"My apologies," Plymouth replied automatically to Hurricane Daphne. He sort of smiled. But he kind of sounded like Copernicus and that was lame. So, then he made faces. Hm. He was kind of crazy.

Plymouth stared down at Daphne Hopton, taking her in from head to toe. She .. might be up for it. He hoped so. Plymouth Morgan needed Daphne Hopton.


"I'll make it up to you. Right now. You want to.... go for a walk? With me? Right now?" Plymouth gave her shoes serious looks and prepared for her to say no.

Daphne began to frown at Plymouth's initial response but his random Guess How Many Faces I Can Make' response made her feel more at ease. For a second she thought something was wrong with him and--Daphne Hopton wasn't very good at handling people who had something wrong with them.

For example: Her Mother.

"Well, I was on my way..." trailed off Daphne watching Plymouth's features attentively before she realized he was staring at her shoes. Glancing down at them herself, just in case she had scuffed them terribly on her way out of the common room, Daphne breathed in relief.

Shoes were looking good and shiny as ever. Maybe Morgan knew how to appreciate fine footwear. "Let's go then. I hear it's chilly though," finished Daphne fishing out a pair of mittens from the inside pockets of her robes before putting them on and staring at Plymouth pointedly.

Ahem-hem. Gentleman leads the way?

Plymouth eyed Daphne through his long (and much needing-to-be-cut) bangs. She assumed they were going outside? Was that the mittens? Orrr... in case he touched she wouldn't get dirty?

With Daphne, who knew?


He nodded at her a few times, sunk his hands down deep into his pockets, and bounced a few awkward times. Plymouth didn't want to ask what he had to ask of Daphne, but... he would, for Cela.

"I'm kind of sweaty from walking this hall and waiting on you. You can have my cloak if you get cold. We can go where ever you were headed. I just want to walk. With you." And ask a favor.

Kevin wandered out of the common room and sighed he wanted to make more friends but he had no luck yet and he still loved Victoria but he was worrying that she was chatting to other boys behind his back and he still missed his mum and was glad that his father was safe and keeping a close eye out for his uncle who was still on the loose but he was glad that he would be able to go home at the summer and not to his aunt and uncles house anymore

Amanda headed up to the Seventh Floor Corridor, after witnessing Gabben go after another Hufflepuff; honestly she was better off in the common room doing some homework rather than being out here wasting her time, she sat down and then began to play her guitar again.

*Gabben ran down the hall looking for Amanda and ended up falling flat on his face in front of her.*
"Ow... sorry..."
*He pulled himself up and tried to pull his robes off his head.*

"Oh bravo, I've never seen a more clumsy entrance" Amanda said then laughed, it seemed as though Gabben was much more clumsy that she thought that he was. She continued playing her guitar as she chuckled and then leaned her head back against the wall.

"I do what I can for you." *Gabben laughed and moved over to sit next to her.*
"I'm sorry... that you had to see that. Are you mad at me?"

"Of course I'm mad, jeez.. I thought that you were supposed to be with me but obviously I was wrong. I guess I was wrong, jeez.. like when you went after that Hufflepuff there was totally no need for it seriously!" Amanda yelled at him, she wasn't impressed to say the least for sure.

Kevin stepped out of the common room intent on going somewhere to do his homework cause he was well behind and he knew that he could get into trouble if he was well behind with his homework.

Kevin didnt want to get another detention because his last one hadn't exactly been delightful and he knew that his father hadnt been pleased when he had found out the reason that kevin thought that he had painted the corridor, Kevin suspected that his uncle had been behind it somehow but he just couldn't put his finger on how his uncle had been able to get anywhere near Kevin while at school, and then it suddenly clicked the candy that Kevin had bought that weekend in Hogsmeade his uncle must have done something to it when Kevin wasn't looking for one small second. Kevin hated his uncle even more now but he was going to have to tell a professor in case he got hurt again

*Gabben was taken aback by the yelling but only frowned.*
"He was egging me on Amanda. Didn't you see that? Anyway it's his fault. He got Kyle sent away!"

