Kevin smiled and said "I love playing as a beater Nancy it is one of the most fun positions i have ever played and yes i hope they do figure something out because i do want to help Slytherin gain 3rd place in the Qudditch Cup this term." |

Toshi walked along the corridor and suddenly spotted a friendly face. "OI! Kevin!", he walked over to him. "Long time no see, mate! What`ve you been up to?" |

With a frustrated little noise, Plymouth HUGGED Daphne. "I'm SOOOOO sorry, Daphadil." |
Quote:
And now Plymouth Morgan was hugging her. It was just a day full of scandal, wasn't it? "I'm quite sorry myself, to be honest," she spoke to Plymouth's shoulder. Really, really sorry. |
Plymouth tucked Daphne into a BIG hug. He nuzzled her a little with his nose because he wasnt entirely sure what to say to her. "I know you're probably not interested in booboo kisses, but do you need some ice?" Plymouth's legs were kind of beat up - and he hadn't been DRAGGED behind the pants up the stairs. Nightmare. Total nightmare. Plymouth didn't know that to say - which was weird - so he ... hummed. He hummed a tuneless little song rocked lil Daphne back and forth like a momma would. |
The headmaster stepped into the hall. He still had cobwebs in his hair and looked a bit disheveled, but at least he no longer looked like he'd peed his pants. That was a plus. "Well, I do apologize for the problems my pants have caused," he said, looking the boy and girl over. "I should escort you two to the hospital wing and then maybe you can join me in my office. I just got a box of grapefruits sent by my mother and I'd love to share them with you for your trouble." |
Hospital Wing :: Bad Idea. I got a clone there. Daphne shook her head. No to the booboo kisses. No to the ice. No to the uncomfortable feeling at being rocked. No to the blurry image in her head. Except, pushing Plymouth Morgan off her very important person seemed to require a surplus of energy she didn't posses at the moment. It didn't help that Headmaster Bontecou was now speaking to them. Blushing thankful for the coverage Plymouth's body provided, Miss Hopton cleared her throat. "You may stop now, Plymouth," encouraged Daphne. "I don't think I've been rocked since I was three." Patting the mouth of Morgan's stomach, Daphne pushed him off--gently. "I'm fine," she lied, as she usually did when it came to her well being. "No need to go to the Hospital Wing." The Nurse seemed to have a soft spot for dangerous potions which didn't quite suit Daphne. She wasn't known for being an adventure seeker or for having some kind of deadly adrenaline addiction that needed to be satisfied. Grapefruits....? "You hear that, Morgan? The Headmaster is offering to share his grapefruits with us." |
Plymouth eased away from Daphne, but she was getting all sorts of concerned looks. Being the caboose to a pair of wild pants was not exactly an event that made one "Okay". "I think she's just a little shaken, Sir. I bet your grapefruit will .. mend... the trauma your pants caused." WIth that, Plymouth turned to give the Headmaster the look. The one that asked, Why did you sic your pants on my future date? Why were you pantsless? |
He coughed in response to the look Mr. Morgan gave him and then burst out laughing. Then, he headed for the stairs. His office was up from here... no down... He made it as far as the stairs and then seemed to nod (as he debated which way to go: up or down) as he just stood there. "Let's get those grapefruits if you don't need the healer." |
Blink. Walking slowly towards the stairs as well, Daphne pointed below them noticing that the man in charge seemed slightly confused. "I believe it's that way, Sir." Then, just to make sure, she looked back at Plymouth over her shoulder and gave him a look. A look that challenged him to just dare and leave her alone with the Headmaster and his grapefruits. |
Plymouth gave Daphne the look back. He wasn't going anywhere without her. She was DAMAGED on his clock and he was going to shadow her until he was 110% sure she was okay. "I get lost sometimes, too. But we're definitely UP from your office. The pants started dragging Daphne a few flights DOWN." Plymouth gave the headmaster that questioning eyebrow again. |
"Ah yes, very good," he said and started leading them down. "I am sorry about the pants. I probably should have waited until classes were in session and there was little risk of someone encountering the pants." He paused a long moment before admitting, "My other trousers got wet." ooc: Scene moved to HM office. |
Cordova glided from the Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff Common Room humming happily to himself carrying only a thick book and his wand (which was tucked safely inside of his robes). He had no definite destination but knew that he wanted a quiet place, where people would come and go as they moved along to their next destination. A place that would be his safe haven for the time being. In other terms a quiet place. "Hmmm," he sounded to himself coming to a halt in the middle of the sixth floor. Unlike the common room, library, grounds and classroom, the sixth floor was completely empty. A passing student would be fine here and there. But no major distractions! Making a complete three hundred-sixty degree turn around the floor making sure that no one else had thought of his brilliant idea yet. Cordova drifted a few steps out of sight and popped a squat near the end of the corridor. "Ha-ha," he laughed in triumph crossing his legs and placing his now opened book his lap. With the sun beaming near the window closest to him, the hallway was lighten rather well, so he wouldn't have any problems reading and would also have a clear view if someone was approaching him. |
