Dani blushed darker when he pointed out that she was blushing. She let out a burst of laughter when he started yelling about green hair. "What are you talking about Clark?" She reached out and put a hand on his forehead. "You don't have a fever." Hmm. She looked at him with a strange look on her face.

"Oh, nothing. Just train of thought." And now Dani was looking at him oddly...did she like him or something? Because she was cute..in that little kid sort of way. But nothing else. Of course, even though he was almost taken, didn't mean that he couldn't be nice to her. And so he would be nice.

"Ya,so Jake's still in detention," Clark added, quite randomly. It was funny how he had gotten out and not him.

Emiliano tried to slowly breathe, calm himself around this situation. It was unexpected, weird to feel jealous about the girl he wanted, he liked to be around some other guy. Thanks to Karma's touch, that Veela controlling touch, his senses went to somehow normal, at least he thought. "Hey bud..." Em tried to be nice likewise, at least that expression worked a little, "...yeah, I'm Emiliano, though I haven't heard from you..." Well, it sounded as if he was going into that anger. Not the time, Em...not the time...

He noticed both Karma and Evolette were celebrating something. "May I know the special ocassion?" He asked, curious, trying to let go of his already hard feelings towards the guy they addressed as Wes.

Suddenly, Piper just lost her whole senses and passed out right in front of him, right into the arms of Wes. He ran to help him, just for Piper's sake and health. "Piper, Piper...please wake up..." Oh, man...it was his fault...He just felt the worst person ever. He knew it was all to blame on him.

Then Karma quickly responded and tried once the Renervation spell. "Please...wake up..." He whispered to her ear and hoped for the best.

The look of Piper, her white pale figure just scared him off a bit. What was going on? Why was she like that?

"Aww that sucks." She sounded genuinely disappointed. "He's so cute." She mumbled to herself before realizing Clark was in hearing distance. Oops. She looked down at the floor praying that he hadn't heard. Her ears were actually quite a cute pink color in her embarassment.

"Who's so loot? Whaa?" Clark raised his eyebrows. "I don't know what loot is-isn't that like, money?" he asked. Wait...unless she had said..."Jake's so cute?" he asked. "Really?" he saw the look on Dani's face, "Don't worry, your secret's safe with me."

Dani eyed Clark. "If you say anything I will kill you." She threatend him, he seriousness was reflected in her eyes. She looked dangerous for a moment before smiling again and asking. "Do you know where I can get some water balloons?" Her voice sounded innocent, too innocent.

Clark jumped back. "Yes ma'am!" he yelled. Wait...he thought Dani liked him. Clark would never understand women. *big sigh* As for the water baloons...that was right up Clark's alley.

"Water balloons?" an evil smile crept up on his face. "I have some in my trunk. And why, may I ask, would you need water baloons?" He wanted to know-and if it involved proffessers, he was A-L-I-L-L in.

Especially if it involved proffessers.

“C’mon Evee, it’s hardly appropriate to be showing everyone that scar. You got a little bit out of hand you know. I still think you could have exercised some self control.” He challenged Evolette when she suggested he show Piper his scar. There really was no scar … but no one else knew that.

A big part of Wes was annoyed that Karma seemed so doubtful that Piper should see something in him. Honestly, was he that revolting? Maybe he didn’t understand females. He never had. Still, he’d never thought of himself as a revolting male. Clearly Karma saw things differently. She had a doubtful look in her eyes. In that moment she seemed to be worrying less about being charming, and more about trying to keep her temper in check. It was enough to prevent him from launching himself at her.

“No. Piper just mentioned you a few times. I’m Wesley Devereaux.” He responded when Emiliano declared that he didn’t know him. There was an easily detected note of anger in the other male’s voice. Wes was surprised by how defensive he felt about it. He barely knew Piper, and was only in this for the entertainment value … but he hated thinking that Emiliano felt he had any claim on the small female. Piper was too sweet for him. The idiot thought he could just run around with a veela and not have the girl that liked him getting a bit jealous? Honeslty? What a load of crap.

“You know,” Wes looked from Karma to Emiliano, careful to keep his face void of all emotion save a vague blanket of confusion. “If there is some problem I really would rather you just tell me what’s going on.” It was pretty obvious that Emiliano was upset over something … and that Karma would side with him in a moment. Evee would, without a doubt, back up her new friend. Wes didn’t hardly blame her. But that did leave him and Piper in an awkward situation if he couldn’t manage to calm some people down a little bit.

