"why? he is so cute," said Isabella and walked where Laura was jumping up and down. she walked and stood near her.
"what's his name?" she asked sweetly

"Lasca? Does that mean you'll keep it a secret?" Lacey asked her new friend. She knew what they were all thinking, 'Marriage? She's only fifteen.' Lacey knew she wanted to marry Alex, she missed him dearly. She smiled to herself thinking of her memory when he proposed. All of a sudden, Lacey's phone went off. The ringtone was Alex's, for whenever he texted or sent her picture mail to her. She serched her bag, franticaly, looking for her phone. By the time she found it all the stuff in her bag had been dumped onto the floor. She sat there looking for it in the mess of gum, gum wrappers, a sandwich (which she did not know she had), her computer, iPod, paper, and other things. She found her phone next to her iPod. She flipped it open and read the text. It was a line from Hamlet, her favorite play, : "To be, or not to be: that is the question." It read. She giggled softly and smilled. There was anttachment to it to. She clicked it and bursted out laughing. It was a video of all her best friends. They were making a video to show them that they missed her. They were all yelling at each other and running around like maniacs. They had que card saying 'HAVE A GREAT YEAR! WE MISS YOU!' Lacey couldn't stop laughing, she knew at one point they were going to want ot know what she was laughing at. At the end of the video, it showed all of her friends and family holding up cards spelling out 'UR GOING 2 DO GREAT ON UR O.W.LS! WE LOVE YOU!' Lacey felt a single tear fall down her face and she wiped it away. She was happy that they did that for her. She was still laughing hystarically at them, though.

Grabbing the spell book, Laura muttered a spell to get the owl poo out of her hair. Then she nudged the owl awake and back into his cage. "Godric," she said in reply to Isabella's question. "And he's not cute, he's a nutcase." She looked up at Isabellas face and burst out laughing. "I guess he can be cute when he wants to be." she admitted. She got on really well with Isabella, thay were becoming great friends.

Turning arond to put Godrics cage away, she spotted Jule. Walking over, sh put a hand on her shoulder and muttered softly, "How're you feeling?"

Well,Becca yawned. I'm going to try to get to sleep for a bit, Blossom. I didn't sleep last night because I was so frantic trying to get all of my things together. Somehow, every year, I manage to check everything off and then I get a parcel the next day from my mom telling me that I had forgotten something.Wonder what it was this year Becca said shaking her head as she grabbed her bag that sat on the floor by her feet and pulled out Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin , flipped to the page whose corner was dog-earred and began to read. "The village of Longbourn was only one mile from Meryton; a most convinient distance for these young ladies, who were usually..." and hadn't yet finished the sentence when she feel asleep.

"M'kay..." Melanie agreed, trailing off, a bit disappointed, but still excited to be holding her other pet, Vimto. Melanie frowned slightly at her inquiry. "Nope...I wish I had an owl though." she answered, longingly. An owl would be so nice to send letters to her family, even if she could use the school owls during terms, but in between during summer or winter break she wished she could have an owl to write to her friends. Last summer she hadn't sent so many letters...

Momo stretched backward a bit preparing to pounce on the unsesspecting little yellow creature...

Isabella giggled as she saw Laura clean her hair and shrugged as Laura laughed, "he surely can be," she said and looked at Jule as Laura muttered "how are you feeling?" Isabella looked concerned too.

She knew that her and Thomas probably wouldn't get together until they are older. "I am getting excited yet".

Still keeping her widened eyes on Lacey, Mariel nodded solemnly at the older girls words. She still didn't completely understand the situation, but something about how Lacey was speaking told the Ravenclaw that she wasn't comfortable in divulging any more. And the girl was fifteen by Mariel's calculation, a little over a year older than the third year who would turn fourteen in a week. Too young to be thinking of marriage in Mariel's opinion, but she didn't voice her thoughts so as not to appear judgemental. Besides, that was three years away, which seemed like forever. And, the girl was trusting her with a big secret. How cool was that? Mariel was really good at that sort of thing and would never tell as long as she wasn't meant to.

Turning back to Dani, Mariel nodded with a smile. "Well, then you should try out to be a Chaser, if that's what you want to do." Really, everyone with any inkling to play at all should be encouraged to try out, and certainly not discouraged. Nodding once again as the younger girl talked about the sorting, Mariel said, "Really, all the Houses have something great about them... although I think Ravenclaw is the best." Grinning she added, "I may be biased there." Frowning slightly at the mention of the green and silver house, she wanted to clear up any bad reputation the girl might have heard they had. "Actually Slytherin's a pretty cool House," she said. "Most of my family was sorted into Slytherin, and if I couldn't be in Ravenclaw, I'd want to be there." Noticing a wink that Dani gave to Nate, the third year glanced over at the boy. Was he in Slytherin? Is that what the wink was about or was it the pranking thing as Lasca mentioned? Shrugging to herself, she decide not to overanalyze it because it wasn't at all important.