"I know, I heard but there's no excuse for it. Honestly, you can just go after him on your own time; unless I don't matter." Amanda yelled at him again, she was getting tired already of this and if this was all that was going to happen, it seemed like she was wasting her time.

"Don't be like that, you know that you matter to me right?" *He was shocked by what she said.*

"Well it doesn't seem like I matter to you at all. You're just focused on your future rather than just dealing with the present." Amanda said and sighed slightly as she leaned her guitar against her chest.

"How could you say that?! The last thing I'm doing is thinking about my stupid future. And heres for dealing in the present-." *He lightly took her chin in his hand and turned her towards himself. He bent down and lightly kissed her then pulled back and his voice was very quite.*
"I'm sorry."

"Well that's not the way I-" Amanda was about her finish her statement as she felt Gabben's hand on her chin; once he kissed her, she blushed a slight crimson and had completely forgotten what she was going to say. "It's alright, I didn't mean to yell at you earlier but I mean at the time it just seemed as though you'd rather go after him rather than just sit there and talk to me." She said as she put her guitar pick back into her pocket.

*Gabben only shook his head and laughed a little. It was funny how calm Amanda was now.*
"Know this, I would rather be talking with you then Prince Helios."

"Well that's good to know, seriously he seems like he thinks he's better than everyone else." Amanda said then laughed a bit, she got that about Helios when he first came into the fifth floor corridor.

Issy had nowhere to go. Right now, she didn't want to return to the Common Room, because she didn't want to be interrupted, but she had no where to go because she really had nothing to do. Her homework for the day had been completed and Willow wasn't in the Common Room nor could she find Becca or Melly or anyone so she supposed she'd just go for a wander.

That was, after all, how she always ran into people.

Though, the list of people had grown considerably shorter. Gavin, Juni, Gemma, Hugo. None of them wandered the hallways anymore.

And where was Samson? Issy had noticed that he hadn't been in classes lately nor had she seen him around the Common Room, 'cos, had he been there, she'd not be here. It was safe to say she missed him, greatly.

Shuffling down the hall, she hummed very softly to herself.

Why was everyone hiding?

It was good to finally be able to stretch his legs again. Samson had had a bad case of the flu, and although the medicine they gave him at the Hospital Wing did wonders for his insides, they did no good for his physicality. He felt all wobbly still, and he still had a slight, dizzying hangover from all that lying down. Ugh. He wasn't athletic, but he wasn't one to be tied down for too long either.

So it was good to be heading back to the Common Room, where hopefully, things would be all normal and would help clear his head. And it would be a relief to finally be able to lay in his own comfortable bed instead of in one of the flat cots in the Hospital Wing.

Slowly climbing the stairs, he started to wonder where everyone might be. He hadn't seen anyone - literally, no one he knew. At all - since he got sick, and it felt like being stranded on an island. He hadn't been able to talk to anyone decent, either. It was always the nurse or the doctor, and all this talk of medicine and getting well and gillyweed and Giant Squids. GAH!

"Please let there be someone I know..." Samson murmured to himself as the memories of his boring stay in the Hospital Wing returned to haunt him. And as if just on cue, he noticed someone wandering the corridor near the Common Room.

Ooh. She was secretly just the person he was hoping to see.

"Issy!" he called out casually to her, giving her a wave and smiling in her direction.

Issy was this close to giving up and returning to the Common Room. That was how desperate she was; she was willing to go in and play with the firsties or make friends with the invader Hufflepuffs. Fortunately, a very familiar, very sought-after, voice called out to her.

As Issy paused, her heart shivered and she turned around slowly, delightedly, to take in the speaker.

His wave cast butterflies into her tummy and her own face instantly split with a grin wide across her face. Even still, Samson never failed to excite her and fill her with joy.

"Samson!" she returned, biting her lower lip before she hurried over towards him, her tiny feet carrying her quickly. "Where've you been?" she gasped as she reached him and, without thought, thew her arms around Samson's middle and pressed her cheek against his abdomen. "I haven't seen you around in the Common Room or classes and..." She paused and lifted her head, shyly, to give Samson a small smile as her cheeks colored pink. "And I've missed you."

