Lacey walked down the corridor of the scarlet train, looking for a compartment. She soon found an empty one and threw herself on the seat once she opened the door. She left the door open just incase no one could find an empty compartment. She dug through her tiny backpack that carried all the things she needed for her trip to Hogwarts, a book, her iPod, cell phone, and her laptop. She pulled out her iPod. The song filled her ears and she blocked everything else out. She closed her eyes and just listened to her music.

Lyra looked at the augurey "awww cute" she said and grabbed her own two cages. She took out her owl and raven and they sat quietly on the couch as though curious what was happening. "this is Daisuke" Lyra said and pointed at the spotted owl. "he's a bit crazy, nah he's not crazy but only when he has to deliver a package" she said and petted her owl. "And this here is, Kira" she now pointed at the black raven. "he's very intelligent and curious, my mum didn't really like it at first i bought a raven, she said that they don't listen very well, but i have no idea what she's on about, Kira listens very good to me, maybe it just listens to the first person that buys him" she said shrugging and grabbed her bag and took out some food for her pets, "What's your favorite class at school? Defence against the Dark Arts?" she asked, guessing from what he wanted to be when he left school.

isabella walked through the train and found an empty compartment. it was difficult to find one. she was just in time for the train to leave and most of the compartments were already full. she heaved her bag below her seat and sat at the window seat. she thought about the Ravenclaw girl who she met sometime back in the Diagon Alley, "what was her name?"
"yeah, Laura. where must she be right now?"
"maybe with her other friends," she thought and looked out of the window.

Wandering through the train Blossom came across not many compartments with a few people in them. She wanted a bit of quiet but not a whole lot of it then she saw Becca, a second year Ravenclaw like her in a compartment alone. "Hi,I am Blossom Fineheart well my real name is Buffy but I go by Blossom and well we didn't get to speak much last term but I am a Ravenclaw 2nd year too and would you like to be my friend?" Blossom asked politely. "I don't have many friends." She added on the end. She sat down in a seat as she waited for Becca to reply.

Thomas woke- up from his sleep he looked outside the window and saw that the train is already going to Hogwarts. He saw that Victoria was talking to another girl. Thomas said to the girl, "Hello I'm Thomas." After he said that he was getting kind of hungry so he got out of the compartment and went to the food trolley.

"hey, you're awake. I'm Juliette but Jule's better." she said. After that she saw Thomas get up and leave the sompartment. She guessed he was going to the food trolley.

When Thomas got back he said to the girl that he met right now, "Hi, Jule how are you?"

Jule saw Thomas walk back into the compartment. "I'm fine. just a bit tired and nervous." she responded.

"So, it's a pleasure to meet you" said Thomas not knowing what to say, "Do you er.. want some Berti Blotts."

"Likeiwise Thomas." she said. "Sure. I'll try to ave at least something in my stomach." Jule then carefully picked up a yellow one. She bit a piece off and spitted out on the floor. "Eww gross! that was earwax." she said and tried to get rid of the taste.

Thomas laughed quietly so he won't wake Victoria. "Okay now it's my turn to try one," said Thomas with a smile. He took two red beans but one had yellow spots on it. He popped them into his mouth and the taste was horrible. It was a mixture of chilly and pepper it was disgusting. He said to Jule with a funny face, "Chilly and pepper the worst combination ever. It feels like steam is going out of my ears."

"eww. that's nasty." she joked. "My dad would love those type, i'm sure." she smiled.

"I think this more nasty then vomit and earwax together!!!" said Thomas coughing."So," said Thomas laughing, "If your dad will like this I most be a lemon."

"hehe. no. my dad will practically eat anything. yet he stays so thin." said Jule.

"I wish I could eat everything, I'll have a much much easier life," said Thomas in sarcastic voice, popping a black bean into his mouth, "Yum, liquorish."

"That's true. Oh yea, the boy gets licorice and i end up with ear wax, nice." said Jule sarcastically and joking

"Well my told me all the time your clumsy but lucky," said Thomas rolling his eyes. "Lets, see," said Thomas looking into the box with beans, "I'll try this white one," Thomas took two white beans and popped them into his mouth. "Yuck" said Thomas opening the window and spitting it out, "It's coconut."

"Wow. I maybe have hispanic but i still don't like coconut. Whenever mum make a coconut cake, i scrape the shavings off." she joked. "She always get mad at me for that. then again she's always mad at me, ehh."

Jule returnd from the food trolley with 3 pumpkin pastries and 3 licorice wands. "would you like one?" she offered thomas. She was about to offer one to Victoria but she was still sleeping.

Victoria woke up "Are we there yet?" She smiled at Thomas and said "I would love one Jules".

"Hey sleepy head. not yet. Here you go. Thought you might want something to eat when you woke up." she said to Victoria and smiled.

She takes the pumpkin pastry and a licorice wand "Thanks Jules, that was so kind of you".

"Anytime. Maybe that's what sets me apart from the rest of my family." she shurgs.

She smiles at her two new friends and starts to eat her pastry. "This is delicious!"

"Glad to hear it." smiles Jule. She leans on the window and looks outside. She starts thinking about the horrible things her family's told her and her eyes turn red.

"Are you ok?" she saw that jules looks like she is going to cry.
