Mariel frowned slightly at Dani's words. "Your friend Ari doesn't know what she's talking about. Some of the best Seekers are the smallest ones. And my Captain... she's quite a small girl, even though she's older, and she's the best Beater in the whole school. It doesn't matter your size... If you want to play then you should try out. What position do you like?"

She watched her for a moment before adding, "What House are you hoping to get in?" With any luck this girl was a decent Quidditch player and would get sorted into Ravenclaw. Her House could always use good players... as long as she wasn't competing for her position. But even a little healthy competition was a good thing. Mariel smiled at the thought of getting back out on the pitch.

Mariel's eye's quickly snapped to Lacey in surprise. "Fiance?" she repeated slowly. That was like a boyfriend who you were soon marrying, right? The third year stared at the older girl for a moment in disbelief as Lacey starting acting all fidgety. Apparently the girl was uncomfortable talking about it especially since she trailed off and didn't answer the questions Mariel had asked. But the girl couldn't be much older then the Ravenclaw and Mariel wasn't even interested in boys - at least not admitting that she was. She couldn't fathom already thinking of marriage. Biting her lower lip, she decided to proceed slowly - at least somewhat. "So, er, you're getting married?"

"Yes, in three years though, when I'm 18. My aunt knew my mother and father wouldn't have it any other way." Lacey said calming down. "What was just said in this compartment stays in this compartment." Lacey said to everyone, not in a threatining way at the most.

Kobie walked around looking for a seat. She finally found one and sat down by herself. She looked around, not knowing anyone was going to be hard for her. She sighed and looked out the window.

Dani smiled, "Really? I want to be a chaser." She thought about being able to play Quidditch. She'd have to get over that fear of heights first. The girl asked what House she wanted to be in and Dani shrugged. "I don't really care what House I get sorted into. I don't think I'd like to be a Slytherin though. Too many extra chances to find myself pranked." She winked at Nate. She knew she'd do her best no matter what House she was in.

Christine's feet were throbbing. She has been running around since she boarded the Hogwarts Express. She just needed to sit down for a while. She walked by a compartment that only had one person in it. Finally she thought to herself, finding a compartment that wasn't so crowded. Hey do you mind if I sit in here? Christine asked the girl as she was taking a seat across from her. Christine sat down with a huff, her feet thankful for the break.

Kobie looked up as she saw a girl enter the room, she smiled.
"No, of course not, I'm Kobie" she said. Hoping she wouldn't make a fool of herself at the very start of the year.

Christine took off her sneaker and started to rub her foot. It look like it was twice the size as normal. Christine looked up at the girl who introduced herself. Kobie.... huh that is a different name she thought to herself. Im Christine, it's nice to meet you she said as she continued to rub her foot.

Kobie smiled. She looked at the girls feet. They seemed a little swollen to her.
"Nice to meet you to, what year are you in?"she asked, not wanting to be rude. She continued watching Christine rub her feet, they looked fairly painful.

I'm a fifth year, Hufflepuff she told her proudly. Christine reached into her bag and pulled out some chocolate frogs that she had just bought. She was extremely hungry. She shoved one in her mouth and started to chew. Hey would you like some? she asked a little muffled with the chocolate frog in her mouth.

As Cedric entered he noticed Lucy who calls Gabben."Lucy,where were you this vacation,I'm searching to all of you guys at the Diagon alley."Cedric said then he noticed that Gabben entered the compartment.
"Gabben,How are you?"Cedric asked Gabben happily.He totally missed Gabben because he look at Gabben as his own brother.He was so sad because he doesn't have a sibling but he found a siblings in the person of his friends

Kobie nodded. She smiled as she saw the chocolate frogs, she was starving.
"Yes, thanks, so what's this school like?' she asked. She had been trying to picture the school in her head for ages now, but was still coming up blank.

Victoria wake up and realised that they must be near Hogwarts now, she looked round to see the others asleep.

Jule woke up from her sleep. She looked outside to see if hogwarts was in sight.

She saw that Jules was awake and said "We must be near hogwarts now, I am hungry and my legs are cramping".

"Me too. Dude I seriously feel like we're going to take classes on this train." she joked.

She laughed and looked at Thomas, she was still worried about him. "Do you want a bertie bott?"

She caught a glimpse of Vicky looking at Thomas. Jules eyes began to turn purpleish. "Sure." she answered Vicky. She carefully picked one out. She remenered she'd gotten earwax when Thomas offered her some last time. She finally picked out a blue one and took a bite. "Blueberry!" she said.

Thomas nose bleed stopped. He looked out of the window and he thought that they were almost there. He Vicy, "Oi, Vic how long was I asleep?"

"for about a few hours." said Jule. "I think vicky went back to sleep. But I have a question for you. Why does your nose bleed?"

"My father and I have many nose bleeds attacks, so I think it runs in the blood?" said Thomas as a suggestion.

Jule gigglrd. "its possible. My mother's side of the family most have diabetes so its a possibility I can get it too."

Ivy began to gather her things, 'Hogwarts must be in sight by now!!' she thought as she took her robes from the trunk and wriggled as she slipped them over her head.

"Hamlet, where are you kitty-kits?" The gray tabby slinked from beneath the bench seat and stretched in the lamplight of the car. "You silly critter," she said as she picked him up and placed him into his traveling basket.

Giggling slightly at the first years comment, she couldn't help but shake her head. "I hate to tell you, but there are... prankers?" Okay so she was still learning the slang words and didn't have all of them down. At least her accent wasn't as thick. Right? "Anyway, there are people in every house that play jokes."

She remembered last term with Peeves during Potions, where she had ended up in the Hospital Wing. The large duel between herself a couple other students during DADA where she had ended up with her bones disappearing. And then there was the incident with Kevin but that was a different story. Smiling at the memory, she brought herself back to the conversation.

She noticed Lacey messing with a necklace and heard the word fiance. Weird. Granted she was two years older, but Lasca still didn't think she was going to be ready for marriage by then. Her interest in guys has certainly gone up, at least when Nate is around, but marriage? Not for a while!

The Gryffindor then expressed the need for discretion and of course Lasca would give it. Lacey had become a fast friend along with Dani and Nate and she would never break a friends confidence.

Glancing out the window, she tried to judge their progress once more. It seemed to be getting darker outside which meant that they were close. Her stomach growled and she grinned. She hoped they were close.

Laura shook herself and sighed. She had wanted to save her appetite for the feast, but she was soooo HUNGRY! Feeling in the mood for some chocolate frogs, she said "See you in a bit" to Jule, Victoria, Isabella and Thomas, she left the compartment in search of the food trolley.

As she was walking past the other compartments, she heard a voice coming from one that she thought was empty. Peering in, she saw a girl talking to the most beautiful tabby cat she'd ever seen. She stood at the door and, unable contain her excitment at seeing the cat, she squealed with glee.
"Oh, your cat is soo beautiful!" Laura said. Then, realising she sounded a bit rude, she hurridly added "I'm Laura, by the way."

Thomas left the compartment and went to the food trolley. He thought that maybe he sneak up to Hogwarts a couple of snacks. So he got of the soft chair in the compartment opened the door and left.
