She glanced up at the staff table again and then back at Cam. Uh-huh oh yeah.
It was his win.
Reese OBVIOUSLY couldn't see throughout his lie--that Torin dooood, GUH, he'd seen those two. S'right. Library. He'd hugged and cuddled her and all. REESE WAS CHEATING, SHE WAS CHEAAATINNNNNG. His lie would ooooobvvviously make her go into some sort of a defensive mode, awweeohhyeaaaaaah.
His shriek. Her panic made him happy happy HAPPEH! He grabbed another cookie and continued to nibble, eying the other Slytherins an... unexplainable look and went back to Reese. Reese Reeesee Reese. TSKTSKTSKKKKK. "Yehhh, he uh, he told me not to tell youu but," he scoffed, hiding a laugh, "like, what-evaaahhh Torin." BWAHAHAHA. Oh this was tooooo good.
Was it a guuuurd way to end the term? He... Well... then again, it was fun. "He also told meh, he likes you and all," he told her in another convincing voice, "Put bits of love potion in your food and all--I suggest you watch what you're eating."
Teehee.
Poor Jack? Oooh. "Well... like, you're THE Reese and all, who KNOWS what'll happen to that Jack guy? You may not know this but," he leaned closer and gave her a slap on the shoulder, "you have issues."

And Hugo most certainly knew that he'd be forced to bake a lifetime's supply of blueberry muffins... but he was utterly absorbed in his manly loving with Miles. Hmmmm. HUGOLOVESMILESFOREVERBROOOO! Aherm.
And so about five minutes passed before Hugo actually looked up to see a arm crossed, brow arched Evolette McKenna. "Oh. HAILETTIE!" He cooed, pulling her onto his lap. Poor Miles would be squished.
But YAY - Miles, Hugo, Lettie sandwiiiich! Miles smiled slightly at Hugo's odd behaviour. "I wish it was something like Spellotape, sometihng that wouldn't rip my trousers." GAAAH. He hated second years now. "It's superglue." He said, as if it was the end of the world, which it felt like for a few minutes, but he knew he'd get out of it somehow. "Awwwww." Miles cooed as Hugo snuggled up. "You really are loveh aren't you. I love it!"
Miles sighed, if only that were possible. "I wish I could, but I'd look a little silly as I'd be the oldest guy in the class." He shrugged. To be honest, he actually wouldn't have minded. Miles gasped a little, as he was suprised when Hugo's weight crushed his rather weak legs. Meh. He was fine. "Chyeah. She better love it."
ZOMG! "OH DEAR MERLIN!" - not that Evolette was uberly overweight, but another human beings weight over another human beings weight was rather crushing. Quote:

Tossing a glance about the hall lazily, she took in everyone saying goodbye to their friends. Honestly. It wasn't the end of the world. Most of them would be back next term, and even if not, they were bound to see eachother again.
Then, a familiar whine....wail...squeaking thing caught her attention, and she looked over just in time to see Hugo tackle Miles. Miles. She'd forgotten the boy was a seventh year this term.
Might as well say goodbye, even though she was going to see him around still, he'd want a proper goodbye.
Walking over to the huddled group, McKenna crossed her arms over her chest, arching an eyebrow at the two boys, "All right lads. Where is MY hug?" she asked. As Miles made sure that he was comfortable, even though he couldn't move around, he grinned at Evolette. "EVE! So .. lovely to see you!" He said, a little forcefully as he had people piled onto him. He hated being at the bottom of the pile. "Do you know a charm to unglue my butt of the bench? By any chance?" | |

He still didn't like people hugging him randomly, weird people being .. weird, he was still the same. He was even the same sulky boy, the same awkward boy.
But he looked like a man. Once they got out of that castle, he'd officially be a man. And she'd never see him again.
No wonder he was eager to go back home. His flat in London. The place she had once considered their home. That looked like a life time ago. Following his gaze, she noticed Evolette McKenna had now joined Miles and Hugo .. Evolette. She had read that Aparecium edition, and with a small sigh, turned back to Clifford. It was none of her business, was it?
"Yeah ... I bet." She bet? Why? Ack, she was making no sense at all. "I can't wait to leave .. but i dont wanna leave at the same time." Hm. Why was she confessing all of this to him? He had probably just approached her out of sympathy .. or compassion. Eh. | |

Chris watched as her eyes changed to purple. Purple what could that mean? He quickly moved his eyes from hers just so it looked like he wasn't staring at them. He was not going to ask Lena what that color meant at least not now anyways. " A Veela eh? Ummm I don't know." He thought about it as he rubbed his chin. " I don't think so. I think I would like a eye color changing stalker more." He told her.

Helena nodded very slightly with another smile. Definitely - I'm hoping to finish it by this summer, actually, and then just update it over time. She smiled at the thought, but the thought of it made her strangely sad. So when, exactly, are you leaving after you graduate? she asked, finally feeling up to it to start chewing on a roll.

Chris thought about the question. "Ummm I want to say two or three weeks after. I have to have time to pack and stuff. But it won't be so bad couple of my friends are coming with me. But I'm only going to be gone a year and half or so. But I will be back for Christmas and maybe part of the summer after that depending on what happens." He told Lena.

Helena listened quietly and then managed a smile. Well, at least you won't be alone. Who's going with you? Anyone I'd know? She was happy to be talking seemingly-normal with him, even though her heart was still breaking before him. And it was all her fault. But she would have rather had hers break than to watch his be torn to shreds.

Chris shrugged at Lena's question. "Don't know if you know them. Just some friends who I've known since I was little. They're into music to. We kind of play around with stuff but it should be fun." He told her and smiled. The more he talked about it the more excited he got. But then only thing was he would have to leave Hogwarts to do so. Leave behind all his friends and family for his dreams. It was quite scary to think about, but if that's what must be done then that's what must be done.

Helena smiled slightly and said with surprising truth in her own words, That's really great, Chris. Her smile remained slight as she poured herself a goblet of pumpkin juice and then took a sip, glad to have a reason to look away for a moment. Then she looked back up after a moment, a small smile still a bit evident.
