Dani jumped off of Clark and ran and tackle-hugged Jake. "You're alive!" She was so happy! Then she turned and glared at Professor Vindictus. She had liked him until he had tried to kill Jake. What a meanie. She looked over at Clark still laying there. Hmm.. Were they still gonna go through with Operation Water Balloon? She still had payback to attend to.

Meh. Vindictus let go of Jake and breathed a sigh of relief. "I want you to go shower and put on some clean clothes. Then I want you to go down to the Great Hall and have a giant glass of pumpkin juice and eat some food. No sweets. Can you do that, Jake?"
He looked up at Dani and Clark. "Can the two of you make sure he gets some solid food in him? And keep the sweets away from him for at least a day. We don't want this little Quidditch player to eat too much sugar, do we?"

Dani watched as Clark lifted Jake up. "Ok." She nodded at the professor and then helped to stabalize Jake. "Come on Jake. Let's get you out of here so Clark can get you cleaned up." She loved her friends really, but she was not going to help with cleaning him up. Eww. She snagged the enchanted water balloons from Clark and slid them in her pocket. She'd have to do it on her own apparently. "I have a little chocolate in my bag." She whispered to Jake.

Dani waved goodbye to her friends as they left and then moved back toward the Common Room with the balloons in her pocket. She was sleepy. Revenge could wait until after her nap. She pulled out her bar of chocolate and began to munch. Now that Jake was gone she didn't feel bad about eating chocolate. Hopefully hers wouldn't make her sick. She smiled at the Professor, sort of, before going into the Common Room.

Vindictus said the charm several times until the floor was clean and the corridor was rid of the smell. Tucking his wand away, he hurried off to the closet where he knew spare school uniforms were kept.

He realized he still had his book in his hand and he smiled. Spotting a window that was clear of any students, he headed over to it and stood near it, and cracked open the book.

Becca had sort of a lost expression on her face as she made her way down the hall. She... had no idea where she was going. She just wanted her girls or Lainey to be there to hug her. Sure, it was lovely to be with Copernicus and Sabrina briefly, but the feeling of being alone lingered in the pit of her stomach. There was a gap in her heart she wasn't sure how to fill with the absence of so many people she loved.
She'd get by somehow, though. Maybe... maybe she could go get her saxophone and play in the middle of the hallway. Yeah! Then she'd be happy. At the thought, her spirits were boosted already. She continued to shuffle her shoes along the floor as she walked, though, taking her time. She had all the time in the world when she walked alone.

Becca heard someone coming before she even saw them. It sort of sounded like they were stomping - but she turned to see that, in fact, the person was just walking abnoxiously fast and hard. So, she stopped, waited for him to get to her, then joined in and walked right beside Plymouth Morgan. She surely didn't swing her arms all crazy like he did, though. Oh no. She wasn't going to look ridiculous that easily. "Whoa there Plym! Are we on a mission? I'm SO in! Let's go adventuring!" And she was super serious.

Becca laughed at his excitement at first. But then... he acted funny. He slid down to the floor suddenly as if someone hit an off switch. He just... turned off. Randomly. "You okay there, bud?" She slid down next to him and nudged his side. "You're not looking so great. I mean, you ARE, 'cause you're a good lookin' guy and all, but you just... look sick. Maybe that's it." She felt his forehead and pulled back quickly to scrunch her nose up at the sweat now covering her hand. That was her own fault though.

Becca wiped her hand off on her robes in disgust, not taking her eyes off Plymouth's face. He appeared to be extremely out of it - like his mind was running eighty-seven places at once. "Just a muffin? That must be it. You need more food. I smuggled some homemade chocolate chip cookies in a safe-sealed container up in my trunk, if you're hungry for something sweet."
His question caught her completely off guard. She expected anything but that to come out of his mouth. "Look at me, Plymouth. I'm a soccer player. I'm as tough as nails!" Not lately. But. She would be for him. "Do I need to punch someone in the face? Did..." Her mouth dropped straight down and her eyes widened. "Did someone hurt you? I'll take 'em DOWN! Gimme a name. I'll go get 'em."

Becca's eyes widened even more. She looked at her balled-up fist against his forehead and slid it down to his chin, gently taking it in her hand and turning his face to look at her. "What... in the world is going on? You've always been the happiest person I know. I am NOT going to punch you." She moved her hand down and rested it on his hand comfortingly, then looked into his eyes, trying to figure out if he was insane or under some kind of unhappy spell, if there was such a thing. "Talk to me, Plymouth. Why are you like this? You're... scaring me. You're not supposed to be like this."
