that would be awesome. i would really enjoy that." lilly said as she turned her head so he wouldn't see her blushing. no guy had ever asked her over before. especially not one she had a crush on.

Kevin grinned and said "Cool glad ur going to come Lilly i know your going to love my house and stuff"

Jude sat in one far corner of the sandbox, picking and balling up the sand, building it into the shape of some castle or house or something, and destroying it again. He didn't know how long he'd been there or how long he'd be there, but he was peaceful and having fun, tho albeit slightly lonely. Oh well, he could get up and try to go find Raiden, James, Hayley, or Pie if he'd wanted to. But for now, he was content with his solitude and dirty robes.

At the moment, he was building up a tower, something like a lighthouse, complete with a little door at the bottom and a cliff on one side of it. He was working on adding some brick wall details before he'd finish it and the roof.

"im glad you invited me. I'm sure it will be amazing." lilly said she added in her head 'just like you'.

Sarah looked at Brant, both eyes sparking she had wanted to be his girlfriend for ages but she hadn't asked him out incase he had said no or incase her sisters had object to it. She looked at him. "Maybe we did miss each over when we were looking." She giggled. "I'm glad you aren't mad at me." She said as she tried to think about if her mother would want her to have a boyfriend at such a young age, when she thought of her mother it made tears come to her eyes. "Of course, I'll be your girlfriend." She smiled as she hugged him.
