Evangeline Green did not want to leave. Hogwarts, that was. As she sat there quietly, watching the staff table under watchful eyes and ever so glad her feet were dry, she wondered if they'd let her stay if she simply clung to the table and refused to leave.

Wishful thinking? Probably, but it was still comforting. The thought of leaving Hogwarts was awful.

Not because she'd miss the people, or the food, or the morning walks on the lake, or the busy common rooms. Obviously, she'd miss all of that, and much more. But mainly, she didn't want her time to come to an end at Hogwarts mainly because of the slight sulky looking boy a couple of seats away from her.

If they weren't at Hogwarts anymore, that'd be it. No more sneaky looks, no more random bumps into each other. He'd forever be gone.

And that - that hurt.

Miles sighed. Why why WHY did women insist on sticking guys to chairs so that they would never leave. "I guess so." He mumbled when she said he could watch out for burglars. Wait, BURGLARS? "ZOMG! What if they hurt me?!" And then another thought came up. "What happens if I need to go to the bathroom during the feast?" She really hadn't thought this had she? "Well, I'm gunna die here." Miles rested his elbows on the table and his head in his hands.

MERRR.

Chris nodded. "Hey it's alright I did think you would be. I mean not everybody who has a house elf is mean or anything. I guess it's more of a choice to be mean to your house elf or not. Either way I don't mind you having one." He told Lena shugging. It was true he didn't care.

Ohhhh. That cookie looked delicious!

Reese just stared at Cam while he slowly ate his cookie. Aw, man. She wanted a cookie now. Her brown eyes shifted over to the food in front of her and her eyes landed on the plate full of cookies. Yummmmmmy. She started to reach for one until Cam let out a high-pitched 'Ewwwww.' Aw. Poor little Cam didn't like being poked by her. Too bad. If he pokes her, then she pokes him. That's fair, isn't it?

Grinning slighty, she took the cookie from the platter with her left hand and placed it on the plate right in front of her. She took one last drink of her pumpkin juice before she sat the glass back down on the table. But, while she was drinking it, she saw a BIG flash. Ohmygosh! That flash brought back memories of when her and Cale were in the corridor last term and that picture girl took pictures of Cale. That girl has the camera that has the BIGGEST flashes. They were blinding, literally.

Blink. Blink. Blink. She was seeing some round, colorful dots every time she blinked. Gaaah. She officially hated bright lights. "Cam, why the heck did you do that?" She exclaimed as she rubbed her eyes, hoping that would get rid of the colorful dots. "Are you trying to blind me?" The answer to that was probably 'yes'. She took a few more minutes of rubbing her eyes until another thought hit her.

"Subject change," she announced. "I want to go back to you finding out that I have a boyfriend. Do you know who it is?" Hmm. If someone told him, then they would have had to told him who she was dating...right?

GAAAASSSPPPPP.

That needed-to-be-medicated woman just... she took a cookie from the cookie from the cookie platter! How DAAAARE she. May she have the Curse of the Hobos and weigh more than 500 lbs. as punishment! That was HISSSSS cookie platter and it even had his name on it? Did it? Well he thought it did, it was right in front of him wasn't it?

Reese Selena Upstead were Cookie Monsters, hiding in the dumpsters at night and stealing cookies from innocent wizard by day. AwesomeMUCH? Well... it had Reese in it so that just ruined the whole thing, didn't it?

OH. OH. MWAHAHA. So camera flashes were her WEAKNESS? If ... Cam had a bajillion camera flashes, all flashed at Reese, would she go blind and thus... Teeeeheee. He grinned evilly. "Obviously," he lied... maybe.

UGGGHH SUBJECT CHANGE. And it went baaack to the boyfriends. He still wasn't going to reveal the portrait's identities, who knew what Reese could do to them?! PAINT MUSTACHES AND DEVIL HORNS ON 'EM? Oh oh OHHHHH. Yeah. She'd just probably do that.

But he had to think up of someone. Thinking up of the first person he could think up of, he told her, "Professor Bunbury did. She uhhhhh, she's a known gossipah, ya know?" He said... yeah. Bunbury. He blamed Bunbury for many things.

Cookie time! Reese picked her cookie up from the plate she had sat it on and began to eat it: one bite at a time. She wanted to demolish the cookie in one bit, but that would make her look like a pig or something. And, she didn't want the people that were sitting near her to think she was a horrible person who ate their food in one bite. She has only ate something in one bite one time in her life and it was when she was little.

