He pushed some of her hair out of her forehead. "It was bothering me," he shrugged. "It wasn't in the right place." |

Cute little girl? Clark thought she was cute?!?! Yay!!!!!! "Hmm.. That might work." She was thinking when he moved her hair. "I like it that way." She shook her head until her hair went back to how it had been. She could be so stubborn at times. Then she stuck out her tongue at him in a playful way. |
I love the smell of drama in the morning.... okay afternoon. Evolette shrugged, turning her back on the whole scene as Karma took her arm, and started to lead her off. YAY It was time for besties bonding, and gossiping, but that was essential to good bonding time anyway. Tossing one last look over her shoulder, she waved at the three left in the wake, "See you later Wessy." she called, giving him a flirtatious wink. Yes. Later. For they had much to talk about. "Bye....other people." she added, halfheartedly. Ooooooh. Her attention, which, granted by now was equal to that with a child who had ADHD, due to the boredom, snapped back to Karma and she gasped, "Ohh. Like a secret?" she asked, grinning. Evolette loved secrets, almost as much as she loved boys. Which was an awful lot. Reaching up, as Precious hopped onto her shoulder, Evee gave the kitten a little hug, before she passed her back to Karma, "I just need to detour to the Common Room to pick up Muffin." she said, steering her friend in the direction of the Gryffindor/Slytherin common room. "And then we're all yours." |

"You're funny." Dani reached out and ruffled his hair. Laughing, she noticed that parts of his hair liked to stick up in clumps. "We should go find Jake. If he's even out yet." She noticed a random green string hanging off the edge of her bag. "Well that's certainly strange." She pulled it off. "I wonder where it came from." |

"It's a string." She followed after him. "No I haven't been outside- wait yes I have. I was down at the lake talking to Lucas. But I didn't see in random green string while I was there." She took it from him. He looked kinda funny. "Are you okay Clark?" Dani worried about him sometimes. He was rather strange. |
"I-I don't l-like that string," he cried, backing away. "Get...it away...from me." Clark started to sob. Not being able to bear it any longer, he ran away from it. Because there was a secret- He was allergic to the color green. That could seem odd, but he couldn't deal with it. His throat closed up and it was an interesting scene for everyone-except for him. He was only tender about that allergy. |
Aschere strode down the corridor. She wasn't particularly used to walking gracefully, especially when she was agitated. She glanced briefly up at the wall and saw the figure on the tapestry wink at her and mime a little jig. Aschere grinned, winking back. It would seem that the figures on the wall hadn't forgotten that term, some years back, that she had (rather uncharacteristically) danced through each and every corridor in Hogwarts, to win the Gryffindor Challenge. She had ended in the Great Hall with every painting in the building crowding in and dancing behind her. She wondered with a start whether any of those in the lower floors had survived the flood by escaping higher up. "Silly me, worrying about paintings," she muttered, distractedly, but her furrowed brow did not smooth out. She continued pacing, without really thinking about where she would go next, she just needed to walk. |

