The Camp-Out! Constantine Masterson was busy attending to a rather LARGE pile of wood. He had spent all morning creating a pit and then fire-proofing anything within a 100 ft radius. He was now getting all the wood set up in a tee-pee shape. To a patch of grass off to the side was sitting quite a few baskets of food and LARGE blankets. There were also some extra sleeping bags in case any body forgotten theirs or just didn't have one. Come on up! The party's just about to start! |
Dani ran down to the grounds as fast as she could. She had seen the notice about the camp-out and wouldn't miss it for the world. It was part of her enjoying her last days at Hogwarts. "Mr. Masterson!!!" She exclaimed when she got there. "This is soooo cool!!!" She did a little happy dance. This was going to be so much fun! |
YAY CAMP OUT!!!! Demetria skipped down to the grounds with her sleeping bag in hand to where the camp out was being held. She absolutly looooved camping outside. It was one her favorite summer activities. Yay! As she approached, she noticed she was one of the first few there so far. "Hello, sir." she said to Mr. Masterson. "Beautiful night for a camp out, don't you think? I just love camp outs." |
Jack was not necessarily an outdoorsy kind of guy...bugs scared him and he was allergic to grass. The only time he was ever really outside at night was when he had his telescope with him--but this camp out sounded like it was going to be F-U-N! Hoisting his red sleeping bag a bit more securely under his arm, he waved at the groundskeeper as he approached. "Good evening Mr. Masterson!" he said with a grin. Whoaaa, he was one of the first few people there. Cool! That meant he could get a better spot! He chose a place somewhat close to the fire (fire scared him a bit too) and unrolled his sleeping bag so his bum wouldn't get muddy when he sat on the ground. |
Yeeey. A camp out. This was such a coool way to end her final term at Hogwarts. With her long hair pulled up into two pony tails, she wandered down towards where it would be happening, holding a very PINNK sleeping bag in her hand. This was going to be exciting, Teehe. "Hello Mr. Masterson." She small prefect smiled, as she arrived, she also smiled at the small amount of students that were already here. "Do you need any help with anything?" |
Shana walked out down to where the "camp out" was being held,Yeah okay Camping wasn't Shana sort of thing buut like yeah.Should be fun being a hogwarts and all and being run by the most awesome ground keeper in the history of ground keepers. She clutched onto her sleeping bag and walked over to Dani.Heeey Mr.M.Heeey Danerz. Okay,Danerz wasn't the normelist of nicknames ever, but then again Shana wasn't the normalist of people. She smiled at the grounds keeper and her friend. |
This was kinda ... weird. Honestly, why would anyone want to sleep out in the creepy GNOME-INFESTED grounds when they had perfectly comfortable beds inside? Inside where it was safe. Eh. Still, Clifford found himself traipsing towards the small gathering, plush sleeping-bag slung over one shoulder. He loved marshmallows. With a passion. Chyeah. |
Varius walked out onto the grounds having seen the advertisement for this little shindig on the notice board. He had purposefully skipped the previous function, meeting werewolves, quite simply because the thought of werewolves was terrifying and in his opinion, shouldn't have been in the school! And what made it worse was that Lupa was one! *shudder* and she had escaped apparently!!!! Varius most definitely would have pee'd his pants in PHEER!RAWR. Anywayz, what could possibly go wrong with a little camping? Hm? And Masterson was a nice fellow and always up for a bit of fun. He still remembered him attacking Bunbunz' greenhouses in a Herbology lesson last term *snicker*. "Hey all," he greeted those who were already there, being careful to keep an eye on wellie!boot!Dani. Goodness knows when she would next strike! |
Kiri was glad that the school was fully accessible again. Not only did that mean she had most of her stuff back, such as her sleeping bag - whatever the Merpeople's magic had been, her possessions had not been harmed by their month-long submersion - but she was also no longer forced to use the infernal slides down into the Grounds... Especially today, carrying her sleeping bag as well as the usual school bag, she wouldn't have trusted herself to make the ride safely. By the time she got to the camp-out site, the sun was setting over the Lake. She paused for a moment and turned to watch the water's tranquil surface. Where the sun hit it, it gleamed and glittered like gold. Kiri saw that she was one of the first people to arrive. The Groundskeeper was piling up so much wood that it looked as if, in other circumstances, it were enough to build an entire Viking village. Kiri had brought warm clothes with her, but once a fire of that size got going, she was pretty sure she wouldn't need them. The slight breeze weaving through the Grounds only added to the idyllic scene. Kiri dropped her stuff a few metres away from the pit's edge - close enough as to get all the benefits of the warmth of the fire, but far enough that she wouldn't look attractive to any flames looking for fuel. She thought about offering Mr Masterson her help, but he looked more than capable on his own. Kiri would only be in the way. She sat down on the grass and stretched out her legs. |
Camp-Out! Yayyyyy... fun! It would definitely relieve Livvy of her worries for the time being. Plus... camp-outs were just plain old fun... smores... sleeping bags... tents. Who would want more than this? Livvy grinned as she walked over to the camp out area. "Hello Mr. Masterson! Great idea of a camp out... do you need any help?" she asked as she made her way closer, lugging her blue sleeping bag with her. Livvy glanced around, looking for a spot. She found a nice spot near the fire, but not too close that the ashes and smoke would strangle her. Just perfect one yard or so distance away. She set her sleeping bag down and sat on it, waiting for an instruction from the Groundskeeper or a familiar face. |