Bunbury? BUNBURY?! Seriously. "Enough with the lies. I know Bunbury didn't tell you and I know I didn't tell you," she told the boy. Anyways, why would Bunbury tell Cam that Reese had a boyfriend anyways? It wasn't like Bunbury would do that AND Bunbury didn't even know about it! There were only two people that would have told Cam, unless...unlesssss...the portraits told him.

Ha! Like the portraits would tell Cam about what happened. Yet, that did 'aww' when Jack said he would be her boyfriend. So, it was a high possibility that the portraits could tell him. Hmmmmmmm.

"Okay. You already know that I have a boyfriend and I don't really care that you know," she stated. "I'm not afraid to admit that I'm dating Jack Fritzera. I don't really care WHO told you I had a boyfriend, but it would be nice to know. You don't have to tell me, though. If you are just going to keep telling me lies, then...whatever." There. That was all said and done. She took another bite of her cookie as she looked at Cam.

Enough with the lies.

UGHHHHHHHKABLEFASHENNNNMUHUIAFHPJH.

Cam made a 'hmph' sound, eying Reese who thought he was lying. The NERVE of the crazy old witch, WHAT, did she have some lie detector somewhere around the area? So apparently Bunbury was not really a good excuse, and he glared at the older Slytherin girl before finishing off his cookie and taking another one from the platter. The platter which Reese shouldn't have stolen any more cookies from.

And how would SHE know if Bunbury didn't know? DID SHE STALK THAT HERBOLOGY PROFESSOR?! Reese was a stalker and so was Cam but that didn't change anything at all.

"Okay, fine then, it wasn't Bunbury," he said with pride, "It was Torin." Ohhh that Hufflepuff kid? He said that with a fake look in his eyes, though... he thought he sounded convincing.

And what? WHAT WAS THAT? JACK? FRITZAWHOO?!?!? OMG. What did she do, BRIBE him to be his girlfriend? "Awwe, poor Jack," he snickered and bit into his HEAVENLYYY-TASTING cookie.

Cue evil smile. Reese knew Cam was lying about Bunbury tell him about her getting a boyfriend. What kind of Professor would do that? It didn't seem like Bunbury, or any other teach in fact, to get into student's personal lives.

"I knew...WHAT?!" She shrieked. "Torin told you?" The nerve of that guy. Especially after she thought he learned his lesson about telling people about other people's secrets. True, this wasn't a secret, but stillll. The nerve. "I can't believe it. Actually, I can believe it. Hmph," she said as she finished off her cookie and then crossed her arms over her chest.

HMPH!

She glared at Cam when he opened his mouth again. Poor Jack? POOR JACK?! "What is that suppose to mean?" She asked him. She looked towards her glass of pumpkin juice and got the idea of just pouring all of her drink on Cam like she did at Cela's birthday, but thought against it. Remember, the teachers are watching. She glanced up at the staff table again and then back at Cam.

She walked to the Great Hall with slow steps. It was the end of her second year at Hogwarts. And this term had gone better than the one before. She hadn't gotten into any fights and that was always a good thing. She had survived her first year as quidditch Capitan and a game with some all star quidditch players, even knocking a few of them off their brooms. With the added bonus of yelling at Professor Bunbury during the game.

It seemed she had even patched things up with Daphne, though she was still as confused as to the whys and the whats of it. And she had found Chris, well he found her. Seeing as he had asked her out right before he kissed her in the prefect's bathroom. Then she helped battle nasty grindylows and freaky merpeople in front of the headmaster's office. She should have a 'S' on her chest. She was Superwoman or something. She had done all of that in high heels and with great skin. A diva's work was never done.

She wasn't entirely sure she was ready for this term to be over. But with her head held high she walked into the Great Hall. She was wearing her green Hogwarts robes with silver hoops. She just wanted to stand out in a crowd. She couldn't help it. She waved a few friends at other tables as she made her slow trek to the Slytherin table. Clifford and Evangeline were graduating and she didn't think she could say goodbye to them without tearing up and she had forgotten her tissue in her other robes.

She was going to sit next to Cam but as usual the boy was spinning like a top and just too much energy for one planet to contain so she sat a few seats down from him.

Helena nodded slightly, a very small smile appearing on her pale pink lips. I'm glad, she said finally after a few moments. Obviously still upset about their understanding - the understanding which, she reminded herself, she came up with - Chris's not-quite-approval meant the world to her; she didn't want to do anything to upset him, still. You'll still stop by in the summer, yes? she asked him after a moment with a small smile.

