"Hmm," Fyo said, nodding absent-mindedly as Torin mentioned something along the lines of ink. Now, where was that FAT kind of journal he was looking for? The FAT, leather-bound kind, y'know.

"I don't write a journal," Fyo said, jerked back to earth by Torin's comment. "I practice Arithmancy in it, mate."

He watched the kid glancing around. "You picky about your Arithmancy notebooks?"

Fyo looked up, and smiled slightly. "It's no problem, you can," he said with a chuckle. "I don't mind it. In fact, I'm pretty glad I like studying. Though I do dislike it when my little sister Nova calls me.. a rhino," he frowned slightly. Yeah, Nova's substitute for "nerd" was "rhino."

Which was just silly.

GAH!

"Nope, not really," he said, when Torin asked me if he was picky about his Arithmancy notebooks. "Leather-bound journals are just cooler." Heavier, yes, but cooler, too.

"Rhino? What the hell?" He blinked and laughed at Fyo. His sister sounded weird or something. "How old is your sister?"

He nodded and started looking over the shelves seeing if he could help Fyo find the book that he was looking for.

Fyo caught the look on Torin's face, and a merry smile crept up his own. "She's not even seven yet," he told Torin warmly. "But she can be a right pain in the head. Though, of course, I love her," he added, with a slight smile.

Now, where had those leather-bound journal things run off too? Fyo half-sighed as he made his way to the next shelf, and finally managed to spot the edge of what looked like one. YAY!

So that explained it. Little kids were cute even though they could be annoying and weird. "I know what you mean. I feel that way about my sister at times. But I still love her. We have a close bond." Even though he hadn't seen her in ages.. That was like Dani though.

He smiled as Fyo seemed to have found the book that he was looking for. That was good. Now he could go and grab some ink for himself. And good that the ink wasn't far off.

He quickly went and grabbed 2 bottles of black ink.

"You have a little sis, too?" Fyo asked, looking up from the shelf he was now examining. "What's her name?" he asked, conversationally. "Mine's is Nova. Actually, it's Xion, but her nickname is Nova, and we've called her that since forever," he explained.

He waited as Torin set off to grab some ink, meanwhile examining the different journals stacked, neatly, in front of him. "I think this will do," he told Torin, picking one up and feeling its weight. Whoa, heavy.

"Actually, she's my Twin. A bit older than me. Her name's Danika, but we always call her Dani." They both had sisters with weird names. It was sorta funny in a way. "How come her nickname is Nova?"

Seeing that they both had what they needed, Torin headed towards the cash and waited for Fyo to join him.

Oooh, twin!

"That must be great," Fyo said. "I don't know many people who have twin brothers or sisters," he told Torin, with a shake of his head. Xion = Nova -> How? Well, that wasn't exactly a very catchy story or anything, but Fyo was all ready to tell it, anyway.

"She had an interest in space stuff," he told Torin. "I mean, she always went on about planets and things like that when she was even younger, so dad started calling her Supernova. And the name eventually shortened to Nova." And then to Nov.

And then Torin was hurrying away. "Waiit!" Fyo called out. "I need a new quill." His last one had snapped into two, all thanks to that fat owl of his. Shaking his head, he followed his new friend.

He could grab a quill on the way, y'know.

He nodded at that first statement. That was too true. Then he listened to the story about his sister's nickname. "Interesting. Space is cool, but I'm not the best at that kind of thing. Astronomy isn't my best subject." Though he was better at that than Ancient Runes at least.

He slowed down and turned around as Fyo said that he needed a new quill. Now walking backwards, he waited for his friend to get the quill and catch up.

"I'm pretty good at it," Fyo said, nodding his head, when Torin mentioned that he was not great at Astronomy. "Actually, I'm good at pretty much all the subjects - except Ancient Runes, sometimes."

But he was working on that, trust you me.

He paused to pick up a quill and, once he had done so, joined Torin again. "So, you wanna go somewhere else?" he asked, once he had paid for the leather-bound journal and the new quill, both.

He paid for his inks and then became thoughtful. "Wanna go out and throw snowballs at people?" He gave a little wink.

Fyo gave Torin a friendly smile. "I'm all ready to help," he said, with a nod of his head. "Studying is just my thing - can't help it." And he couldn't. Seriously.

Snowballs? Ohmygosh, SNOW! "Definitely!" Fyo exclaimed, bounding towards the door of the quill shop, and half dragging Torin alongside him. This was going to be SUCH fun, dude!

Evolette looked at Plymouth like he was insane. Like he had lobsters crawling out of his ears. Like he had just told her that he sleeps with a stuffed anteater and he kisses it every night before he goes to sleep.

