Willie grinned wickedly, liking the boy more and more the more he stayed around with him. The boy seemed to have the same idea sparking in his head as he did, and Willie really liked that. Throwing his arm over Cy's shoulder, he brought him closer to him and then leaned towards his ear to whisper in it.

*whisperwhisperwhisper*

And then he laughed.

"Whatcha think, eh?"

NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU.

Epic. Frizzing. FAIL.

"Tooooorrrriiiiiiiin!" she squealed as she was being WHOOSH-ed down the slide. Oh. He was so dead. SOOOOO so dead when they got down to the end of the slide there.

Except, the boys that were standing at the top had something peculiar in their hands - and she wondered what it had to deal with. It looked like an evil scheme.

"Kaaaaaaaarmaaaa!" he exclaimed as he slid down the slide while still clinging to her.

WHOOOOSH! Karma was his toboggan.

He was so dead when they reached the bottom. But it was worth it.

Nodding as each almost undecipherable word was whispered into Cy’s ear, he clapped his hands together in excitement as the second year finished. “AVAST YE!” He said aloud, it was quickly becoming one of his favorite sayings.

“It’s gonna be like two pirate ships coming togetha’ for form one ultimate doom.” His eyes grew wide and dreamy, “It’s brilliant.”

Back to business.

Cy grabbed the can of oil and relentlessly tossed the contents onto the chutes. He the quickly looked to Willie, “Butter me, mate.” He said, offering up his hands.

Willie laughed like a manic who had just escaped Azkaban as Cy said what he had said out loud. His hand was still clasped onto the boy's shoulder in excitement. Their eyes were obviously glinting with mischievousness and their chins were raised up high as if they were ready to attack!

Which they were.

"Ayyye, mate! We be two pirateth, thettin' thaaaaill on the vaathtttt theaaa!" Willie exclaimed, jabbing his arm into the air as if held a sword in his hand instead of his butter. Turning to face his sailor-pal, he watched him with sheer pleasure as he tossed the contents of the can into the chutes.

"Thertainlllly, mate!" He grinned, grabbing his butter and shoving have of it into his hands. "Teeeee a great thlide, mate!" Willie said in toast before he held onto his piece of butter and rubbed it straight onto his bottom.

His wry grin slowly grew wider as his buddy yielded the butter fiercely. “We’ll conquer tha’ lands and the sea alike.” He said, watching the oil dribble down and down.

Taking the butter, he quickly rubbed in onto his backside, evidently ruining his robes. But did Cyrus care? Of course not.

“Indeed!” He said to Willie’s toast, “And if anyone dare’s to get in our way, well, blessed be their soul!” He said with a smirk, and approached the slide.

“On thah count of three?” He asked, brown eyes leering back to Willie is mischief.

Willie looked at the slide while the oil slide down some more, giving the other boy some privacy with rubbing the butter on his bottom. Once he was done, he turned to face the boy and his cheeks almost ripped into two from the fact he was grinning too much.

"Ayyyyee! Bletthhhh their thouuulthhhhh, poor dem!" He laughed, instantly linking his arm through Cy's and pulling him closer once they had approached the slide. "It thayth one perthon at a time, but... we be one, aye mate?" Willie grinned, placing a hand onto the side of the slide just to grab himself and pull Cy up with him.

"Ohhh, right... One... Teeeeeeewwwwww...THREEEEEEEE!"

And then both boys flew to their doom.

"YYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHOOO OO"

Maybe not.

Cy saluted down the slide, as if it really as an ocean. His brown eyes looked to Willie with a glint of mischief. “Aye! I laugh in thah’ face of rules. Caution to the wind. All hands on board. ARRR!” He took a step onto the slide next to Willie trying to not loose his balance.

And then counted down as second year did.

There was a swish of shaggy brown and and dark curls as the two boys began to plummet. “BOMBS AWAAAAAAAAAAY!” The Aussie yelled as he gave a fist pump in the air. The air was catching his checks and pushing them upwards at the intense speed.

He looked cartoonish almost. “WAAAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!” He screamed, and his voice echoed through the floors of Hogwarts.

Ok how on earth had she missed this?

A slid that went for five stories!!!

She was so excited but she had to go back to the common room to change her clothes. She was not sliding down a slid in her new Pucci original dress. That was as ludicrous as Plymouth telling Celadine to give Paris a dress she had already worn before. She shivered at the thought.

Now she was back in a green jumper and her lace up Converse laced tight to her thin legs. She waited for all the other students to go. She giggled at the various screams and shouts she heard. When it was her turn to took a deep breathe and then she swung herself in and being as tiny as she the wind picked her up ans sent her hurtling into the darkness.

