"I'm thinking that maybe Amanda was started to falling in love with you."He said smiling touching the sands.

"Love? Ha I don't think so, not yet mate. At the moment we just... like each other. I don't think I even know what love is yet."
*Gabben let out a laugh and patted Cedric on the back.*

"I'm not Joking mate."Cedric said seriously but smiling."I'm sure that she does,why don't you talk to her,ask her what he feels for you"

Sydney really needed some fresh air & more importantly FUN & what's better place than the sandbox? Wearing a cute flowy orange-ish dress, she stepped inside the sandbox, carefully placing her flip-flops at the edge.

Closing her eyes, she breathed deeply & smiled as the sun shone down on her, making her brown hair look lighter. It felt great, to just sit and experience the cool breeze after a long tiresome day.

Grabbing a chocolate bar from her tote bag, Sydney decided to build a castle. Folding her legs, she started sculpting the castle while munching her chocolate from time to time. It seemed as chocolate was the only thing Sydney ate in the past few days. She had been feeling low lately and sugar was the only thing that made her feel good. Sydney glanced around occasionally, thinking if someone wanted to join her.

Yawning, Jule made her way to the sadnbox. A square, sandy, relaxing place for a tired Ravenclaw just like her. She had spent most of the morning trying to understand the purpose for Astronomy. But it was no use. She was never going to understand it. Stars, something else, signs....siiiiiiiiiigh.

She dropped her bag near the edge and sat in the sand. she took off her shoes and socks and hid them under her bag. She tried to build a sand castle but her weak arms wouldn't let her. After a couple more tries, she still didn't give up. It woke her up even more...

Shana walked into the sandbox.SAAAND?! SAAAAND?! Waaas awesome? Check.She shrugged her thoughts were getting weirder and weirder oddly since she met this Clark person,but ooh well she shrugged.

Clark person moonwalked around the grounds, finally bumping into...what was this? sand? He was allergic to sand! NUUUUU! Oh, wait, nevermind, that was dander and carrots, vitamin water, most types of metal, pencil lead, regular lead, glitter, this type of ink called Jade, chocolate sauce, milk, a lot of meat products, the color green, geckos, magnets, catsup, ferns, roosters.

So there was nothing wrong. He plopped down in the sandbox and started making a potato, like the one he had a tattoo of on his shoulder, and spied a girrrrrl. "SHANA!!!!" he yelled and ran towards her. "Will you sign my potato?"

Shana Screamed.AHHHHHHHHHHH! Geez why did he have to be so looud ?Hi Clark.. she leaned over riiight next to his ear.CLAAAAAARK! She shouted as loud as she could down his ear.Sign his potato ? Okay.It was deffinitely officially,lost it.Umm Okay ? She got out a pen and waited for him to give her a potato.Then she saw something on his shoulder,was that a potato ? Ohhh it was a tatoo.How Do you expect me to sign your shoulder ? she raised her eyebrow and looked at him blankly.

Whoa...some people just didn't understand him. Sigh. Just cos he was loud didn't mean he was....obnoxious...Wait. SHE SAW HIS TATTOOO!!!! "AHHH!" he screamed loudly without thinking. He quickly pulled up his robe to his neck so the ink wasn't visible. "Erm...my shoulder? Whatever do you mean?" he asked sheepishly. He walked over to his sand potato and brought it over to her carefully. "Um, this potato. That I made, With sand. That I want you to sign."

Nice save, Clark. She'll never suspect a thing.

Shana rolled her eyes.Yeah,Yeah whatever.Now spill.You,me and the guy that did that THING to your shoulder,alll know theres something on there.Now show me. she said without a second thought,she didn't care what Clark said,She WOULD see what was on his shoulder,whether he liked it or not.And with that she clapped her hands together and smiled evilly.Buut if he wanted her to siiign his sand she would.She wriggled her finger about and wrote 'Clark stop being stupid,I know you have something on your shoulder,Now dont lie' on his sand and smirked.

Reese wandered down to the grounds after leaving the Gryffindor Common Room. She needed a nice place to relax and...maybe even build a sand castle. That's why the 16 year old blonde was standing next to the BIG sandbox. She put her hands on her hips and glanced around at all the people who were outside. Where were all her friends? She headed into the sandbox and that's when she noticed Shana and a boy she has never met before. Hmmm.

"Shana," she called out. She headed over to her little friend and smiled. "I haven't seen you in a long time," she informed the little girl. How long has it been since they have talked to each other? A few weeks or maybe even a month. She hasn't seen the little girl since they talked to each other in the corridor. "I don't think we've met before," she told the boy Shana was with. "I'm Reese Upstead."