"No. I do not." she assured him, finding her voice finally.

Well, she had boots, but, no fuzzy ones.

Hmmmm....Plymouth had brought her in the back of the shop. She looked around, blinking a few times before shrugging, she knew a few things that they could do back here, but she kept them, and her lips, to herself.

"You're kidnapping me?" she guessed, giggling.

Plymouth was oblivious to his shoe suggestion crime. Really, what was wrong with the fuzzy boots? Plymouth Morgan would just MAKE her some. He was crafty like that.

Plymouth dropped her hands so that he could pick up two handful of assorted colored quills. "You know what a tattoo is? You're going to GET ONE." Because, Plymouth could draw a bit... and no ink was truly permanent...

Clapping, Evolette grinned. YAY! She'd wanted one. And she almost got one in Italy this past summer, until Dominik - who thinks he is her father or something- caught her.

HMPF.

Picking a random quill from his hand, Evolette twirled it between her slender fingers, her eyes shot to Plymouth though. "There's only one problem." she started, pouting, "I am very indecisive."

See? He read books too. Sometimes. For the pictures. He'd learned that bit of info in one of Truebridge's classes, where he'd been flipping through his book looking for pictures he could doodle during class.

Chewing on her lip, Evolette tried to think of the best place for her new tattoo. The only spot she kept coming back to, was her shoulder, and she pulled Plymouth's sweater off of her shoulders. "There." she decided, gesturing to the space of skin from the base of her neck, to her shoulder blade and over to the tip of her shoulder. "Wherever you want." she added.

That decided, Evolette now wondered what exactly Plymouth was going to draw on her shoulder. Oh dear. Knowing Plymouth...anything was possible.

"This is one of those things your brothers might break and/or claim my fingers for, huh?" That's what Nico had threatened Plymouth with for NO APPARENT REASON, so it seemed likely that giving a tattoo... would be justifiable reason enough to hurt Plymouth. Hmm. Yes. Probalby. "Hehe."

Plymouth's face transformed to all seriousness as he went to work on his art work. Good thing the owner of the shop was senile, or they miiight have gotten thrown out. When he was done, Plymouth blew on her shoulder so the ink would dry faster.

"Hehe - what do you think?" It was a little kitten with a puffapod clasped in its tail. It was SOOOOO Plymmy meets Evolette McKenna.

"Probably." Evolette replied simply. If Dominik had not allowed her to get one with him present, then he certainly would not appreciate this. However, this was only ink from a quill, not exactly as permanent as a real tattoo.

Craning her neck, Evolette twisted her shoulder so that she could see Plymmy's creation. "Fabulous." she grinned. It was very obviously coming right out of Plymouth's imagination. Evolette held her hair back on one shoulder as she waited a little longer for the ink to dry.

"Where do you want yours?" she asked, eying him.

It was more permanent that Evolette thought it was. Plymouth was already pondering who he could ask about getting it off. Obviously Cela came to mind first, but he would feel kind of weird explaining this one to her. Not that he wouldn't, but it was still weird. Copernicus would probably know something but then he wasn't exactly friends with Plymouth currently, so that was out.

He'd just have to stick with Kazimeriz and Vindictus. Or Albert.

"I wish I had a pretty sleeveless dress on. I'd put mine where you put yours so that we'd match." But, clearly, Plymouth did not have on a dress and his shoulder was not as easily accessible. "Here," he shoved his shirtsleeve up and offered her his inner forearm. "Here's good. I can stare at it in class and stuff."

Evolette eyed Plymouth. IF he did have a sleeveless dress on, this date would have ended a LONG time ago. Yes.

Clearing her throat, and shaking her head to get the image of Plymouth Morgan in a dress away from her thoughts, Evolette chose a few select colors and went to work on his arm.

....what was she going to draw? Flowers? Plymouth liked flowers. He'd told her.

Chewing on her lip as she drew a small flower, leaning against Plymouth so that he couldn't see until she was done.

Once she was done, the finishing touch was to sign her name in one of the petals, just big enough for him to see it, but small enough to blend in, if someone just glanced at it. "There." She let go of his arm and tucked her hair behind her ear.

"OooOooooo!" Plymouth grinned at her handy work. "Not bad, Evolette! And did you know that...," he tilted his arm up to the light, "it looks a bit like the hyacinths that I got for Christmas. I love... love... hyacinths." Plymouth nuzzled his tattoo with his nose.

"Does it make me look tough and manly, you think?" Even though.. it was a flower.
