April followed Corwyn from the dorms and over to someone else. She was curious herself to find out what was going on. It didn't seem like this happened often although she had noticed the damp feel to the place when she'd came in. Especially in the dorms. April didn't really know this girl yet but decided to tag along, it was better than going off on her own somewhere, clueless about what was going on. She hung back, looking around the room and down at her soaking feet. Did the teachers know what was going on yet? She wondered. Well she wasn't going to leave yet, she was far too curious for that.

Iris came rushing out of the girls dorm, Luna in her basket and Iris' socks quickly soaking up water. She ran over to Aaron, "hey! Aaron, what's happening? Surely this isn't meant to happen? Luna got really scared and lashed out at me! Look!" she said, holding out her hand, showing him it, which was covered in scratches.

Aaron saw Iris' hand and began rubbing his own. Ouch. "I have no idea... There's just water EVERYWHERE. I guess we're not going to the owlry," he said climbing up on a chair.

And it was chaos in the Common Room.

Evangeline Green, soaked to the bone, stepped into her Common Room just in time to her Clifford giving the students orders to leave. Oh wow. He really was acting all Head Boy now. Rushing to his side, her expression focus and hard, she nodded at what he said and waited for the students to begin to leave. Only they weren't. Eeeh! "Guys! Please, listen to me ... no one knows what's really going on, we only know we might be in danger down here." Her thoughts were on the lake above them. "So this is not the time for questioning what's going on, it's not the time to panic. The students who are unable to cast the Impervius spell, please go to the right side of the room.." She said as she pointed to where they should stay, on the fireplace side. "Someone, Prefect Carden or I or even any older student who is able to cast it, will help you.."

Iris looked over to the Prefect, The one that Clifford was going out with, if she remembered the start of tearm feast rightly, and listened to what she was saying, "impervius?" she asked herself, "Come on Aaron, lets just do as she says" she said, walking over to where The Prefect told them to go.

April looked over to the prefect as she spoke. Knowing that no matter how many times she muttered 'Impervius', it was futile to try. She wasn't at that level yet, she'd barely started her lessons! April walked over to the right side of the room, hanging around near the fireplace. She noticed the prefect seemed worried, nobody said 'it's not the time to panic' unless it was and they just didn't want people panicking. Oh well.

Aaron listened to what the Prefect said. Impervius, what's that?

"Yeah," Aaron said walking to the other side. "Do the teachers know about this?"

"I. Hate. Wetness." Grace explained briefly. She knew she'd catch a cold. She couldn't feel her feet.
Where was the proffessor?! Glancing at the door, Grace answered "As Victoria said, nobody is there..." She thought about her stuff in the dormitory... Sure there was a spell to dry things, no? She desperately hoped so.

Water continued seeping in, rising fast. It was now at waist level and continually rising... The water was cold and dark, green, and murky... and no spell was going to stop its ascent.

" I dunno, but surely someone's gone to get a teacher!" Iris said, as the water coninued to fill the dungeons, "do you not think we need to get out before it gets to full, and we can't get out?" Iris was sounding really scared now, she never got the hang of swimming, and drowning has always been her worst fear.

Iris was really scared now, the water was getting high, she just wanted to run and get away from the water, but she didn't want to leave everyone incase she got lost.

Kevin was in a panic because the water was rising and he was cold and he was sure that his leg was not good at all

Forrester had made a trip down to the Slytherin Common Room to address his house, only to find that it was no longer just damp and cold, it was wet! As if Hogwarts had decided to make its own indoor pool, right in HIS common Room!

"Everyone who can, get to the Great Hall!" He yelled at them, "I'm going to talk to the Headmaster about this." He waded out of the common room, leaving the door open behind him so those who could, would be able to follow.