Steven walked into the hall and it was with a soft smile on his face, that he decided that this had definately been his best year so far; despite having four family members in the school. This was the best year because:

~ He had attended Cel's birthday party, met Paris and dated Paris.
~ He had gone to Hogsmede with Corwyn; where nothing, not one single thing, had gone right.
~ He had been a pawn in the 7th year Females games of "Kiss The Males" and had ended up getting kissed by the Head Girl, and a pep talk from Model-like Hufflepuff Lyra.
~ He had surprised, bewildered and shocked his best friend with her birthday present, then preceeded to get a few smooches.
~ He had finally started to date said best friend, after six months of beating around the bush.

However, he had lost Corwyn to the States, and he was loosing the seventh years that he talked to on a regular basis. Such as Evangeline, who had saved Nancy from the floods, and Lyra who had saved his pride when it had come to the Anna incident in Hogsmede.

Yes... although this is had been the best year; it was also the worst year for goodbye's. So, with Nancy walking alone beside him. He sat down across from Paris with a small smile. "Hi Paris." He waved a little to Cam, just to be polite and noticed that Anna and Lyra were both at the Podium talking to the teachers. Silently, he wondered if they would even both to come and say good bye.

Lyra couldn't help herself. She was in a wonderful yet weird mood at the moment and frankly, she had to say goodbye to everyone that she deemed worthy of saying goodbye too. First she started with the Slytherin table. All the boys she knew...well...she had to say her goodbyes the proper way.

"Stevennnnn," she grinned from ear to ear as she pushed her long, blonde hair behind her and stretched out her arms for a big, juicy hug from one of her favorite Slytherin boys.

Although Steven had just sat down and gotten comfortable, he couldn't help himself from standing up as Lyra called out his name. As he stood, his foot caught his own robe and he rolled his eyes at himself. "I'll never change." He said to Lyra, as he too opened his arms for the gorgeous Lady so that she could get a proper Scottish hug. Geez, he would miss her. She had been lovely this last year... Since they had meet properly at Cela's birthday party. He held her close, wanting to keep her there for a few seconds at the very least.

Lyra's arms stretched around Steven and she leaned in to kiss his cute little cheek. "I just wanted to tell you to stay adorable as always," she smiled as she then began to move her thumb across his cheek. "Lipstick." Oops! But he probably wouldn't mind at all.

"Oh and I know you are going to break the girl's hearts but, be a gentleman about it and let them down easy." She pulled back to look at his cute, gorgeous eyes and smiled. "Yup, you are going to break their hearts no matter what you do, so just keep being you!" Well those were words of wisdom.

Steven laughed, as her advice for him was to stay adorable, be nice when letting girls down and to be himself... Well, that was Lyra for you. "Thanks Lyra." He said, looking up at the eighteen year old with pride. "I will try my best..." He looked over at Nancy and smiled. "But I won't have to let anyone down any time soon... Unless its telling her that I forgot to get her candy." He winked at both Lyra and Nancy and grinned.

"Have fun, have a wonderful wedding when the time comes and don't forget to Apparate everywhere for the next few weeks... Just because you can." He grinned, he was only sixteen. Leave him alone. He grinned at her, with a smile.

She looked up and smiled as she saw that familiar swagger coming down the rows between the house tables. Steven. Their breakup had landed int he school gossip rag. To which she was upset and happy to see. No press was bad press, but still she thought their breakup was a private thing. But it was over and done with and no one was hurt. "Hello Steven," she said warmly.

She was going to say something to him when it was the attack of the 50ft Hufflepuff. She moved out of the shadow Lyra cast and looked at as she talked to Steven. She forgot Lyra was leaving too, and she was surprised to find that she was going to miss her.

Lyra pulled cute, adorable Steven towards her once again and gave him a hug. She couldn't help it. It was the flirty side of her that came out but he was younger than she was and he had Nancy and she had her Christian. Ode to the ladybugs everywhere when it came to her Christian!

"Wedding is not for another few years," she smiled, trying to keep her eyes from rolling. It was a mixture of both Lyra and Christian to keep things held off for a few years. He had his football games and she had her muggle/wizard modeling career and if either of them were to get anywhere in this life, they had to do it alone. Oh but she would find him when she was ready, whether he was or not. "And yes, apparating everywhere will be the plan."

