"You see me, of course!" Anna said, flipping her hair back and batting her eyelashes for added dramatic effect. She giggled, then listened as Aislynn talked about where her hair product had come from. No wonder the name was so difficult for her to pronounce! She'd never been any good at foreign languages. "I bet French styles are really amazing, too." Lyra had lived in France for a while, and boy did she know a thing or two about the fashion industry. Cope, though, was probably the type to care less about where his hair products had come from. As a matter of fact, he seemed a bit leary of her doing anything different with his hair in the first place.

Anna sighed and mirrored Cope's frown. She'd thought she did a really good job, but maybe he was just skeptical of trying something so new and out of the ordinary for him. She nodded at his words and glanced up at Aislynn. "Oh, yeah, please do stay. You can tell Cope how good his hair looks," she said, laughing lightly. When her hand got tired, she lowered the mirror and shook her head in reply to Cope's questions. "You are not bald, Cope. I told you that I think you look really nice." A noise could be heard coming from somewhere down the corridor, although Anna couldn't place exactly what it was. Catchy beat, though. She hummed along as she listened to it getting closer and closer.

Aislynn was taken by surprise that Copernicus asked her to stay, but she of course stayed as an "impartial observer" as he liked to put it. "Sporty?" Aislynn questioned. "Sporty by definition means flashy, showy, smart in dress or behavior...hmm...maybe it's the clothes that can help make the hair."

She turned to Anna...

"It seems like we have an almost complete makeover on our hands," Aislynn said. She smile. Aislynn looked more closely at his hair. "Hmm...have you tried putting a Twisted Quiff on his hair?" she asked. "The look will give an uplifting casual hairstyle that creates movement and height...sporty..." --she glanced over at Cope-- "as Copernicus likes to put it. The mousse look is great, but if you add some moulding cream towards the front of the hair..." --she motioned with her hands a swoop over the top of his head, but not touching his hair--"...it creates a peak on top and completes the look." She looked at both of them, but couldn't get a read, maybe she said too much. "Just a suggestion."

"No, no! It's perfect. It can't be improved upon, because perfection is already the pinnacle of hair. Pinnacle!" Copernicus scooted on his hands and bum away from them down the corridor. "Erm. AISLYNN!"

Why was he shouting?

"Which tie do you like?" He shook everything out of his satchel onto the floor to find those two neckties.

Aislynn sort of jumped as he shouted her name. She didn't exactly know how to take it. "Um...yes?" she asked. He then dumped out his satchel to look for his neck ties. "Don't mean to be rude, but do you really want to wear something that's been in the bottom of your satchel? It's probably all wrinkly. Well, lets look at your eyes shall we?" She stepped a bit closer and looked deeply in his eyes. They were a beautiful shade of blue, with the slightest green hue to them. She felt she was staring for too long and quickly stepped away. "Right, so you should definitely go with a blue tie, like a Caribbean blue," Aislynn said. "It will help bring out your eyes and Madame Merveilleux says 'Eyes are the mirror of the soul'. If you don't have anything I can whip up something in the Common Room in like 2 minutes. I think I have the material." She smirked, how random to have the perfect material she felt like she had to explain herself. "I'm working on a quilt...muggle-style."

"Yeah, I'm not out of the covers in dorm much" George admitted "I don't like being high up" he shrugged "Anyway, Elan... what year are you in?" George asked, trying to make conversation.

Becca turned a corner and slid along the wall, still playing her song of intensity when she spotted Copernicus with Anna in the direction she was headed. Aww shoot. She stopped abruptly in the middle of her song and quickly switched to something more upbeat, in which she then slid faster along the wall. Making the great escape right past Cope. Or... at least her mindset was that she would make a great escape, even though she was the loudest thing currently in the hallway.

Elan listened. He wasn't particularly excited to be so high up either. He missed his dorm room and the comfort of being under the ground floor. He hoped that soon they would be able to return, but it looked like the flooding was getting worse, not better. It seemed like someone had really taken a lot of effort to make things flood.

As George asked about Elan, he looked down at the younger student. "I'm a third year, and I'm not too happy about the height either. It seems unnatural to be so high in the castle and sleeping there. And when the wind blows and the tower begins to sway, I just want to go sleep in a classroom on a lower floor."

Anna just stared at Aislynn (in a good way, of course) as she went on and on about some sort of style she recommended for Cope. Anna just knew of basic hairstyles and basic looks. She had no idea what any of those other styles were at all. Aislynn seemed to know what she was talking about, though, so Anna just grew quiet and let her share her opinion. From the sounds of it, it seemed like it would look pretty good on Cope.

...now, getting him to agree to a drastic change was another thought altogether. Just as she thought that, Cope began scooting down the hall in an attempt to get away from this little styling session. She giggled at him, then shook her head. "Cope, Puddifoot's is tomorrow, you know, so I really need to start heading back to my Common Room to pick out a nice little casual dress to wear," she said, retrieving her basket off the floor. "If you need me for any last minute ideas, you know where to find me."

She turned back to Aislynn with a smile. "Thanks for helping out, as well, Aislynn," she told her. "I'll see you around, 'kay?" ...and then, that music sounded again. Where was it coming from? Such catchy tunes, too! Whoever that was surely had a knack for whatever it was they were doing! With a final wave, Anna turned and headed back to her Common Room.

