Atticus grinned up at Masterson, his chest heaving from the run. As Roma approached him, Atticus grinned even wider-if that was possible. "Hiya!" he gasped whilst petting the dog gently. So gently in fact that she probably didn't even feel it. He looked back at the Groudskeeper and nodded fervently. He still didn't know him that well, so he didn't say much in reply. As Roma left him, he raised his head to see....Enormous bag!!! He gasped, goggling at the Intern Healer underneath the load. How...was that even possible? He was going to help, but then saw that Roma had it covered. In fur. He goggled some more. |
SPOILER!!: "This is his guitar, look," Kiri said to Vanessa and pointed - unnecessarily - at the guitar in her lap. "He's been playing for eight years! And he can play the piano, too." She stopped as Emiliano began explaining about how he learned to play the guitar. Kiri was even more fascinated than before. He hadn't just learned two instruments, one of them had been taught to him by a Bulgarian instructor! She remembered vaguely that Emiliano had once explained to her how he and his family were always on the move all over the world, but the glimpses she got into this reality - such as a Bulgarian guitar teacher - only added to the story. It sounded like a constant adventure. The good kind of adventure. "I'd love to learn it," she said to both of them, then, turning to Emiliano, added, "I'm not sure why my parents might not let me. Actually, maybe they would." She shrugged unconcernedly. Right now, it didn't even seem to matter much. "I don't think I've ever really asked. Maybe I will when I'm back home. Oh, hold on, Vanessa..." The girl was unpacking her sleeping back. Kiri, working around the guitar, pushed her bag out of the way to make room for Vanessa, happy that the Hufflepuff girl had apparently decided to set up camp next to Kiri. Now she wouldn't be lonely. "Are you going to stay here?" she asked. "Where's, er, Miles? Is he studying for the exams? Karma has... erm sorry, she's a friend of Emiliano's", Kiri interrupted herself to explain, "Karma isn't here tonight either because she's revising." |

Duhhh. AND HE WAS POKETH'D. He poked BACK, again. He poked not once but three times in total in the same spot he previously poked her. "YES! She is a CANNIBAL," he blurted out, loud enough for others to hear around him, "yes, she feaaaasts on men--her plants told me, I talked to them and all." Lie, again? But he was talking to a certain lot of plants these days. So... half-lie. Half-lie. "And noooo, hobos getting these jobs aren't a guuuud thing. 'Tis all bad. The world will end. 4 days from now. Apocalypse. APOCALYPSEEEEE!" He twitched. And then he saw... the nurse? Carrying a BIIIIG bag. PRESENTS?! "It's Santa. It's SANTAA LIVVY!" If only she had a beard. |

His ears burned under his hair, he could feel them growing very warm, but he wasn't about to call attention to them. Instead, he drew one of the big blankets that Neo had supplied around his shoulders. He could pretend to hide his head because he was getting chilly! |

SPOILER!!: Phil's post "Ooh...you play the guitar? Thats awesome." Vanessa nodded with a smile, glancing up at Emilino. "I play the bass." She added, thinking of her bass at home. She would be glad to go home and be able to play it again teehe. "And the piano? You talented boy." She grinned, looking up at him. She'd love to hear him play. "You should play tonight....I'll tell Mr. Masterson myself." She instructed, with a smile. Of course it'd be better if he said he'd play. "Yush....I'll even get the likes of Lyra to camp out with you if you want." She giggled. She'd rather they come over to her, than have to leave the loverly Kiri on her own, and surely Kiri could be a pink lady? "I dunno where Miles is..." Vanessa shrugged, although it would be nice if he was down here. "He probably is studying for his exams though." Vannie nodded, knwoing that she probably should be doing that. Ahh well. |

Antonio was surprised to get an invitation to the camping out event. He thought it sounded like fun and a nice way to mingle with the students and fellow staff members, especially after all the tension that had just happened at Hogwarts from the mermaids flooding the castle and more recently, the unfortunate attack on the Headmaster. He had somewhat of an idea of what to bring, toting a large knapsack filled with cans of baked beans, clothing and safety supplies. This should be fun. "Hey Constantine, everyone, I'm here", he greeted. |

SUBJECT CHANGE. "Do you know they expect us to SLEEP in the sleeping bags...on the ground?" Winnie offered. "Why not just tents? If there weren't sweets involved I wouldn't understand at all." |

