What was Professor Vindictus doing? Even thirty-five feet in the air [yes, he was halfway through a fun dive], Fyo could see that their flying instructor was "swishing" his wand. That was what it looked like from where he was, anyway. Minutes later, candy was raining down him and, squinting above, he realized that Satine had managed to break open the butterfly piñata.

Which could only mean....

The piñatas weren't charmed any longer!

Awesome! Fyo went pretty crazy, after that. Grabbing a handful of candy on his way towards the piggie piñata, the third year raised his bat and swung. Once, twice, thrice, four times. Thwack, thwack, THWACK, THWACK! The thing was about to break open, he was sure of it!

When a sudden bright pink light appeared then flickered away, Anna pulled back on her broom and came to a sudden halt. What in the world had that been? A pink light...ohhh, Lyra was probably just thrilled right about now. She'd not only been presented with a large, flying, pink high heel, but the skies had also momentarily changed to be her favorite color, as well. She turned around and around to see if she could catch sight of Lyra, but there were just too many people flying about to catch sight of just one person.

A few seconds later, that very same pink high heel came soaring by her head, and Anna had to actually duck to get out of its way. She looked at it with a rather shocked expression, then she dashed after it. She raised her bat and evened the tip of it with a section on the shoe. When she was close enough, she pulled back...THWACK! She hit the shoe and sent it soaring a good piece away.

Five hits in a row, now.

Wow. Fyo grinned to himself as, having raised his beater's bat again, he swung it at the piggie piñata once more. The thing soared off into the air, and Fyo chased it with speed, though pausing momentarily to look around and see if the others were having fun, too. Anna definitely was, for one.

With a PINK! shoe, need one mention?

His grin widening for a moment, the third year half-turned to see where the piggie piñata now hovered. He was going to break that one open, yes he was. "I'm coming at cha!" he told the piñata in question with a nod, before doing just that. THWACK! If the place had been an empty room, the walls would probably have fallen down after hearing that sound.

Luckily for him --- it wasn't.

And...what?! The little, or not so little, duckieeee was coming right back at her?! Was the other girl right about piñatas wanting to keeeeeelllll youuuuuu? Because that's what it sounded like.

Either way, the duckie had it coming and it was hit around four times away from the Huffie Captain, each time sounding more and more damaged. Perfect.

But...the birdies? Where were the birdies? Ooooh! There was one...and she zoomed as fast as she could to hit one of the bird piñatas. Poor thing, didn't see it coming.

"Make sure to collect the candy!" Vindictus called out and pointed to the one pinata that lay broken open on the ground. "Come on and hit those pinatas harder! Imagine your worst enemy is that pinata! Hit it with all you've got. HIT IT!"

Did they really need to? Imagine the pretty piñatas their worst enemies, that is? Besides, Fyo didn't have any worst enemies. At all. [Torin didn't count any longer - he was more of a best friend, now.]

Fyo raised his bat again, swinging it three times in a row. Thwack, thwack, THWACK! The sound was everywhere and then, to his surprise, the piñata had broken open. It did so with an odd, crunching noise, which was followed by a burst of - you guessed it - CANDY RAIN! Awesome!

Dani laughed loudly as she smacked the birdie one last time. Then the candy fell. Swooping down, she attempted to catch some of it as it fell, and succeeded. Then she landed and started stuffing candy in her pockets. When she had all that she wanted, she yelled. "I have some extra candy over here!!" Where was Jake when you needed him? Other than his whole anti-candy attitude these days.. What was up with that anyway? She was enjoying this though.

Taking off once more, she flew around looking for the other birdie. This one was flying around a little faster. "Imma get you bird!" She dove at it and managed to touch it lightly with the tip of her bat. That didn't work. She turned around and flew at it again.

It.

Would.

Not.

Get.

Away.

Like it was your worst enemy. Eeek! No, man, the piñatas shouldn't be harmed like that.

But...what? Candy? Pfffft. Why not place something a whole lot more useful than that inside? Yes, surely a bunch of people were now going to fight over piñatas...and she'll continue because it was only fun.

And great for...relaxing a bit.

Another hit at the only birdie one left and then she entirely lost track of that, until she noticed the girl from before was totally getting at the poor bird. Oh, well, let her have the bird, there are many others to choose from, plus, she wasn't precisely after the candy.

THWACK! BANG! THWACK! THWACK! BOOM!

After five more hits coming from Selena's admittedly heavy bat, the bunny pinata finally broke open only to rain candy on her. A chocolate frog bounced off her head but wasn't successful in escaping though, because the girl have gotten her hands on it with the speed of a Chaser. Oh Merlin, the castle is going to learn what havoc really means if she ever got sugar-high. Her arms moved around as fast as humanly possible, trying to stuff as much delicious-looking sweets in her various pockets as she could. "This is, like, the best day of my life! I love magic!" She squealed, showing her inner child for once. Yep, she sure does love doing magic and getting to fly around on brooms without either Manami or Rose shouting precautions.

