Sydney glanced to her right, a boy with brown curly hairs was walking towards her. She smiled at him, "Hi, I am Sydney..." She said politely.

"Hey Sneeze." Dem looked up from her drawings in the sand. "Yea, and its a good place when you just need to think." At the time, the was nothing really for Dem to think about. It was a new year at Hogwarts and everything was going great.

"Hello!I'm Cedric."Cedric said as he offered his hand to the girl at "So you're new at Hogwarts?"Cedric asked looking at the girl with straight,a litltle bit red hair...

"Hi Cedric!" She said shaking his hand. "Yes I am a firstie, what about you?" She asked him. Sydney bent down and ran her fingers through the sand.

"A second year student."Cedric replied as he also shake the girl's hand."So how's your days that you expend here?"He asked the girl that is a Slytherin because of the badge at the girl's robe.

Another Slytherin friend,He thought.He had so many Slytherin friends,Nowadays All of the houses were good friends.Then he bent down as he pick some sand that he think he can only see in beaches and in Middle East.

"Hi Cedric," Via smiled. She was glad she have seen him again. She actually had no idea why something like that was placed there. Maybe for another reason.

"Thank you," she said as she grabbed the candy. "The best.. so lemme taste them." She slowly laid on the ground Cid's cage and open the candy. She nodded as a sign of agreeing about the sandbox, she was busy taking a bite on the candy. It's sweet... of course that's a candy... no... it tastes really great. "Thank you again for this, Reid," she said as she munched on. Via laughed as she noticed Reid's hyperactive after the treat he had eaten. She glanced at Cid, who was busy watching the people do their own sand castles. "this cute little pal of mine is Cid," she said as she sit and petted its head. Cid actually like him either, he didn't react violently when infact he's supposed to be like when her father tries to feed him. "He actually likes you," she said happily. Cid was trying to grab for something, that's when Via realised that Cid's grabbing the candy she was holding. "Oh no... no candy today Cid."

"Second year, great!" She said grinning. "My day is going great, I love this place" Sydney said glancing around. Sydney started to write her name on sand with her little fingers. "Cedric you are in Hufflepuff, right?" She said looking at the boy who was sitting next to her.

Lyra needed some fresh air, she walked on the Hogwarts ground, watching the beautiful blue sky 'nice day' she thought to herself while walking past the big lake and after a few steps she fell on to her face "what in merlins name?" she cursed . Looking up again she saw a big, no wait. HUGE sandbox. Lyra looked around, oh how she loved to play in these things when she was little and couldnt resist yelling "Sand!!" and dropped down again to make a sand castle.

Kevin played in the sand and looked about at his fellow students and thought wow that is very cool castle that he had built

Surprisingly still sitting in the sand, Seth listened as the girl apologized to him with just a single word. It sort of made perfect sense that someone so young would just think that a simple ‘sorry’ was a good enough apology, but apparently it was good enough for Masterson too as he walked toward his hut after saying that there was a happy ending. Maybe a happy ending for the girl, but not for my poor finger, Seth thought as he looked down at his bitten finger. Well, it hadn’t fallen off yet. At least that was one reason why this could be said as a happy ending. Maybe, he still had to help that girl make a sandcastle and then destroy it. Ugh!

Before Masterson had left the two to get going on the whole sandcastle building, he took back the comment he had made about how it was just wrong that a girl had ended up tackling him. Those last few words from the groundskeeper was a ‘Don’t worry, be happy!’ type of thing as his own wife (since when did he get married?) had managed to tackle him too. HA! So it wasn’t just a seventh year blonde that could get tackled by a mere girl. VICTORY!!

Avoiding eye contact with Denton, who he was positively sure that he was enjoying this right now, Seth watched as the groundskeeper until he was no longer seen from the sandbox. If the blonde wanted, he could sic the naive girl on Denton. … However, was it really worth it? No, not right now anyway.

Looking over at the girl, he sighed and ran a hand through his perfect hair. He just couldn’t believe that he was actually going to be playing in the sand and helping a little eleven year old build a sandcastle. As long as The Daily Prophet crew weren’t around taking pictures of this once in a lifetime occasion in the bushes with their cameras, then that’d be all right with him. Maybe. Sighing once more, Seth asked, “So … do you have a mini-shovel or something of the sort around here?”

Cassadee doodled on the ground, plotting her next castle. A biiiiig one, this time, 'cause this time... She had a helper and all. A big moat, with little alligators in it, and a working drawbridge, and a big fat wall, with lots of little towers sticking out of it. Looking up as the boy asked for a shovel, she stared.

"You're not supposed to use a shovel, silly. You make it with your hands." She said, starting to dig out a mini-moat with her own index finger. "SO. With this castle, I want a big castle, with really tall towers, and a big wall, a drawbridge, a moat... Oh the moat needs to have Alligators, or Crocodiles in it, or maybe a Hippogriff swimming in it. Or Harry Potter's house elf, Dobby, dancing on top of the water." Cassadee started, digging further into the mini-moat with her finger, getting sand under her fingernails, before sighing and grabbing an elastic from her wrist and tying back her unruly, blonde, pink-streaked hair... Revealing a tiny grey mouse.

"Oh, there you are, Buttons!" Cassadee giggled, petting the top of her pet mouse's little furry head. The mouse squeaked, and retreated to the back of her neck, hiding itself from big boy's view.

"That was Buttons, my pet mouse." She explained to him, watching him to make sure he didn't try and attack her pet mouse or anything. "And I'm Cassadee. And you are a Sand Castle Squisher."

There, now he had a name, too.

