Letting the feeling of victory ease its way throughout his body, Seth could not help but grin at Cassadee as she stuck out her tongue at him. He finally got what he wanted and he didn’t have to get his hands too dirty all in one shot. How much sand could get underneath his nails by just making a ‘swimming’ hippogriff in the moat? We’ll be learning just how much sand could actually get under those nails today in Building Sandcastles 101. Hopefully, for his sake, not too much. In the meantime, the seventh year looked absolutely pleased that he wasn’t the one making those big towers.

Moving over a few feet so that he was closer to the moat that Cassadee had dug up just for him, the Hufflepuff got to work on that hippogriff. Surprisingly he did that without a single complaint and he was — brace yourselves! — lying on his stomach right in the sand. Shocked? I sure am. … When the first year girl asked him what was so funny, Seth simply looked up at her with his blue eyes and shrugged his shoulders. Merlin did that girl remind him of his cousin (that would be Amanda Madigan, for those of you who did not know), and that was not a good thing at all. Having one Amanda Madigan was enough, he didn’t need any clones out there to make his life more miserable.

Fine, Seff.

With a quarter of the hippogriff slowly (mainly on purpose) being constructed, Seth couldn’t help but glare at Cassadee and roll his eyes. They had already gone through this whole ‘Seff’ thing very briefly. Was that not clear enough for the little eleven year old in front of him who was just having the time of her life building those giant castle towers? Obviously not. “Seriously, twerp,” he responded to her comment with a bit of a grouchy tone in it. “If you can’t say my name right, then I’m leaving you to your sandcastle building to yourself, like it was supposed to be in the beginning.”

"Hello Via!,"Cedric said as he gave a wave to Via."By the way,Via this is Sydney,Sydney this Via."Cedric introduced Via to Sydney then Sydney to Via.

"Yeah,I am.And you is Slytherin?"Cedric asked,He noticed the girl's badge that indicate her house and year."Umm,where do you hang out most anyway?"Cedric asked again.

"Well, I'm sorry that I can't say your name right, Seff. Besides, Seff sounds cooler than that." Cassadee replied, frowning. "If you want, you can call me Cass. But only my mum calls me that, and that's when she's peeved at me." She added, starting to use her fingernails to add shingle-like details to the roof of the towers. "Or my brother, but he's not usually at home." She was intent on the tower now, scratching in little half-circle details onto the roof.

“Do you have a brother? Mine graduated from Durmstrang’s last year. Now he acts all manly and likes dueling, which is no fun ‘cause he won’t climb any trees with me.” She pouted, starting to carve in a half-oval window into the side of the tower, wondering what could be inside the tower. She decided it was Merlin the Wizard’s secret hideout, where he went to brew the then-illegal magical brews using his super-secret ingredients… Which, she guessed, were probably illegal to sell in the country now.

"Do I get a say in what my robes are named?" Kel asked, raising his eyebrows. "Because Robesies sounds very feminine." he nodded shortly. "Well, I suppose you can name them, as long as the name isn't...girly. And yeah, I'll be sure to apologize. That was rather rude of me to toss them aside so they wouldn't get dirty..." his smile was still planted on his face, despite the sarcasm.

"Bathing suit. Right-o." So there was going to be a next time. Good. At least Livveh didn't plan on suffocating him with sand any time soon...

He watched as she started throwing sand onto him, screwing up his eyes to try to see what was happening - because the sand wasn't staying there. "That looks difficult." he commented, then sighed. "Perhaps A LITTLE water would be okay...to get the sand sticky, and stuff...just don't drown me, kay?" He could not believe that he was giving this girl to completely bury him in wet dirt. He must've officially gone crazy.

Livvy thought about it and grinned. "I guess you do, but I won't use it," she said. "And Robesies is NOT a feminine name. It's cute-so. You're just all 'masculine'," Livvy said, making a face and did the air quotes when she mentioned the word "masculine". She grinned and nodded her head. Good boy. He was growing up.

"It truly is difficult. You won't believe. We need water!" Livvy groaned, flapping her arms into the air helplessly. It was like writing on parchment without a writing utensil. What was up with that?

What?! They can use water?! YES! "It's okay Kello.. I won't drown you... just a little.... bit.... of water will do the trick," Livvy said, pulling out her wand. "Aquamenti," she muttered and water shot out of her wand and onto the sand pile before her. It was a little bit TOO much... but oh well. Kelly boy will get over it.

