Amateur? Amateur. Amateur! Really? Did this girl want to be beat down or did she want to help. Simone's face turned to stone. She was so angry, that if this girl didnt watch her mouth she was going to harm her, the muggle way.

Simone took a deep breath before she spoke, because she had to be nice to this girl. "I'm sorry that you think its 'amateur, immature, and not worthy of witches and wizards because muggles can do it, but this is the plan. You either go with it, or you walk away and keep your mouth shut. Just because muggles can do it doesnt mean its not good enough." She stopped there with her anger mounting.

"Just because Muggles can do it is exactly the reason why it's not good enough," Karma said, narrowing her eyes. "And I won't go with the plan. But I won't walk away, or keep my mouth shut. Unless you think you can do something to make me."

She folded her arms. It wasn't like Karma wasn't in the mood to duel - she could take on anyone. Especially since she had practiced with Lawson and with Mr. Masterson.

"Unless, you're scared. Or your boyfriend has something to say about it."

Ryder was beyond thinking this had turned into a bad idea. Between Simone being late and the Century's Most Overinflated Ego yammering away, it really couldn't get any worse.

His mind went numb. Were they serious? The plan was for the job to be simple. Now all of a sudden we are talking making things better and if the muggles can do it...blah blah blah. But the exchange between the two girls seems to be going on and will continue to go on until one of them dies of old age. Ryder realized these two girls were perfect for each other.

"Oh my god!!! Will you two shut up!!!" With those last two words Ryder punched the nearest tree. Ryder was fuming. He marched over to the two girls. He stood in between Simone and Miss Thing and got up in the unknown girls face. "It was supposed to be simpe. SIMPLE! Just because you think you're all big and bad because you know how to work a wand DOESN'T mean that simple can't work either!" He was about to turn to Simone but changed his mind. "And if you think you're all big and bad why would you even remotely WANT to help 4th years? Are we just that pathetic? Or are you in such desperate need for friends that this is your crappy attempt at making some?"

Ryder finally turned to Simone. "The fact that you even came says a lot. We're scrapping the idea because I am genuinely not in the mood." Ryder grabbed Simone's hand. He pulled it up and kissed it gently. He thought about grabbing both of her hands but his other hand was bleeding from hitting the tree. "Payback, I guess. Thanks for a least making an effort."

He side-stepped the two girls and began to make his way back up to the castle.

Simone was about to reply to the snotty 7th year girl, when...




Simone was surprised Ryder didnt yell at her as well. But she deserved it. She was being awefully rude, not that it surprised her. Girls like that were everywhere, but the generally populated Beauxbatons.

Another action that was extremely surprsing, was when he kissed her hand. It caught her off guard. She wasnt expecting that at all, nor for him to be...so...nice, despite his anger. Then he walked away. "Ryder! Wait!"


She turned to the older girl and replied, "And to think I was hoping to be friends with you at the beginning of term. How 'immature' of me. Or possibly even, stupid." She turned away and ran off towards Ryder, hoping to catch up with him.