At Lasca's words, Mariel nodded in agreement. "She's right. There are people like that in every House." At least she thought. She didn't really remember many pranks - other than the incident in Potions class - during her short tenure at the school, but maybe she hadn't been paying attention. At any rate, she had bought a few - innocent - things at WWW that she was dying to try out. She had to surpress a laugh thinking about it.

Noticing Lasca looking out the window, Mariel's attention drifted out there as well, when the sounds of the opening door and a familiar voice snapped her out of her thoughts. "Sarah! Of course we're not avoiding you... sit," she exclaimed with a wide grin as the Hufflepuff girl stepped inside and sat down next to her. "Where have you been?" she asked. They were nearly there and it had taken here that long to catch up with Lasca and she had barely seen anyone else that she knew.

She waited until Sarah introduced herself then happily took a few of the offered sweets. "Boiled sweets?" she asked tentatively. Mariel had never heard of such a thing, but they were candy, so they had to be good. Right? And even though she had just visited the lunch trolley and still had a couple chocolate frogs in her pocket, Mariel was never one to turn down an offer of sugar. "Thanks," she told Sarah with a grin.

The nearly fourteen year old merely shrugged when Sarah asked what she had missed for she had asked that question herself not ten minutes ago. "I actually just got here myself," she answered, which was why she did not feel it appropriate to introduce Sarah to everyone having only met them moments before. She was sure Lasca would do the honors or they would introduce themselves. "I was in a different compartment, then I... um, was at the lunch trolley for a little while," she tried to explain. "We started talking a little bit about Quidditch," she offered, not mentioning Lacey's secret. "And then you showed up..."

Noticing Isabellas look of concern, Laura turned slightly. "She's not been feeling well," she explained out of the corner of her mouth. "Thats whay Thomas gave her his water bottle. I think she might just be travel sick, but I might take her up to the nurse when we get there."

"oh,"said Isabella quitely and went and sat next to Jule
'um...Jule...did you eat anything before coming? why dont you eat some sweet maybe that should help you a bit"

"Does anyone have a mint, I normally suck one when I have travel sickness" she said.

"im feeling better, thanks. I think my stomach just got upset but i'll be ok." she smiled.

Isabella looked at Jule once more because she could hardly find that Jule was fine. but she tried to distract everyone and Jule too so that she would stop thinking about her stomach upset, "so are you anyone up for quidditch this year?" she asked

Nate couldnt help but to laugh at this girl Mariel. She was a ball full of energy it seemed. "My real name is Nathan but i dont like it.. too.. proper for me so i go by Nate. I think it fits a little better to be honest." he said with a smile and started twirling his wand once more.

The conversation turned to Quidditch and Nate nodded. he liked playing but just not on a team. He preferred it better that way. "I play beater.. or well i play better when i play. Im not a team kinda player. I just randomly play when i feel like it" he said nodding. It was true. Scheduled and practice after pracite.. not his style.

Fiance? Had Nate really just heard that. His eyes went directly to lacey as she started talking abtou her fiance. Goodness.. Nate couldnt even imagine himself being marrieed better yet than thinking about it. It was something he would want to do, yes, but at such a young age? She was what.. two years older than him? Impossible! Nate meerl sucked in his breath with a sort of a grimace. There was nothing to be ssiad about it.

His eyes diverted to lasca soon though, they seemed to always do that but he forced them away.. he couldnt be constantly staring at her. They went to Dani wh was sitting quietly in the corner staring out fo the window. Balling up a piece of paper he chucked it at her. "Alright then?" he asked the first year with a smile.

Julie woke up from her nap and wiped the drool from her mouth. She always did that. It couldn't be helped. She looked out the window. No Hogwarts yet. She wondered if Jess was on the train and Via. The only people she has seen so far. Oh well. She stood up and streched and walked out of her compartment to lossen her muscles. She peered in some compartements and waved to the people who saw her. Ahh, lovely to be back.

"Thats good." Laura smiled. "Does anyone know where Thomas went?" she asked looking at Vicky.

She looks out of the window and thinks she can sees Hogwarts. She gets very excited, she turns to Laura "I think he went for a walk".

"we aren't allowed a broom. so we wont be able to ply quidditch." she said to Isabella. "He went to another compartment so i wont puke on him. but he did say he was going to come back.

"well that's the rule, isnt it?.pity first years arent allowed. but i guess it is because we will still be too new to fly super fast like the players do in the matches," she said

"True. but think we can tryout next year."

"We can tryout next year, I am glad you are feeling better Jules" she smiled at her friend.

Isabella nodded her head and looked at Jule to see if she was alright.

"Thanks. I appreciate the concerns." she smiled back.

Isabella smiled and she got back to reading her hogwarts A history book.

"That's ok Jules, I wonder if I should go and find Thomas" she looks round at the door
