"yeah good point. Maybe in a few years we will know enough to keep it standing on water!" Iris laughed, "yeah, I've seen it. It was well, different from the more recent muggle movies!" she said, "that's more or less what our merpeople look like. I've heard that the lake has loads of them!" Iris said, alsmost in a whisper, as if it was a secret. Iris looked at her boat. Boy was she proud of it. She sat back on to her bum and wiped the sand off her knees, a big smile on her face. "this, is the first thing I have ever made and am happy about the final thing." she said happily.

"Are there?" Aaron thougth about going to the lake and saying 'Whatsup' to a merperson. HE chuckled at the thought. He wondered whether they were friendly or vicious...

Aaron looked at it. It looked like a ship. With the sicks as the mass and the leaves as the sail it looked REALLY good. "Good job," he said to her. "It looks really good."

Aaron thought about making a floating sand-boat. "Well, you probably would know how to do it. Well, so would I, but I wouldn't be ABLE to do it." He then took out his wand and looked at it. "I was surprised I preformed on the first try before, Aguamenti-"

Aaron had not been TRYING to perform the spell. But he did. Aaron had also not realized that the end of his wand was facing him. So after saying it, and big stream of water shot out of his wand soaking Aaron and knocking him down into the sand.

"CRAAAAAP." he said still laying down. He was now all wet and sandy.

He shook his head in amusement. "You're a lucky guy, Miles. I used to have a girl too. But I had to leave her back home." He still missed her. She was a great girl with beautiful black hair. He watched Miles put the flag in the castle and said, "Oh, I agree. Maybe I should build a fort to go along with your castle." Why not?

He then smiled. So he wasn't alone with a crush on a Professor. "Professor Morgan is alright, but it's all about Bunbury for me. She's so... nice. And I think she likes me." He did a little inward happy dance. "What kind of pet were you thinking of buying her?" Maybe he could help Miles think of something.

Anna started to open her mouth and reply with smart remark about what Evee had to say about her little "Rawr," but she refrained. At the moment, with a Kiss-a-thon on the brink of beginning, that was a trivial matter. Instead, Anna made a slight face, but otherwise let the matter be.

"I'm going to do it, okay ?" Anna asked, a slightly irritated look on her face. Sometimes, she and Evee were just too much alike. "I'm not backing down. I'll just have to keep asking myself 'Cale who?' throughout this whole ordeal." She half-laughed, then grew quiet while Evee said her vows. "Okay, my turn. I solemnly swear I am up to no good," she said. "I read that in a history book once. It just seemed cool. Anyway, so that's it, right?" She put her wand away, then looked back and forth between Evee and Lyra. "We ready to start?"

Lyra stood with her hands behind her back, rocking back and forth on her feet. She was waiting for the two slow pokes to get going on this thing. She would have already fled the scene if it involved herself. Blah Blah Blah, yada yada yada.

"Fine fine, you two have a shake on it, I'm just ready to...do whatever I need to do." A sly grin appeared on her face as her green eyes shifted back and forth between both girls. "I'm ready!"

"thanks." Iris said quietly, smiling, "It's a shame that it won't last."

Iris listened to Aaron speak, smacking her forhead as he said the spell. She burst out laughing as Aaron fell backwarks, soaking wet. Once her laughter had subsided, she shuffled over to him and held her hand out, "do you want a hand up Aaron? Or do you just want to lie there all day?" she said, still laughing a bit.

Jenn eyed the sand. Should she actually play in it, or make a master piece. That was the question. Kicking her shoes off and rolling up her pants and sleeves, she sat down in the sand, her fingers doodling in it. After a long time of thinking, she finally brought out her wand and started levitating sand up and packing it up into the little bucket that was near by. Nodding that it was packed well enough, she tipped it over onto the ground. Tada! The first part! Nodding she started doing the same, whistling as she went along.

"Alright, what's done is done," Anna said, smirking, then putting her wand away. "The bet's been made official now, so...yeah, it's on! May the best kisser win!" She raised her eyebrows and gave both Evee and Lyra a mischievous smile.

"Well, now. From this moment on, the game has begun. I say we put our owls to use and alert the other when we think we've one the game. We can meet right back at here at this sandbox to declare me the winner." Smirking once again, Anna added, "Alright, I'm off to the Common Room to finish the rest of my homework. I'll see you two around. Oh, and thanks for agreeing to be my bridesmaids!"

With a little wave, Anna turned and headed off to the castle. Ohhh, this was going to be loads of fun! Watch out, boyysss!

Come to think of it, Miles was pretty lucky. He had known that for a very long time. Though, he had only just realized that trying to keep such a brilliant relationship was much more difficult than school or anything like that. He wondered if he and Vannie were any good at it, they must have been, they were still very much together. "Cheers." Miles smiled at him. "Shame, mate. Where's home then for you?" He obviously wasn't from around here ... meaning Scotland. But Miles wasn't exactly from around here, south west of England more like. Miles gasped at the idea, he loved it! "A fort! That's just what we need!" Why hadn't Miles thought of that before?!

Both Miles' eyebrows were now raised. Bunbury liked HIM? "Isn't that ..." He tried to finish his sentence. It wasn't like he was going to offend Torin, but really? Could a teacher really have feelings for a student? Was it allowed? "...odd?" He finally said. Miles would have been incredibly happy if he found out Morgan liked him, though he would be awkward also. It was alright for him to like her, but he would never tell her! ... would he? NO, he had Vannie. "Hmmmm. She's quite girly, so I'm sure she'd like a pygmy puff. Then again, she's got loads of animals. So maybe she'd like something different?"

He nodded and said, "Greece. I'm from Greece. What about you?" England, from the sound of it, but the boy could have been born somewhere else just the same. He started building the fort as he talked, glad that Miles seemed to like the idea.