Oh how she hated goodbyes but they had to be done. "Well, you get back to your lovely Nancy and take care." Another kiss on the cheek and it was time to move on to the next boy...or Paris.

"Hello Paris," she forced a smile on her face, not that she didn't want to see Paris, it was just...well...she really liked the girl but what was the use in telling her anyway. "I hope...you have great summer." She tried to stand proud and tall as she talked to the girl.

Steven smiled at Paris as she said hi and then proceeded to hug Lyra once again. "I know.. But when it happens, make sure you have the best day of your life." He said with a few nods. He really would be sad to see this years Senior's leave. It meant that he was one year closer to graduating. Three years left. That was him past half-way. Sigh.

"I will..." He gave Nancy a big smile and then looked back to the Hufflepuff. "Don't worry. No-one will be better looked after." He hugged her once more, winked at her, then sat back down. His hand found Nancy's and he sighed. He hated good-bye's.

Chris needed to go see Paris. He wanted to talk to her as much as possible, just incase they didn't see much of each other on the train. He walked down the walkway along the table and spotted her talking to some Slytherin boy. He walked up behind her and swept a quick kiss on her cheek. "Hey Paris." he said through a bright smile.

She was already like 9 feet tall why did she feel the need to try and tower over Paris whenever she saw her. "Hey Lyra," she said with a sweet smile on her face as her fingers itched to fling a tripping curse at her. Cut her down a few. "Well I hope you have a great summer as well." One minute they would have a easy flowing conversation and the next they were on the verge of a cat fight.

She gave him another smile before he was buried in all the height and fabric that was Lyra Noir. The girl didn't even need heels. She was doing that to mock Paris!

She nearly jumped when she felt someone's lips on her cheek. She turned around and smiled when she saw her boyfriend standing there. "Chris," she squealed as she gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. "I've been looking for you I was scared we would miss each other before the train." She told him in relief.

Chris laughed and after she had kissed his cheek back he said, "Never to fear my dear, Chris is here!" in a cheesy voice. He scooted in next to her. "Oh well I would make sure we didn't go home without seeing each other."

Lyra smiled at Steven as he returned back to the table with his girlfriend. He was a sweetheart and for that, it was one of the things she liked about him.

And then there was Paris. She was a hard one to figure out but there was one thing that Lyra had to say to get off of her chest, but jumped as the girl squealed. OH.MY.GOD. "You and...Chris?" She had no idea! How did she not see that? "OHTHATISSOWONDERFULILOVEITLOVEITLOVEEEEEITTTT T!" Now it was her turn to squeal and clap her hands together. Love was in the air! Sigh!

"So like, Paris," she said as it was finally time to tell the girl the truth. "Next term will be easier for you." She began with a sigh. It was tough. Really tough. "You will be the Ruling Diva of the school. No one will be able to walk the platform next to you." There! That was her whole reasoning behind all of this. She was afraid that Paris would steal her moment of glory away from her last year at Hogwarts.

She giggled at Chris. He was an utter character, and she loved it. "Thats good because we have to plan when your coming to my house," she told him as she moved over to make room for him on the bench.

Her eyes crossed as Lyra all out squealed and clapped as she found out about her and Chris. She though everyone knew about that. "Yes me and Chris are dating. Its been awhile now to be honest." She smiled as she looked at Chris.

Paris eyes tried to keep from narrowing. Did she Lyra, just imply that she Paris, had ever feared she wasn't the top diva at Hogwarts in the first place? That she even put any other girl in Hogwarts in the same league as herself? "Well Lyra this term was easy as pie for me, and I could out walk any girl in this school on my worst day." She winked at Lyra. "Oh and the tiara still fits dahling." Least she think that anyone could ever take her crown as the diva to rule all divas.

Lyra's smile faded as she raised a brow to the Slytherin girl. She had nerve, that was for sure but, nope. "The tiara might fit, but it's tarnished a bit. You might want to polish it before next year." Like throw it in the fire and start with a new one? And on that note, she turned on her heels and walked off. She had more boys to hug and kiss goodbye.

She was trying to be nice to Lyra and wish her a happy summer and all that jazz, and she tried to take a shot at her. And Lyra was acting like that victim. That little act was not becoming on Lyra. "Maybe your sight is fading in your advancing age dahling. Diamonds never tarnish." She blew her a kiss as she turned on her heel and walked away. And to think she had actually thought she was going to miss that girl.
