Elizabeth could tell Robert was getting anxious or something, but she couldn't come up with any thoughts any faster. Not when she kept being distracted by how good it felt having him stroking her hand like that. But her eyes went back to his face as she just barely heard what he said. Looking at him steadily for a while, she slightly moved, swinging their entertwined fingers for a moment. "This," she said in a whisper. The fact that it felt so right. And how she didn't want him to be worried or anything. She blinked when he suddenly took her other hand as well, momentarily glancing down at it before he spoke again. And then her green eyes went back to his, as she quietly listened to what he said. It was odd, but right at that exact moment, other than the fact she had to remind herself to breathe, it was like her nervousness had vanished. And she just wanted him to feel the same way. When he finished speaking, she squeezed his hand a bit before smiling. Taking a deep breath of her own, she spoke. "Yes." She paused, trying to keep looking at him but feeling herself starting to flush faintly again. "I like you more than just being friends too," she confessed softly, closing her eyes as she tried to get it out. "I don't really know if I could just pretend I didn't." She knew there were so many reasons why she shouldn't feel that way, but it didn't change anything. She was just going to hope the important people understood. |
Kel smiled as he entered the room. He'd been wanting nothing special; a place to just...hang out. Relax. Have fun. So, the room that he'd been given was fully equipped with a bunch of fluffy bean bags. And books. But he didn't ask for those. Smiling to himself, he took a running leap and landed face-first in a fluffy, dark blue bean bag. Feeling quite comfortable, he stayed there, head down, his arms and legs sprawled out in a 'flying' position. |
Ooc: I think I got lost on the race up here... =0] Satine had heard that the Room of Requirement was the place to sit back and focus on things and just well relax. She really didn't want to relax but more find a comfortable place to work on her banner/sign for the Quidditch match next week. When she walked in she immediately noticed two things...one: a huge and I mean HuGe!! fluffy beanbag chair in purple...and two: a familiar face sitting nearby it. Satine walked into the RoR rather dignified so that those walking by outside wouldn't think she was crazy, but as soon as she had crossed the threshhold, she ran and did a cannon ball into the big fluffy purple beanbag hoping that she wouldn't pop it halfway in the air. Once she was settled, she turned to the familiar face, "Hey stranger! Long time not talkie!" she said with her usual smile on her face. |
Mwhaha. I'm the winnnnner! ;D When Kel heard a familiar voice, he lifted his head up out of the fluffiness of the bean bag. "Hello, Madame," he greeted happily, rolling over to sit on the bean bag in a more dignified mannor. He looked around the room, then back at Satine. "Hey...isn't this place suppose to keep weird people from following you into it?" he asked, grinning. "How have you been?" he asked, settling further down into the bean bag. "Like you said, long time no talkie. What's been goin' on in your life?" He smiled when he realized what color bean bag Satine was on. The purple on the bag clashed horribly with her hair. (;)) |
"h-a-h-a...you are so funny...." she said with a wink and soft pinch on his arm. "I know it feels like forever and a day since I saw you last yet alone talked to you." she paused for a minute to make herself more comfortable..that was the only thing about bean bags that sucked they just moved all the time..."Well nothing too exciting I guess...I'm playing Gobstones and on the Ravvie Reader which is pretty exciting....but other than that just class and homework...O, and I've been trying to get people to make posters for the Quidditch game next week." she hoped she didn't say all of that too fast...she had a habit of that when she got excited. "What about you? Any new gossip?" she said with a smile. |
Kel grinned, leaning back as she pinched him. "That was rude," he said lightly, with a chuckle. He waited, an eyebrow cocked sarcastically, as she figited, trying to make herself comfortable. "Gobstones, Ravvie Reader...class, homework, and posters," he repeated with a nod, making sure he got everything. "How are the posters coming along?" he asked, remembering their conversation about how Sat wanted to get more House Spirit into Quidditch matches. Oh...new gossip with him. He could feel his ears going red as his mind automatically went to his latest piece of news. "Ihaveagirlfriend," he muttered almost unintelligibly. It was kind of weird to say that, because just a few days ago, he would never have expected the sentence to be truthful. |
"O, sorry" she said sarcastically and rolled her eyes, "it wasn't that hard of a pinch." she liked talking to Kel it was like having an older brother to pick on. "Yea, I guess I like to keep busy or I get bored or something like that." "Well, so far I don't really know I hung up a couple of signs at the beginning of the week, but it's been so hectic around the castle that I think it's on the back burner, so I may repost them tomorrow. I made mine and it's really Rawkin!" she made the last word longer than the rest and gave a thumbs up sign. "But we'll have to see. I may just have to make all of them for the first match until it catches on." which wouldn't be too bad, she thought.... What did he just say? interrupted her thoughts...she knew it...she just knew it..."Did you say you have a girlfriend?" she asked again with a huge smile when she noticed his ears turning red at the top. "Who is she? What does she look like? Would I approve?" she asked all the usual questions and then realized she was probably be nosy...."Sorry, I don't mean to be a nose...but I just want to know." she finished with an exaggerated puppy dog face. |
Cela did that whole three times blah blah blah thing and walked into the Room of Requirement, sort of wondering what it was she required that the room was going to deliver. UGH! ROOM! She glared around. It was empty apart from a table with a couple of chairs and a box of tissues. Like some freaky interrogation joint. Well that wouldn't do. Celandine closed her eyes and after a few moments she opened them and the room had changed to a nice comfortable living room with deep cushioned chairs. The box of tissues was still there though. She bit her lip and sunk into one of the chairs to wait. |
Plymouth got lost 3 times on the way to the Room of Requirement. He'd have to remember to ask Professor Shack if that meant anything, the three thing. Anyway, finally, he made it. He had a date with his CellBell. Plymouth followed the directions she'd given him, passing by the door three different times, then entered. Nothing about the room changed though. Plymouth all he required already there. "Hey CellBell! Sorry I'm... you know, a little tardy. Got lost." Plymouth roamed into the room and turned around a few times to check it out. Hmm. Interesting. Reminded him sort of his living room at the Kettleburn Cottage. |