Though he had to stop at that next comment. "No, not like in that way. Though I wish she did. I mean.. I think she likes me as a student." He chuckled. It was too bad that it wasn't more than that, but at least she liked him period. "She was impressed with me in class." He started working again as the topic changed back to Professor Morgan, who he didn't have a crush on. "Well, if I was me, I'd do some digging and find out what her favourite animal is - Magical or non - and get her one of those. Like how I'm getting Bunbury pink flowers 'cause she loves pink." He nodded.

Cedric turned to the girl who call him.It was Via,He was quite amused seeing Via's beautiful face again.He must say that Via was a very great 'sister'.It doesn't mean literally that he and Via was siblings,Its what he feels though.It was really nice feeling to see his friend again."Hey V-via"He stuttered.Its been a long time since they met so it was a very happy feeling for him..

*Sitting a little bit off reading Gabben heard an old friend. He got up and walked over to Cedric with a fist full of sand. Gabben then let the sand fall of Cedrics hair and laughed.*
"Ello Sandy, been good?"
*Gabben winked and laughed. Cedric was like a little brother to Gabben and Gabben liked to mess with him any time he could.*

He was talking to Via happily BUT it was interrupted by someone who he thinks is a Jerk,Dork and Mean,He wonders who would do that thing to him,putting sands above his head,He turned to the person who put sands in his head.

He found out that it was his pal,Gabben."Jerk,You're such a dork and jerk combined."He choked laughing as he stood up and face Gabben.."I'm good.you?"He said as he moved closer to Gabben then muttered."How's you doin with Amanda?"He grinned then laugh.

Vivianne wanted to smile however her face didn't show any sign of happiness at all. "It's was good seeing you again," she told him blankly. "How are you? How's being a second year?" She stood near the edge of the sandbox as she spoke. She hoped she wasn't giving him the wrong idea of why she was acting like that. She's just not really into fun right now. She crossed her arms on her chest and continued, "I see you've been doing good with lessons." this time she wryly smiled.

Her brown eyes turned towards a familiar face she once had seen - she couldn't forget that scene. She let out a gasp when he put sand on Cedric's head. That isn't cool, she hated it when particles as tiny as those get stuck in her hair, she remembered Daisy with that. She didn't said anything though. She watched Cedric's response to him. She knew they were just playing around. She slowly shifted her gaze at the other people in the sandbox.

Aaron was seriously not in the mood. He was now all wet and he totally forgot the spell Clifford told him to make things dry. Great, juuuuust great. He grabbed her hand and she pulled him up.

"Thanks," he said annoyed. He turned his head to Iris. "Hey, do you happen to remember the 'Make things Dry' spell? It would sure come in handy right now." He looked down at himself. Not only was he wet, but the water collected sand and now he looked like the abominal sandman. Or is it snowman? Oh yeah, the sandman is that dude who comes into kids rooms at night.

"no, sorry I dont'." she said, laughing at his appearance. "the only thing you can do is wait to dry off." she said simply.

ooc = i thought the sand man was the dude who controlled time...

Aaron sighed. "I guess so." Aaron really didn't want to sit there and wait to dry off. He then looked over Iris shoulder and saw a hut in the distance. Of course! Maybe he knows a spell to dry me off! "Hey Iris, maybe Mr. Masterson (OOC: Groundskeeper) knows a spell that could get me dry." He hasn't met the groundskeeper yet. Maybe he's nice. Aaron's father told him that the Groundskeeper for Hogwarts for 50 years was Rubeus Hagrid and he was the greatest groundskeeper ever. perhaps Mr. Masterson was like him.

Iris looked at Aaron as he said this, "good Idea - shall we go then?" she asked, standing up and looking at her sand boat.

Aaron stood up, too. "Sure, let's go." There was just one thing Aaron wanted to do before they left. he reached into his pocket and took out his wand. While pulling out his puppy eyes he said, "May I?" He then looked at her and blinked several times and that look said, 'Pleeeeeeeeaaaaaaase...'.

Iris looked at Aaron, then to his wand, and back to Aaron. How could you resist those puppy dog eyes- "No!" Iris said sternly,"If you want to douse my boat in water - then no!" she said, beginning to laugh at his puppy dog face.

Aaron was suprised his puppy do eyes didn't work. but that wasn't exactly what he wanted to do. "Close, but no cigar." Aaron quickly built up a small pile of sand and then pointed his wand at a rock. "Windgardium Leviosa!" he said waving his wand. Suprisingly, it worked. He then brought the rock over above his little dune, and with a wave of his wand, the rock fell and crushed his little pile of sand. He made a big smile and looked at Iris.

"Now i want to do that," he said looking at the rock in the sand, "except with that rock and your boat," as he said that he pointed his wand at a bigger rock outside the sand box. He then looked back at Iris. "C'moooooon." he said in a whiney voice. "You can do it if you want to."

Close but no cigar? then what did he want to do to it? she thought as Aaron said the spell, "Heyy! Well done!" she said, congratulating him on the sucsessful spell, her eyes wide open as the rock fell into the pile of sand.

"how could you do that to the boat?! that's close to murder!" She said, laughing, "but no, It's staying as it is. So you go first-" she said, pointing towards the groundkeepers' hut "- and I will follow." She said, smiling

Aaron frowned, "Awww... fine." he put away his wand... and his frown. He really didn't want to do it all that much. He smiled and started walking. "Let's go!" he said turning around and talking to her. They started walking down the path to the hut.

"raace you there?" she asked. She liked racing people, even though she hated PE at primary school. But racing people for fun were, well - Fun!

Aaron liked her style. "Your on." Aaron got set at a crack in the path. "Alright, when I say go. Ready, set-" and without even saying go Aaron started running full speed down the path. Hey, he didn't like to lose.
