"Neither do slightly decomposed corpses I suppose." Ethan answered a little cautiously, swaying slightly with the gentle movement of the lily pad. He wasn't exactly brilliant and reading women unless it was in a duel and usually by that point the fact that they were women was no longer the most important consideration.

Grace just stopped breathing when she heard Aaron had some feeling for Iris. How couldn't she realise this before? Seriously though, it was odd of her not to realise... But then again, she was with Lyra more, and Aaron never did a public display of affection around her. Against all her "every boy'd choose me" arrogance which led her to huge disappointment now, she wanted to see her friends happy before she left the school, and she wanted to encourage Aaron. Suddenly jumping in their talk, she said "Aaron I think you should ask Iris out if you have some strong feelings... Before it's too late, y'know." Actually, no one had heard her news yet, so adding 'y'know' sounded a bit naughty. But she wouldn't just say it, her friends'd have to guess. Arrogant time again, if she could stop her tears, of course. She turned her head to gather the power to hold them.

By then, the water lily --at least she guessed so-- had blossomed. It was really beautiful. And Grace cursed herself that she had never fully attended Herbology. Too many things she had missed, now she understood. She just watched it and forgot about her sadness for some time. But then again, she remembered Lyra wasn't here. These were probably her last days and she wasn't here. Stupid tears trying to have their way down her cheeks again. 'Hold them, you're in a class.' Luckily, she could master them. Another moment without them. Yay.

Huh, this Satine gal was a Metamorphose? Whuuuttt? Grace turned to her, eyes as big as bricks. "Are you a metamorphose? Or whatever they're called." she added quietly and continued her question with even more interest. "Like, literally literal? Wow!" It was a huge "wow!", for she was a genius and furthermore a metamorphose! How could Grace never meet her? Sigh, another thing she'd missed to do.

Kevin hugged Victoria and smiled when she said she loved him he was a lot more cheerful now than what he had been earlier this was a party and he had to enjoy himself no matter what and he looked about to see if there were any more people he could make friends with

Victoria kissed him on the cheek and grabbed his hand, "I am getting a drink want one?"

Kevin smiled and said "Sure Vicky i would love a drink, just surprise me i will drink anything" Kevin knew it was true he always drank anything

Victoria walked up to the drinks table and grabbed two butterbeers, she walked back to Kevin. "I got you a butterbeer, is that ok?"

Kevin smiled and said "Butterbeer is fine Vicky thank you so much and your a wonderful girlfriend"

"Good and you are a great boyfriend" she smiled at him and kissed him on the cheek.

Kevin blushed and grabbed Vicky's free hand and said to her "I dont know what i would have done if i hadnt have met you Vicky"

"I know, I wish that you was in Ravenclaw!" she pulled him closer to him and listened to his heart beating.

Kevin nodded and said "Yeah it is difficult with us being in different houses but we will make it work this time" Kevin had to be sure to make it work he was not wanting to lose Vicky and break her heart like he did earlier

"You could try and move to ravenclaw, I never want to lose you again!" she loved being close to him.

Kevin sighed and said "I could try but i think once your sorted that is your house for life" Kevin loved being in Slytherin and he knew that the sorting could never be changed once your in a house

"Plus you play for the slytherin quidditch team" she smiled at him, "Will we be together forever?"

Kevin nodded and said "Yeah we will be together forever Vicky i will see about that even though i am going to graduate a year before you are"

She had forgot that Kevin is a year older than her "I know that I will have a year without you or we get our own place together. You will have to owl me every day!"

Kevin smiled and said "Of course i will owl you everyday Vicky i will be missing you so much, and we could get our own place one of these days once i have got a really good job"

"Will you work at the ministry? I will miss you too!" she moved, she could feel his body heat next to hers.

Kevin thought and said "Probably not, i will probably go into playing qudditch professionly" Kevin always wanted to do the same as what his father was and he knew that qudditch was very important to his father

"So I am going to be dating a celebrity" she laughed, she kissed him on the cheek.

Kevin giggled and said "Yeah but i am sure you wont mind that one bit Vicky" Kevin was happy and very happy with Vicky and he hoped that wouldnt break Vicky's heart again

"I would love to be a celebrity girlfriend and maybe later on wife" she giggled. She was so happy to be back in his arms and never wanted to leave them again.

O the secrecy of this conversation intrigued Satine, she leaned in, "Whatever you need Jule just let me know." she said with a little salute over her eye.

"O I would love to help you study," she said as she felt her cheeks turn red, but she covered it up by bringing attention the lily, "Wow, it sure is...well...pink..." as she turned her head to look at it she continued on. "I know it really is hard to find someone who likes school work. My mom works in the Department of Education so she always instilled in me the importance of learning and such...and sadly I haven't found many firsties that see that importance over all the lovey dovey stuff....and at eleven...Ugh..." she finished with a grimace...there had just been too much I love you's in the firstie class for her. She didn't have a problem flirting but come one who falls in love at eleven...she pushed those thoughts away and again focused on the older students.


"Yah, I'm gonna miss theme too. I really look up to Anna and Lyra. I mean they are near perfect in my eyes." she said kind of dreamily looking in their direction...what role models she thought.



Satine turned to look at the girl and shook her head as she gave her opinion on Aaron and Iris. She had to agree for the most part as long as they didn't go all I love you smoochie smoochie on her at age eleven.....

"Well I'm not a complete metamorphose...or atleast I don't think I am....I my hair and eyes can change and I learned this year how to control them with my moods because at the first of the year if I got embarrassed, they would turn red or pink...kind of hard to explain to new peeps...you know..." she said with a smile...she always hated when someone made a big deal out of it...it was kind of embarrassing when peeps noticed....and she hated bringing attention to it.

Kevin giggled and said "Hmm i can see what we can do about the wife part" Kevin was so happy with Vicky that he could see them getting married in the future because he thought in his mind that they were a very cute couple and basically he would do anything to keep her in his arms

Victoria is feeling tired, "I am going to bed!" she yawned but she wanted to stay where she is. She kissed him on the cheek and started to walk towards the castle.