And so she had.

Though over the summer, nothing conclusive had come over the two, Issy still felt on the brim of a new relationship, always a flutter and sweet and happy and sappy around Samson.

Though, to be fair. She'd always felt that way around him.

Samson couldn't help but chuckle a bit when Issy all but flung herself towards him and hugged him as though she couldn't hug him any more. However, he didn't totally hug her back all the way. He just put a hand on her back and stroked her there a few times. He shifted in her arms so he could look down on her, and smiled some more at her words.

"Well, you see, I've been sick, Issy," he said with a shrug. "So I've been in the Hospital Wing. But now I'm all better and the nurse said I was allowed to go back to the Common Room. So I did, and I'm on my way back now."

He had to admit, he was still a bit on the woozy side, and he was still a bit pale, but that was nothing some fresh air and healthy food couldn't fix. Blah blah...

"... And I've missed you, too, Issy," he added on a softer note.

"I hope you haven't been worrying about me," he teased as he probed her arms apart and removed them from his waist. Then he lead her to his side as he put an arm around her shoulder and lead the way back to the Common Room. "Where are you off to, then?"

Bright eyes stared up at Samson, first admiring, then quickly turning to worry and horror. "Sick?" squeaked the tiny girl, clenching a fistful of his shirt. Her brows fell down over her eyes, knitting together curiously. "Why didn't you tell me? Or owl me? Of course I've been worried about you - you all but disappeared. And... oh! Shame on me! What a rotten... friend... I am - I hadn't even thought to check the Hospital Wing for you!"

A stricken look covered Issy's face and she nibbled the inside of her lower lip. Now that he mentioned it, she noted that he did look a bit paler than he typically did. Ag! And here she was, holding him from bed! He probably wanted to get to his room and get some sleep.

As Samson began to guide them towards the Common Room, Issy eyed him curiously, sneaking a hand up to the hand which dangled from around her shoulders and gently, she stroked his fingers.

"Truthfully, I was off to nowhere, but I should probably be getting you back to the Common Room, ought I?" The worry was still evident in her voice. "Of course I was worried," she reiterated, almost as if talking to herself. "How could I be such a fool not to check there? You probably were bored and lonely, too. And... here I was, just wallowing about and missing you."

Merlin how she'd missed him.

"Woah, easy there little flower, or you'll end up getting sick as well," Samson told her, patting her shoulder. "I wasn't able to tell you because, well, I was sick after all. Owls aren't allowed to stay at the Hospital Wing. They might get sick, too. I did say I was okay. I feel much better now than I did these past few days, and it really does mean a lot to me knowing that you've been worried and that you've been thinking about me," he added, a bit reluctantly at first, but then as soon as he got that off his chest, he felt a lot better. That was what he truly, sincerely felt after all. It was nice to know that Issy cared even just a bit. Honestly, it was good for him to know that she cared about him first and foremost. It helped clear his head.

"And don't you dare say you're not a good friend. Getting all that peace and quiet in the Hospital Wing helped me get better faster... Not that I don't totally appreciate you wanting to visiting me and all! It's just that the nurse would probably tell you not to bother me or anything since I'd need all the rest I can get, yadda yadda yadda..." He wasn't just saying that to reassure her, of course. It was true that the nurse would probably have run her out of the Hospital Wing by force if she had to.

"Now, there's absolutely no need to worry about me now. I can do it on my own. Of course, it would be nice for you to... you know..." he paused a bit, looking down on her, and unconsciously pulling her closer to his side, "...If you wanna make it up to me you could spend the rest of the day looking after me. You know, in case I get sick again. I hear there's a lot of commotion in the Ravenclaw Common Room. Care to tell me what all that's about, hm?"

It was so strange and so... un-Samson-like for him to be so casual, and so physical. Issy just had that effect on him. Weird.

"I would say it's because he's royal. But then again that looks bad on me."
*Gabben laughed a little then frowned.*
"Helios hurt my oldest and best friend... but I wont fight or doing anything about it around you. Sound fair?"
