Iris just looked at him, slightly embarrassed, that was an awkard moment... "um, I dunno , i fancy pasta" she said, " i like pasta, and a lot of other italian foods" she said smiling, and taking a sip of pumpkin juice.

FOOOD GLORIOUS FOOOD. We're anxious to try it! Food. Surviving for 3 months without Hogwartian food was probably the worst starvation a child could ever have! Now... his stomach was alive again. It was reborn, as if it had died just a few months ago at the feast at the end of the term... but now... now everything was just purhhhfect! "Threeeee banquets a daaaay, our favorite diet!" Quickly he managed to find a seat in the tremendously huge table and looked around, actually noticing that a lot more Slytherins were sorted this term. Which was good--because lyke, last term was horrible with the low participation. zomg ppl dis days... yeah

He started to take his fork and spoon and just started eating--not fast, because he wanted to savor every bit of food even if it was unlimited. That was the best part of Hogwarts, you didn't have to pay anything. Free food = totally awesome place.

After finishing with his chicken, he got more chicken. He was eating A LOT of chicken for the night and he didn't care if he got fat at all.

Iris laughed at the boy who was singing some of the lines from that old musical called Oliver and spooned some pasta onto her plate.

"Uh-huh, I'm okay," Kiri said, pushing the bowl away and digging into the pudding. She didn't feel like eating anything else, and the thought of spreading Jude's snot getting all over her food didn't make her any hungrier. She ate two spoonfuls, then turned towards Raiden and said, quietly. "Don't be sorry. I... I came over for you. I didn't want you to get hurt or anything. Cause you didn't feel well on the train."

On Raiden's other side, the other boy, whose name seemed to be Pietro, was talking animatedly, all the while chomping on some chicken with every sign of enjoyment.
Suddenly, Kiri felt completely exhausted. She'd been worried about Raiden on the train, she'd been worried about him here, in the Great Hall. Her hands and robes were dirty. She swallowed another few spoonfuls of pudding, then put her spoon down again. With a yawn, she grabbed her goblet and emptied it in one go. "'m tired," she mumbled, leaning against Raiden.

"Sounds good!" Just as Aaron said that, all the plates in front of them were FILLED with food and a boy next to tem was singing. Aaron laughed with Iris at him. Yes! Aaron thought in his head. And he took a piece of chicken of the plate and stuck it strait in his mouth. Yum!!!

"Finawwy," he said swallowing his food. "I am STARVING." And he started shoveling more food down his throat.

Smiling, the older girl replied, "I'm Corwyn, fourth year student, but first year here."

Taking another bit of potatos she asked, "Do you have nay brothers or sisters that have been to Hogwarts already? So you know your way around a bit?" Cor wasnt very picky about the ages of her friends, so what if the kid was three years younger than her? They were both new and it was nice having someone to explore with.


Cor spotted Steven and Nancy at the table and waved hello, but didnt say anything when she saw the look on Steven's face, though because she missed him looking at the others, she thought he was glaring at her.

Lyra grabbed a plate of chicken wings and placed a few on her own plate, grabbed smashed potatos and some vegetables, she hated vegetables but had learned from her father that it was better to just eat it , it had become more of a habit for her. She made a disgusting face before putting it in her mouth and couldn't help but think that it was actually really good. She grabbed her goblet of pumpkin juice and drank it empty and after she had put the goblet back on the table she grabbed her bag and pulled out her book and looked inside it, she snickered a bit as she heard her brothers voice in her head 'no one in their right minds would take a book to anything when its not needed' but Lyra loved reading and was eager to learn more, so she flipped a page and began reading her Defence against the dark arts book.

Fallon was sitting at the Slytherin table. Further down she saw that Aaron was sitting with Iris. She asked a couple people to move and she squeezed in next to Aaron. "Hey guys! Long time no see."

Aaron saw Fallon move down next to him.

"Yeaww!!!" Aaron swallowed his food. "Slytherin!!! Alright!"

"I know! I'm so happy!" Fallon said trying to keep her excitement down a bit. She started to put some food on her plate. Once her plate was as full as possible, she started to eat. The food was the most delicious food she'd ever tasted. "This food is soooo good!" She said voicing her opinion.