Not five minutes after those words left his mouth Piper collapsed. Wesley cursed, and jumped, shifting his hold on her before she hit the ground. Karma moved forward as well, and helped him stop the smaller female from landing too roughly. Wes crouched beside her, and kept one arm behind her shoulders as Karma pulled out her wand and attempted to revive Piper. Emiliano joined the group as well. Wes simply settled himself more comfortably next to Piper, refusing to relinquish his hold on her. He needed to remember that he had a right to be there. Piper wanted him there. He wasn’t going to let Emiliano just butt in. His job was to make Em jealous. He needed to hold his ground to do that.

Dani looked at him, a devious expression in her eyes. "Well, there's this Professor that kinda made me angry." She thought some more. "And I kinda wanted to prank him." Thinking of pranks she thought of Nate. She missed him, but she loved being with Jake and Clark they were so funny and strange and gorgeous. "What do you say?" She was turning into quite the evil mastermind.

"Well it depends on, which proffesser, and-duh I'll do it!" Clark exclaimed, the lifted the small girl on his shoulders. Wow she was tiny. Lighter than his little sister Maizie, even. "Just out of curiousity, who is the proffesser?" he looked up and asked her. "An' an' an' how did they make you angry?" he asked the little girl. It was hard to believe she could hold anger in her small stature. She was such a little sweetheart. He grinned up at her.

Dani shrieked with surprise and then she was on his shoulder. "It's Professor Lawson." She looked down at him. Hadn't she told him about her fear of heights? Whatever, he wasn't that tall. "He left me." She frowned. "I told him I was scared of healers but he still left me even though he promised he wouldn't. I don't like liars." She stated it all matter-of-factly with a slight pout on her face.

Piper was dreaming, she was racing along a cool sunlit garden on her favorite broom, with Wes by her side. She looked at him and laughed, she was having the time of her life when suddenly, reality decided to break in.

Piper opened her eyes slowly, wondering what had happened to pull her so suddenly from her nice dream. She looked up to see Karma, Evolette, Emiliano and Wes all hovered over her. "Oh dear Merlin what happened?" She muttered as she moved her hand to hold Wes's. He was the closest.. she told herself..

She tried to sit up, but her head felt like it was full of cotton wool, and it didn't want to co-operate very well with her moving.. "Did I trip again?" She asked looking confused. She honestly couldn't remember what had happened.

"It's both of our birthdays," she said, looking at Em. He seemed to be calming down. "See? She gave me Precious."

She pulled the little kitten from her pocket and showed Emiliano. Precious mewed in a tiny little voice and began to purr when she was held by her owner.

"She's adorable, and Evee gave her to me."

Karma didn't like the look that Wes was giving her. He was definitely only getting a one sided opinion about her. Sooo unfair. She rolled her eyes, and tried to catch his. When he wouldn't look at her, that was when she decided to take things into her own hands.

"You're not getting the right impression of me," she said to Wes, sounding a little offended. "I don't think that's quite fair, to be honest."

That was when everything went awry. Emiliano and Wes both rushed to help Piper the moment Karma did. They were lucky none of them had hit each other in the rush. Well, the boys were anyway. Karma was smoother on the scene then that.

Evee had backed away from the scene, leaving Karma with her enemy and two boys. Ugh, just the thing that Karma needed. Soooo not.

"C'mon Piper," she said. She didn't want to have to do Rennervate again. Maybe it just needed a second to work.

It better not take long. This was turning into a bad day. But Piper began to stir. That meant that Karma wasn't needed. At least she knew her magic was excellent. Perfect. Another reason to make her head bigger.

She pushed off the ground and stepped back to where Evee was, arms folded. Precious mewed again, and Karma pulled her out of her pocket and placed her on her shoulder again, observing what would happen next.

Remembering Dani had a extreme fear of heights, he asked her a question. "D'wanna get down now?" he laughed reassuringly. He didn't want to make her uncomfortable. "Oh yeah, I remember that. The day we met, in the Hospital Wing." And Lawson...that was just rude.

Meanie head.

"So, you wanna throw water balloons at him?" Clark raised his eyebrows.