Clark grimaced. "I have no idea what you are talking about, Shana." Well, at least she signed his sand! Woohoo! He read the message slowly out loud. "Clark, stop being stupid, I know you have something on your shoulder...oh, dearie me..." he trailed off. Huh. So she wanted to know why he had a potato on his shoulder? Hmm...he had an idea. "Well, when I was a little boy, aliens, they uh...came to my...primary school, yeah, and they beamed me up in their spaceship. And it was named...Potato III. And so they almost turned me into an alien, um, like them, and so I asked to be let go...and they were GOOD aliens, so they gave me a potato tattoo. So I wouldn't forget them."

He nodded firmly.

And then there was another GIRRRRRRL. Reeeeeeeese. Upsteeeeadd. "Reese? That sounds like...RAISIN! Haii Raisin. Upstead? Are you related to Jake?" he stared at her accusingly. "The crazy one?"

Shana shook her head.You lier.Aliens did So NOT taked you away when you were little,But you know what if im not important enough in your friendship For you to tell me,Then I dont wanna know. she shrugged,then he asked Reese if she was realated to Jake,The crazy one ? Shana completely disagreed,Yeaah,Jake was a bit crazy buut most of all Shana thought he was the Hawt one.But she darent say nothing,Oh no.No waay.Jakes Crazy ? Have you looked in the mirror,Lately Clark ? she shook her head.


Shana smiled as Reese came over.Reese! she beamed,glad to see her friend again.I knoooow.It beeen like 3 yeeaaars! she exaggeratted muchoo.And beamed again,then she said about not meeting Clark before.Your the lucky one. she mummbled quietly,and then smiling sarcastically at Clark.

Reese raised her eyebrow at the boy when he started talking about aliens and spaceships and...potatoes? Uhhh, maybe this was a horrible time to interrupt this conversation. She wasn't going to ask about him being turned into an alien. Nope. She turned her attention back to Shana, but then the boy said her name sounded like...

RAISIN?!

She quickly looked back at him. "Raisin?" She repeated, but wasn't going to argue with that nickname. If the boy wanted to call her raisin, even if she didn't like the nickname, then he could. At least it was better than being called a Crazy Woman. When the boy mentioned her brother, she nodded her head at his question. "I am related to Jake. He's my brother, well, he's my stepbrother, but his dad adopted me and my real brother, so I guess that would make me he's brother..." she trailed off. "Did that make any sense?" She wasn't sure if they boy understood a word she just said.

"Three years? Oh, Shana, dear. I don't think it's been that long," Reese told her with a little grin. "More like a month." She didn't catch the last thing Shana said since she mumbled it. Hmmm. She wasn't going to ask the little girl what she just said. If she mumbled it, then she didn't really want anyone to hear it.

"Uhuh! They were big GREEEEEEEN aliens too and I sneezed a lot. Like achoo. Achoo!," he sneezed for realz. "Have you ever seen an alien that WASN'T green? Cos if you have, I wanna know about it." he raised his eyebrows and started dancing the Charleston. Pure awesomeness. And then she was asking him if he had looked in the mirror lately. "Uh, this morning, why? Do I have something in my hair?" he shook it out, stray feathers shaking out at the GIRLLLLLS. Oh, feathers. Ever since he had been turned into a duck....ah well.

"Raisin? Yeah, it sounds like Reese. Like, Reese/Raise? Uhuh." he nodded. "Oh, so you DO know Jake? He's my buddy...and he's been acting kind of weird lately. Paranoid. Odd, ever since he was sick over the seventh floor corridor...icky." He bugged his eyes at her accusingly. "Would you happen to know anything about that, Miss Dried Grape? Hmmm?"

Shana rolled her eyes.Yeah,I'll just pretend to believe you.She shrugged and rolled her eyes again.No Clark.Its a saying.You called Jake weird and I said have you looked in the mirror,Hence Your weird too.I dunno if you realised that but its kinda true. she nodded

Shana shook her head as Reese said it hadnt been 3 years.Weel Little Reeseling,A mounth ago you must've saw a person that looked like me cause I havnt seen you for 3 yeaaars,Not even once.Zero Zilch L-Zippo Times. she nodded trying to make herself perfectly clear.She hugged Reese and stuck her tounge out at Clark.Dont Call Reeseling-Haha Duckling,Reeseling- Raisin..Raisins are icky,They taste weird and they look like shrivled up little old people and Reeseling is NOT old.Yet she smiled.

