Kevin nodded and said "Well i guess your right Lilly i am still really getting over my mum's death"

"it can be hard. also it will probably take a while. i still cry whenever i think about it." lilly said "but when you come to terms with it in your own heart it can be ok."

Kevin nodded and said "Yeah i guess your right Lilly and anyway our castle is looking good so far"

"most definitaly!" she said with a gigantic grin spreading across her face.

Kevin smiled and said "Yeah it does let's work on making even more greater"

"ok, what should we do now? i was thinking maybe a moat and a bridge. although im not quite sure how, but it might be fun!" lilly said enthusiastically

Kevin smiled and said "Well let's build a bridge first the moat can wait"

"ok sounds like a plan." she agreed. "do you want to go find some twigs to do it or should we just do it with sand?"

Kevin smiled and said "Let's do with sand we can use twigs another time"

"ok works for me!" Lilly said cheerfully. she tried to be optomistic as much as possible. and she kind of liked him so she was planning on doing whatever he wanted. in hopes he would like her back.

Kevin smiled and said "Looking good Lilly, i will make a start on the moat"

"mk" she said. she was happy. he complemented her...that made her even more happy. the happiness made her smile a great big smile.

Kevin built a good moat and even managed to find something to put in the moat he looked at Lilly awaiting her approval

The boy simply rolled his eyes when Cassadee explained to him that she just couldn’t say his name right. For Merlin’s sake, it was not even that hard of a name to pronounce anyway! His name was a simple four-letter word that was just one syllable long. Honestly, why did his name have to be so difficult for her? It wasn’t as if his name was Francesco Tschurtschenthaler (the so-called famous Italian maker of Francesco Tschurtschenthaler’s High ’n Mighty Hair Gel for the Exquisite Wizard) or something that was even longer like supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. Now those were difficult words to pronounce. But, of course, Seth was such a hard word compared to that. Pity.

Figuring that there was no way he was going to get the girl to say his name right, the blonde went back to work on that sand hippogriff he was supposed to be making. Although the lad had taken Care of Magical Creature classes in the past, his hippogriff wasn’t exactly looking how any normal hippogriff would. Perhaps the problem was that it was only half finished? On the other hand, was the fact that a hippogriff would never be seen swimming in a moat screwing everything up? It was probably a good mix of both, though Seth would definitely say that it was the later of the two. How typical, right?

“A brother? No!” Seth asked, looking back at Cassadee with an eyebrow raised. That just had to be one of the stupidest questions anyone had ever asked him in his entire life! Well … other than that moment when Denton had asked him if he was alright after the idiot had pelted acorn after acorn at his face a few years back. Oh, deciding which one of those was the stupidest of them all was going to be such a difficult decision to make. “I’m the only child in my family.”

Your brother is a very smart man then. I don’t know why anyone would want to climb trees with you of all people…

Livvy smirked at Kel at what he said. "I thought so too. Now stop moving, Kelboy! It's not fun!" she said, making him lie back down and she poured more sand onto the boy. Livvy hummed gently and she hardly noticed the people around her. They were building sand castles. She was burying Kel. They had to be separated.

"What's with the look, Micheals?" she asked, noticing the look he was giving her.

Cassadee watched Seff as he worked on his hippogriff, which, to be really honest, looked more like a lump with a few legs on it, frowning when he said he was an only child. "Isn't that boring?" She asked, trying to get the edges of the cone-shaped roof of the tower perfected. "I mean, I live with only my mum, who usually works all day, but not having a sibling must be boring." She mused, frowning as a chunk of sand fell off from the edge of the roof. Pooh. A little water would have helped, but there was none at the moment, so she sculpted some sand from the top onto it, hiding the fact that it had chipped.

"My mum's boring, though. She brings back a new boyfriend every week. First week it's this rich guy from Turkey, then a mister who owned a big shiny red convertible. They keep changing." Cassadee started rambling again, patting down the roof and starting a new tower next to it, this one a bit crooked and leaning away from the castle. "And if mum lets me go to work with her, there's always a guy with an accent who never lets me see his camera, 'cause it's supposed to be lots of money. It's really big, too."