"Nahh I'm kinda comfy." She laughed. "You don't have to help me with the throwing I can do that by myself. I haven't had detention yet." Right now she just wanted big fatty water balloons to drop on a certain lying professor. "So you're gonna help me right?" She gave him the puppy dog eyes. She had only been told no once when using the eyes and that was when she used them on Healer Avalon.

"Of course! We can also get....Jake, maybe a seventh year to help us with spells who won't tell on us, and you and I. I can help with the distraction, talk to this Proffesser Judicial Father, whatever...distract him while you drop them, or whatever. It's on the down low, of course." Clark nodded. "You're comfy?" he asked, then walked around the corridor with her on his shoulders. "Are you ok?" he asked, laughing.

"Oh yeah, and Karma got our necklaces." she added, happy to have the subject on her birthday once again. Whee! Birthdays were fun. The one day of the year that it was acceptable to expect it to be all about her. Of course, Evolette expected every day to be all about her.

Yawn.

Evolette was over this already. She was bored. She needed something new to focus on. Something shiny.

Watching as the three worked on Piper, trying to get her to wake up, Evolette glanced at her nails. She wasn't really involved in all of this, therefore, she was watching. Very carefully. When the Gryffindor woke up, and asked what happened, Evolette couldnt help but chuckle. "Um. You like totally passed out." she said.

Her gaze switched to Karma, as her friend came to stand beside her, they really did need to talk. But first, they had to get away from everyone else. "Wessy." she started, blinking her blue eyes at him. "You should probably take Piper to the Nurse, to make sure she is okay and everything. Afterall, she is your girlfriend."

She knew Karma was NOT going to like hearing her say that, but if Karma wanted to discredit their "relationship" and show Em that Piper was doing this to him, then it needed to be said. Besides, Wes would be happy that she was going about with his little plan, it all worked out.

Dani grinned. "Are you sure Jake would help? Hasn't he already had too many detentions? What if they like kick him out or something?" He started walking around and she started laughing again. When she started she couldn't stop. "I-I'm fine" She would be as long as he didn't start jumping around or something. But she wasn't gonna say that out loud, Clark would probably do it just to see her reaction.

Clark paused for a second. "Jake will have to be the most secret member-I don't think that he can get another detention, good point." And then she was laughing, and Clark couldn't help laughing with her. Because she wouldn't stop.

Clark squatted down. "Here, if you want to get off, you can." he nodded sweetly.

“The wrong impression?” He inquired, and looked over at Karma. Wes looked at a point just over her shoulder, rather than her face, however. “What impression is that? All I think is that you clearly don’t believe that Piper would get sick of waiting around for some shmuck that isn’t even good enough for her!” He barked in response. OK, that was a bit mean. He reminded himself, and even managed to feel a bit sorry. “I can tell that you don’t like the idea of us. If you’d seen your face --” His voice trailed off at that. He wasn’t going to yell at Karma for this. She hadn’t done anything wrong. She was just looking out for her friend.

When Piper came to everyone was hanging over her. Well, that must be fun, He thought wryly. Wonderful way to wake up after passing out, with everyone staring at you! He rubbed one of the arms under his hand, and offered her a smile as she asked her questions. Evee answered before he got a chance. He could tell that she was a bit amused by what had happened … or perhaps smug. It had been fear of her, most likely, that had caused the fainting.

“No, you just passed out. Are you ok? Are you having a hard time remembering everything or are you just a bit disoriented?” Wes asked her softly. He was just glad that she hadn’t heard him barking at Karma … Wes already knew that he was lucky that she’d even give him the time of day. Piper was a sweet girl. She deserved only the best. He was a bit of a jerk. She could do better than him. She should do better than him. Furthermore, she’d already had enough going on in the past five minutes without him making matters worse.

His gaze shifted to Evolotte as she spoke. He offered her a half smile. He wasn’t sure what her motivation was, but at least she was helping him out here. Wes turned back to Piper.

“Here, lean on me … if you still feel woosy that is. If you lose balance again I’ll catch you. Promise.” He whispered, and slipped an arm around her waist to help pull her to her feet. Wes helped Piper get back to her feet, the tugged her gently to his side. “Ev’s right. She is my girlfriend.” His eyes narrowed into a harsh glare as he stepped closer to the other male in the area. “You might not like it, but it’s about time that someone had the decency to stop leading her on. You don’t deserve a girl like Piper.” He hissed at Emiliano, before leading Piper down the halls.