"I have a right to be masculine," he reminded her.I am a guy, you know... he added in his head. He frowned as he watched her take out her wand, preparing to be shot in the face by a jet of water because, really, Livvy was unpredictable, and she was the type of person to do that kind of thing.

Buuuut....he didn't get shot in the face. Instead she completely drenched a patch of sand next to him. "That's good." he commented before eying the wand. I think you're done, he thought accusingly. "Now can we please get to the mermanification? Before a crab crawls in my britches or something?"

And that was a word he never, ever said. 'Pants' or even 'trousers' would sufice...but 'britches' came from his mouth before he could stop to think. Oh well. And...who knew if there were crabs in there? Really. There could be one right under his rear end at this very moment, and he wouldn't know until it painfully pinched said rear end.

Livvy snorted and rolled her eyes. Right. Kelly boy? Masculine? What a funny joke. Kelly made a funnyyy!!!! She shook her head as she stuffed her wand back into her pocket.

At what Kelboy said next made the fifth year stare at him. "Crabs? Don't think of such things. The crabs actually prefer the lake. I don't think they quite like sandboxes. Oh wait. Is that a crab?" Livvy asked, pointing at a random pile of sand, grinning. Tricksy... she was.

Livvy hardly even noticed that Kelboy said the word 'britches'. Sure it was rather odd, but it was Kellyboy they were talking about. He was the type of guy to use such a word. Hardly unusual for him. She just shrugged and began mixing the sand up with the water and placing it on Kel's stomach. AH-HA! It stayed! WHOOOOOOO-HOOOOOO!

Dominic was astonished that Evolette McKenna, queen of flirtation, did not seem to have any idea about how to prove that she was attracted to him. Did she not understand the concept that people lie!? Or maybe even just stretch the truth sometimes. But seriously, how was it that complicated that he wanted more substantial proof?

"For someone who appears to be so clever, apparently you're also quite naive," Dominic shook his head slowly, tsking quietly and quite amused by this. "No wonder you're no Ravenclaw."

Looking up again, to meet her deep blue eyes, the Hufflepuff smiled mischievously at her. "As someone who finds great interest in the fluency of words, then you should know that while you so-called professed your true feelings to me, it means little without some sort of proof of action."

Denton was playing right into her hand. Underestimating her. Would he ever learn his lesson? You simply don't underestimate a McKenna. Especially Evolette.

"No wonder you're no Ravenclaw." Willow. Mhmm. Interesting.

"If you're so dead set on it." she replied, shrugging as if she could really care less. But then she remembered that she was SUPPOSED to care. Whatever.

Closing the space between them in only a few steps, Evolette was once again reminded that she had wanted to try out his super soft kissable lips, and well, there was no time like the present. So, she kissed him.

"Now you have your proof." she whispered, smirking at the boy. Suppressing a giggle, she turned away from him, tossing a small wave over her shoulder as she headed back to the castle. Where she could fangirl over his kissable lips in the privacy of her own common room.

Dominic took a step back automatically when Evolette had move in closer. But it didn't make any difference, because the moment she closed the space, he knew what was coming. At least this time he was more prepared for it than in his fourth year.

Though the sweet smell of cinnamon filling his nostrils was clouding his thoughts, intoxicating his brain. And before he knew it, she had kissed him. With her lips. Miss conceited actually did it.

Proof? Yea, right, with that smirk. Even if she did kiss him and prove it with actions and words, it still seemed to be under false presumptions. Not only that, it added more drama to his already confusing life - between juggling his badgers and then Willow, he was really swamped already. And it was only the beginning of sixth year.

"You expect me to believe that," He called after her, almost laughing at her so-called 'kiss'. Really now. "Honestly, I may not have much experience on this matter ..." Little actually, having this been only his third fourth kiss. "... But even I could tell that was forced." Shaking his head amused, the sixth year turned his gaze back to watching the students playing in the sand, still amused.

"Hello Cid." Reid said rather excitedly before picking the imp up and cuddling it. In the back of his mind there was the thought that his reputation was ruined before he could even build it. He mentally sighed while the rest of his body, which was totally out of his control at the moment, continued to play with the imp. "Why no candy?" Reid asked curiously, regaining some of his control. It seemed the sugar had started to wear off. That was the good thing about his fits of hyperactivity. They were started easily but always wore off quickly. "So how have you been recently?"