EEEE! Livvy flinched and pouted as the younger boy poked her THREE times in the same spot. If one poked you in the same spot on your skin continuously... it could cause a BRUIISE! GACK! Livvy didn't want to admit it, but this little puny boy that was like a foot shorter than her... was bullying her. But he was too cute to hold anything against, so she followed suit and poked him three times in the same spot she had poked previously. "SHHHH!!!! Do you HAFTA tell the entire world?" she asked, smirking slightly. Well it'd give a warning to all the boys out there that was infatuated with the Herbology Professor. Livvy raised an eyebrow at what he said next. "Errr.... you talk... to plants?" she asked, not believing it one bit. Yah right. Livvy snorted. An Apocalypse just because some hobos decided they didn't want to be hobo no more and decide they want to make a complete fool out of themselves? That didn't quite make sense. "You're over-exaggerating Cam," she said. Santa? Livvy turned around to look in the direction that Cam was looking and saw that it was Nurse Avalon. Nurse Avalon was Santa? Well she sure looked like Santa, by the way she lugged that BIIIIIGGG sack. Livvy chuckled and shook her head. "Santa comes in Christmas, sweetie. That's just Nurse Avalon lugging an abnormally amount of stuff in that sack of hers, in the manner of Santa Clause." |
Nodding his head under his blanket at Winnie's suggestion, Garret chewed on a wriggling chocolate frog, "Yeh," he said, "S'not like we don't have magic tents that we could conjure up, right?" he popped the whole chocolate frog in his mouth and swallowed before going on, "I don't mind sleepin' on the ground, but for the prissy people like Daff 'ere, well, the tents would've made more sense." He shot her a look that said YES I JUST CALLED YOU PRISSY! |
Camp out sounded great! For someone that had never camped anywhere, it was an exciting experience. It was with a splenderous mood that Eva Longwood greated the groundskeeper: "Hello, Mr. Masterson. How do you do?" she immediately tried to look for people she knew or any other sixth years. She recognized the Hufflepuff Prefect, the prince of... some place she probably didn't know it existed, the school nurse and a few other fellow badgers. She found an empty place near a group of students who seamed to know each other very well and asked the nearest person: "Mind if I stay here?" she asked her her typical good-girl smile. |

That will have to do, she thought as she sighed with her hands on her hips. Walking over to Garret she reached over his shoulder for a roll of blankets. "That's why I'm not sleeping at all," she commented towards Winnie before Garret's words registered with her. Blushing, she swung the roll of blankets enough to knock him on the side of the head before turning around and sprawling them out evenly. Then, she stood up and observed them critically before adjusting them once more. They had to be even. Even enough for her to pretend there wasn't grass and dirt underneath them. "Besides, I'm not a little girl. I don't need to sleep through the entire night." Pointedly, she stared at Garret. Little boy. |

Uh OH!!! Big brainless dog twelve o'clock!!! "Roma NUUuuuuu!" Caroline cried as the horse of a dog lept up on her. And knocked her to the ground. Oh she would get him for this. |
With a flick of the wand, Constantine's large pile of sticks caught on fire. It was finally time for the added light! Now, it was time for the little announcement..or speech. Whateverr. "Students! And Staff," he added, smirking down at Caroline and then giving Dumont a nice smile. "I'm glad to see that you all could come out! I know things have been a little crazy lately in the school and all...but, this is where we get away from it all. I'll be short and sweet with this... "There's plenty of food for everyone! Lots to drink and lots of marshmallows," he chuckled. "Tonight's objective is to have fun and to relax so...have fun!" And with that, he turned and walked to where Roma was. "Good girl," he smiled, pulling Roma away from Avalon and then he offered the healer a helping hand. |

Constantine laughed gently. "No, dear child, you sleep under the stars. Well...you can sleep under the tree if you want...but, it's the same feeling, you know?" |

He hadn't seen her around much since the whole great hall/headmaster incident. He didn't want to think of that much. Instead he pulled his binky closer to him, wrapping it around his shoulders like a shawl. |

She interrupted herself only when the Groundskeeper stepped forward. He waved his wand, and immediately, flames began to creep up the first logs. Within minutes, there was a roaring fire in front of her while the sun, an even more gigantic fire a mere 150 million kilometres away, was disappearing behind the horizon. Overhead, the sky became steadily darker. Kiri listened silently as Mr Masterson gave his little speech. It only lasted a minute or two, luckily. When he was done, the conversations all around Kiri that had been on hold while the Groundskeeper had been speaking started up again. A few people got up to inspect the baskets. There was one a few metres away from Kiri. She was kind of hungry, and this was also the perfect atmosphere for some food! The heat of the fire was noticeable now, warming her face. She turned to Vanessa. "Hey, do you want something to eat? I don't even know what kind of food there is..." |