Reese nodded her head slowly. Raisin...Reese? This boy was weird, but oh well. She had a lot of weird friends, one more weird friend wouldn't hurt. "Jake was sick?" She questioned. "I didn't know that. What happened? And, no, I wouldn't know anything about that."

Miss Dried Grape? No commmment. "So, blue headed boy, what's your name?" She asked. Did the boy tell her his name? If he did, she didn't hear it.

Reese raised her eyebrow at Shana. Did she understand a word that girl just said? Nope. She just nodded her head, acting like she understood what her friend just said. "So, what have you been up to?" She asked Shana, hoping to change the subject.

"Um...thank you?" It came out sounding like more of a question than a statement. "So, I'm weird? I can live with that." he nodded. Well, it was true. He didn't care....much. OK, a bit. But not really. Mostly he just wanted to know why people used that expression. It seemed dumb.

"He was puking alllllllllll over the seventh floor corridor, like I said. Apparently," he used finger quotes, "he ate a chocolate frog stuffed with a puking pastille. But I really don't think that's what happened. It's all a conspiracy by Nurse Avalon. She even turned me into a duck." he whispered.

Why had his sister sent him a package of sand-colored muffins? Professor Svensson had tasted one, and it tasted like banana and nut, but it looked like wet sand. Lars stared into the box of twelve--originally a baker's dozen--muffins and walked briskly to the sandbox. Maybe normal sand tasted like nutty bananas. Looking from muffin box to sand box, Svensson decided that the two looked quite similar. It was unnerving how much the muffins looked like sand.

Who baked muffins that looked like sand and expected someone to be grateful to receive them as a gift?

Pondering this thought, Lars sank to his knees in the sand and rested the muffin box on the sand next to him. There had to be a reason for the similar appearances.

Shana gave a little smile,still quite confused why Clark said Thank You ?...Was he asking her if she wanted a thank You.Weird boy.She shrugged and turned back to Reese.


Shana beamed,knowing that by Reese head bobbling She understood everything Shana just said and cause she didnt say anything back she obviously agreed! Finally.She smiled and shrugged.Try'na get Clark to show me his potato he wanted me to sign,buuut apparently it was made out of sand.It soo really wasn't. she nodded.Hoping that just made sense cause quite frankly in her mind it really didnt.

"A potato...made out of sand? What's with you and potatoes?" Reese asked, turning back to the boy. She walked up with them talking about potatoes and aliens and now Shana said the boy made a potato out of sand. "Annnnd, he wanted you to sign the potato?" She added to her other question. Then, the boy said he was turned into a duck. Nurse Avalon turned him in a duck? "Why did she turn you into a duck?" She asked him.

"Potatoes are healthy and good for the soul." Clark nodded. "And yummy." Oh, great. The duck incident. It was all the flooding's fault. Yeah. Sure. "Weeeeelll, I went to go get help for Masterson and Vindictus when they were like drowning, and Nurse Avalon fainted, and poured all these potions on me, and I turned into a duck." He shook a few more blue feathers out of his...blue hair. "It's all a conspiracy, cos she doesn't like people who get sick often. It's eeeeevillll." He moved his head around in a circle.

Reese nodded. "True. Potatoes are good," she agreed. She started looking around the sandbox as she listened the Clark talk. She looked back at Clark when he was done with his little story. She watched some of the blue feathers fall to the ground as she spoke, "that's an interesting story. I mean, it's not everyday someone gets turned into a duck."

Shana looked back and forth at Clark and Reese,and again and again.And did the same again about 7 times.Then they both stopped talking and Shana chuckled at the last thing Reese said,about someone being turned into a duck.No it wasn't.Quack Quack! she siad acting rather childish.Then she got on her knee's and started to crawl around with her hands on her hips pretending to be a duck,this time being VERY childish.She got up and then looked back at them both.So Clark,Was it fun being a duck ? she shrugged,Random,Yes buut also a way to keep the conversation going.

Totally preoccupied with what Fyo and Karma told him, Torin made what he could only describe as a sand fortress. Totally fortified. It was a pretty amazing piece if he had to say so himself.

Though really it didn't matter too much to him at the moment. Maybe they were all right. Maybe he should talk to Reese again. He did miss her a lot. And she was a good friend besides the huge hugee HUGE mistake of telling Bunbury.

He had no idea what to do. Reese was probably never going to speak to him again.
