"Okay."said Malfalda as she sat down next to the girl."I'm Malfalda.Malfalda MArlowe."she said proudly

Trixie was quite solemn in this meeting. She did not like the fact that Gryffindor were behind. Raising her hand she said “Well I just think the same as most of you-if we all pitch in and try to be on our best behaviour we can boost our score up. Also we could do the little thing like return homework on time, help out professors when they need us etc.” She really did care about her house and she wanted it to be the best.

Anna grew quiet as the two professors discussed matters with her fellow housemates. She was pleased to see that everyone's spirits seemed to be lifted, and that her housemates were willing to do their part to show their Gryffindor pride. Hopefully things would start to shape up as a result of this meeting. Anna had every bit of confidence that they would, too.

"I'm quite proud of all of you for making an effort to come to this meeting. I'm confident that with everyone's help, we can turn things around and start heading in the right direction," she said, with a smile. "No one's perfect, and no one expects you to be. We just sincerely hope that our housemates can get out there and show the school how proud they are to be a Gryffindor. It's going to take effort from all of us to get this done, but I'm sure we'll see positive results in no time."

Brant nodded to everyones comments "I'm trying really hard, and it seems like everytime I do, the Points just keep going down. I just hope that the other Gryffindor students understand how hard we all have worked and start to go the right way in school" Brant said. Looking down to his feet he felt kind of sad.

Antonio smiled. "Basically, I think we have a really good group here, and that the problem can be straightened up. It isn't that hard to do, and most of you are doing the right things already. But remember that Professor Morgan, Anna and I are always here should you need us in any way, and that most of these things that are causing problems are simply a matter of common sense and following the rules. You all know what is expected of you, you've been told these things over and over." He laughed. "So I really do think all of you are on the right track."

Daniel smiled at what the Professor had said. He then remembered a book that he had loaned from the Library about etiquette. I think some Gryffindor might need it more than him. He said with a tiny grin on his face.

Naomi continued to listen to the other students and the professor. "what if we help everyone remember the rules?" She suggested. "If you see a fellow gryffindor doing something wrong, nicely remind them of the rules so we don't have any more points taken away? What do you think about that professor?"

Christian sighed. He didn't understand what was so wrong about holding hands with someone but he didn't want either of them to get in trouble so he let Jane's hand go. He bit his lip to keep from saying something that would surely land him in detention. He didn't want Jane in trouble either.

Jane felt his hand slip away from hers. She blushed as he did so. Professor Morgan was right. Jane looked at her feet. She knew she had to just resist. It was homework and classes for her then. With maybe a few exceptional walks with Christian to just probably... talk. Well, this meeting had certainly givenrestored her hope.

They probably needed to confide in Anna for this...lovey-dovey-couple thing as soon as the meeting was over.

Christian looked over at Jane reading her thoughts. He shook his head almost imperceptibly but just enough for her to see. He didn't want to talk to anyone but her unless he absolutely had to.

Jane noticed the little shake and was torn between decisions. She didn't know what to do now. She just sat there, thinking over and over again what the Professors just said.

Christian withdrew into himself. This was killing him inside. He wiped away the tears that would not stop falling.

"Well, it seems as if this meeting has worked out for the positive," Anna said, glancing over at Professors Dumont and Morgan. "I think they all seem to have a really firm grasp of what we've discussed." Anna sat back, got comfortable, and waited for the meeting to be adjourned. She glanced over at Jane and Christian, who seemed a little upset or uneasy about something or another. Maybe after homework was done, she'd catch them in the Common Room for a little chit chat to make sure everything was okay.

"Yes, I think you all have a pretty good understanding of what is to expected, at least I hope you do," Antonio said. "As I mentioned before, you can always ask any of the three of us if you are ever in any doubt. And I just know that Gryffindor is going to do well this year, and I'm counting on all of you to show how great you really are."

Follow the rules. Yes, he knew that. They were easy enough, weren't they? And Pluto was... shiny. Shiny, and smaller than Mars.

Could they go now? Fyo blinked his wide, rather dreamy eyes, looking from Miss NiceHeadGirl to Professor Dumont.

Chris Potter looked at all the Gryffindors in front of him. He had decided to stand up next to Anna and Professors Dumont and Morgan, he smiled as the Prefect badge on his chest gleamed. "I agree with all three of you. Gryffindor needs to shape up and stay out of trouble this term. And we need to attend all the classes and do as much homework as we can."

Anna stood from her seat and approached Professors Morgan and Dumont with a smile. She really had to make her leave now, so hopefully they wouldn't mind. After all, most of the meeting seemed to be over. Everyone had really contributed to the discussion and made an effort to promise to do better, so the meeting did seem to be a success. "Professor Morgan, Professor Dumont, I apologize, but I really need to leave now. I have a good bit of schoolwork to do, and I really need to get started," she said, stopping to smile politely to her co-prefect, Chris. "If you need me, though, I'll be up in my room." With a final wave and a smile to her housemates, Anna headed out the Common Room and upstairs.
