Kevin sat at the table and sighed the girl he was talking to had stopped talking to him and basically he was wondering why the feast was lasting so long he knew he had to get up and make more friends because his leg was really aching him

Reese smirked. "They looked crazy? Well, you HAVE to be crazy to loose points before the term even stars," she said, looking up at the staff table- to Jake. Why, oh, WHY did he have to go and get himself into trouble with Professor Kazimeriz? That's like the worse thing you could ever do right about now. She sighed and looked back to Jack, when he said Gryffindors were mentally unstable. "Hey, not all Gryffindors are mentally unstable. Just some of them are," she corrected him with a smile. She knew he was joking, but she had an urge to state that.

"I don't have a lot of first year friend. I tend to scare first years away from me," she said with a nod. Like, Jack Moiser last term. She scared that poor little boy to death. Yet, he MADE her scare him. If that boy didn't mess with her and her friends, he wouldn't have been threatened or anything.

Reese moved away from Jack just a little bit when he started getting all excited. This is the first time she has EVER, in her whole entire life, seen someone who was obsessed with NASA and the moon and the stars. "Yeah, it was interesting. I've never actually talked to someone about the stars and stuff," she told him, "Truthfully speaking, I've never seen someone who was obsessed with this kind of stuff. " She took another bite of her muffin and then sat the rest of the muffin on her plate. She didn't feel like eating anymore of it.

Iris laughed at Aarons answer, he always had a funny answer for EVERYTHING along with the logical answer too.. "i reckon its probably not the last one, Aaron." she laughed

"Eh, probably," Aaron said sarcastically. He then gave her a smile that said, 'Yeah, I know.' Where WAS the headmaster? Why hasn't he given his speech yet? Why does this bug me so much?

"What do you reckon he'll say, the headmaster?" he asked Iris.

"meh... i dunno, I think he will welcome us all, go one about some school rules, make afew anouncements, introduce that clifford and who ever is head girl and then send us off to bed..." she said, adding "hopefully" with a yawn

Just as she finished that, the headmaster gave his speech. Nothing special, welcome to Hogwarts yaddah, yaddah, yaddah. Dark forest is off limits, yaddah, yaddah, yaddah. And then he said the magic words. "Please follow your prefects to your common rooms." FINALLY!!!

Aaron basically turned to everybody and said, "C'MON, LET'S GO!!!"

Iris laughed and got up and followed the other people out of the Great hall and found herself staring at Aarons back, for no apparent reason.

"I can't wait to learn new spells, make potions, learn about the different creatures of our magical world ..." Sydney sighed. "Secret passageways?? How do you know there are secret passageways in this castle?" She said raising her eyebrow. She leaned a little towards Lyra's ears, "If there are any, then we are going to have a lot of fun.." Sydney whispered with a light chuckle. "And don't worry about being late for classes, i'll wake you up as I love to get up early." She said with a smile. "I think the headmistress will tell about the head of house, our prefects etc once she is ready for the speech" Sydney said glancing at the staff table.

After a few minutes, the headmistress gave her welcome speech & asked the students to follow the prefects to their respective common rooms. Sydney jumped from the bench at once & snagged her bag "Lyra lets go!" She said grabbing her hand.

Xehanna walked into the Great Hall and over to the slytherin table. She looked for a seat and noticed a boy sitting alone and looking quite sad. she walked over to him and sat down. "Hi there. You seem a little down." she said turning her head sideways, her eyes turning a tantalizing teal in curiosity.

Ses Koto danced his way down to the Slytherin table. He yelled out, "YO, YO, YO, my fellow Slytherin franz!" He sat down excitedly with a silly grin on his face, chomping down food as he went.
