Oh no, she looked at Evangeline as she called for their robes. This was her favorite set. It had a mirror and wand holster built right into the sides. It would take her all day to fix another set of robes up that way. She was horrible at sewing charms.

She had long been dry, and she had only fallen down when the water was two inches high.

And her shoes! Her lace up green Converse with her silver laces. This what what you get when you try to go to class looking cute. She pulled off her robes and started to unlace her shoes. She took her time savoring her shoes a bit longer. She had just bought these.

It was enough to make a fashionista cry!

Carrie Bradshaw never had to suffer for fashion like this.

She pulled her shoes off and wiggled her toes on her green ankle socks with the little silver ball at the end of them and grudgingly pulled them off as well.

She bet the Bunzinator flooded the dungeons to try and destroy her wardrobe. Well no the flood had started in Karimerz office and it was more likely someone was trying to kill the old man, and she didn't blame them. He was scary. Her grandmother would be scared of him and her grandmother had made dementor cry, well thats what she heard anyways.

She tip toed across the cold floor of the Great Hall and dropped her robes, shoes and socks on the growing pile. She sat down on the bench and pulled out another pair of socks and her low top Converse.

She shrugged when a first year looked at her. "You have to be prepared for any fashion emergency." She told her.

Kiri sighed into Raiden's robes. He'd leaned in further, and now their cheeks were actually touching! Separated by Kiri's hair, that is. But she could feel his skin, smooth and cool - in comparison, hers felt as if it was about to melt, a curious discrepancy seeing as how cold her toes and feet were by now. Her other hand crept up and coiled itself around Raiden's neck, pulling him in still closer.

She clung to him like that for a few more seconds, determined to remember every bit of it once they parted. Then, with another sigh, one of regret this time, Kiri let go. "Thank you," she said quietly, smiling at him, a little embarrassed. "I'm feeling lots better now." She reached down and patted the cat which was now getting comfortable on Raiden's lap.
Now that the world containing her and Raiden and the world containing everything else had merged again, Kiri began to wonder what would happen next. Her shoes, socks and robes had disappeared, so someone had picked them up while she'd been busy hugging Raiden. (Hugging him!)

The professors had said that the Slytherins would move to the Observatory for the time being. Kiri liked the Astronomy Tower, obviously, but was there even enough room up there for all of them? How would they divide up the room so that boys and girls would keep to themselves and have some privacy? Well, she was sure something would be worked out. No one had mentioned anything about the students' possessions that were still down in the Dungeons, but maybe her precious books would be saved. As a matter of fact, she didn't even know if the dormitories were flooded.
What Kiri needed now was a little bit of... normality! "So, err... What's your cat's name?" she asked.

Ooooh, there was no rest with this job was there? Apparently not. He'd barely had ten minutes to himself and already Miss Caroline had more work. Well, at least he'd be out like a light tonight. If he was allowed to go to sleep that was. Eh.

So it was off to the Hospital Wing they were going. Okie Dokie. "I suppose we should follow her," Clifford mumbled hopping on one foot as he tried to remove the shoe and sock from the other. "I think the poor woman's going a little loopy."

Hmph! It was so bloody typical that this would happen to the Slytherins! All bad karma seemed to come their way. And Henry was missing! Disappeared during all the commotion. The poor wee dear could swim but that wasn't the point. He'd be cold and frightened and looking for his mummy.

Ems scowled a scowl almost to rival her cousin as they were told to remove their socks, shoes and outerwear. It was already bloody cold as it was! She begrudgingly did so, and immediately began to shiver. This probably had absolutely nothing to do with the flooding however – Ems was always cold. She reached out for her Pepperup potion and took a small cautious sip. It warmed her immediately and she started to relax a little, sitting back and looking around at the other students and watched them with vague interest.

She smirked over at her niece when she saw how miserable she looked at the prospect of giving up some of her clothing. That girl was as vain as a muggle trapped in one of those scary mirror maze thingies.

"I have no idea, but i hope they fix it soon, or at least some where for us to sleep, an empty classroom or anything, i don't care - i just need to sleep before i pass out!" Iris said, yawning.


"yeah, I hope your right about my doll... the professors here are all very talented, so i reckon one of them will be able to help us!" Iris said, yawning again.

