Ryder went to the stereo. "Anyone can dance to the slow stuff, it requires less thinking." He put on a with a great beat and immediately started into his footwork. He then started into an intense body wave. Mid song he took off his shirt and threw it at Simone. He winked at her then did a one footed spin that lasted a while. After his spin, he set himself to do a backflip, did the flip but landed on his back. He flipped back into a handstand then went into a bunch of one handed breaks and spins. He then just stopped and walked over to the bar. He leaned on the bar to get closer to her face. "Ready to say I told you so?" |

He nodded as she suggested he head back to his dormitory. "I suppose you're right. And we'll be back here when we win the cup, anyway," he added. "Alright!" he said, thrusting his wrists into the air as if he was chained. "Take me away, Lo-ey!" he said dramatically. |

Simone folded her arms across her chest, pursed her lips, and glared at him. That comment was utterly rude. Least she forget who shes talking too! She watched as he moved so fluidly. He was great. SHe couldnt deny it, but she wouldn't tell him. His head is as big as the universe as it was. It didnt need expanding. She laughed when his shirt landed on top of her head, but bit her lip noticing how amazing his body was. But once he stopped, as well as the music, she put her you-never-gonna-beat-me face on and just kept her eyes on his face. "Ready to say....that was great. But I did so many more tricks then you." she stuck out her tounge and smiled. She took a deep breath and sighed. "Im sorry darling. It looks like a tie. Thats the only way this will ever end." She sighed again shaking her head with a grin on her face. |

A cocky smile came to his face and he leaned up against the bar. It was time to collect and time to think. What does she have that I want? "Tell you what. I'm tired and need a shower. Pick a time and a place for me to collect whatever it is I want from you and we may have a chat about your man Leo." He wiped his face again and started toward the door. |

"Accio towel!" Simone said as she pointed her wand in the direction that her towel was in. What he wanted from her? Interesting. She caught her towel as it zoomed towards her. She then slowly wiped the sweat of her face, and neck. She thought for a moment. "I guess the courtyard tomorrow...after potions." There wasnt much that she had that he would really want anyways. She slowly walked towards the door slightly behind him. "What exactly do you want from me?" Curiosity swept over her. |

Simone was caught by surprise when he stopped right infront of her and got right in her face. Boy did he smell good...even sweaty. WHAT WAS THIS!? She was about to reply when he just walked out. She shook her head, "Bloody hell." She sighed and and gave a small giggle, before walking out of the door herself, and going the opposite direction. This should be interesting. She wanted to tell Professor Morgan, but she didnt know how much she could tell without telling the whole story. She pondered this while walking back to her common room. |