After visiting the library, Lizzie wandered around the castle without anything particular in mind. She thought briefly about the flood and how it had rised above the first floor the other day. She hoped it wouldn't continue to rise, what if it reached the gryffindor tower? She shrudded and walked over to a large window, looking out over the school area. It was beautiful, the sun setting slowly, turning the whole sky into a golden shimmer. She sighed with a smile. |
Walking up behind the lonely figure by the window, Marcus smirked to himself as he suddenly grabbed her around the waist and lifted her for a second, just to surprise her. With a laugh he put her down again, saying Well hello there Lizzie. |
It couldn't be healthy to be surprised this often, Lizzie thought to herself after crying out as her feet suddenly lost contact with the floor. She winced and giggled slightly before Marcus put her down, and then rolled her eyes at him. How old are you anyway was her "hello-phrase". Five years old? Seems likely... she muttered, but winked at him to show that she wasn't serious. |
How typical Lizzie to be like that. He hoped no one heard her cry out of surprise, because someone might mistake it for a cry for help. For a second he imagined Lizzie's ex - Chris - come running shouting something like "You leave her alone!" He chuckled at the thought. Why on earth would Chris do that? He wasn't even dating Lizzie anymore.. Eyeing his friend he recalled their last conversation alone. Lizzie had been crying as he told her about Chris and Paris. He studied her face for a moment, and said You ok Liz? |
Lizzie eyed him curiously as he asked if she was ok. Meeting his eyes she understood that he was wondering if she was over Chris yet. Well surely it felt ok now, she wasn't sad or anything. But she still felt like something was missing. Maybe it also was because she hadn't seen Chris in about a week, so it might just be "missing a friend"-feelings... Right? Yeah sure I'm fine she said, turning back to the window. She hadn't talked to Marcus for long either. What's been up lately? she asked him, turning quickly to meet his eyes. |
She didn't seem too convinced about what she said, but he decided to not go into that again. Maybe she really was over him. Instead he stood beside her, by the window, and followed her eyes to see the sunset. Beauty he said quietly. Looking back at her he shrugged thoughtfully. Not much really. Did you see the water when it raised again? he asked her, remembering how it had filled the corridor on the first floor. |
Lizzie nodded thoughtfully to what he said, her eyes fixed on the sky. Yes I love sunsets she answered quietly. They are somehow calming and yet wild and dangerous. She sighed happily, then listened to what else he said. Yes I saw the flood she said, feeling sorry for professor Dumont who no longer had a working office. Do you reckon it will rise even more, all the way to our tower? she asked, some anxiety in her voice. |
I know what you mean he nodded. Calmingly slow but dangerous with the red strains and the dark approaching.. His hand went through his hair once, and he hesitated before putting it back on the windowsill. Carefully he placed his hand on Lizzie's, gently letting his fingers fill the space between hers. I hope the water stops he said, not caring what or how he said it since all his focus was on their hands. In case it reaches the towers we'll just have to live on the roof, don't you think? he said with a sheepish little smile. |
Lizzie's heart skipped a beat when she felt Marcus' fingers against hers. She stayed perfectly still, not moving an inch. What was this? She never knew Marcus felt that way about her... Considering to clear her throat and fix her hair as an excuse to pull away her hand, Lizzie realised she didn't really want to. His fingers fit perfectly between hers, and she felt somehow comforted by that fact. Quickly glancing his way she said Sounds like a good plan. Or the Greenhouses, they're still dry. Slowly she lifted her hand and let her fingers bend like his, making sure he couldn't pull away his hand. |
He could see her surprise, and this time it was another kind of surprise than when he lifted her. It almost made him pull back his hand, but then she held his hand, answering by holding a firm little grip of his hand. Feeling how his throat dried like it'd been burned by fire, he still smiled at her when she glanced at him. He didn't really know what to say, he just wanted to hug her and tell her how much she meant to him. But that might be a bit too much. So he stayed happy just holding her hand. Peeking through the window again he realised that the sun was almost gone. Only a tiny thread of golden red was visible by the horizon. He could feel his belly calling out that it was time to eat, and in the lack of words he simply said You wanna go get something to eat? He still held on to her hand gently. |
ooc: gotta sleep lovey, ttyl <3 Lizzie felt all dizzy, yet everything seemed crystal clear. When Marcus finally said something, he spoke of food. Food? How typical boys. She nodded and held a firmer grip of his hand, their fingers crossing each other's as their hands fit perfectly. This amused Lizzie a bit, but she liked it nevertheless. Dragging him with her, she began walking along the corridor. I'm starving she said with a grin. She had no idea where this was headed, but at the moment she liked the view of it. |
ooc: ok ttyl <3 hugs Our hand are made to hold on to each other, he thought. Following Lizzie along the corridor he decided not to say anything else about what just happened. He just went along, feeling that maybe this day hadn't been as useless as he'd first thought. Maybe it had even been worth getting up :P |