Okay, she should have stopped rambling a while ago, but how could she help it? She was a girl, after all.

Kelboy? ...Hoookaiii. Kel remained quite for a bit while he watched Livvy put sand on him. Feeling that this was surely going to take a very long time, he lifted a free arm and started dumping sand on his stomach himself.

"The look?" he asked, looking up at Livvy innocently. "Oh, nothing. I was just thinking...oh, never mind." He had a feeling that asking if people just knew she was crazy wasn't a very nice thing to do. Although...he'd have to meet some of her other friends, and see if they were as crazy as she was.

"wow that looks great!" Lilly exclaimed. she was shocked for a mote it was pretty darn good. "im so jelous of your skills." she joked with a big smile

"Oh well he's young right? Most baby creatures or animals do that in the beginning stages." Reid added with a slight shrug, stopping slightly to let her catch up with him. "I've been told I have a gift with animals and creatures, really I think it's all about promoting a positive energy. It could also be that I nearly always have some kind of treat for animals on my person. If you were asking if I'm fond of creatures that would have to be a definite yes. My house is full of them, if you were asking about the clothes then I'd have to say not really. I mean I like them but they aren't the most important thing in the world." Listening to Via's questions he smiled down at her when she finally got that he attempted to escort her to the Professors Hut. "Well I think getting to meet this Professor Morgan would be a good thing and if I get to spend some time with a friend at the same time then why not?" Now that he knew the direction he was supposed to be heading in Reid started walking again, making sure his strides would be short enough for Via to match. "Tenebrae is Latin and means darkness or shadows it seemed like a name she liked so I went with it. As to where I got it I learnt Latin in my first year of school, they thought that knowing the meaning of the words we were speaking would be important so they had a whole class on it once a week. Truthfully I slept through most of them but for some reason I was awake for that one." He shook his head slightly to try and get his bangs out of his eyes, slightly frustrated when a lock of hair refused to budge.

Ruby was walking down past the lake when she noticed Reid in the sandbox, they hadn't quite finished their talk on the train so she decided to wander over there and say hello.

As Ruby got nearer she saw that he was talking to Via "hello Reid, sorry to bother you i just havn't had the chance to talk to you since the train," she said rather rushed, she had her cloak on incase anyone mentioned her new looks so she could flick the hood up and hide once more.

Reid stopped next to Via and grabbed her arm lightly to stop her too before he turned around and looked at Ruby. "Hi." he said somewhat cheerfully while petting the imp he was holding. Cid really was adorable and he wondered if Professor Morgan would allow him to look after one. He'd have to ask her later. "I know things have been kind of hectic recently. But tell me how have you been?"

Ruby noticed the Imp he was holding and smirked at Reid "how have i been???? wel i am worrying about Sakura and my father has been acting strange....well he was before i left for Hogwarts so i don't really know anymore" she shrugged

"I'm sure Sakura will be fine she always is." Reid said encouragingly. At that moment he looked up into the sky and spotted a familiar owl, the owl that belonged to Sakura. "In fact I think your about to find out about your cousin right now." The owl flew down to them and landed on Reid's shoulder, there were two letters attached. One for him and one for Ruby. Pocketing his one he decided to read over it later as it was most likely something Ruby shouldn't see. Giving Ruby her letter he let the owl nudge him with her beak, he knew she wanted a treat but at the moment he couldn't exactly get her one. It was a wonder he had been able to get the letters.

Ruby's letter was as follows:

Ruby saw Sakura's owl fly towards them and land on Reid's shoulder, it was carrying two letters and one was for her, she ripped it open and read what her cousin had written, she smiled and quickly sat down and pulled a peice of parchment out of her bag and her quil.

she folded the letter and handed it back to Reid "here is my reply for Sakura," she smirked "that was nice to hear from her actually she hoped we had become friends i think by the way the letter was written"

Looking at Ruby he shook his head slightly when she went to give him the parchment. "Would you mind doing that yourself? I kinda have my hands full at the moment." he stated while bending down so that she could do as he asked. "I'm sure she has, she always seems to hope for the best and for her schemes to go well. You should also hear from Mei Lin in a few weeks, she wishes to talk to you about some issues."