When the girl startled doodling the outline of how enormous her … well … their castle was going to be, Seth could not help but notice one very important thing about the girl. She really was a naïve little human biting monster! Contemplating taking the risk of running away from the girl, the blonde just sat in the sand. It wasn’t worth getting bitten again, that was for sure. Watching as she continued to think about that castle of theirs, the boy’s blue eyes widened when she answered his question about whether she had any mini-shovels he could use.

There was no mini-shovels?! What? Okay, that was going to be a HUGE problem. Only being Herbology and Potions was as close as it was to him getting dirty on purpose; there were no other acceptions to that either. Nope, there was no way that she was going to get him to help her if there weren’t any mini-shovels around the place. Surely there had to be some somewhere around here, it was a sandbox for Merlin’s sake! Honestly. There was no way he, Seth Benjamin Paton, was going to get his hands all dirty and end up getting sand under his fingernails.

However, that was until a mouse showed up into the whole picture. If Seth wasn’t beyond afraid of the girl and her peculiarity, he for sure was now because of that mouse…

Letting a weak smile cover up the discomfort that would’ve shown on his face if the mouse hadn’t retreated to the back of the girl’s neck, the Hufflepuff couldn’t help but thank God that he mouse was just as scared of him as he was scared of the mouse. Although nothing was very scary about the mouse on the outside, as it looked just like any ordinary mouse, it still gave him the heebie-jeebies. Knowing the girl (who apparently had a name which was Cassadee), she had probably trained that mouse to bite just as hard as she herself could bite anyone. “Okay, Cassadee. … Umm. No. My name is Seth. Not ‘Sandcastle Squisher.’ Okay?” And until she got that right, he wasn’t going to help her build their sandcastle. Oh snap!

Kevin kept building his castle as high as he could so he could smash it later this was so much fun and it helped him forget about his leg

lilly walked into the sandbox and saw a familiar face, kevin. "hey kevin." lilly said joyfully "how is your sand castle building going?"

Kevin smiled and said "Hey Lilly it is going good i am having fun why don't you join me?" Kevin could do with the company

Dem looked up from her sand drawings. The first year she met in the girls dorms had joined them. "Hello, Lilly." she smiled. "Nice to see you again."

Cassadee frowned as he looked panicked at the fact there were no shovels. "If you use a shovel, you can accidentally squish a castle easy as making one with a shovel. So no shovels." She explained slowly, crossing her arms. Jeez, what a thick-head. It was common sense that using a shovel usually resulted in tears after you destroyed the castle, because it was too perfect. "No problemo, right?"

Cassadee frowned as he tried to explain his name. Not Sandcastle Squisher? "But that's what you are, Seff!" she protested, flailing slightly. "You're a Sandcastle Squisher, 'cause that's what you did to the last castle. So now you're helping make a new one, and then we're gonna squish this one all over again. So you're a Sandcastle Squisher." She explained, slowly like before. It didn't matter if it would take a billion years for him to accept it - he was Sandcastle Squisher. Easy as that.

"Seff is a Sandcastle Squisher. 'Nuff said." She finalized, crossing her arms and cocking an eyebrow, challenging him to defy her not-so common sense, as the mouse peeked out at Seth Seff from the top of Cassadee's shoulder, staring directly at Seth's hair... Which would be a perfect spot to hide itself later.

Lilly smiled back at kevin and said "sure i would love to it looks like fun." she sat and started working with kevin and joking around as they built up the castle. Lilly hadn't had that much fun in a while.

Kevin grinned and got back to work and said "Sorry about yesterday Lilly"

lilly considered this for a moment and said "although im not quite sure what you mean i accept your appology." she grinned hugely and started to make a moat around the castle

Kevin grinned and said "So how are you settling in at Hogwarts Lilly"

smiling back lilly said "oh hey, yeah good to see you to. what are you up to?"

after thoroughly thinking this question over lilly replied "well after yesterdays episode with sarah, better. i have been making some new friends and learning my way around. im really starting to love it here. i have more chances every day to forget about the pain at home. it's great. how about you?" she questioned.

Seth couldn’t believe this girl. She acted as if she was the sandcastle expert of the whole friggin’ world. Instead of simply letting him use a min-shovel to build the castle so he wouldn’t get too dirty, she was going to make him suffer and probably build the majority of it with his bare hands. Merlin, this was ten times worse than repotting those nasty and ugly pink puffapods (no offence, Professor Bunbury) in Herbology. In fact, Mr. Perfect Hair Paton would rather be repotting some puffapods right now than be helping Cassadee built this massive sandcastle. Oh, the things he managed to get himself into by complete accident.

“Fine!” he snapped back at her, folding his arms at the same time. If this was how she wanted to play, he was certainly going to fight back. He was a seventh year and he was not going to be bossed around by a mere first year who could chomp off the rest off his fingers. And then there was that mouse of hers. Oookay, maybe he would just let her have her way — just this one time, though. “But we’re going to make a hippogriff for that moat of ours. And I’m going to be the one to make it, got it?”

As she continued on, Seth couldn’t help but let a normal smile show on his face. Okay, so what if he was a sandcastle squisher? It wasn’t his fault that Masterson had made the blasted sandbox! It wasn’t his fault that he wasn’t expecting there to be a sandbox roughly about thirty steps away from the lake! I mean, who would expect such a thing at Hogwarts? And there was no way he was going to let Cassadee get her way twenty-four seven because he had accidentally squished her sandcastle with a SCRUNCH earlier!

“And the name is Seth,” he said, strongly emphasizing the ‘th’ at the end of his name. Honestly, how hard was it for an eleven year old to pronounce his name right? A two year old could do better than that…

Kevin smiled and said "I love Hogwarts it is a home from home for me cause i am now in my second term here and i am still finding my way around"

lilly listened intentively "haha i think even if we stayed here for a hundred years we still wouldn't know everything about it!" she said giggling "this place is just to big with too many secrets.