Iris listened as Aaron put his opinion into her and Grace's discussion - so far his made the most sense, "yeah your right. I hope." She said smiling at him, "I'm really just gonna go to sleep now. if i do fall asleep wake me up when the dungeons are dry. Or when I can get some hot chocolate." Iris said, grinning.

"Guess they'll bring some sleeping bags here. Also they wanted us to remove wet and dirty clothes as well, but I'm not sure if we should still do it." Grace said.

Hearing that Lyra and Sydney had already done their transfiguration homework, Grace decided to ask Iris and Aaron. "Have you done any of homework?" she asked. They now had three homework. All needed to be done in a week. School was still going and this year despite the disaster, Slytherin really had a chance to win the Cup.

Vanessa smiled as she handed the younger prefect the water, hopefully the girl would be okay now, especially with the blanket around her. But once she had the pepper-up potion it would mean that she would be warmer, which would reassure Vanessa a lot more.
"Umm yes...everyone who was in the water had to have one." She nodded, and it would make her feel better.
As the healer came back, Vanessa listened to her. Any prefects that wanted to help? Well..is was really not doing much, and it would probably help anyway.

"Rachel...I'm gonna go and help in the hospital wing okay? You should get a pepper-up potion." Vanessa nodded as she got up, from where she was sitting, and looked across, to see if she could see Anna. Ahh there she was leaving the hufflepuff table, smiling one more at Rachel, Vanessa turned around, and headed after Anna.

Aaron smiled at Iris as she put her head on the table to go to sleep. He then turned to Grace.

"I was about to go do my transfiguration homework when the common room started flooding. So i ever got the chance." Aaron thought he might as well practice, so he took out a piece of paper and his wand. He put the piece of paper on the table. "What's the spell to make things dissapear, again?" He asked Grace. He forgot what it was.

'Yay! Aaron didn't do too! Finally, somebody to do it with.' Grace thought happily. "So, we're doing it here then? I think we should try it outside. I wasn't the best at this spell and I don't want to set our only table on fire either." she said, trying to cover her foolishness with a faint smile. "Aand... If I don't remember wrong, the word is 'Evanesco.' "

"I've done the transfiguration one, and had already gone and sent it in. I'd started the Arithmancy one but it will be just pulp in the common room by now, and I haven't even thought about starting the Care of Magical creatures one. I'm not in the mood to draw." Iris said, sighing, What about you Aaron?"

"evanesco!" Iris called to Aaron, her head still on the table.

Aaron smiled. "Well, they won't let us leave. And our homework IS doing it outside. So I figured we'd just practice here. And don't worry, I'm awful at all these simple spells." Aaron waved his wand. "Evanesco!" Nothing happened. "No shock there," he said with a grin. "EVANESCO!" The paper set on fire and then shriveled up and dissapeared in a cloud of smoke. "*cough cough cough cough* Does that count?" He said with a smile putting water on the black spot on the table.

Iris wrinkled her nose at the smell "eugh Aaron! use some thing that can't set on fire! like some pumpkin juice!" she said, not lifting her head off the table, "but still mention that in your written work, you'll get points for understanding that you um.. screwed up, hehe it did dissapear though so yeah, it counts. just try to perfect it now." she said, trying not to laugh at his wand work.

Maan, when did all these people do their homework? Grace was so late!"Did the professor say anything about your homework?" she asked. Hopefully, Iris'd won them 5 points. "I don't plan to do C.O.M.C. I didn't even attend the class." she said. Nature. Not something she is used to.
"Oh, sure." Grace answered. She watched Aaron's attemps. When the paper burnt down, she was laughing. "Well, what had the professor said at the class? 'Just disappear it!' I'd give ten points to that." She tore some paper too. "Now, my turn." she said and laid the paper somewhere near water.

"Agree with Iris, you definately should include. Only I'm not sure where you screwed up..." she said after Iris with a grin.

"well, you can help me with it later then - once we've helped Aaron and once you've done your's of course." Iris said, sitting up again, "I can't sleep."

"It's not ment to set on fire - that's the only thing that went wrong with it Grace." Iris said, smiling at Aaron and Grace, hoping she hadn't hurt Aaron's feelings by wording it as she had done.

Rachel was feeling better. Much better. So much better, in fact, that she found that other than a general sense of fatigue - which she always had, even when the dungeons weren't flooded - she was perfectly fine. The magical properties of water... Someone should totally research that! "Ok, fine - but I'm feeling a lot better," she said and looked for someone who might possibly have some doses of Pepper-Up potion.