Dru relaxed a little when she learnt that Corwyn was new here aswell, even scary looking older students were nice when you got to know them. Speaking of scary but really nice older students, she wondered where Irial was, she hadn't seen him after he quickly left the compartment on the train.

"Well," Dru started while helping herself to the spagetti next to her. "My brother came here in..." She paused for a moment as she made sure the spagetti was properly in the centre of her plate. "... I can't remember what year. But he's much older than me, he's about 9 years older than me."

Reese watched as more people entered the Great Hall, turning back around, she grabbed herself a cookie and began to nibble on it. She didn't like being by herself, not at all. She took another bite of her cookie and glanced up at the staff table. Seeing Jake up there with Professor Kazimeriz, she almost choked on her food. What the-? Jake couldn't be in trouble! It was just the first day of being in school.

Siiiiigh.

She could tell this was going to be a hectic year, since people at the Gryfindor table were in trouble, now people at the Hufflepuff table were getting in trouble. Can't people just eat in peace? Yes, this was coming from the person that got in so much trouble last year. But, like she said before, she was going to be on her best behavior. Since, she had Jack on her back and everything. Reese Upstead was NOT going to get in trouble...hopefully.

She took her eyes off the staff table when she noticed a familiar face sit down from her. Finishing off her cookie, she stood up and headed down towards Cam, sitting down beside him. "Hungry?" She asked, grinning slightly. Cam was just eating chicken after chicken. Who knew such a little boy could take in so much chicken?

Nodding, he agrees entirely. "I can't wait until then either. For my ownself I mean. My father is always saying, Just wait until your my age...Just wait until you are on your own. At least we become of age at 17! Just 2 more years for me...

A laugh escapes when she accidentally laughed into her cup. "Sorry, that shouldn't have been funny, kind of messy isn't it."

"You don't really have to learn a new language after you leave...I'm bilingual, well more like trilingual... he drifts off in the end, not wanting to sound like he's boasting at all.

Roland looked around him glad to be back. In front of him was the best food he knew in the world. He really admired the house elves handy work especially as cooking was not one of his strengths. He over-heard that Gryffindor and Hufflepuff were already in minus points. He snickered a little as he spooned some Apple Crumble on to his plate.
He looked over at the Gryffindors and they certainly didn't look happy. He didn't mind some of them but they were usually brawny instead of brainy.

"I know, right? It's amazing!!!" Aaron was eating so much he had no time to breath. He took a minute to drink some pumpkin juice. He took deep breaths. "I'M ALREADY ON THIRDS!"

"Wow Aaron. You must've been starving!" Fallon was already starting to get full and her plate was still half full. She kept eating food. She took a drink of pumpkin juice and looked around the room.

Fallon saw someone sitting on her other side reading her defense againest the dark arts book. She was starting to feel like she was ready to be more open to making friends, especially with people from her own house. Fallon turned to the girl. "Hi, I'm Fallon and this is Aaron. He would introduce himself, but he is too busy stuffing his face with food."

Cam was definitely sure that he could have had heard some laughing at his direction but he was just so obsessed in his chicken eating that he didn't pay attention. Its tenderly goodness. Hogwarts chicken was way better than Muggle chicken, about 10 times better. Already finished with 3 chickens, he proceeded to eat his forth one when he heard a well... did he hear a devil? a maniac? or... maybe he just heard the evil feminine inside of his head? ZOMG IT WAS THE CHICKEN!



... wait no it wasn't.

He turned his head and found Reese Selena Upstead. REESE. SELENA. UPSTEAD. But he was in a good mood so he wasn't going to make her cry tonight. Geez was he nice these days. Yup he was. If it weren't for the heavenly-good tastin' chicken, then well she would be bit. And tackled. And bruised. And turn into the crazy woman she really was. Hehe. Yeah.

"Uh... hi?" What was he suppose to say? He couldn't think of positive things--anything really except for some bad stuff he wanted to say. "I like cheeekin." And he did.

Aaron swallowed his food a little too hard. He had to shake his head. He then looked at the girl across from them. "Hi, how's it going?" He then took a swig of pumpkin juice.

Lucy sat at the table, eating her mashed potatoes. She looked around, they seemed pretty happy. She looked up from her plate and looked towards the Gryffindor and Hufflepuff Table, where most of her friends were. Why id she have to be so cunning?!

