The second she heard one of the professors shout the signal, Anna raised her wand towards the door, then quickly moved it in three, small, counter-clockwise loops. As she did this, she put all concentration and intent into breaking through an actual spell. In her mind, she could almost see the spell breaking apart, and it's power diminishing with each and every loop and incantation from the students. "SpeRecanto!" she called out, holding her wand firmly in place, not daring to let it down until she saw sight of the two professors.

She watched the bright beam of light as it hit the door, hopefully causing some sort of impact. "Alright, everyone! Remember to hold the spell until we have them out! Or, well, until they tell us to drop it, at least," she said, speaking quickly, then going right back to focusing on her spell. It wouldn't do to break her concentration now. Ohhh, come on. Please work!

The yellow light acted as a beacon for Kazimeriz. Trying not to be distracted by the hip pain, he cast as well... They would need all of them to get the door open. He twisted his wand counterclockwise, adding the slight upflick, and cast silently. A beam of yellow light shot out of his wand and hit the door, fusing with Max's. He struggled to swim toward the door prayed the students were acting on the other side, and the door would budge.

They were almost out of time.

Aaron would not let this spell down. There was a big yellow light on the door and he couldn't see anything to the right or left of him. But he could tell that te other kids were doing the spell, too. HE wondered what was going on on the other side of the door.

"Come on!!!" He yelled. He didn't know what was going to happen next.

*Gabben bit his lower lip as he held the spell up. It was a strong spell to be sure. He planted his feet and kept thinking of taking down the spell, not the door.*

Oh. OH. GO TIME.


"SpeRecanto!!!" Plymouth shouted. His hand gripped his hip and Plymouth's wand made tight (and really, for Plymouth, quite impressive) little counter-clockwise circles.


"PROFESSOR V! Krazi!!! COME ON, MEN!!"

Whew. Plymouth was certainly having an adrenaline rush. And maybe a panic attack.

... they were gonna be okay, right??

Moments before Kaika had said 'SpeRecanto!'...at the same time they've heard Professor V said so...but wait, was something wrong with Kazi? Wasn't he supposed to let us know when to cast the spell?

Either way, her wand was still in place...but the professors weren't coming out...

She overheard Anna, and nodded, still holding the spell.

Hey, at least there was no explosion, so she must be doing this the right way, no?

A low rumbling was heard and Max wondered if the spell was supposed to do that. But then the color of light touching the door changed to red. Bright red. And it grew brighter as the rumbling grew louder. His eyes grew wide and he took a deep breath before going underwater.

KABOOM!


The old wood of the door couldn't handle the strain of the spell and imploded. Whatever was holding the water into place caused the splintering wood to bounce into the interior of the shed.

A moment later, a thud was heard on the muddy floor as the Flying professor flopped out of the dark water filled corridor like a fish on dry land and he had pulled Kazimeriz out by the collar of the old man's robes.

*When he saw the men now out and on the ground Gabben let the spell fall and ran over to them. He tried to help Kazineriz to sit up.*
"Sir! Are you ok?"
*He looked to be in pain.*

Kazimeriz was startled to see the red light. Oh noooo... He shielded himself as the door 'ploded, hoping the students wouldn't be hit by debris. He felt himself grabbed and draaagged out of the water, gravity taking over as they breached the charmed water-wall. He landed with a squelching, thudding crunch on to the floor by Vindictus, strangling a bit as his collar was pulled and landing painfully on the floor. Old folks and falling don't always go together, after all.

Pop! Luckily, the bubblehead charm seemed to be the only thing obviously broken.

"What in Merlin's name were you THINKING, Vindictus?" he gasped/choked/scolded the younger man. "Up flick! Up flick on the spell; you blasted the door into bits!" He looked about to see if anyone was hurt by shards of the door. "I am fine, is anyone in here hurt?" he said grouchily to a boy who was trying to help him up.

Anna was focusing so hard on her spell, that she almost didn't notice that the beam of light coming from her wand had changed to red. Ohhh, was that a good thing? She sure hoped it was, because she had no plans on dropping her spell until she saw sight of Professors Vindictus and Kazimeriz. Oh, pleeeease work!

KABOOM!

Seconds later, the wood from the door flew into the shed, and Anna had to duck to get away from it. When she heard a loud thud, she slowly removed her hands from over her eyes and glanced around. "Professor Kazimeriz! Professor Vindictus!" she called out, running over to them. "Are you alright? Do you need the nurse?"

Aaron kept his concentration on the door and the color turned from yellow to red. What the-

BOOM

All of a sudden splintering wood and water came shooting into the broomshed. Aaron closed his eyes out of instinct, sheilded his face, and then fell backwards. That, of course, broke the spell.

Aaron had splinters of wood in his arms and hands. He opened his eyes a little bit and saw blood all over his arms. He also saw Professosr V and K crawling into the broomshed. But the blood took his concerns the most.

"AAAAAAH!!!!" Aaron yelled at the top of his lungs. Ah, so much blood. Someone help me. PLease. He couldn't say much. All he could say was. "HELP- BLOOD- WAND- HOSPITAL- PLEASE!!!!" He then remembered, his eyes still shut tight. "Professors- OKAY?" He was fading... help.

*Gabben tried to not laugh at the older professor. He reminded him of his grandfather. Gabben sent a drying and warming spell to him.*
"Sorry sir, and yes. Everyone is just fine now."

*But Gabben was wrong he heard Aaron scream. He ran over to him and helped him up.*

"Aaron calm down it's going to be ok. Just a bit of wood."

A loud (because, really, it is supposed to be loud) KABOOM! was heard...and pieces of the door were flying everywhere.

Thankfully none of those pieces flew towards any of her eyes of something.