Vicky spotted aaron and Iris in the other side of the room "come on we need to move right now" and extended her hand to Grace who still was rather pale "don´t worry we are going to be ok i promise" she said in a calm voice as not to startle her, she herself was a bit scared too but she knew it was better to act

Iris took the professors words wisely and grabbed hold of Aaron's hand, "please Aaron, can we go? I'm really scared of water!" she cried, literally, tears were falling down her cheeks, she was absoloutly hysterical inside, but she looked like she wasn't as scared as she was.

FINALLY!!!

Aaron looked at Iris who really seemed to be worried. What's the worse that can happen? They ARE at hogwarts. "Alright, forget thiS. C'mon, let's get out of here" Aaron said grabbing her arm. He started wading through the water toward the door.

"HEY. EVANGELINE!!!" Aaron said making it to the Prefect. "If I can't help, I'm getting out of here!" And he started making his way towards the door again.

Water. Level. Rising. Get. Out. Now. The Impervius protected her from getting wet more, but she didn't want to leave it to chance. Spotting Aaron and Iris, she walked to them with Vicky when Proffessor came in at last and ordered to get out. She took Vicky's hand and rushed to the door with an even paler ill-face.

Lyra jumped off her chair and splashed in to the water, she walked over to Sydney who was sneezing loudly and grabbed her arm "come on! we need to get out" she said looking scared, not that she couln't swim, because she could swim, but still.... she was scared.

Iris ran out of the common room with Aaron, as quickly as the water would let her, Luna's basket hurting her arm from holding it up high.Iris seemed amazed at how calmly Aaron was taking everything and She didn't intend on stopping until she made it to the Great Hall.

still holding Grace´s hand Vicky gave one last look to the room and exited to the hall where the others went

Oh thank Merlin. Both Evangeline and Professor Forrester were now here. He didn't have to deal with this all alone anymore! He did want to get out of here though. And right this very second too. The water repelling charm he'd placed on himself had worn off now, and Clifford was soaked, his robes heavy.

How he wished he knew how to swim. He couldn't drown here. Drown and die. NO!

"Everyone! Let's do as Professor Forrester says and GET OUT OF HERE!" Clifford pretty much yelled to the stragglers. Waiting at the passage to the dungeon corridor, Clifford looked back to make sure everyone was making their way out.

Come oooon, hurry up.

Despite the fact she was soaking through, April waded through the water, regretting now her short stature as the water crept up on her. She held her bag over her head so it didn't get wet as she quickly (or as quickly as she could through the murky water) escaped the common room and out into the dungeon corridors.

Kevin waded through the water to the open door and left to go to the great hall looking back only once hoping that the incident would be dealt with

And Forrester was here! YAY! Just in time too, because the water was nearly reaching Evangeline's waist ... which wasn't good considering there was students alot shorter than her. Oh boy. Listening to her Head of House orders, Evangeline nodded in agreement. Ah, of course! Run.

Why hadnt she thought of that?

"Everyone, go as fast as you can, but remember to keep your calm! Older students, please assist the younger ones!" She told them as they walked past, before turning to Clifford. "Are we sure the dorms are empty?" Oh boy, she hoped they were.

"I checked the boys dorm myself," Clifford told Evangeline quickly, panting a little due to all this hard work. "And I asked one of the girls if there was anyone in the girls dorm and she said there wasn't," he stated, chewing on his lip nervously and looking in the direction of the dormitories. Should they check again? Was it safe? Would they make it back in time to escape this flood themselves? Quite honestly, Clifford didn't want to risk it. Sure, he was Head Boy.. but he also happened to be quite the coward AND a non-swimmer. Which meant.. "I think we should get ourselves out of here now."

He had checked the boys dorms .. okay. That was good. It was one less place they'd need to check on. She nodded thoughtfully as he said he had asked some girl .. but still, Evangeline didn't feel secure enough. Standing on her tiptoes so the water wouldn't reach her ribcage, Evangeline frowned. "Imma go up there and check it again ... you go." He couldn't swim! He should've left AGES ago! "I'll be right behind you, okay? The girl might have missed someone.."
