Grace was thinking that too but she found it a little funny to tell someone else. "Yeah, I'm saying that too. The Headmaster can't deal with flood every year, so he must've done his best. But also it may be an accident, 'cos you know, Slytherin is mostly purebloods. Not many wizards would shed pureblood, would they?" She was whispering too. She then shook her hand as if it was nothing important and laughed. "And I've fictionalised much. Probably and more likely it's nothing. The magic must've worn off or something." There were many stuff in the lake, right? And tons of water... She now knew magic was temporary. Nevertheless, she couldn't help imagining herself fighting against some evil forces. She quietly chuckled. That was worth to see.

Hayley continued her breathing exercises to know avail...the panic was getting greater and greater! "not...*wheeze* everyone in slytherine *wheeze* is a pureblood! *wheezewheezewheeze!*" Her panic attack was building up steadily..it had reached the point where she felt like someone whas thursting a knife through her heart....breath in breath out! Oh Merlins pretty pink bloomers! This was not working! Hayley clutched at her chest, looking around for someone she knew....*wheeze wheeze*

Jude was feeling much better now, from the Pepperup potion administered earlier. He was still shaking with cold, and damp. The towels were now both wet, and he really wanted an older student. He wanted the heating, or water siphoning, spell to be performed on him, but he didn't know how. Sadface. And now the drama between the nurse intern and Professor... Masterson, he believed it was, was over. He couldn't even get that amusement anymore. Moresadface.

Looking around, he tried to see a student who might could help him. Instead, he spotted Hayley, the smaller girl he'd befriended at the feast. A small smile appeared on his lips and he lifted a cold, small, purple hand to wave at her.

Now, back to finding an older student...

Miles calmed down as he looked back and forth at Shana and Reese. "Something?" He raised and eyebrow as his voice went higher in interest. "Oh." Miles was a little dissapointed as Reese didn't really say what was actually bugging her. But if asking her what was bugging her, bugged her, and made her shout and stuff again, then he would shut up. "Well, can't you put it behind you?" He smiled a little. Pleeeease don't get angry.

Cari couldn't even count the things that made no sense about what she had just heard. The only thing that made any sense at all was the part about potion interactions, but she hadn't met Professor Kazimeriz before that summer, Ethan was NOT her beau. How ridiculous. She certainly didn't study potions under Professor Slughorn, she had taken them under Professor Airlia and Professor Branxton, and she hadn't taken them at the same time as Professor Kazimeriz, that would have been well a long bloody time ago.

And go back from where she came from? Have her memory erased? Quit?

I don't THINK so!

"I'll admit, that wading through the water to rescue students in the Detention Cells is an experience I'd rather not keep with me, but I see no reason quit my post or have my memory modified." She turned on her heal to see her other patients, leaving him with an instruction, "90 minutes Professor. If you don't take it, I'll know."

Grace didn't think of such a reaction. "Yeah not everyone but... I-I don't reckon the attacker'd seperate the half-halves. He'd definately not attack Slytherin." she tried to say. She knew hugging tightly'd stop it but hearing the Nurse, she let her go. She felt like she was having a nightmare. She wanted her calm neighbourhood and home!

Hearing his name, Jude turned his head to see Hayley, turning red and looking rather flustered, being squeezed tightly by a strange girl, and she didn't look to be enjoying it. She looked like she needed help, but Jude was in no shape to deliver it.

Slipping her hand into his, Vanessa waited for his reaction. Ahh there it was. Oh Dear. He looked a little shocked. She hoped he wasn't going to get wet. "Serves you right for spending so little time in you're common room." Vannie giggled, although she was pretty happy about it right now. She didnt want her boyfriend to drown.
"Nope...Im not wet." She smiled at him. She was glad that she had found him. "I dunno...." She shrugged. She just hoped her friends.

Glancing at the other she smiled at him, ignoring what they were talking about. They didnt need to be nosy in their business. "have you two had a pepper-up potion?" She asked, wanting to make sure that they were okay.

When she heard Cliffords voice, she turned to face him and smiled. "Yeah..we're fine." Vanessa nodded, noticing something odd. "Where's Evie?" She asked, sounding worried. Her friend was okay wasn't she?

Hayley's eyes popped wide open as she was suddenly squeezed tightly...she could also hear people yelling...oh noes! Was someone DYING!? Oh no! That was JUDE'S voice! "Gerrooff me!" Hayley said to the girl squeezing her...Hayleys' panic attack had subsided Weird... but now she was CERTAIN that Jude was being keeled! "I'm commin JUUUDE!" she yelled, breaking free of Grace's deathgrip and running towards Jude.