She was surprised as Reid picked Cid up and cuddled it. "You could put him back on the cage... he might ruin your clothes," she said. However, Via was enjoying the scene at the moment. "I've been great. The latter days of summer was a bit toxic." She had to do some shopping errands for the things she needed. "How about you? We never saw each other after you bought your black owl." She finished the candy and pocketed the wrapper then picked Cid's cage... Cid would have to be returned now. "Oh... mind, i have to return Cid to the nursery," she added. She didn't want to spoil the fun Reid was having with Cid.

"My clothes?" Reid asked somewhat confused. Why would he worry about the clothes he was wearing. Looking down he tried to see his clothes from her perspective but failed. "These aren't really important, they're what I normally hang out at my house in or play sports in. I hardly ever wear them outside." Shrugging he stood up and picked up his shoes and socks in one hand while holding Cid in the other. "You mean Tenebrae?" he asked curiously. "I suppose that was awhile ago.." he trailed off as he began to pet the imp slightly. "My holidays were alright, I missed my friends though, owling them just isn't the same as being involved in the drama's and everything." shrugging he began to walk. "So umm where do you have to take Cid to be returned?" he asked after realising that he had no idea where he was going.

It would be hard to explain so she tried to make it simple. "Cid was kinda fond of pulling and tugging everything," she smiled as she glanced at the imp on Reid's arms. "I am quite surprised he liked you. You're fond of them aren't you?" Soon Reid grabbed his things and started to walk, "Tenebrae," she tilted her head as she followed him, "That's an interesting name. Where did you get it?" She was wondering why he was walking away from the sand box. Talking about him transferring, it must have been hard for him to just transfer like that. "Aren't you going to play in there and work on some sandcastles? You're already set to play," she asked looking back at the area. But her question was answered by his question. Vivianne smiled at him, "I'm returning him at the Magical creatures nursery over there at Professor MOrgan's hut," she said gladly pointing at the Care of MAgical Creatures sanctuary. Now she started to get it, he's accompanying her. "You're coming with me?" The picture of Reid carrying the imp was too lovely to be cut for Via.

Xehanna walked down to the sandbox and noticed quite a few people in it. She set her bags downa nd let her eyes go deep purplein excitement. She jumped in and the sand went flying everywhere. She was so happy to be acting like a 5 yearold that kind of felt a little stupid. Ha whatever. she thought.

"yay!" Lilly said enthusiastically. "this should be fun!"

Kevin grinned at Lilly and started tearing down the castle "Your right it will be fun"

Lilly laughs and starts tearing down the castle. "haha this is great!" slowly the entire thing has collapsed. After tearing it down Lilly bursts into a fit of laughter.

Kevin saw Lilly laughing and said "That was fun wasn't it"

"definitaly!" she agreed "sorry about all the laughter when i start it's hard to stop! i don't get to a lot, after my mom died." she said and decided to start building up the castle without looking at him.

Kevin nodded and said "Yeah i havent laughed much either since my mum died at the end of last term" Kevin sighed and started to help Lilly build up the castle

Kel looked at Livvy accusingly when she snorted. He was pretty sure what she was snorting at, but he decided to look past that, because it was quite rude. She had just made it clear that she didn't think he was masculine. Hmph.

He jumped - as much as he could while lying on his back in a pile of sand - when she pointed and said something about a crab. He twisted his head sideways, trying not to move his body too much, too look where she had indicated. "Ha ha. Funny." he said sarcastically, rolling his eyes turning his head forward.

He watched as she piled sand onto his stomach, one eyebrow cocked curiously. This probably looked quite odd to people passing by...or maybe not. He'd come to realize that Livveh was pretty much always crazy - maybe the other people at Hogwarts just accepted that she always did crazy things, and her burying someone in wet sand wasn't anything new.

"i miss my mum i was only 6. but i remember her so well." lilly said with tears welling in her eyes while she dicided to make a tower on the east side of the castle.

Kevin nodded and said "I understand how you feel Lilly" Kevin saw that she was crying and said "It must have been hard to lose your mum when you were so young"

"it was but i had friends who helped me through it. my dad took it the hardest. they had known each other from the time they were born. after that he was never the same. i ended up being more of an adult than him. i still am. but i don't mind." lilly said. kevin didn't look to sure. "really i'm used to it." she assured him. she wiped the tears that were spilling over her eyes and continued to work. the castle was looking great so far.
