Jule was getting more tired by the second. She really needed to sleep or at least go to class where she'll have something to do. She turned to Vicky and smiled.

Thomas felt that his eyes were begging him to close but he tried to keep awake. "I wish there was an energy drink or coffee here," said Thomas laughing.

Jule laughed. "maybe we can make our own energy drink" she said to Thomas. Jule took out her wand and said a charm on a glass of water. She tasted it and spit it back out. "ugh. Sorry but it taste like dirty water!" she laughed.

Again she nodded as the boy confirmed his knowledge of Jenn. Although she had been slightly surprised initially, Mariel knew she really shouldn't be. Jenn was the friendliest person she knew.

Kel finished what he was going to eat of his dinner, then took a few sips from his goblet as Mariel talked to other people. Not wanting to intrude, he just looked around the hall - and he was just fine with doing that. This place was so...interesting!

Well, the study tables was a good idea. "I might have to check those out some time," he said, smiling a bit. He had a feeling that the students in Ravenclaw wouldn't make fun of him for needing a bit of help with schoolwork - they'd just want him to do the best he could, surely, to help them get the house cup. And, with so many brainiacs in one place, finding help couldn't be that hard.

Kel looked away at the look Mariel gave him before answering. Was that a stupid question? Oh. Before school...that made sense. Kel didn't realize that he was home schooled before eleven because, well, he'd been home schooled until fourteen. He nodded his head to show that he understood, then looked at the table.

Jenn looked over at the little boy and shrugged. "I don't know. Maybe he's in trouble. Or like us, he could be asking why the darn Headmaster isn't here." Shrugging, she yawned again, her eyes watering from her yawning so much.

Jenn laughed as Sarah made snoring sounds. It was sooo funny....especially this late at night. Jenn shrugged. She had no clue. It was like he had vanished. "I don't think he has been eaten. Maybe he just want's to make a entrance or something stupid like that."
Jenn looked up at the teachers. She could maybe go...but....she was slightly nervous. She didn't want to be the one that lost Ravenclaw points. "Um...sure...but I don't know if I should go. I might mess up or something like that."she said, smiling slightly.

"I tell ya I'm deeply shocked that a nice girl like you could do something like that!" Sarah tried hard to sound serious as she put her hand over her heart and spoke in reponse to Jenn's fained hurt.But she just couldn't do it.Breaking down in giggles,she gave her friend a playful nudge with her hand. "Just don't go trying it on me!"

Swimming in the lake? With that Giant Squid? Brave Jenn,very brave. "I must admit I've never tried that," she said,scratching her chin. "To be honest,and this may sound weird,I've never even learnt how to swim." Sarah put her head down slightly.It was something she was embarrassed about,something she really should know how to do.Whenever she tried,though,all that happened was she sank like a stone...very undignified.

"Yeah you're right.He does like to make an entrance,I just hope he does it soon!" Sarah was starting to lose the will to live,and there was only so much she could eat before she made herself ill.

Mariel glanced up at the Staff Table as the girls then discussed some boy sitting in front of the table. A little Huffie boy with... pink hair, she noticed as she squinted her eyes. As she watched with detatched curiosity, the third year noticed another young Huffie boy being placed next to the first, both apparently being reprimanded by Kazimeriz. Turning back to the girls discussing the situation, Mariel shrugged. "Looks like Professor Kazimeriz is sorting them out." Which meant, one - they did something to anger him, and two - she and her friends needed to mind their own business lest they feel the wrath of Kazimeriz themselves. "What's that around their necks?" she asked her group of friends as she tried to peer closer. Er, baby bibs?

The young Ravenclaw began picking at what was left of her food as she vaguely listened to her friends discuss the delayed Headmaster. Until Sarah voiced the thought of asking where he might be. Her eyes snapping up to Sarah, Mariel vehemently shook her head. "I wouldn't say anything unless you want to go the way of those two." Or lose House points! She gestured to the two boys on the dias. She was sure Kazimeriz would have a problem with someone talking out of turn and asking about the whereabouts of the Headmaster would probably be seen as disrespectful in his eyes. "I wouldn't be too worried about it. You know how Professor Bontecou is," she told the girls. "Always getting lost... Besides, don't you remember how late he was last year for the Welcoming feast? Everyone was finished eating so he barely even gave a speech before dismissing us." Yes, the girl was tired, but it would be a while before she was truly worried about the Headmaster. Besides, no one on staff seemed to have even noticed.

"Oh absolutely she should tryout!" Sarah nodded her head with as much enthusiasm as she could muster that late in the day. "It'll be fun for us all to do it."

Vindictus.Yes he could be particularly stern.Sarah remembered the scene from last term in the Hospital Wing when two students had taken it upon themselves to practice Quidditch.She wasn't sure which would have hurt them more...the injuries or the bellowing of Vindictus' voice in their ears.
Shrugging,she turned to Mariel. "Yeah it's best to stick to official practice...and in the summer of course! I just wish you could do it at my house,but the garden's too small and I think the neighbours may get suspicious if they saw a broom flying in the air!" She laughed at the thought of that. "Plus I think that's illegal anyway right? If there's no "of-age" witches/wizards around..." Sarah rubbed her temples trying to remember if Quidditch was covered by that law or not.In the end she just shrugged again and placed her head in her hands.God I am soooo tired!

"Krazy is there?!" Sarah looked up again as she heard Mariel's words.Oh boy,Jake had chosen the wrong teacher to get on the bad side of. "He scares me abit you know," she said,shuddering as distant memories of last year's finals came back to her.The Dementor had only been marginally more scary.
"Yeah maybe it's best if we all stay here,you know,sit it out.We can always fall asleep at the table if we need to." Shuddering again,she pulled her robes closer round her.

The last part of the sentence she said in her head.She didn't want him to know it angered her.Several times in their first two terms he had spoken to Mariel and acted as if the people around her weren't there.It wasn't as if she really wanted him to like her,no,just a hello or bit of recognition wouldn't go amiss.But Mariel liked him so Sarah was always pleasent.
Wait...fan club?!
Maybe he didn't realise when he was being rude."Urrgghhh." Sarah let the sound escape from her lips as she picked up a fork and started to stab at some leftover meat,listening as Mariel told him about the summer they'd had.

Linda looked at the food..roasted turkey,chicken sausages,grilled chicken..she thought she'd start with sausages..she ate two sausages and then some grilled chicken..She was feeling bored..she thought that after eating,she'd go to the dormitory and go through her textbooks..books and Amanda were her best friends..

After she had finished,she got up and smiled at Victoria..'Bye..am going to the dormitory..' she said

Natka was starting to feel seriously drowsy, and she hid a yawn behind her hand as she cast a glance at the staff table. Nope, she couldn't see the announcements coming anytime soon, and she was sure she wouldn't last too long now without falling asleep....

...and falling asleep in front of everyone at the opening feast really wasn't something she wanted to do.

"Sorry to interrupt, but do you have any idea when the announcements are going to be?" she asked a boy sitting nearby. "I'm Natka, by the way," she added after a moment, thinking that it might be rude if she didn't introduce herself.

And Natka hated rude.

isabella was so tired and full of the food that she ate, she couldnt eat anything more. she pushed her plate away and put her head on her hands and slept but little did she know that her hair was enjoying the tasty pudding that she couldnt eat any longer...