Dani hopped off his shoulders still laughing. She turned around to face him again. "I don't know if we should invite him. I mean he's awesome but if he's anywhere within ten feet of Operation WB the professors will pretty much assume he was part of it." She didn't want him to get in trouble, even though that was very much in favor to their House Quidditch Team. She started laughing again. "I think he'd kill us if we didn't ask though."
She stared up at the ceiling, lost in thought.

Clark thought for a moment. "Hm. How about we invite him, but we deny that he was ever apart of it. And so, if he gets detention, it wasn't our fault." He smiled.

"So, whenever he's out of detention, we shall ask him. And then strike. Hiiii-yah!" he kicked. Clark smiled at Dani, who for some reason was looking up at the ceiling. He followed her glance and looked up. "Whatcha looking at?" he asked her. "I like the ceiling too...."

Hmm...Jake couldn't get another detention, and so he couldn't be seen. "I have a perfect idea!" he shouted, then lowered his voice. "Since Nurse Avalon hates Lawson also, and she likes you, she could help us like, lift the baloons up and stuff!"

Ouch. But wait, why was SHE the one getting yelled at? There was nothing wrong, simply confusion really. Instead of getting offended, she raised one brow at him. Of course, she was used to getting barked at for things that had to do with boyfriend/girlfriend stuff, but never from the guy. To each his own.

Ah, so he had seen the look on her face. Well really. Who would expect to see someone else other than Emiliano with Piper? It was if the world stopped spinning. But then again, they were putting on an act.

Time for her to play along.

"It's just ironic to me that one day Piper is sooo in love with Emiliano, and the next second she's with some other boy. Don't even get your attitude with me - Saenz is my best friend and I'm looking out for him," she said, loud enough for everyone to hear.

Noticing he wouldn't look at her, as she went to stand up, she "lost her balance" and touched his shoulder, sending a shock through his body.

"You're good. We'll talk later," she hissed in his ear, so that only he could hear it.

Karma said nothing as she approached Evee, and simply watched the scene before them. Yeah, it wasn't as interesting anymore. Except for the fact that she had saved Piper's life, which meant that she should be eternally greatful.

Okay maybe she didn't save her life, she helped wake her up though. Whatever.

Evee was in on this. Karma said nothing as she mentioned Piper being Wes' girlfriend. It didn't matter, really, she would get the inside scoop of it later. She was boreddd now.

"Eveeeeee I'm bored," she said. "Let's go have Precious and Muffin play together somewhere."

Mega ouch. Karma made no expression on her face as Wes walked off with Piper. She wanted to comfort Emiliano - she really did, but she didn't want to overload him right now.

Wes was good. That's all she had to say.

Walking up to Emiliano, she put her hand on his arm. "You come find me if you need me, alright? Say the word, I'll be there." She tapped her head. "I'll be listening."

Turning back to Evee, she grabbed her friend's arm.

"I have something to tell youuu," she sang. Precious jumped from Karma's shoulder to Evee's and nuzzled against her. "Aww, look at that." Precious jumped back towards Karma's shoulder and her owner caught her, placing her on the opposite shoulder so she could look out the window if she wanted.

Piper nodded at Wes, only really able to focus on him at the moment, there were too many people around, to focus on anyone else. "Um, I don't really remember much." She responded looking at him as he helped her up. She was still pretty shaky, and was very glad to have him to lean on. She nodded as she shakily started to walk down the hall, toward the hospital wing. She supposed, all the voices around her were rather fuzzy.

Except for that... Piper turned to look at Wes, and then back at Emiliano for a second. She looked back at Wes and for a moment wished it was true. Instead she leaned her head on his chest and smiled. "Well that will stir up something, you sounded like my concerned boyfriend." Piper's voice was slightly wistful.."Thanks.. I don't know what I would do without you.." She whispered softly.

Dani just stared athim for a moment. "Are you serious? You want to tell our plan to someone that not only has the power to stop us, also has the power to put us in detention?"

She shook her head. Boys and their crazy ideas. But maybe Nurse Avalaon would help. Hmm.. As long as she didn't know that it involved Clark and Jake.