Everything was in there that she wanted - a big fluffy couch, a guitar and stand and sheet music plastered on the walls, but there was a piano there too. She hadn't thought about that, so he must have been thinking about it while she was pacing. Oh well, she could play the piano. On the walls there were her favorite french doors that always appeared whenever she came by the room, but right now they couldn't be opened due to the snow that was piling outside the door. The curtains looked nice and warm, and it was overcast outside so the right amount of light was inside the room. There was a lamp in the corner, and some candles scattered about the room. But Emiliano's favorite part would be the table near the back, full with food and drinks - all of their favorites. After she shut the door, she looked at him and grinned. "Here you go Saenz. Anything else you need, you know it'll appear here." She threw herself down onto the couch, and kicked off her shoes where a pair of slippers appeared. Sliding her feet in, she pulled her legs up under her on the couch to make her outfit of jeans and a navy sweater more enjoyable. "What would you like to do first?" Duhh. He would want to eat. But whatever works. |
Whoa! Emiliano had imagined just a few things, like the piano and maybe the food, because there was hot cocoa, just like the one made at his grandmother's house, sitting on the table, ready to be tasted, enjoyed. And food, lots of food. "What about...we eat first?" He suggested, offering a chair to Karma then as she sat down, he could take the one in front and start eating, and maybe have a long conversation with her, just like the many times they had been...alone. |
A snicker emerged from Karma's lips as she moved around on the couch to face him. She was laying on her stomach, propping herself up with her elbows and loved the reaction she got from him. Teehee. It was her special place, after all. And her house would have at least one room that looked like this, oh yes it would. "You know," she said. "I'm not really that hungry, but some hot cocoa or tea would be good for right now." Her eyes drifted over to the table to see all the food that she had thought of, and some of it she hadn't, so it must have been from Emiliano. Oooh, there were cookies and desserts... maybe she would have some of that. Except, she didn't want to get up, because the couch was so comfy. And she wouldn't let Emiliano get it. Gah, she was in a predicament here. |
Emiliano grinned, seeing as Karma just wasn't going to sit at the table. "Well, we are the ones who say the rules inside this room, and we absolutely don't have to eat at the table...So..." He prepared a tray with two big cups, then two teapots, one filled with hot cocoa, the other one with tea; along, it brought a plate full of sweets, desserts. Filled with sugar...eh. Em hoped that all those sweets didn't get right up to his head at some time.... As soon as he finished filling the tray, he took a big cushion seat and placed it next to the couch where Karma was sitting. "Help yourself..." Em said, offering the tray to Karma, "...tea or cocoa?" He asked her. |
Karma grinned back at Emiliano once he realized she wasn't going to move. She did move enough to let him sit down on the couch with her, so she flipped over so she was leaning against the arm. "Ahh, for starters, I'll take cocoa." Mmm, sweets. Except, she might get hyper enough and start bouncing around the room, but who knows. Maybe, maybe not. She would conjure a trampoline later if she felt like it. "So, after we eat." She picked up a mug and poured some of her own hot cocoa, then grabbed a cookie to go along with it. Taking a sniff of the cocoa, she smiled and sipped it, then felt a little bit warmer inside. "Anyway. After we're done snacking, what would you like to do first? Sing, play guitar... I have dibs on the piano, though." She pulled the blanket from off the couch and draped it across her legs, since she was a little chilly. At least the cocoa would warm her up soon. |
After a bite from a sweet bread and a sip of cocoa, Emiliano thought for a while on what to do after they were done eating. "Err...we could duet, piano and guitar. Then to waste the rest of the energy left from these sweets, we can think of...a soccer field, maybe and it could appear...I think." He was doubtful about this room. It was still a bit of a mystery to him as to what it really was. A defense, a room to have fun...a room to learn to have imagination. His mind was full of ideas on what to do inside that room. And he was still hungry, why...oh why???? |
As Emiliano was speaking, Karma looked over towards the French doors where the snow was piling up at. The window also revealed the ever tempting grounds also covered in snow, but how to get out there? Oh that's right, they couldn't. NOT FAIR. "Hmm." A soccer field? Surely not the whole thing... besides, it would be covered in snow. "I was thinking of an indoor trampoline later, maybe. To work off anything we eat in here that we don't work off when we duet." Ahh, that sheet music. There was plenty of it around, so Karma set down her cookie, keeping her cocoa in one hand, and then reached for a sheet. "Did you have a certain song, or songs, in mind?" If not, there could very well be a hidden one in here. That, or they could just slightly freestyle it as well. Who knows! |
Soccer, not a great idea now. Trampoline? Hehe, yeah. Time to feel like a toddler, a child again. And as he remembered those crazy moments of his life when pulling girls' hair was fun to do, he just nodded towards the idea. He liked it...though, he was regreting about the girls, of course. "Good idea...and nope, I don't have a song in mind right now, but if you do..." He wanted to listen to Karma suggest a song this time. As talking about their last time inside the Room of Requirement, he was the one who played, yeah...Classical music and some random song he couldn't remember anymore. Then...it came. Lucky...who was the guy and girl who sang it? |
