Peter laughed. "We certainly do," he said in response to Tammy, and smiled at the two girls who seemed to have become fast friends. He looked to Lo. "Alright, alright...the important thing is that I found you...finally," he laughed. He then turned to the Ravenclaw boy who had said it was nice to meet them. "Oh, I'm sorry. I don't think I've properly introduced myself, and I'm glad to see another boy here," he chuckled and offered his hand to shake. "Peter Botwin."

He couldn't help but smile and laugh even harder, she was just too cute to be angry with. "Well, I've been to the lake, the library, the corridor, basically all over trying to find you," he answered finally. He looked to Tammy. "Mmm yes you do look quite serious to me," he chuckled as Tammy flashed a corny grin at them.

"Ha. Ha," Lo replied, playfully glaring at Peter. She, too, stood up and began to follow Peter out to the Lake. "Yes, but then again it doesn't take much to amuse me," she said laughing.
It was true, she even found History of Magic amusing, which seemed to surprise everyone that learned this of her. She was like a toddler, in that if you gave her a block of wood she'd be the happiest girl in the world.

The took another bite of her apple. Natka was always so calming, always honest and the kind of person who'd rather die than hurt anyone's feelings. Such good qualities, Lizzie thought. So how do they seem to be getting along, I mean the two houses in general? she asked, thinking about the old rivals that Gryffindor and Slytherin had been. Maybe placing the two houses who dislike each other the most together wasn't the smartest idea.. she smiled. But of course it's nice to get to know new people.

Elizabeth needed to restock her stash. Her chocolate was almost gone, but that would take a trip to Hogsmeade. But the rest of her stash could, hopefully, be dealt with in the Great Hall. Stupid flood. Otherwise she'd just go to the kitchens.
As she stepped into the Hall, she looked down for a second when she realized her feet were cold. Granted, she was only wearing ballet slippers, and the weather outside wasn't exactly warm enough for them, but she hadn't planned on going outside. When she saw the water covering the floor, she sighed. Better get a good stash going. But she was definitely going to have to dry out her shoes again once she got back upstairs. Slogging through toward the Ravenclaw table, feeling her feet get wetter by the minute, she decided to make this as quick a trip as possible. When she got to the table, she climbed onto the bench on her knees, at least getting her feet out of the water for a little while, as she leaned forward to grab some apples and oranges. Slipping them into her school bag, she quickly cast "Impervius" on it, just in case, before she reached out again and took a couple pieces of toast. May as well eat something before she fled.

| The REAL Sorting Hat: "Ravenclaw!" This monkey is bananas.
Carrying the smallish looking parcel which held his homemade birthday cake in his hand William walked into the Great hall and stopped when he felt the water under his feet. Must be a leak he thought shrugging as he wandered up to his table and sat down putting the package down before him. Home-made chocolate chip cake with white frosting with blue ravens on it just how he liked it. Licking his lips he opened the package and took out the slightly large cake his eyes wide.
"Sweet!" he muttered grabbing a knife and slicing himself a slice before setting it on the plate. He didn't even care about the soaked shoes on his feet, his love for chocolate overcoming it.

He looked over to her and grinned "My birthday was last week and I just got the package she sent out. Want a slice?" He asked nodding to the cake. He wasn't that mean to eat it all when he could easily share with everyone.
He saw someone else sit down next to Elizabeth and grinned. "Cake?" He asked nodding to his cake. Elizabeth nodded as William returned her greeting, still a little mysitified as to how it seemed some people in the Hall were either ignoring the water or unable to feel it. But she smiled back as her second question was answered. "Well, happy late birthday, then," she wished him, before glancing at the cake. "Sure, I guess. It definitely looks good." She never turned down chocolate.
When she sensed someone sit down on her other side, she turned to see Mari. "Hi Mari," she said to her best friend, happy the other girl was talking to her outside of the dorms for once. It was weird feeling like she was being avoided half the time, even though she understood the reasoning. And when the water was brought up, she grinned. "It certainly looks that way. You notice I'm not letting my feet touch the ground?" Even though her shoes were already soaked. And she was still going to have to figure out how to get back out of the room soon.The spell she had cast on her bag wasn't very useful, not now that her feet were already wet.

Slicing off another slice he put it on a plate and handed it to her. "Thanks!" He said happily. "Here you go." He added grinning as he went back to his own sliced taking another bite of the goodness. He looked down at the water once more, shrugging as it slopped over his feet.Honestly it was just water and his shoes were filthy to begin with so in a way he was glad, they were getting cleaned finally. Well he could eat it all but then he'd be too hyper to function properly, climb the walls and sleep on the ceiling. That'd be cool he thought. Hearing the conversation of the water he pipped up, "I'm sure it's nothing, I mean if it was there'd be an announcement or something right?" wait, would there be an announcement? for all he knew the flooding that had traumatized everyone was over. He didn't want to think that the great hall would be flooded too.
