Sarah looked at Professor Lawson. "Okay Professor, I would say that was pretty dangerous but why would a single bite kill you or trasform you into one of them if I bit a frog it wouldn't transform into a which or wizzard." She looked at the Professor again. "Does their teeth have some sort of poison in them?"

She squeezed Pepe's hand one more time and then she let go and walked to the Dias. With her usual smile and chipper attitude she turned to Clifford and said "Prefect Carden, we've had many talks... Hello Everyone. If you do not know me, I am professor Alessia Nicoletta Lupa, and I have a disease called Lycanthropy." She waited for the ooos and awws... and screams.... and cries.

Kevin just about fell off the bench when Professor Lawson asked Professor Lupa over to talk to them and he was wondering where the werewolf would be but he knew that werewolves were people and that he had to be nice to them as not to get attacked. Kevin's eyes just about bulged out of their sockets and all you could hear from his mouth was the ohh as it hit him that Professor Lupa was a werewolf and he was seriously wishing that he had attended some of her classes

Brants jaw dropped down, Professor Lupa was the werewolf?. No way!, hes seen her so many times and he never thought of it before. W.O.W he mouthed as he heard many stupids gasp or scream.

Clifford's eyes widened in ... surprise? Horror? Complete and utter FRIGHT? He didn't know what it was. But... this had to be some sort of twisted, sick joke, right?

Professor Lupa.. was a werewolf? Professor Lupa who had tried to SNOG him!? He'd had a werewolf try to snog him!

He was glad he'd decided to sit next to Mss Caroline, he was suddenly feeling rather.. faint.

Talk? Did werewolves talk? Evangeline actually chuckled quietly at Clifford's question, but stopped as soon as she realised she actually didn't know the answer either. Did they talk? Well, obviously when they were on their human form .. but were they able to talk when transformed? She doubted it, but you never know.

But Professor Lawson's surprising answer brought her attention back to what was happening at the front. Whaaa? Why dont you ask her? Professor Lupa? She was the werewolf?! THE WOMAN THAT HAD PRACTICALLY ATTEMPTED TO KILL HER LAST TERM?! And .... and ... the woman that had taken her arm away during an entire class just so she could impersonate a character whose arm had been bitten off by an ... wolf?

Loopy Lupa was the werewolf? So ... Kazimeriz was a vampire? That'd explain his age. OH! Suddenly, how happy she was this was her last term at Hogwarts. What next?

Antonio's face registered shock. He had no knowledge that his co-professor Alessia was a werewolf, it was something he would have never imagined. Wait, her last name was Lupa. How blind could he have been, of course! His heart went out to her, he had heard about another professor who had been at Hogwarts years before who had suffered terribly because of the disease. Alessia was doing an incredible job of controlling it, and he wanted to hear more. He leaned forward, his attention fully focused now.

"It is a disease of the blood Sarah and just as I told William, it is transmittable. So a bite from a werewolf will infect the intended victim with lycanthropy."

Marcus moved off the podium so that Professor Lupa could now answer the students questions. She would of course know first hand about the subject.

William stopped as he bent down to pick up his notebook to take notes. Lupa? OMG no wai! Blue eyes blinked rapidly as he shot up in his chair at the very front of the assembly and fought back the gasp that threatened to take over his vocal ability. he didn't even know what to think right now; he wasn't scared though. He knew she'd never hurt anyone intentionally but wow...

Sitting up straighter now with his quill and book in hands he looked expectant and waited with bated breath. how, when, where, why, what? So many questions were now flooding his mind as he waited.

Lyra's jaw dropped when she looked at the professor when she told them she was a werewolf. 'wait thats the ancient runes prof right? ...we have a werewolf as a teacher?!...merlins beard!' she thought while staring at her, she knew it was impolite to stare but how many times do you see a werewolf...well human..werewolf..ugh nevermind.. in front of you?

Brant Raised his hand and stood up directing his question to Professor Lupa."Erm... Professor Lupa, does it hurt when you change" feeling his question was childish he sat back down awaiting his reply.

Kevin was trying to think of a question to ask Professor Lupa but his mind was really coming up blank and he looked about the hall to see if any of his fellow students had any questions, Kevin was sure that a lot of them would ask questions

Was Professor Lupa going to present the werewolf? Talk about a friend of hers who was one? Kiri's eyes followed her eagerly as she walked past the benches to the dais where, on normal days, the professors sat. As she stood there on her own, though, Kiri's mind stepped it and began to doubt. Where was the... werewolf?

She blinked. There... wolf? Professor Lupa? (She did not speak Italian.)
Professor Lupa was the werewolf? The shocked silence in the Great Hall was broken by a stream of excited whispers all around her as the students seemed to realise what the woman had said. And what did she mean, a disease?

Kiri just stared - not just because no one she knew was sitting close to her. Professor Lupa was a werewolf? It didn't make much sense to her, but perhaps that was the whole point. Professor Lupa was a good professor and well-liked by many... most of the students. If the goal of this assembly was to tackle stereotypes about werewolves, nothing would work better than presenting Professor Lupa. Now that she came to think of it, Kiri came to think of it, another werewolf had been a Hogwarts, decades ago. She made a mental note to look them up before the term was over and the vastness of the Library closed to her.