Dani dropped her stuff to the ground(including the string) and chased after Clark whenhe started to cry. She hugged him, which looked rather awkward due to her smallness, and asked. "What's wrong Clark?" She was really worried this time. Why was he so freaked out about a string? |
"Well, well, well," Jake teased, leaning up against the wall, just ahead of Clark and Dani. "What have we here? Do I need to call the PDA police?" He grinned. Jake hadn't been hanging around for that long, but enough to know that they were up to something... something he didn't want a part of. "Whatever you're up to... I don't want anything to do with it," he said abruptly, walking up to the crying boy and concerned girl. Dang it... I need to go see Lawson. |
Clark was crushed by the small girl. "No, I'm fine. Just...I'm allergic to the color green. So, can you like, not get anything green around me?" he breathed out. And here came Jake, who was finally out of detention. "So, Nurse A finally let you out." Clark joked. "Actually, we do have a little...'project' that you can help with. But if you don't want any part of it...." he trailed off. "And no, you don't need to call them. They're probably too concerned with " those first years "people who actually are dating." he continued. |
Dani laughed and seperated herself from Clark. Facing Jake she said, "Whatever. If you wanna miss the water balloons it's up to you." She turned back to Clark and asked him. "So how soon do you think we can do this? I think if we just do it ourselves then I can keep you from getting detention, I mean look at me, would I lie?" She looked at him with an innocent expression on her face, but an evil glint in her eye. She liked this whole pranking kind of thing. |
The second Dani mentioned something about waterballoons, Jake flattened his palms against his ears to block out the noise, before singing (insanely, I might add), "I can hear the seeeea, I can seee the seeeeeea." No... no, I don't know either. Wandering over to the window, Jake found that he could NOT see the sea... but he coooould see Professor Morgan's hut. He needed to go find her... |
Clark nodded. "I guess it's just a preference, if Jake doesn't want another detention..." he trailed off and sighed for emphasis. He stared at Jake. "You are really going to pass up an oppurtunity to prank your most hated teacher?" he asked. The Jake he knew would be jumping at this. "You won't get detention..." he murmured. |
Dani smiled at Jake. "Please Jake. You won't even have to do the bombing, just the distracting." She tried to sound persuasive. What happened to the fun crazy Jake? She pouted. This really wouldn't be as much fun without him. What was wrong with him? |
"I can't," Jake said bluntly, frowning out of the window. "If I get one more detention, I'm off the quidditch team..." And THAT would not be happening. "As it happens, Professor Lawson is giving me... kind of extra lessons. In the duelling arena... I'm sure his attentions will be focused on the lesson when we do them." NOT that Jake was hinting or anything. Hmmm, Jake still had the last chocolate frog that Vindy had given him. The one with the puking pastille in it (not that Jake knew). He was about to unwrap it so as to nom, but decided against it. "Maybe later," he said, somewhat cryptically. |
Clark eyed the chocolate frog, which had a purple-orange stick in it. Something he recognized as a puking pastille. He was just about to stop Jake, when he stopped himself. "Hey, Jake, we'll walk you there. Just a second." Clark ran down the hall down to the common room and got his 90-pack of water balloons. He pulled out his wand and muttered the incantation on the bag. When they reached the air, they would fill up with water and become true-water balloons. "C'mon let's go." Clark nodded and pulled out a balloon to show Dani for a fraction of a second. Jake would eat his chocolate frog and start throwing up, he would go get Lawson to 'help', and Dani would start throwing the balloons. It was a perfect plan. |
Dani laughed at Clark. She eyed the water balloons. It was now or never. "Let's go!" She was losing her nerve. That was bad. She could do this. If she got detention well she got detention. This would be fun. She giggled again. "This is gonna be fun." He was about to learn why you never want to make a midget eleven year old angry. |
"We'll walk with you there, Jake." Clark said. "C'mon." He nodded at Dani. He was more worried about her than himself. If she could do this, he would be confident. Of course, he didn't know Proffeser Lawson all that well, and so he could probably slide away from punishment. |
"... why do you have water balloons to walk me there?" Jake asked, a bit confused. He'd only mentioned he needed to go somewhere. Hmmm... odd people. "You guys... you better not get me in trouble..." Jake muttered warily, biting his lip. He didn't like the look on his friends' faces. Something. Was. Up. |
"Dani and I are thirsty," Clark added as his cover story. "Cos we've been up here most of the day and it's so...humid." he nodded firmly. "We would never get you in trouble." Intentionally. Oh wait, they did get him in trouble intentionally once. Oops. But whatever happened, Jake had to think that Nothing. Was. Up. |
"Yeah." Dani jumped in. "We're uhh thirsty." What the heck? Clark was not good at cover stories. She hoped Jake would believe. "We so would not get you in trouble." Wait. Hadn't she been partially responsible for his last detention? Oops. We're. Not. Up. To. Anything. |
"Uhhhhhh... no..." Jake shook his head, backing away a tad. "I don't... I don't think that... that you should come..." he added, still shaking his head, slipping the frog back into his pocket. "I... I don't think I'm even going to go..." He. Wanted. To. Play. Quidditch. And. Not. Be. On. Hogwarts'. List. Of. Most. Troublemakers. |
"Nonsense, Jake!" Clark laughed and pulled Jake towards their final destination. And then, he picked Jake up. And then, he walked with him down the hall. Jacob. "Jakers". Upstead. Was. Going. To. The. Defense. Against. The. Dark. Arts. Classroom. And. Then. To. Lawson's. Office. Or. Else. Clark. Would. Have. To. Perform. An. Intervention. |
