He was watching the entire transaction happening right in front of his eyes. Despite his dislike towards public display of affection (PDA), the two Gryffindors seemed to somehow not push Cordova over the edge; not making him want to vomit. Instead, he chuckled under his breathe and flipped open his book. "Children and their innocence," he was still giggling to himself trying to focus his attention back towards the book about human transformations.

A minute and two had passed. He was reading the same line over and over again. He shook his head and squeezed his eyes together trying to calm himself down, but knew he couldn't. His mind was now on romance, affection, and love. Though he knew love was out of the question at the age of fifteen, but it seemed to complex to even attempt to probe about. Shrugging, he closed his book laid it on the ground next to him and glanced out the window nearest him. A) It was the easiest thing to keep his mind busy instead of staring at the Gryffindors. B) It was rather nice out; He should be on the grounds instead of bundled up in the castle.

And earpiercing screech filled the corridor. It was coming from the submerged great hall.

Okay... so, apparently, running down the stairs with soaking wet shoes was not a smart idea, especially when said shoes are on feet that tend to go faster than your own body.

Jake had TUMBLED down the stairs and hit his head on the floor, knocking himself out cold for about two minutes straight, out of the view of anyone else. Of course, when his eyes opened Jake didn't realise that this had happened, and he jumped up and skidded down the corridor, disappeared behind a tapestry and sliding down the slide that was there... the slide that went to the old pipes.

Which were big enough for a small boy to slide down to, say, the third floor.

Oyye, my head hurts.