Well, obviously she hadn't been checking her medical records quite thoroughly enough!

Alessia was a werewolf. Well that certainly explained the turns of bad health she had. And why she didn't get treatment for them.

How very interesting.

Kel's eyes widened before he could control them. Their professor was the special guest werewolf?! Realizing he'd been staring at professor Lupa with bug-eyes, Kel quickly looked down at his hands on his lap. Staring was rude. But she was a werewolf! Deep breath. Think.

Obviously, she was a well-controlled werewolf, otherwise people would've known by now. Kel couldn't help but look back at the other professors, and he took in a breath in relief when he saw expressions of shock on some of their faces. They obviously didn't know either. Kel took that as a good sign. He turned back to the front, trying to keep from looking too long at Professor Lupa, and tried to think of a question he could ask.

Kevin looked as Brant had asked a question and looked at Professor Lupa and thought to himself yeah i bet the transformation does hurt but i would not like that to happen to me but he knew that the wolfsbane potion had been invented to help any werewolf during the times when there was a full moon out in the sky

Herminny's eyes widened as professor Lupa revealed she was a werewolf. This was so cool, though quite horrible for her she knew she was gonna be safe and suspected that must be what the cage was for. She did'nt quite understand why everyone was so antsy. A werewolf was only dangerous the night of a full moon and she had read about potions that could be used to prevent the transformation entirely. So whatever, as long as this demonstration was done safely she was sure this was gonna be one of the coolest things she was gonna see in her life she thought.

Continuing to nibble on his chocolate, he watched as Professor Lupa got up on the stage. Ooooh is she doing some sort of an act too? Becau--

WHAT?!

He put the chocolate frog nearer to his mouth and bit a LARGE chunk of it, chewing fast. Chewing fast to see if he was hallucinating at the moment, chocolate would calm him down riiiight away. He chewed like there was no tomorrow, chocolate easily sticking to his teeth. And then he swallowed.

Nothing at all CHANGED. He watched in horror and went into an uncomfortable state. A DEADLY professor--and it wasn't Bunzz OR Kazi. Ohhh what'd happen if he somewhat went into her office one day and she'd bite him?! ZOMGSCARY. He held on to his silver sickle, the professor could have changed soon and if she was going to break the cage with her own bare werewolf arms, he was going to try his best to stay alive.

Stay. Alive.

But before he looked like he was going to faint, he quickly scribbled on the piece of parchment, writing down just one sentence.

But... he always liked asking questions. Raising his hand, he asked, "Uuuuuuuuummmm..." he stalled, trying to think up of an interesting question, "when were you bitten? If you like, remember...?" He nibbled again on his chocolate frog, finally finishing it, though not before taking out another one to nibble hastily on.

Oh wait, wait, Alessia was the werewolf? Anastasia had known that she was doing something with the assembly, according to the flyer, but she was THE werewolf they were interviewing?

Ew. So... maybe that's what the robes were for. And her ratty hair. And her saggy face. It all made sense now, though that really didn't change Annie's opinion of her at all. She could have been a half-hag married to a troll with thestrals for parents for all she cared and she was never going to like that woman.

Bunbury did turn around though at the sound of laughter breaking across the Great Hall. Now here was the shock - Ethan was the one doing the laughing. Interesting. Anastasia grinned a little to herself and turned back around, to blink some more at the wolf woman.

Lupa always did look like a half-groomed dog anyway. Why were people acting so surprised?

Fallon was shocked to find out that the werewolf was Professor Lupa. She had seen her around the school many times. She couldn't believe that one of their teachers was a werewolf! After the shock passed, Fallon thought that it was pretty cool for their teacher to be a werewolf. It just made the subject that much more interesting.

His eyes widened sharply at the announcement of a werewolf being present amongst all the students. Taking a quick peek at his peers faces, they all bore the exact wide eyed, dropped jaw, hock struck appearance he had. With one deep breathe, Cordova snapped himself back to composure and pressed his lips together as if smiling and hoping to give an acceptable open-minded expression.

Cy's eyes bugged out of his head as he heard what Lupa said. He knew that term, even the little first year knew what that ailment was. SHE WAS A WEREWOLF.

"Thats... AWESOME!" Cy called out, not thinking before speaking, and his voice echoed the Great Hall.

So they were gonna see her transform eh? That was too cool, good thing he'd brought his wand with him. Just in case.

Reese shifted in her seat as Professor Lupa began to talk. Wait. What did she just say? Her jaw dropped slightly as she just stared up at the podium. Professor Lupa was a WEREWOLF?!

That was...interesting.

Kevin heard a young hufflepuff boy call out that it was cool across the hall and Kevin kind of agreed with him because he thought that once the shock had passed he was thinking that it was very cool to have a professor as a werewolf, the last werewolf professor had been during harry potter's time at school and basically only lasted one term and had resigned after somebody had let slip the nature of the condition and now Professor Lupa was hopefully going to show the students what it was like for someone like her or at least explain it as best as she could
