After Vanessa had finished laying out the blankets, which looked mightly comfy, she picked up her PINNK sleeping bag, and looked around, trying to spot any of her friends. Ooh. Kiri was over there. Glancing over at Demetria, to make sure she was okay, Vannie walked over to her friend, who seemed to be talking to a boy. "Hey Kiri." She spoke, with a smile. |

"Um... ummmm... hmmmmmmmmmmhmhmhmmm," he said trying to get away from that huggy situation, "Did you know that sea horses are just real horses--in disguise??" He did NOT want to talk about hugging right now because eeeeven if hugging made people happy, he ... didn't know. He stared at her in a blank expression, and having the sudden urge to poke her, he did so, riiiight at her forehead. Random poking. He liked randomly poking, yes! Bunzzz? Herbology Professor? OOOOH. She WOULD approve of him doing this, right? "Well, pffft, s'aaaaall for nature Livveh, because I've recently heard Bunzz was a cannibal--'cause she don't like eating animals probably and she doesn't like eating plants and vegetables too so she feasts on meeeen!!!" Lie, total lie, but he just... felt the NEED to say that, alright? He stared at her... confusingly. GOOD THING? "NUUU. Extinction is BAD. Especially for HOBOOOOOSSS," he gave her a poke again, "see I heard one hobo turned into a professional ice skater and another opened his own ballerina studio!" Hobos should NOT be ice skaters OR ballerina people. HOBOEXTINCTIONBAAAAD. |
Camp out camp out camp out!! The moment Lyra had read the announcement on the board in the Slytherin common room she had rushed outside towards the ground. When she found the place, which wasn't so hard, she walked up to the other students that were already present. Mweh there wasn't anyone who she knew, except for Kiri but she seemed to be talking to someone else so she made her way towards the extra sleeping bags because she didn't have one. Lyra picked one up and looked around. "uh..i can use this one right?" she asked unsure if she could use it, probably could but Lyra didn't wanted to look like she was stealing the sleeping bag.......yet |

He grinned at her and picked up a bean in a violent shade of purple, "Want one?" he offered, kinda hoping she'd decline because then he could discover for himself what this interesting looking bean tasted like. However, he had always been... polite... and would always offer the first sweet to the other person first. Regardless if the sweet in question still bore a piece of lint from his pockets or not. |

It was time to admire the guitar for Kiri. LOL. Curious youngsters. "You should try getting an instructor this summer, even I could be him. Just a warning, I'm a bit too uptight when it comes to music..."He commented and chuckled. "About...eight years ago, I think. As I told you, since I turned ten. During those years, I had to get myself to do something to distract while the summer, and music seemed like the best idea. I started with guitar, but then piano came along and I just fell in love with it." He confessed. Quote:

Atticus ran out to the grounds, his indistinct sleeping bag slung over his shoulder. He was LAAAAAATE!!! He gritted his teeth, the sleeping bag bouncing up and down making it mighty difficult to run without toppling over. All through the flooding of the castle, the fight that ensued and the draining of the castle...Atticus had been out of the picture. More like hiding-being the good little student he was supposed to be. Some Hufflepuff he was. Loyal his foot. Ouch! A very painful foot. Soon he saw the little group huddled out in the grounds. "Mr.Masterson! Mr Masterson!" he puffed. "Sorry I'm late!" With that, Atticus sat down cross-legged a meter in front of the Groundskeeper. |

EEEE!!! Did he just poke her?! How immature. Sniffing at her now bruised forehead, she poked the younger boy's forehead too. HA! "WHUUUTT?? Bunbunz is a cannibal?" Livvy asked, slightly confused. What was going on in that crazy kid's brain? Did he like get dropped on his head when he was a baby? At what Cam said next, Livvy burst out laughing. Bunbunz... feast on men?! Well... she sure attracted a lot of men... and she sure was attracted to a lot of 'em too. "Professor Bunubury feasts on men... Cam? And how would you know?" Did he like see her eat a man? Gah! What's with the random poking? Pouting, Livvy poked the boy back. "Well... soooooorrrryy... well... shouldn't that be a good thing Cam? It's a good thing if they want to be a skater or a ballerina person. Though... hobos and ballerinas and figure skaters don't quite mix," she said, imagining a hobo wearing a tutu. Which then lead her to picturing Cam in a tutu. Livvy smirked and began giggling at the picture in her head. |