Cookies? Brownies? No, Reese needed to eat some real food. She needed to lay low on all the junk food. Junk food was really bad for your body. Like, really really bad. She didn't want to gain wait, nor did she want to lose any. She liked the way her body looked, believe it or not.

Did she gain some self-esteem over the summer? She must have. She usually NEVER compliments on her body.

She picked up a piece of bread and looked back at Cam when he finally spoke up. "Hello," she said, trying to keep all the kindness in her voice. She was NOT going to lose her cool with Cam. She was going to be a nice little girl with him, if it scared Cam or not.

She looked at the piece of chicken and Cam's hands and then moved her eyes back to his. "I can see that," she told him with a smile, "So- ummm- did you have a great summer, Cam?" The chances of Cam having a great summer were slime. Since, the kiss and everything happened this summer. She was so regretting that kiss right now. She should have never kissed him.

Roland finished his apple crumble and pushed it away from him. He had hardly had much of a portion of anything but he was full. He crossed his arms and leaned forward on them and listened to all the commotion in the hall. People swapping stories about how much of a tan they got over the summer and denying that they had not done any work during the holidays. He smiled to himself as he was back in what seemed to him the symphony of magical life.
Even though he didn't know how Gryffindor and Hufflepuff had lost their points it still amused him.

He watched her take the letter and then read it over. More than once. He sighed a little as he stared out into space as he was waiting for either her to be upset or be secretly upset like she did. She had put the letter down as she gave it back to him. He looked over at her as he couldnt really tell what was going on over there. He was a little worried, but he didnt have to wait for long to get what he thought would come.

He picked up his letter as he put it back into its pocket."Thanks...Your amazing." he told her with sarcasm as he let out a heavy sigh. He had just lost his friend and she wanted to go around telling him that she was glad that she was gone. He knew she wouldnt be happy about it but she could of at least said nothing about how excited she was. He looked over at her as he was wondering if she was being serious. Yes she was."Seriously?" he asked her. Even Kayla would of came up with something better.

Leticia had dragged Ott all the way back to the Slytherin table before letting him go. Ornlu spotted his girl and crept up onto her lap after she had taken a seat.

She sighed, "That'll teach me to be nice to people." Her head hung a little bit. What a fiasco! Hadn't she learned that he was a mean person in Diagon Alley? Didn't she have the brains to figure out that a handshake from that Ricco boy was nothing but a trap. Apparently not. Resting her head on the table, Lettie took another deep breath and felt Ornlu rub his head against her left hand, to which Leticia stroked him lightly.

"Maybe this was my wake-up call?" She told herself and thought some more. "Maybe this is why I was put in Slytherin, and why my parents wanted me to come here. I have to grow up."

Lyra closed her Defence against the dark arts book and placed it in her bag again, so far she had read the most interesting stories in that book. She then grabbed some pudding and began eating it, while at the same time listening to the other people in the Great hall , laughing, talking about their summers or family history, she looked at the Staff table and noticed a Gryffindor student sitting there looking furious, a Hufflepuff also looking furious and, Lyra wondered what happend. Lyra saw Lettie sitting at table again and just knew something must be wrong because she had her head hanging down "Hey" she said a little nervous, hoping she wouldn't get scowled at. "what happened to your hand?" she asked and her eyes widened a little.

Mari definitely caught the sarcastic tone to Cayden's words when he responded to her admission and even though she expected it, it still irritated her.She crossed her arms in front of herself and she sat there in a slightly uncomfortable silence until he spoke again. For a moment she wondered if she was being too mean, but then shedecided that her honesty was not a problem. No, it definitely wasn't. This was Kayla Winters they were talking about; Mari had every reason to dislike the girl and be glad she was out of her life, at least for the time being. She wasn't thinking about how Kayla had been there for Cayden when he'd needed someone, been a good friend to him, that in the end he loved her, not Kayla... and if she hadn't been so irritated she might have thought of these things but all she thought about at the moment was that he was upset and morose over another girl, one she counted as an enemy at that.

She nodded, looked unsure for a moment and then her expression became resolute. " Yes, I am. I'm sorry, but you know that there isn't anything between her and I but bad feelings. There isn't much that's going to change it...and...well, I just...don't make me feel bad for feeling relieved that she's not going to be here." She said stubbornly, irked that he was mad at her when she was only being honest.
