Staring at him briefly, Daphne turned her head, left brow raised in annoyance. "You're not funny." Plymouth Morgan had better watch his back. He was going to get it.

"I'm very funny, Daphne Hopton. Watch... watch this... Daphne loves Copernicus!" Last time he'd even MENTIONED Copernicus, she'd laughed her cutey little head off.

And Plymouth had loved it.


... and he still would, despite Nicolai Toussaint.

That. Was. Really. Not. Funny.

At least not this time around. Taking in a deep hissing breath, Daphne punished her bottom lip between her teeth severely. Anything to keep herself from hollering at Plymouth Morgan. "Hilarious, Morgan," she quipped with pursed lips. "You should pick up stand-up comedy. Go on the road. Tour!"

Hopton had a feeling Plymouth would enjoy that.

As Theo's head collided with the floor, he may have been dropped or just placed, but his head would still have banged, he awoke from his stupor. He blinked. "Wha? What happened? Where is the Wolf Lady? Where am I?" he started. He was completely confused. All he remembered was the wolf and then he fell.

"But then you'd miss me, Daphadil, " Plymouth winked back at her. Hah. He circled her once, then again in the other direction. It's possible he was planning a pounce. Possible. Likely, even. "Wouldn't you?"

Trapped, Daphne had to stop walking to raise a curious brow at her date. "What are you doing?" she inquired baffled by his behavior. Not that she wasn't always baffled by Morgan's behavior.

It was just simply The Plymouth Morgan way to be.

"And yes, possibly, maybe, I could miss you a little or a lot. I won't know until it happens."

"Nothing," Plymouth grinned. "Noooothing. But this - " Plymouth RAN at her, picked her up, and threw Daphne Hopton over his one shoulder. Then, he started towards the stairs. He kept her little dress smoothed down and bounced with each step.

"I reckon I'll just have to leave for a while then. For... experimental purposes."

Oh, Merlin, Circe, Trelawney of the Not-So-Seeing Eye! Why WAS SHE ON PLYMOUTH MORGAN'S SHOULDER? Words, had left her so she just hanged there, nails trying to bite into the boy's skin.

"Hehe," Plymouth bounced bounce bounced. He even tipped his imaginary hat (That'd he'd SO wear next time for Daphne) at the imaginary people in the hall. Nothing to see here folks! Just carrying me Daphadil up to her Common Room.


"Will you let me know when you start to miss me? I'll leave Farrah Ferret with you and you can send her back when you feel the first Plymouthless Pangs of longing."

All she could do was scrunch up her nose at that. "If you don't drop me, I might," she promised, watching the world upside down with a disgruntled look on her red face. "So...yes, don't drop me."

Or you're dead!

"I -" Plymouth swung Daphne around so that she was in his arms, like he was carrying a baby. " - would never drop you. Never." The idea of him dropping her was ludicrous and not worth another second's thought. "I like that you're itty bitty. I can just toss you around like a sack of potatoes. The hobos used to carry around bags of potatoes. You're MY bag of potatoes, Daphne Hopton. Hehe!"

Unfortunately, Daphne lost her cool and a yelp escaped her as she stopped being upside down and found herself in Plymouth's arms. "Errrm," she stammered wiggling her fingers nervously. There he went, again, mentioning hobos. Rolling her eyes, Daphne threw her head back to avoid having to look at him.

Hobos? He was comparing her to a Hobo's sack of potatoes? How lovely! "I am so...pleased. I'm glad. I'd...be your sack of potatoes any day."

Or something. Cue eye roll.

Iris started to made her way up the stairs with her letter, heading towards the seventh floor to the owlery, but then decided that the letter could wait. She hadn't spoken to Satine for a while... I wonder where she would be?

There was a mumbling of inconexed questions before a head, tilted and staring at him curiously, came from behind the stony border of the main stairs. The head belonged to a girl.

"You are awake," she stated rather than asked. "Everybody is gone from the Great Hall. I checked." She lowered herself to kneel besides him, and asked, "how many fingers am I holding?" (she held three,) as if he was disoriented.

"I don't remember being asleep," Theo frowned. Frowning made his head hurt. His head really hurt. He sat up slightly, propping himself on his hands. He saw the girl before him. It was the one he met on the train. She wasn't very nice to him. But she was nice now. "Why am I not in the Great Hall? What happened?" He shook his head slightly, "Five?"

Diane put a tiny hand on his forehead, and then forced his head, albeit gently, back down to lay on the floor again.

She offered no explanation for her actions. "Would you prefer being asleep in the Great Hall?" she, however, asked, looking puzzled. "But,"

She moved closer, still crouching down; she reached for the sides of his face, and then pressed one finger each on his cheeks and said, "It's better if you don't sleep so, I'll keep you awake." Then pulled from his cheek. "If you stay like that, you will look like a baby mermen."

And so he did.

"How far do you remember?" she asked then. "The Ancient Runes Professor changed into a werewolf. Then she tried to eat us, the cage failed and the nurse fought it," she enumerated quite plainly.

"Did I fall asleep?" Theo frowned. He felt his head go back. It was a weird sensation. He knew he was going back but couldn't really feel it. Maybe he felt numb.

"I don't want to be a merman. I want to be a Theo," he frowned. He was a Theo right?

"She was a wolf, and then I fell over. That was it," he nodded. "Did she eat people?"

"Oh yes, but then she puked them all out," Diane lied shamelessly. "But don't worry," she went on, "I hear werewolf slobber is good for the pimples."

She patted him on the forehead, twice. "But don't try to get into a werewolf mouth again, okay?" she said gently reprimanding him, ah, but with a tone like it was for something like playing with a dirty toy.

Of course, it did not even happen. So it was all just a pointless exercise. To make matters more exasperating, it was not something Theo could have helped in the first place. Poor little fellow.

Thomas walked into the entrance hall yawning. He never payed a lot of attention to this part of the castle. He wondered around the hall for a while, and he looked at the stairs to the Dungeon and to the grand staircase. He decided after two minutes to enter the Great Hall.