"Hey pretty girl," Plymouth greeted her - again. He plopped down in one of the big chairs and bounced on the cushion. Hm. Good bounce. Maybe they could jump on them later... not like anyone could get on to them in this room, right? But, focus, right. "So...what do you want to do today? Homework?" Cela DID like her homework. "Or did you want ... to dance or something?" Plymouth "hehe'd", but he would do whatever she wanted. |

Probably she shouldn't draw it out but what was a few more minutes really? She shifted slightly and smiled at him a bit uncertainly, "Dancing... would... be nice. We didn't get to do much of that at my party..." |
Plymouth blew his air and his curly bangs went flying upward. "Yeah... Yeah. I'm sorry about that." Meh. Plymouth opened his mouth to say more or explain himself, but .. she already knew, so he bit it off. No sense ruining a good dance. .... music started??? Plymouth's eyes got HUGE and wide. "Hey! COOL! It ... the room.. heard us," Plymouth finished in a whisper. He popped up to his feet and held a hand out for Cela. "May I, Miss Toussaint? Make up for my lack of birthday dances?" |

"It has been pretty hectic," he agreed, shrugging. But he figured that a bit of house spirit would cheer everyone up. Oh well. "Well, I'd be happy to hold up a sign during the game," he said, smiling briefly. That didn't sound like him, really. He'd be more the one sitting in the back row away from everyone else. ...Jenn was corrupting his mind and making him social! "And do I get the honor of seeing your rawkin poster?" He looked away at her huge grin. He knew he shouldn't've told her. At all of her questions, he rolled his eyes. Yes - she was very much like a little sister. "She's Jenn Blood, Satine." He was sure that they knew each other, Jenn knew everyone. With a sigh, he looked back at Satine. "And no, it's fine. Curiousity." he shook his head at her puppy dog face. "Anyway. Is she approvable?" he asked, raising an eyebrow sarcastically. |

Plymouth grinned as he took her hand. "Jelly time," he laughed, spinning her twice before bringing her into for a dancing position. "Maybe ice cream time later?" Jelly and ice cream. "Hehe..." Plymouth put a hand on her back and kept her other in his hand. But, he sort of didn't any other good dance moves. He tried though, real hard, and maybe Cela appreciated that. |

"I'm not," Plymouth laughed. "I lack moves. Albert said he'd teach me though, so maybe I'll learn over Christmas break." Plymouth refrained from more twirls - since she wasn't feeling them. "Your tummy hurt or something? Not feeling good? I'll go get you something?" |
Quote:
"Yeah my tummy hurts." Celandine agreed, "Not feeling good." |
"Ohhh... well hey, let's sit down. I can run up to Healer Avalon and get you something real quick if you want." Plymouth automatically reached up to feel her head for fever. "Come on," he escorted her over to the chair. He squatted down in front of the chair and bounced a little, waiting for her to voice what she needed so he could get it. |

Hearing her repeat the words he said a smile crept to his face and turned into a larger grin. "I don't think I could either." Though if she had said otherwise he would have done his damndest to try. Letting go of her hands he cupped her face in his hands and stared into her eyes. He couldn't have been happier really. "This...could prove interesting." He smirked and moved closer, "Though I like it. A lot." Leaning in fully he kissed her again. |

Celandine squished herself into the chair and bit her lip. |

"Ummm...." Plymouth didn't exactly remember any talk that left them 'just pretending like things were okay'... But... he sort of had an idea. Sort of. "I guess so. Why? What's up, CellBell?" Plymouth sometimes had a hard time paying attention to people for long periods of time, but he was the most attentive boy in the whole wide for Cela in this moment. |

But then she heard what he said, and it was like all her tension left her. At least it appeared they were in agreement, which meant they either had to be together or everything was just going to fall apart spectacularly. And she wasn't about to watch that, so she preferred the former. She didn't want to emphasize how much she preferred the former, even though she knew it was going to be difficult. And she opened her eyes when he dropped her hands, only to feel him cupping her face as he looked down at her with a smile. Smiling back at him, she brought her hands up to loosely grasp his wrists, almost to keep him where he was. "It definitely could," she whispered. "But I like it too." And then her words were cut off when he kissed her again, and her mind sort of went blank. |

What? "I'm sorry. I'm a bad person. A really bad person. You should be with someone nicer. Somebody that isn't all weird like I am. We've had some fun though right? Goat furm?" She wasn't making any sense, but Celandine trucked on. "You make me happy and we have fun... for a really long time now, right?" A year? It was a long LONG time for a fourteen year old. |