It was quite ironic, that as Karma watched Emiliano think for a moment after she asked about a song, a few pieces of sheet music fell down from the ceiling. As they landed on the table, she saw that it was one set for the piano, the other for the guitar. Well of course it was perfect - and she looked at the song title. "Lucky". Jason Mraz was Karma's FAVORITE Muggle oldies musician! She practically jumped up from the couch as she looked at Emiliano. "Did you... Ohhh!" She grinned, and took a swig of her cocoa before placing it down on the table to grab the piano sheet music. "You knew I love Jason Mraz! And this song." She flung the blanket off of her legs, and drug her slippered feet along the floor over to the piano. Placing the sheet music on the piano stand, she flipped it over a few times to look to see if it had the words. She once had them memorized, but since Muggle music players didn't work here, it was hard to remember, sometimes. "Hmm. You'll obviously have to help me sing here, since I only remember the female part. I used to sit in my room and sing along with Colbie, acting as if I was dueting with Jason." .... Did she really just say that out loud? |
One little thought and it all comes like from Heaven... Emiliano thought as he watched the sheets fall down on the piano then being taken by Karma. Lucky!! He went to sit next to Karma, took the guitar just beside him and listened to her, commenting on how she liked to sing along with Jason. Ehem...one little memory. He liked to sing along the duets too...just don't tell anyone. He grinned at her and took her hand. "We all had those kind of moments, Atkins...don't worry..." He emphasized on the we, because of course, Karma had to know that she wasn't the only one crazy about music. "Shall we start?" He asked, fixing the guitar as it needed and ready to play along the piano. "And yes...I know all the song..." He commented, giving her a wide smile. |
Karma laughed as he mentioned that everyone had those kinds of moments, but when he emphasized the 'we' is when she looked over at him. "I know, I know. You're a music fiend yourself." And should sing more. Well, that was her opinion at least. The acoustic version of the song seemed very appealing to her, and it was saddening to know that she hadn't found a version of it yet. She played the first few lines of the piano, just to get used to it again. Karma hadn't played in a while, and she wanted to not be bad at it. She knew he started first, but it was alright. Her eyes drifted over to look at how he was holding the guitar, ready to play. She grinned, placing her hands on the piano keys. "Alright, I'm ready." |
Em smiled widely towards Karma's comment. He shrugged, not really going to protest, just then he started to play the song, note by note, careful on not to mess up on any piece, a string played by the pin. "Do you hear me, talking to you, across the water, across the deep blue ocean..." He started to sing along, followed the tune and actually enjoyed the song. He hoped his voice wasn't...sounding too bad. Anyone knew that after some shocking murky water drinks, you could lose your voice a bit more easly... |
The butterflies in Karma's stomach began to expand and move about more frequently as she listened to Emiliano sing. It was so amazing to her, that she had found someone who could actually sing. Unlike Kris, whose talents were limited to the applause of the shower curtain. She watched him sing, and smiled. Her lines were coming up soon, but not yet. And just in case one of them stumbled over the lines, a piece of parchment appeared in front of them with the words. Along with a glass of water. You know, just in case. |
"Under the open sky, oh my, baby I’m trying..." Emiliano ended his first three lines, still playing the guitar and waiting for Karma to reply and start playing the piano along. He was tapping his foot as the song continued inside his head. It was magical... Maybe it wasn't out this world that he could began something in arts, actually consider it in some years to come. Hmm.... He snickered as a piece of parchment along with water appeared out of nowhere, just like the music sheets had done a few minutes ago. |
Ahhh, he was almost done! But quick - she was a little nervous - what if she squeaked? She cleared her throat quietly, a crooked smile crossing her face once Emiliano finished his last line. Here goes nothing. "Boy I hear you, in my dreams. I feel your whisper across the sea," she sang, looking at the parchment. Then, skimming the next lines, she looked up at Emiliano, and straight in the eyes. "I keep you with me in my heart; you make it easier when life gets hard." Eeeee. Now it was their time to actually be able to duet together, and her time to start playing the piano. Once she was done singing, she pressed on the keys of the piano, and began to play the next lines of the song, and opened her mouth to sing with him through the next stanza. |
Had an angel spoken to him with that sweet voice? Eh, yeah. Em was a bit dilussional now. He was in some sort of enchantment, ready to just drool any minute. Something he was never going to show Karma, nope. At least not yet. Le enormous sigh. Time came. Duet phase! Eeek. He continued playing the notes, ready to get into the next strophe, anxious to sing along with Karma. Maybe he was just there, almost tittering, but he was having a great time singing an old tune that somehow meant something for them at the moment. "I’m lucky I’m in love with my best friend Lucky to have been where I have been Lucky to be coming home again Ooohh ooooh oooh oooh ooh ooh ooh ooh" And so it came...those almost-mumble words, yet making Emiliano think as he put his voice to sing them. |
