Kevin wandered into the end of term feast and sighed another term almost over and he was already looking forward to returning for his third year at Hogwarts

Lyra entered the great hall, she was going to miss the castle for the summer but at the same time she couldn't wait till she saw her parents again. Walking towards the Slytherin table she noticed there was only one person there. Lyra sat down on the bench and tapped with her finger a rhythm from a song she liked while staring off in to the distance. What a year, floods, sharing a dormitory with the gryffindors , Slytherin is most likely on the last place and her friend Grace was leaving and never coming back again. She sighed deeply and thought that this had been only her first year. She decided to play with her wand and levitate a goblet, just like she had done when she first sat down on the bench....but at that time she had broken the goblet. Lyra giggled a bit and looked around wondering when the feast was going to start.

Grace walked to the familiar Slytherin table with a sad face that never seemed to go away for the last days. She was thinking about her whole year here, and about the next year she'd have at another school. No mad mermaids flooding for power. Awesome.

She saw that there were only the second year guy she only knew by name Kevin, who she smiled anyway, and--

Lyra! The person Grace was longing for. Her lips quickly formed a smile as she hopped next to her best friend. "Hey there!" she greeted. "How are ya?"

Lyra had been levitating the goblet in to the air for a few seconds and was getting really better at it. She, however, lost focus when someone sat next to her and the goblet fell down on the table, breaking in to pieces. 'yup just like the first time' she sighed and turned around. "oi! can't you see i am bus.....y...Grace!!" she shouted excitedly her anger fading away and hugged her. "so sorry, got a little carried away there, i'm ok , i guess..not really the ending feast i was hoping for but...yea i'm fine, how are you holding up?"

Grace watched Lyra levitate the goblet. When she broke it, Grace giggled. She hugged her back. "What kind of feast were you hoping?" she asked blankly. Feast was feast, after all. "I'm, you know... sad. Today, I walked around everywhere to say goodbye." She sighed. Despite mad mermaids, she loved here.

Lyra shrugged her shoulders at Grace's question and pointed her wand at the goblet. "reparo" she said and the goblet mended itself. "it's just, i was hoping for a better feast, i mean you are going away and Slytherin is most likely on the last place for the house cup." she sighed and turned around to look at the Ravenclaw table and back at Grace again. "funny huh? how we were the best at the beginning of the year and are the last now?" she said while nodding towards the hourglasses. "ah we still won the gobstone cup so that is something right?"

Lyra looked down at the table and just knew that tears were building up. Grace had been her second friend she ever met and her mind wondered back to the trolley and how she had been eating those chocolates. Lyra snorted a bit from laughter and wiped away the tears. "i'm just going to miss you so much" she said quietly and continued to stare at the table.

Kevin sighed as he looked about the hall that he would miss for the next few months, he saw a girl called grace smile at him and turn to chat to another first year, kevin was wondering what sort of fun he was going to get up during the holidays

Parker ? Where are you ?

Shana walked into the great hall and took a seat at the slytherin table,best place to find Miles at his last ever feast.She looked around for him,he'd better not think he could get away with leaving without her trying to stop him oh no she was gonna have a good go.Soo ch'yeah,Glue check.Puppy dog face,Check.Wand,Check.Hmm should be all good,she could always go find some rope if need be.

No No No NO NOOOO!

Sniffle. Miles Parker ruffled his hair with his left had and wiped his eyes. He was going pretend that this WASN'T his last feast ever. He would be here next term and carry on with all the fun he had had for these last five years. He wasn't here for first or second. Hehe. As he shook his head once, to make sure his hair was out of his eyes, and also, that his eyes were dry, Miles stuffed his hands in his pockets and walked into the great hall for the last time.

Feeling slightly happier, Miles noticed Shana looking fairly devious. EH? What was she up to? He thought he'd suprise her with a big bear hug from behind. He quickly, but silently made his way towards her. "HUGGGGIIINS!" He yelled, squeezing her as if never letting go.

AAAAAAAAH! Merlins spotty green beard! MIIIILESSSS! She screamed at the top of her voice turning round to hug him,Miles had a acception no matter how much he was mean to her, which he NEVAH EVAH was orr how much he scared her she'd ALWAYS forgive him cause he was the first person she'd ever met at Hogwarts and he was supah nice when she accidently knocked her ice cream over him.he quickly loosend one of her hands and put glue on the back of Miles' trousers,that way she couldn't get introuble for Damaging school property.Bwahaha.Why don't you sit down here Miles ? She said,loosening her arms and pushing him slightly backwards so he was sitting on the bench.She hoped up on to his lap and clung to him tightly.No way he was leaving.

WOAH.