"Yep, go ahead. I'll take it from here," she said and watched the older Prefect head out of the Great Hall. Getting up, she remembered what Kazi had announced and headed towards the Ravenclaw table to remove her outer clothes - and after that, she would follow Vanessa and get some Pepper-Up potion... Bleh.

Aaron smiled, "I guess I'll include it. And I screwed up when my parents gave birth to me. It runs in my family to screw up simple spells." He laughed. "I have no idea ow my dad is part of the magical catastrophe office at the ministry." He then looked at Iris about to give it a go. "You'll probably do better than me."

Iris looked at Aaron, "You did not screw up by being born Aaron! Maybe he gives them an insight of how the accidents happen?" Iris joked, " Better in what ?" she asked him

"With C.O.M.C? I didn't even attend the class, but if I can be of help, sure. Will you do Arithmancy? I wanna do that but not sure how to..." Grace said and laughed at Iris' rest of comment on Aaron's spell. "Oh, I can be shut up if you want to sleep." she said. She too wanted to sleep but didn't even bother trying with all that noise.
"Oh, don't worry. Not only you. My family is allergic to nature. All my family messed with CoMC. And I won't even try." she said. She was a fan of the thought of 'Animals are cuter when they're away.'

"yeah, with that... All I have to do is, um... draw what happened or describe it in alot of detail..." she said smiling, "oh, we were working with Nifflers... cute little things they were." Iris added, "Nah... I'm too awake to sleep, even though i want to sleep." Iris said, completely confusing herself with that comment.

"well how do you know that you aren't the randomer in the family who's just AMAZING at CoMC? ... " Iris asked, "you never know until you try!"

"Oh... It sounds easy. Yeah, I can help." Grace said. "Nope. While just walking in the street, dogs always follow me and make some unfriendly things. Obviously I'm not animals' best friend, don't you think?" she said, shooking her head. Mosquitos always happened to bite her too. No, absolutely not a randomer in the family.

"yeah, I guess your right..." Iris laughed, "ah well... never mind then eh?"

Evangeline could've sworn she had just sat down and already was the staff requesting her to stand up. My goodness. If it wasn't for the fact she couldnt - in all her conscience - leave all the work to Clifford and leave him alone with Anna, she would've just done a drama queen and pretend to faint. Eh.

Shrugging her robes off her shoulders, Evangeline nodded at Clifford's words and stood up when she realised something. She was barefoot! Shoeless and sockless! "There's no way I'll walk up to the third floor barefoot!" She told Clifford in a whisper, a shudder running through her at the thought alone. "This floor must be full of germs!" EWWW! Disgusting. First mouses, then slimy water, now walking barefoot around the castle.

Hogwarts was becoming so unhygienic.

Full of germs? Clifford's eyebrows shot up at Evangeline's germ outburst. Okaaaay. She did realise she'd just waded through dirty, slimy lake water, right? That she'd probably swallowed a few mouthfuls of the murky water. And now she was worried about walking barefoot through the castle!?

"I'm sure you'll be fine, Evie," the seventh year shook his head in amusement as he removed his left shoe and sock and then, without looking, flung all his clothing toward the bench. Socks at the table people eat at.. now THAT had to be unhygienic.. 'specially with HIS stinky socks. Bwaha. "I doubt the germs are going to eat your feet or anything, and if they do.. well, lucky we'll be in the Hospital Wing, right?" And with a playful wink, Clifford grabbed a hold of Evangeline's hand and tugged her toward the main doors before she could protest. Hah!

Shana rolled her eyes.Yeah her shoes were all soggy but why did she have to take them off ? She shrugged and took off her shoes,the her socks followed by her robe.She put them neatly on the floor in a pile infront of her and waited for someone to come and collect them.

She glanced over at her aunt shivering once she had removed her robes and things. Paris maybe tiny but she was skinny as a bean pole like Emily was. She had a pretty nice shape brewing under her robes, but Emily was still growing. She wanted to hug her aunt to help keep her warm.

Other than her aunt Tomasina, Paris loved Emily like a big sister. She was named after her. But she saw that she was taking the pepperup potion.

She cast a forlorn look at her shoes and robes on the pile headed for the laundry she really hoped. Her fingers ached to lace up her high top Converse. "I just bought those," she whined to no one in particular. She was going to have to do some serious shopping over the Christmas holiday to make up for this.