It wasn't good that Vanessa went and asked about Evangeline though and face crinkling unhappily, Clifford heaved a sigh. Aaron had just been sitting there with his head on the table. He might have fell asleep. He looked up and noticed the nurse was there handing out potions to everyone. Clifford was handing them out, too.

"Hey, Clifford." Aaron said picking his head up, "I need one of those." Why were they all taking it? "What do these do?"

Jude's eyes went wide as Clifford went toward Hayley and as Hayley flew towards him... he could just see a collision happening in the VERY near future. "Oh nooooo!!!! "Haylehh wha're ya doin'?"" he said loudly and tried to stand up. He ended up standing on his blanket while trying to get off the floor and was quickly pulled back down with a loud resounding "OOF!!!" emitting from his face as he went down. Great. Just what he needed.

Miles had only met Cam once. He remembered him being the type of guy who wasn't CRAZY about girls, so this came quite a shock to him. Miles quickly turned to Reese. "You kissed Cam? N'aaaw." He cooed, but trying not to make a big deal of it. "So, that's it then?" It wasn't as mega as he'd thought it would be. Little children trying to understadn these odd feelings of love. Boooring!

Coming over here obviously hadn't been one of his better ideas. This girl - she was clearly off her rocker. Maybe she was in some sort of state of shock or something? She sure was acting like she was crazy anyway. Before he knew what was happening, the crazy girl was running straight for him.

... and from there everything seemed to happen in slow motion.

The girl made contact with his midriff... the tray of pepper-up potions was flying through the air.. Clifford landed on the floor, arms and legs tangled with that of a much smaller person.. and then it started raining red potion.

It was all happening so fast. Was the water so cold that he was literally frozen in time? No, probably not, but any excuse for standing around like a frozen fish stick was good enough for him.

Pepperup potion? Never heard of such a thing. But if all the cool kids were drinking it...

Bottoms up! Sputtering and spitting from the revolting taste, Helios was almost ready to wretch when the warmth washed over him. His hair seemed to go from tarnished gold to bright sunlight, though it may have just been a trick of the light. "Thank you.." The boy muttered, his tortured tongue reluctant to form words.

That potion really did work! Even his clothes felt less damp. Looking down to make sure he still had all his toes, the Greek removed his dripping sandels. There would be Hades to pay if they were ruined. Hermes footwear didn't come cheap, ya know?

But enough about him, he wasn't in the water nearly as long as the potions master. Though it seemed his concern was not needed. The professor seemed to be his crotchety, old self. Taking his place near Kaz, Helios surveyed the gathering, giving Truebridge a suspicious look in the process.

The stinging liquid was in her eyes, nose, mouth, and everywhere else...Oh my flarb! This isn't how it's supposed to end! I swore to myself that if I died young it would be a heroic death! "Getoffgetoffgetoff!" Hayley couldn't see who her attacker was, her eyes were closed because of the burning liquid, "Why are you DOOING THIS!?" She was coughing and spluttering and sneezing....her eyes were watering profusely (she was NOT crying!). This killing potion the murderous monster was using was definately causing a slow painful death. "Juuude" she called weakly.

Kiri sat at the end of the table, shivering slightly. She watched the proceedings numbly, not quite sure of what had happened, not quite sure of what was happening. Somehow, it didn't register. One of her worst fears was in fact drowning, and wading through dungeons that were halfway filled with water - and not knowing why - had brought out that fear in full strength. Obviously.

She'd had enough presence of mind (or instinct) to grab Sol, her pygmy puff, before hurriedly being ushered out of the common room, and now she removed him from her pocket and put him on the table. His fur was soggy, but he didn't seem to be hurt. He looked like a tennis ball now.
Kiri looked around blearily. For the first time since coming to Hogwarts, she realised that the Slytherin Common Room was... below the lake! Panicky, she grabbed Sol to calm herself. The little pygmy puff squeaked in protest at being handled so roughly, but Kiri hardly noticed. Another thought, as chilling as the water of the lake, had just occurred to her. What if the teachers had forgotten someone down there?! Sure, they weren't running around frantically or doing anything else that would indicate that someone was missing, but Kiri began looking up and down the Slytherin table to see if everyone she knew was accounted for.