Shana's scream was much louder than his, though he had to admit, girls were much better at screaming than boys. Definitely. Just as Shana wrapped her arms around him, he did that same to her as she turned around. She hadn't said anything about last hours, or goodbyes ... or even gone forever! EEK! Phew. Because if it was Hugo, he'd be thinking nothing but the fact that Miles was leaving, and himself, Terry and Evolette weren't. Lucky.

Miles's eyes widened as Shana's hand moved towards his trouser leg. He jumped back a little, frightened if the the little second year was trying to pinch his bum or something. EWWWW. "Uuuugh. A little too friendly there, Shana." He tried to laugh it off, and sat when she gestured. And now his lap?! Ws this girl full of love or what? "Do you want something?" He raised an eyebrow.

Laura was wandering away from the Ravenclaw table because ther was no one there she knew, when she recognised a face at the Slytherin Table. Smiling, and making her way over there, she swung onto the bench. "Hi kevin!" she said.

Ewwwww.Miles.I wasn't try to touch your but,I was putting glue on your trousers so you can't leave. she rolled her eyes,sometimes boys always thought the worst of things you know,When you said something they always had to change it around.Must be something to do with those pea-sized brains of theirs,they did have pea sized brains right ? She shrugged and smiled.Remmember When I said I wasn't gonna let you leave,Umm yeah I was being serious.I've got a bunch of plans to keep you here.Uh-huh,I got em all on a piece of paper in my pocket if you wanna see. she smiled and nodded firmly.

Kevin smiled and said "Hey Laura" Kevin was glad to have somebody to chat to for a while anyway he liked Laura for a first year she was cool

WHHHHHHHHYY?!

This term, the Ending Feast was going to be a complete nightmareee! No more house-elf food and worse, PEOPLE were graduating. There was... there were the two Prefects, he didn't really get to know either of the two buuuut it still mattered. AND THEN--THEN ANNA. WHY. WHY. WHY. How would she live without him by her side?! Thinking about some other people who were going to graduate, he hopped like a bunny, feet together, jumping straight and forward to the table, carrying only a small black sign with him.

The world was coming to an end today.

Yes. Yes it was.

Laura smiled. "How've you been? Glad for the end of Term?" The question had come out by acident, like a standard response question. But it made her fall silent, deep in thought. The year had flown, yet she still
wasn't sure wether she was leaving or not. Oh, decisions where something she hated. Shaking her head to clear her thoughts, she smiled at kevin, hoping to dear God that he hadn't noticed, hadn't though she was a complete loon.

Kevin smiled and said "I have been good thanks Laura" Kevin wasnt sure how to answer that question because he didnt know whether Laura meant to ask it or not

No. Just NO! It couldn't be the end of the term already. It just couldn't be.

Reese stepped inside of the Great Hall, hoping that she had gotten the days mixed up and it WASN'T the end of the term. Sadly, it was. She stood by the door for a few minutes as she looked around at all the students that were already sitting at their house tables.

This was sad. A lot of the people she knew were graduating this year and she still hasn't said goodbye to anyone who was graduating. Honestly, she DIDN'T want to say goodbye. Sigh. This was probably going to be the time to talk to her friends that were graduating and give then a hug. But, right now she was really thirsty.

Heading over to the Slytherin Table, she sat down and picked up her glass of pumpkin juice. She took a few sips and then sat the cup back down. Then, she noticed who she had sat down next to. Cameron Karsten.

"Cam," she simply stated.

The first thing Kiri did when she slipped into the Great Hall was glance down the length of the Slytherin table furtively. She wasn't sure if she wanted to see Raiden (even thinking his name made her blush now) there or not - it would be incredibly awkward to try and talk to him. But she wanted to talk to him. Excluding the train ride back to London, this was most likely the last time she was going to see him before going to Diagon Alley to buy supplies for her next year at Hogwarts.
Late last night - she hadn't been able to sleep - it had occurred to her that she should ask him if it was possible that they'd visit each other during the holidays. She'd made up her mind that, if she saw Raiden at the Feast, she was going to talk to him. Or not?

Well, Kiri could see that Raiden was not there yet. She felt a slight pang of disappointment at that despite her nervousness. It was still quite early, though, many people were still on their way... and he wouldn't hide away in the Slytherin dormitory to avoid seeing her, would he? Kiri slid onto the bench and looked around. Students were talking among each other excitedly everywhere; especially the younger ones hurried from table to table. There were a row of slightly downcast and sad faces as well, though. Most of those belonged to older students. Kiri guessed that they were either seventh years who would not return to Hogwarts, or their sixth year friends.