SPOILER!!: Quoootes "Woo-ow," said Kiri, mightily impressed. "You can play the piano, too? How long have you been learning that? Do you take lessons in both?" She pressed her finger down on one of the frets (not that she knew that they were called frets) and plucked the string again. It sounded higher now. She let the string vibrate again, but moved her finger up and down the bridge. It was a long way from music, but at least she'd been able to make the guitar produce sounds. "I'd love to learn how to play, but I'm not sure my parents would let me," she confessed with a small sigh. She'd already fallen in love with this instrument. It looked so simple, but it was magnificent. Kiri inspected her finger. Where she'd pressed down, the string had left a dented impression in her soft skin. Clearly, to be able to play the guitar, one had to have a certain tolerance for stuff like that. She looked as her vision became darkened a second time. For a moment, Kiri thought that the sun had finally disappeared behind the hills at the Lake, but it was... a studenty eclipse! "Vanessa!" she said, smiling happily. "Hi! How are you? Want to sit down?" She realised that Emiliano and Vanessa might not even know each other. "Oh, er... Vanessa, that's Emiliano. Emiliano, Vanessa... Hufflepuff prefect. She's a seventh year." |

"Don't fret, Atticus," he laughed, while Roma got up and bounced over to where the kid was. He had been running! She liked runninggg. "Everyone's just getting set up...there's still some sun left, so, pick a place and settle in." |

"No!" he spluttered, turning quite red under his freckles, "You're both mental, that's wot you are!" He snatched up his half-eaten BLT and took a massive bite out of the sandwich, hoping to keep them from talking about awkward things like flirting and all that if they saw that he was busy chewing. Just because She seemed to have decided that She liked boys now didn't mean that everyone else had to give into their hormones. He glared at the She in question as he chewed a little too violently. |
Elizabeth walked out to the grounds, following the voices she could hear up ahead until she found the camp-out. What with all her personal drama involving worrying Robert needlessly over concussions, and the faint rumors she was hearing around school about other things that had gone on, she had almost forgotten noticing the announcement about a camp-out. But there was no way she wanted to miss it, and hopefully either her friends would show up, or she find other people to talk to once she was there. Although, like when she had talked to Torin that last time before the Huffies had gotten their common room back, she kind of felt bad making friends at the end of term when she was leaving. No reason to isolate myself, she thought, plopping her sleeping bag down into a random free spot on the ground then sitting on it. Then, leaning back on her hands, she looked around, smiling at all the people there, as well as Mr. Masterson's dog running around. Hmm, guess it's a good thing Bella didn't manage to sneak out of the common room behind me, she thought. |

"I am very good Kiri." Vanessa nodded with a smile, as she quickly laid down her sleeping bag, and sat down on it, stretching her legs out. As she sat down, she had a quick look around again, wondering where Lyra or Anna were. Surely her pink friends wouldn't be missing this? "Ooh. It's nice to meetyou Emiliano." The prefect smiled as she waved at the boy Kiri was with. |

Cari hauled a HUGE (far too huge to hold JUST a sleeping bag) rucksack on her back, staggering a little under the weight as she made her way into the crowd. Normally she travelled light, except for a few books and her healing supplies. But today she looked positively overloaded with a HUGE BAG OF STUFF. "Constantine!" she called brightly, "I'm heeeeeeeeere!" Snicker. |

He frowned when Kiri mentioned her parents not letting her. "Oh, why not?" He asked, quite sad about it. Quote:

Oh dear heavens above. Justt what he needed. The Healer. And her...large bag...what? "What in the world?" he frowned lightly. "You do know that this is a one night affair, mmm?" He chuckled and crossed his arms across his chest. Whatever, it was her who had to carry it all. "You look like you need help....ROMA," he called with a smile. "Your friend is here! Why don't you go say hi?" Roma perked up at the sound of Caroline's arrival and at Neo's word, she started to run for the Healer. There was a playful bark. And then a pounce. Snicker. |
Kevin wandered down to the camp-out he didnt want to be near mr.masterton but he knew he couldnt hide forever and he really wanted to make more friends as well before the term finished |

Winnie studied them, Garret a mild shade of red and scowling, Daphne wearing her I-am-the-puppet-master-and-I-LOVE-it face. "What's happened to you two? If I didn't know better Daphne, I'd say you were acting JEALOUS. Isn't Garret free to share lint-covered jelly beans with whomever he pleases?" Quote:
"Ohh I see. Well, I'm quite real. And being human, I normally do not pounce or bite." |