Copernicus finally fished out his rolled up ties to show Aislynn that they were in perfect condition, but he still listened attentively to her suggestions abotu color selection. "Muggle quilt? I've seen those... very impressive hobby. There are some sewing spells that might make it easier for you."

Cope was distracted by Anna's running away. "I guess I have to go... get ready?" He laughed, completely self-conscious. "Thanks for your help. I promise to come to you next time I have to get ready for... tea." He stood, offering his hand.

Having just come out of her dormitory, her and the Gryffindor's dormitory, anyway, Natasha wondered down the seventh flood corridor. It really wasn't unusual, for her, anyway, as that kind of thing was sort of just an odd habit for her. She was just kind of weird like that, or something. She looked around, though there were just a few people around, really, talking and stuff, as people do. She ran her fingers through her hair, though, as she thought about what to do now.

Victoria was walking back from the mess tent with her head in one of her books and she wasn't looking where she was going.

As Natasha looked around, she saw a girl, younger than her, probably, also walking along the corridor like her. Only, unlike her, this girl had her head in a book. "Hi," she said with a slight smile. Was she interrupting that girl? Maybe. But she could always tell her to leave her so she could carry on reading, right? Well, probably not. Oh well.

She heard someone speak and looking up and saw a older slytherin, "Hey, I am Victoria". No she thought she isn't interuppting my reading.

Natasha looked at the girl. Well, at least it looked like she hadn't annoyed her. "Pleasure, Victoria." She replied with a friendly expression on her face. "I'm Natasha Lovato," she said, tilting her head to the side as she looked at Victoria.

"I am a first year Ravvie" she could see that the girl was wearing silver and green so she might be in Slytherin.

Sam walked onto the Seventh Floor with a look of confusion. What the heck was going on? The castle was flooding! It's bizarre. Deciding it was best to write her letter to her brother on a higher level, the Gryffindor wandered around the corridor. Should she write it in the common room? Nah. Too noisy. Hmm. What to do? Where to go?

Reed was walking down the seventh floor corridor. He saw an older girl walking down too. He studied her, she seemed familier. He was sure that he had never met her before, but he had seen her. Then he remembered going with Jordan to her friends house during the summers. That must have been where she was from. She had a very confused look on her face. "Hey is everything okay?" He asked her. That was the 'i'm going to make sure that everyone in this world is okay' side coming out in him. Hey it wasn't a bad quality to have.

Turning to the sound of a boy's voice she found herself looking at someone strangely familiar. "Oh yeah. Everything is fine. Just trying to find a place to write a letter without getting wet." she chuckled lightly. She then, studied him a little longer. For some reason the boy reminded her of Jordan. Man, she missed that girl.

"Oh" He said giving the girl a smile. It was kind of wet around here. Strange. "I'm Reed Kaisen" He told her with a grin. He doubted that she recognized him. If his last name had been Paige she would have known him, but not Kaisen. Jordan had to have known her, well at least who she was. They spent the summers in the same place. Oh well, it was still polite to introduce yourself either way.

Then it clicked. "Dude! I remember you!" Sam said, giving the boy a quick hug. She practically saw him every summer. He always came with Jordan. Jordan! "Hey how is Jordan been? I've been meaning to write her." she said with a smile. Looking him over again, she noticed how much he has grown. The boy had to be at least an inch taller now! Time seemed to fly.

Reed gave her a large grin. "Sam right?" He asked hoping he was. There were always so many people there during the summer that he got names confused but he was pretty sure that he was right. "Oh she's fine." He told her. "She's writing for the Prophit" He added. They had been good friends. He remembered Jordan telling him that. He couldn't believe that he had been here two years and hadn't ever seen her around before.

"Yup Sam." she grinned. The boy knew her enough not to call her Samantha. Nice. She still couldn't believe how much he had grown! "Man. You sure have grown from the last time I've seen you. You are taller than me now!" she chuckled. Then again, pretty much everybody was taller than her. She only stood at about five feet and two inches.

On hearing that Jordan wrote for the Daily Prophet, Sam smiled. She knew Jordan had loved to write when she came to Hogwarts. She must love her job. "That's good to hear. I'm glad Jordan sounds good." she said. The Gryffindor then began to wonder when Reed had transfered here. She didn't even know what year he was in! "So when did you transfer here?" she asked casually.

Great he had gotten her name right. That saved him a bucket load of embarrassment. "Well not to be rude, but that doesn't seem to hard to do" Reed said with a laugh as Sammy mentioned that he was taller than her. "I'm just joking of course" He better mention that, he didn't want to rub her the wrong way.

"Beginning of last term." He told her. "Came here from Spain." He couldn't believe that he had already been here for two terms. "Jordan talked my dad into it" That seemed right, since Jordan had been obsessed with this school.

"I'm second year, Slytheirn." She said with a light smile. "Were you heading anywhere?" Natasha asked Victoria. She hadn't been going anywhere, after all, as she had just been wondering around the seventh floor corridor.

"I was thinking about going to the Ravenclaw common room but I might go down to the grounds" she was full from her meal but she would like some fresh air.