Candy rain, WOOT!

Fyo was carrying a bat in one hand, and holding his broomstick with the other but, all the same, the third year risked taking the latter off his broom to swipe at the candy now raining down upon him. And, ohmygosh, chocolate frogs! Not one, not two, but THREE of them.

And. All. At. Once.

GOSH!

But what was this? One chocolate frog had eluded him, and was now going down, down, down. Was. It. Trying. To. ESCAPE? Well, that wasn't happening, no sirree. Fyo stuffed a small amount of packed, coconut ices in his pockets as, with a speed so fast it amazed even himself, he swooped down into a dive after the BAD chocolate frog.

He. Was. Going. To. Get. It.

Get it, I tell ya!

Vindictus walked over to the crate where the bats were and pulled out his small WWN radio and turned it on. Music started blaring loudly on the practice field and he started to move with the beat. "BEAT IT! BEAT IT!" he started singing as watched the students hit the piñatas.

Not even MANIC eye-pecking birds could distract Plymouth from those three words. Problem was, he was TOTALLY consumed by the words. He let out a bubbly sort of "hehe.." The rabid pinatas could have done whatever they wanted to him, because Plymouth got an Atta boy, Plym!

"ATTA MAN, you mean!" BEAM. GRIN. WIN.

Plymouth wasn't into candy anymore, but he was SO INTO Professor V! So... since his broom only hovered at three feet anyway (thank you, Professor V, again) and Plymouth was all harnessed in - he flew past Professor V a couple of times and danced with him. MOONWALKING. Yep. "HEHE Professor! Can I put my bat down? It's messing with my groove!" Plymouth shimmied past, showing off his moves, once more.

"Hand it to me and I'll break open the parrot for you!" Vindictus called out as he spun around and stood on his toes with his arms in the air. "WOO HOO!"

From her spot far up in the air, Anna could hear the music blasting from some machine the professor had retrieved. BEAT IT! BEAT IT! She found herself singing along and wondering just what awesome Quidditch player had once wrote those made-of-win lyrics. If she wasn't balancing herself with one hand and holding a bat with the other, she'd have given the professor a thumbs up sign or something. With the beat of the music sounding out, Anna dashed excitedly in the direction of the duck pinata.

"Just beat it! Beat it!" she sang out, bobbing her head along to the beat of the catchy beater song. She raised her bat and aimed the tip of it to where it was even with the duck's side. "Just beat it! Beat it!" She flew forward and swung...THWACK! They were just seconds away from that candy...she just knew it!!!

Aaron slowed down and looked back to see that the ducky layed broken on the ground. Woot, woot!!! He swooped down and landed next to his broken ducky picking up candy.

Let's see, licorice wand, chocolate frog... Another chocolate frog, pepperment toad, **Gasp!!!** CAULDRON CAKES!!! Yes!!! He pocketed his candy and then flew back up into the air again. He looked around for another pinata to whack, but for all he could see, they were ll taken. Oh well, you already got a bunch of candy.

Dani laughed at the Professor and Plymouth and flew over to dance with them. She loved to dance. Twirling around on her broom, she swung at the nearest pinata as she danced. Professor V had dancing skillz! She flew closer to the ground, nearer to Plym and reached out a hand. "Dance with me?" A smile lit up her face, she felt like she was making friends, which was generally rather hard for her. But music helped.

Chris was so happy about this lesson. The music was great, he got to hit things and there was candy!

He flew close to one of the remaing pinatas and hit as hard as he could. It was ready to bust and with one hard hit from Chris's beater bat, a new cloud of candy rained down on the dancing students and Professor Vindictus. He landed nearby grabbing some candy and enjoying the music with the others.

Then the music suddenly stopped, and the pinatas and candy vanished from the practice area. "That's it! Please place your broomsticks on the rack and the Beater's bats in the crate, and you're all excused," Vindictus said after realizing his lesson went well over its allotted time. Why his timer on the bench was flashing red and was starting to emit red sparks.

Lucy looked down at Professor Vindictus and sighed as he yelled that class was over. Flying down to the ground, she landed softly and dismounted the broomstick she was riding, walking over to the rack and setting it down. She returned the beaters bat to its crate and grabbed her things. "Bye professor! Great lesson." She said waving good bye.

Aaron sighed, he was having such a fun time. He swooped down near the rack and dismounted his broom. He put it on the rack and then placed his beaters bat in the crate. Awesome. He then tok out his sweets and counted all of it up. Ok, the cauldron cakes are for me, the rest is for Iris. As he was walking out of the pitch he said to professor V, "Have a good day, Professor!" He then decided to go up to the common room.

Awwwwwwww. She had been having so much fun! Sighing, she flew over to the rack and dismounted. She placed her broom on the rack and then put her bat in the box. Then she walked over to Professor V. "That was fun. Congrats on the new brooms." She added the last part as she remembered his last lesson and it's disasterous ending.