Laura decided to go down to the grounds. Passing the slides on the fifth floor, a wide grin spread over her face. Wow. She just had to try this. It was like the LAW. She had to do it....or she would DIE.

Ok, so she wouldn't die, but it would definately be sheer loss. And with that though in mind, Laura decide; yes, she would go down the slide. Now. So she slid her legs into the chute, and steeled herself to let go. After silently counting to three, she let go.

Haha! She was away! Down the slide she went, faster - faster. Speed builing due to her ligh weight.

Well, considering that they were on a date, Daphne bit back her tongue (and overly analytical behavior) to hook her arm with Plymouth's. He followed him with a frown, curious as to exactly where he was taking her. Oh. Oh. Not the chutes. "You know, I'm wearing a dress," she informed, as if that wasn't already obvious. "And...it's a pretty dress, Plymouth Morgan."

Plymouth... had clearly not considered the effects a giant, five story slide (WOOT) would have on a dress. A pretty dress. Hmmm. "Well... well."

What would Cela do?


No. She have went headfirst and Plymouth would have had to just stand there and make faces.


Daphne and her propriety.

"How about... I'll sit. And then you can sit between my knees and... I'll let you have my coat." Plymouth took Daphne's hand off his arm and held it in his hand in anticipation of helping her onto the slide. Plymouth was a sweating fool made of nerves. He should have ... thought... of this before.


The Merpeople were going to RUIN HIS DATE.

Daphne hummed, placing one hand on her cheek. Tilting her head, her hazel eyes rolled heavenwards, wondering how sitting between Plymouth's knees was a good idea. It wasn't. Not that it really mattered. The chutes idea was generally a bad idea. Morgan was working with what he had the best way he could. Poor guy. "Well, alright," she conceded standing on lifting the heel of her feet repeatedly to test the fit of her shoes. It wouldn't do if they came off in the middle of the ride.

Sigh. This was far too much alike to that staircase incident back in year two. "It can't be that bad, can it?" Plus, Plymouth was going to take off his hideous coat--and have her wear it to over her knees to cover herself.


It was definitely that bad.

Plymouth shrugged out of his jacket. He HAD thought this part of the date through. He never expected to make it the whole evening with his jacket on (he never did, Plymouth lost more clothes than... anyone ever), so he'd put on a short sleeve shirt because... of what Cela had told him.

"Hehe. Here you go, Daphadil. You need help with it?" Plymouth scratched his head. He was a bit unsure how this was going to work, but he trusted Daphne knew how to be a lady thing.


Plymouth did a little turn and then took a seat at the top of the stairs. Then, he reached back to offer Daphne his hand to help her down.

Trust that Plymouth Morgan to distract her. Daphne worried her bottom lip as her eyes fell on the older Ravenclaw boy's arms. He had reaaally nice arms. They weren't too big, but had enough muscle to make her cheeks all hot and--wobbly, he was starting to make her wobbly again.

"I think I can handle it, Plymouth," she said with a little smile, careful to keep her eyes down. Taking his hand, she stepped between his legs, her free hand flattening the back of her dress against her thighs before carefully sitting down. Draping Plymouth's rather unfashionable coat over her knees she was careful to tuck it in places where something rather inappropriate might be shown. "I'm ready whenever you are, Captain."

Teehee.

"All aboard, all aboard!!" Plymouth Glen Morgan LIKED being the Captain. He was about to go down with his ship, the Daphadil.

Plymouth scooted in close and cozy. "You... HAVE been on a slide before, right? Like, you know what to do at the bottom? And, you have to keep your elbows tucked in," Plymouth put his (slightly sweaty) palms flat on the outsides of her arms to press her elbows in gently. He was a little worried that Daphne might fall at the bottom and be upset with him.

Daphne pretended not to be all too bothered by Plymouth's proximity but the obvious spike in her body heat wasn't helping her forget. It didn't help that his hands were on her already overheated body. Swallowing, she didn't even notice the clamminess of his palms. "Have I ever been on a slide before? Er...Not really."

More like, no, never.

Plymouth was kind of afraid of that. "It's... well it's pretty easy. See, when you get to the bottom, there is no more slide. But since you've got all this MOMENTUM built up you," Plymouth gently patted her arms," keep moving. So, when the slide runs out, you have to put your feet on the ground. And the momentum will push the rest of your body to your feet."