UGGGHH. WURRRHH. HARRRUMPH. As a crusader of wizarding youth psychology, Winnie was normally all for social events of this type. Birthday parties? There with bells on. Luaus? Break out the leis. But campouts...this was new territory. Why any wizard would sleep outside on the ground was beyond her...but she'd give it a shot (if there were sweets and there were SURE to be). And so there was Winnie, huffing and puffing as she dragged her purple backpack and fat fuschia sleeping bag onto the grounds. In keeping with the natural outdoorsy theme, she didn't use magic to get her stuff from the common room to the grounds...and as her pack was full of MOSTLY UNECESSARY JUNK she had probably slipped a disc on her way down. FLUMP. She dropped her things on the ground and dropped herself beside it. "Wheeeewwww," she exhaled, and pulled a scarf covered with pictures of Tweetie Bird (popular Muggle cartoon character; Winnie found him generally overrated but enjoyed the shape of his head, and his speech impediment) from the pocket of her bright red jumper, and mopped her brow. "I...need...chocolate...milk," she panted. |
OMG. UM. NATUREVENTMUCH?? Cam could not resist a camp-out because obviously he had some sort of a passion for nature and he wasn't going to waste this opportunity! He brought his bag of chocolates in one hand because he just kneeeeeewww that he was going to be eating A LOT of chocolate for the night and well, yeah. On his other hand was his sleeeeping bag and he skipped--no, RAN, straaaaaight towards the grounds. Finally getting there, he watched as the groundskeeper had... a lot of wood--A LOOOOT of wood. "Haaaaay Mistah Masterson," he greeted and then starting to unroll his green sleeping bag already. And he'd worn his green Slytherin clothes aaaand his nature-approved hat aaand his nature-approved pin, aaaall worn with pride. |
Clark jumped over to the grounds. A camp out? A camp out? His froggy green cool sleeping bag under his arm, he ran over to where Dani and Shana were sitting. "Hey guys," he greeted them. "A camp out? Where we sing and tell stories and be merry? How incredibly fun! Maybe there will be a talkent show!" he exclaimed. Ooh, look, Mr. Masterson! How incredibly fun would this be? Answer: Very fun. Maybe he could even start that pudding fight he had talked about with Millicent. Wait....had he taken his medicine this morning? |
CaMP OUT??? Once that word hit Em's ears, he just rushed himself towards the woods of the school and carried his sleeping bag and some...marshmallows along inside a small bag. How great it was that the school was Merpeople-free! And that the grounds were suitable for this kind of activities. He was ready to party if it was needed. And why not, maybe play his guitar a bit of time. 'Cause he brought it along as well. Once there, he waved to Mr. Masterson. "Good day..." He greeted going to sit over to where Kiri was. A few days before, he had found the jewelry she had chosen for her Christmas present. "I think this is yours..." He said, sitting beside her and taking her hand to give her the necklace and bracelet. |

He looked around, as if he was trying to figure something out. Like, where were Roma's treats and toys...and had he brought the radio? Merlin, he was getting old! Memory loss was already kicking in! Nah. "Hello," he replied, with a smile to all the other students that said hellp (while I was trying to reply to the first batch XD) "Olivia, if you could help Vanessa with setting up the blankets and baskets, that would be fantastic. Oh, and Winnie, there's some in one of the baskets. Go ahead and have some." |
Demetria heard Mr. Masterson needed help, so she went over to him and the Hufflepuff prefect. "If you still need help, I can set up the food." she told him. More and more people started arriving. This was going to be so much fun. |

She rolled her eyes.I'm not really in to "camping",All the icky bugs crawling all over my hair,it'll be all greasy and icky and bug infested. she shrugged again and smiled.Just didn't wanna be the only one still in the common room. she giggled and smiled as Clark approached them. Quote:
Yo C dawg. she smiled,Yeah odd nickname again just she couldn't think of anything else but Clakhh. And that was just plane. She shrugged and smiled. No No No! I don't do singing or "story telling." And I quite like sleeping. she nodded, she laughed at the thought of Clark being in a talent show. That would be amusing a talent show would make this soo worth while. |
Clifford perked up when he heard Mister Masterson say FOOD. Was it NOM time already? Oh yes. He just hoped this camping night thingymabob was acorn-free. Nostrils aquiver, the Head Boy sniffed the air, hoping to find the source of the food. He wanted to see what was on offer. Tummy growl. Quote:
He wasn't the other side of the lake! And he didn't have hearing problems. Shouty wasn't good. Still, Clifford managed a small grin for the second year. "You alright, Shana?" He asked with a small wink. Hehe. |
Doooottt! <3 Quote:
"Cammmm!!" Livvy yelled out as she skipped over to the younger Slytherin boy. She hadn't seen him in ages, not since their whole fake girlfriend.. fake boyfriend deal, even though they never carried it out. And ever since they exchanged Christmas gifts last term. But here he was now... with a... odd hat... and a green pin. 'Go Green?' Was he supporting his house or the environment? Livvy was gonna go with environment. "Uhm... I like what you're wearing today. Very environmental friendly." |
"Awww chocolate milk!!! You are just..." Winnie could not find the words, and simply clasped her hands to her chest. "Fabulousness." She gingerly opening a basket and began rummaging. Pointy sticks...PIECES OF BEEF OMG, wet naps, CHOCOLATE MILK BOXES!! Her face glowing, she snapped the little straw off the side of the box, stabbed it through the top, and sipped. "Why doesn't every sort of beverage come in boxes with straws?" she mused aloud. "I swear it'd be more efficient. No one would ever spill again." |

...... That dog. Clark scuttled over to the other side of Dani, afraid of Roma. He really should have went to go get his medicine this morning, but they had had the good sausage for breakfast, and then he kinda forgot. Achoo. |