Similarly, the professors who'd arrived at the staff table so far did not appear too happy, either. Kiri could plainly see why. The slightly raised seat in the middle was conspicuously empty. Kiri wondered what was happening with regards to Professor Bontecou, and Professor Lupa, too. The rumours she'd heard had become more outlandish every time someone had told her something. The only thing that was clear was that the two professors were being treated at St Mungo's, but whether either of them would return next term, no one could say. She continued watching in silence.

While hopping over to the table, he found something shiiiiiny on the floor. OH! A galleon! Muuuust've been the one he was throwing at at he Big Bad Wolf. Kneeling down and picking it up, he hoppity hopped over to the bench and eyed the food. Guh. GUH. So... tasty.

AND NO LUXURIOUS FOOD FOR THREE WHOLE MONTHS...?!?!?

Summer was a paaaain and he got a goblet of butterbeer and started drinking, wondering if the next term would be better than this one. Ouuuut from his robes, he took out... what seemed to be an ordinary camera. He'd gotten it for Christmas and found no use for it, but he was going to take as maaaany shots to the graduating people.

Yuuhhh huh.

AND THEN. EW. EWWWW. EW.

A rabid girl sat next to him.

Reese.

He gave her a look in the eyes. "Baaaack OFFFF, Reeseee. You've probably snogged your silly witty boyfriend by now and've gotten about a bajillion cooties. Now SHOO! SHOOOO!"

He swung his camera at her--well not really AT her, but just close enough to make her BAAACK OFFFFF.

Lettie skipped her way into the Great Hall and took a seat near the middle of the table. "That was a quick term wasn't it?" She asked nobody in particular and brought her new bookbag to her lap and took out a couple of magazines.
Ornlu soon appeared and hopped up next to his master's lap, and started to purr loudly.
'I can't wait until I go home.' The girl thought to herself and started to tear some pictures from the reading material in order to create some sort of mesh of images for her room back home in Skye.

Reese stared at her pumpkin juice as she thought about heading over to the Gryffindor table. She was usually always over there with Anna during the feasts, beginning of the term and the end of the term! Yet, she didn't feel like walking over there right now. After staring at her pumpkin juice for a few seconds, she finally picked it back up and took a few more drinks and that's when Cam spoke up...

Snogged your silly witty boyfriend? She tried as hard as she could not to let the pumpkin juice in her mouth accidentally go all over Cam...in shock, of course. She wouldn't intentionally spray Cam with pumpkin juice. Without letting any juice escape her mouth, she swallowed and then turned her complete attention to Cam.

"Who told you I got a boyfriend?" She asked him. "And, hellllo! I already had my cootie shot, Cam. Remember? I also have the shirt you gave me to prove it." She had the shirt somewhere in her trunk. It would probably take her forever to find it, but she did have it! Also, she's only worn that shirt once since Cam gave it to her. So, it probably at the bottom of her trunk.

She moved her head a little bit out of the way when Cam started swinging his camera at her. True, it wasn't that close to her, but it still could 'accidentally' hit her in the head...knowing Cam.

Phew. Miles sighed and smiled at Shana, hoping that she wouldn't think that he was acting very boy-like. They couldn't have that now, could they? Hehe. "I'm sorry. I guess I was -." Miles cut himself off as he listened to what she next said. "You did WHAT?" He said in a shocked tone, and lifted her off of his lap. WHUUUT? She had put glue on his trousers and now he was .. uh oh.

Sat on the bench.

Wow. She really had gone to great lengths to make sure he literally never left. As Miles tried to stand up, his trousers violently pulled him back to a sitting position. "URRRRGH. GIRLS." He groaned, trying to stand up once more, though making sure he didn't rip his trousers. No one wanted to see his underwear. "What happens when everyone goes home on the train and they close the school? I wait here until you all come back again?" He tried to laugh, but the glue on his trousers and the bench kind of refrained him from doing so.

Who told him that she'd gotten a boyfriend?! Well he didn't want to rat out the portraits--THEY WERE HIS FRIENDS and he was NOT going to let Reese eat them all, raw and in one bite. He just stared at her for a few seconds, thinking up of a good excuse that would cover it all.

Poke.

S'right, random poke to stall. "Well, Reeese, YOUUU were the one that told me. Don't'chaa remember??" he said as if it were the truth and eyed her. Ohhhh. The t-shirt. Last Christmas. EEEEEP he forgot she still had it! "Well, there's EXCEPTIONS, Reeseeeeee, when you have a boyfriend!" He wasn't a cootie-ologist but eeeehhh.

He continued flailing his camera riiight in front of her, when... BAANGG! The camera had hit her riiiight at the side of her head.

"...That didn't just happen." ZOMG WHAT IF HE HIT HER TOO HARD RIGHT THERE AND SHE WOULD BE IN SOME SORT OF A COMAAAA?!