And...here they were! A grin brightened up the sixth year's face and she couldn't have been any happier when she noticed that they were both getting out.

"Professors! Are you both alright?" she was mostly concerned about old Kazi, but the question was for both, of course.

"I'm fine. Help the injured," Vindictus gasped and rolled over on his back. So what if he was lying in mud? It sure beat the icy water. But that old man.... "You never said to 'up flick' at the end! How was I to know that?" But he was lying there shivering and his teeth were chattering loudly.

Even with his manly hand on his manly hip, Plymouth couldn't help the very un-manly scream that escaped him at the EXPLOSION.

Then the shed gave birth to two of Plymouth's most favorite people.


THANK MERLIN.

Plymouth jumped around, waving his wand, and hoping to help MORE. "I know CPR! I do! I really do! Anyone need it?"

Plymouth might have totally did look at Anna first after this statement. Then, he inched closer to his professors. Did they... want hugs? Revenge? A hand up?

Plymouth took his outer robe off and put it on Krazi like a blanket. Then he patted his head. Plymouth... couldn't help himself.

Aaron felt and heard the Hufflepuff pick him up. His eyes were still shut tight. He was fading. He was losing a lot of blood. he was sure to faint soon.

"Proffessss- okaaaay?" he said slurred and half worded. He needed to go to the hospital wing. "Wand..." was the last thing he could get out before opening his eyes and seeing that his arms were completely red. He fainted by the sight oh his own blood.

"Aaron...Aaron...it's alright. You're going to be okay," she said. Poor little guy. He was really freaking out. If he didn't settle down, he was going to make himself even more ill than the splintered wood had. "You're going to be alright. Just hang in there. Gabben, do you mind bringing Aaron to the hospital wing? It'd really be a lot of help to have you do that. I'm going to stay here and see if I need to assist any other ill or injured...including the professors." She glanced towards the two professors again. They were encouraging the students to assist one another, but the professors had been in the flooded water for so long...didn't they need help, too?"

"They're ok now, you did awesome firstie! Woah! A little help please!" *Gabben laid Aaron back down and pulled his robes off. Then ripped it in to bits and tied the bits around Aarons arm to slow the blood down. Hearing Anna Gabben nodded and picked you Aaron again.*

"Ok firstie, up ya get!"

*Gabben then ran up to the school looking down at Aaron.*
"Come on mate, wake up now. It's ok..."

He lay there in the mud, too exhausted to get up. Actually, the mud was freezing considering it was winter and being thoroughy wet didn't help matters either. "Can someone please light a fire in the fireplace before we become popsicle professors?" Vindictus asked through chattering teeth.

Er, fire?

Umm, it was better if Kaika focused on conjuring blankets....

Well, not better, but safer.

And, with a flick of her wand, two blankets appeared out of nowhere...unfortunately they were pink, so, they probably belonged to Bunbury.

"Here, one for each of you, Professor" she said, handing the blankets to Kazi and Professor V, "Er, sorry about the pinkness" because she didn't mean for that to happen.

Lyra heard a LOUD NOISE and came running down to the broomshed. There she found both Professor Vindicitus and Kazimeriz "EEP!" Her hands clasped over her mouth as there were students in need of help. She was too late to help on one end but maybe she could offer assistance elsewhere.

"Incendio," she said as she pointed her wand to the fireplace after hearing the request from Professor V.

Kazimeriz rolled his eyes at Vindictus. "DADA, Vindictus. Your last quarter with me as your professor. I even showed you the upflick but you were too busy getting yourself into detention over some young--" He sighed; now was not the time. He gave Max the once-over, trying to see if he was alright and then turned his attention to others in the room.


Whaaa--? Kazimeriz looked momentarily stunned. Perhaps he had a head injury. Had Morgan actually patted him on the head? He looked up, confused as to whether that had even actually happened. It was surreal. Everything in the shed seemed surreal, the colors kind of seemed too vibrant, too brilliant, everything too loud... "CPR?" he puzzled.

"Get him-- hospital-- just in case. Tell Cari he's a gift special from me, with my regards... " Kazimeriz said, his speech slurry, kind of woozy and out of focus.

Kazimeriz blinked rather stupidly at the fire and the pink blanket. Bunbury would love this, to see the gents wrapped up in pink. He blinked again, trying to refocus so he could instruct the students and make sure everyone was alright. The injured student; where was he in all of this? Kazimeriz kind of sat quietly, pale.... and very cold, suddenly. He drew the blanket closer to himself.

Plymouth was green. He didn't do blood all too well. Thankfully, there seemed to be other students with stomachs stronger than him. But who was responsible for the water shed? What were Krazi and Professor V DOING in there? Plymouth could think of a MILLION better places go swimming.... surely someone had LOCKED them in???

Who would do that??

Meanwhile, Professor Krazi was requesting CPR. "Okay - just lie back Professor. On your back. Tilt your head back and know that this will hurt me more than you." Plymouth got down on his knees and checked his breath to prepare for what was to come.

Kazimeriz looked over at Morgan as he knelt beside him. He furrowed his eyebrows and tilted his head - to the side, not back- in pure puzzlement. What? He didn't need to lie back? Hurt Morgan more than himself? What was he on about, had someone hit them both with a confundus charm? If this had been an anime, little question marks would be floating around Kazimeriz's head.

"It's not great. Shouldn't have had those BBQ crisps," Plymouth warned about his breath. He took some deep breaths and then reached down to plug Kazimeriz's nose.

Plymouth had never touched one of his professors' faces before, let alone plugged their noses. He paused to note the occasion.

One deep breath in later, Plymouth Morgan lowered his face and attempted to resuscitate Professor Kazimeriz with CPR.
