Lettie half ran into the great hall, wondering why it seemed that all the Slytherin's were ushered inside. She had her Maine Coon, Ornlu, in her arms, still slightly damp, but much better than before.
She looked around, spotting several familiar faces before taking a seat next to Ott, and sighed heavily. "Ott, do they know what's happened?" All of her things must be nearly destroyed by now...her parent's were going to be so mad at her.

Iris was getting extremely tired, she just wanted to go to bed. Or some nice hot chocolate. But she couldn't see any on the table. "oh well, I'll have to go without." she thought to herself.

"Our Head of House, came into the common room and told us to head to the Great Hall. So they do know." he says with a nod, shivering with cold. He wishes someone could help him...

"I'm glad you got out safely. Were you in the dorms?"

Reese turned back to the table after looking around the Great Hall for some of her friend. Sadly, there weren't any around. She then noticed that Kevin had some coffee and grinned. "Hey Kevin, can you pass that-" She was cut mid sentence when she heard upcoming footsteps coming towards her. Oh, boy. Oh, boy. She hoped that was Miles. She's been wanting to talk to him since school started. The last time she caught up with her ~~Teddy Bear~~ Miles Parker was during the Lima and the Lemurs tour. And that, my dear, was a long time ago.

She turned around in her seat and when she spotted Shana, she growled. She didn't WANT to talk. She knew that was the reason to why she was here and not down at the other end of the table...far far FAR away from Reese. Crossing her arms, she nodded when Shana asked if she could sit here. "You may sit," she sneered and as she said that, she herself stood up, "You sit here...I'll go sit down at the other end of the table. And, Miller, there is nothing to talk about or explain. I don't feel like talking about what happened at the lake. Okay? Okay! " She turned on her wet, squeaky heels and headed down to the opposite end of the table.

When she got to the other end, she sat down and looked back at Kevin. "Can you pass some of that coffee this way? Please and thank you," she told him as she tried to put on the best smile she could make.

Nodding again, with his teeth chattering, he takes another long drink of soup, "I was in the common room dra... I mean reading my transfiguration book for ummm... the homework. When all of a sudden my feet were freezing cold, and soaking wet. I put everything away, and looked around realizing the water was getting higher. By the time I got to the door, it was up to my waist."

"I'm glad he got out of there safely though. I hope any pets got out safely honestly."

"To your waist?" Oh goodness, this wasn't good. What if somebody was still in there? "Is something wrong with plumbing or something, or--or the lake?" Shana siighed,she smiled at Kevin trying to force away the tears.She didn't sit down,she wouldn't.No NEEVAAH! She knew it would make Reese REEEAL angry at her.But they couldn't go on living like this,not being friends,Shana hated it.She siighed and took a deep breath then began to walk after Reese.

WAIT!? she shrugged her shoulders and siighed.This wasn't going to work.Reese was going to get really annoyed Shana would end up running off,they would never speak again and end up not being friends.And Shana didn't want that to happen.She'd be really sad if it did,Reese was her Role model and Role Models weren't things you could just go and buy at the super-market.And besides even if you could buy and new one Shana didn't want a new one,Reese was her role model and that would never change.

"Yes, and of course I fell in, trying to get to the door. That's why I'm drenched..." shaking his head, slightly as to not get her wet too. "I heard the prefects had checked all the rooms, and dorms. So hopefully no one is up there."

"The only one I know is Tergeo but I'm afraid after what happened the first time I used it by cutting a circle out of my desk in transfiguration, I might set my robes on fire this time..." with a grim look he adds "I'd rather be wet, then on fire."

EEEEE.

The Slytherin table. It was the symbol to a new term at Hogwarts. Miles liked that.

With his hands in his pockets, Miles walked into the great hall and straight towards the greeeen table. He suddenly noticed two of his good friends, Reese and Shana, though ... they were arguing!? Not on his watch. He quickened his pace and put a hand on each of their shoulders. "Heloooo." Miles smiled at both of them and pushed them both slightly to the side, so he could sit between them. Hehe. Cheeky. "Whatcha doin'?" He asked quite seriously.

"Ohhh..." Lettie looked him over, and of course, he was soaking wet. "You poor thing." She added and took out her wand. Tergeo was good, but the hot air charm was safer. Lettie moved her wand over Ott's clothing, drying off whatever water she could. At least it was working.
"I hear that Tergeo is better for more solid things...but we'll have to experiment one day and find out I guess." She moved onto the boy's right sleeve, "Wet is certainly much better than setting yourself on fire. Though if you did, you could jump in the common room."

Iris watched the owl land in front of Aaron. She looked down at luna ad put a finer around her collar, just incase she dived for the owl. Now that would be embarassing.

Once Aaron had sent the owl back off she asked him, "Just your mum and dad? "

Giving her a smile, he thanks her. "I appreciate that. But that is true, but I think then I'd be back at square one of being wet again."

Sitting there warming up quickly now that he's dry. He takes a drink of some hot chocolate. His eyes, suddenly grow to saucers. "All my potion supplies, cauldron, everything..." he mutters. "Some of that was special ordered..."

Iris laughed, "yeah I don't think I'll tell my mum about it... bot any time soon at least - if I can get all of my stuff magicked back to their original state then I have no need to tell them!" Iris said smiling and letting go of luna's collar, who then went into her basket and curled up.