Hmmmm. Plymouth would have offered to slide down ahead of her and catch her at the bottom, but... he wanted to slide WITH her, and he was pretty certain that sliding with her was the only sure-fire way to make sure she DID slide down. She had to slide down. He had PLANS.


"I'll hold on to you. It'll be fine." Plymouth scooted up closer to her and put an arm around her waist like a seatbelt. "You push off and... I'll make sure we land," Plymouth assured Daphne.


Oh Merlin help them all.

Even as Plymouth calmly explained to her the way the slide worked and what she needed to do to make sure she didn't land into a heap of bruises and boken bones--Daphne couldn't help but panic slightly and shake her head furiously, blond tendrils flying with her actions.

Not even his patting, and even closer proximity was getting her mind off the fact that everything just sounded like a great big formula for instant death. Death by dismemberment thanks to the force of gravity--and..."Pu-pu-push off? You want me to push off?"

Push off? Push off where? She was sitting between his knees! Push off him?

"I'll... do it. I just thought you'd like to, you know, drive," Plymouth explained. He used his heels to slide his rear towards the edge of the slide, pushing Daphne forward with his torso in the process.


NERVOUS!HEHE!


"It'll be FUN. Promise," Plymouth eased them RIGHT up the edge, only his heels keeping their weight at the top. "And I've got - "

Plymouth's heel caught in... something... slick.... and he slipped before he could finish his sentence.


SWOOSH.

"Fun?" she squeaked turning her head with some difficult to look up at Plymouth with round honey eyes. "Can I cover my eyes, though?" Daphne didn't wait for his reply, placing her palms over her face. "I'm just a little---"

EEEEEEEEK!

Daphne had a feeling they weren't supposed to go as fast as they were going. Were there speed limits on chutes?

It didn't happen often. Hardly ever, really. But Plymouth Morgan had a moment of perfect wizard-brain clarity. They were going TOO FAST, out of control almost, on some SLICK substance coating the chutes. Plymouth was a Ravenclaw... so...

"Impedimenta!!" Plymouth cast, so so so so thankful that he'd remembered his wand AT ALL.

Unfortunately, though, Plymouth's intent to KEEP Daphne Hopton safe and happy and alive and still somewhat liking him - must have been a little TOO strong because they slowed waaaaaaaaay down. Way down...

Daphne was going to KILL HIM. Goodbye sweet world. Please tell Plymouth's mum that it was a good death.

They neared the bottom of the chute and Plymouth was clutching Daphne so hard that she probably couldn't breathe. He got ready for the landing... and then his impending doom.

Hmm... Livvy wondered how sliding down the staircases would be like. Sounds like fun! But man it scared the heck out of her. It sounded dangerous. If only there was like... snow or something to soften any landings.

She looked over at Garret who was now walking towards her. Livvy cocked her head waiting for him, when all of a sudden, the boy.... grabbed her hand. Livvy widened her eyes as she looked down at their intertwined hands. He.... GRABBED... her hand? Oh my gosh. She was gonna faint.

Livvy squealed as Garret pulled her along, down the corridor and before they knew it, they were at the Shoots. Whoa.... dat..... looks... freaking awesome. "Whoooooaaa... this... is wicked," she said, breathtakingly as she looked at Garret with a large smile.

Down they go? Eep.

Breathtaking?

Garret couldn't comprehend how Neo ever thought these chutes could possible be safer than the flooded lower floors. What if someone was really tiny, and the wind blew them off course as they made their way down?

The thought only served to heighten his excitement.

"WAAHOOOOOEY!" he howled out to grounds, the wind whipping his voice across and around them. Before Livvy could protest or squeal about the heights and the danger, he pulled her down into a sitting position so she was comfortably between his legs and pushed off the edge of the building.

The chutes were just so large... and scary. But no fear. Livvy wasn't afraid of anything! No way. Livvy scared of some slide? No. No. Impossible. 'Course not! She took a deep breath. EEE... freaking out mode. She peered over on her tip toes. Man that was a far way down. Who knew that the almighty Quidditch player, Olivia Zhang would be afraid of some slide?

Maybe she shouldn't go down. After all, she still needed her arm and brain to take her OWLs. Livvy didn't plan on dying just yet. She opened her mouth to ask Garret if they could just go back, but before she knew it, the boy pulled her down into sitting position between her legs and he pushed them off the edge of the building.

Oh geez.

Livvy quickly grabbed Garret's arms and wrapped them around her, and held on. No way was she gonna fly out to her death. If she was gonna go on this death ride, Garret was gonna be there all the way with her.

And down.... they go. "WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!"
