"Oh! You did? Was it really painful? Or just so-so. I'm sorry...I'm so excited right now. I've never heard of a person healing anyone before!"she smiled.

"Well, the dude who hit my dad was big, I know that much. So the pain wasn't to bad, he just clipped my dad's shoulder." Divad said casually.

"My dad thinks I should become a healer, but I tell him I want to go into law enforcement. He just laughs and watches more T.V." Divad said, smiling.

She was worried that she has upset Jules now as well as Thomas, she needed her bed.

"It's okay. I've been asked that before. It started when my cousin, who was like my sister, died. I couldn't eat for 3 days and so i stayed like that. If i feel weird, nervous or mad, i wont eat." she explained.


"Aww. Don't worry. I'm not." she smiled at him and passed her fingers through his hair.

"I don't think you have, she's just tired like you. You'll be okay." Divad said encouragingly.

"Vicky feel like you've been offended." Divad informed her.

"That's good. I mean, it hurts to get hurt...even if it is your way, which is like you got hurt."she said, sighing. "I wish I was special. I mean, your girlfriend can lip read, you can heal, and I can do nothing. I'm so...plain."she sighed again, and grabed another truffle.

"Thanks Divad!" She just wanted her four poster bed when will this feast ever end.

"Trust me, you'll always be special to someone, depends on who you're talkin' to really." Divad offered these words of confidence.

"You didn't?!" Sarah snorted with laughter at Jenn's story.She couldn't imagine doing something like that,for a start she wouldn't have been able to get away quick enough and the victim most likely would have killed her.And she didn't have anyone to do it on anyway... "What colour?"

"The lake is my fave place too! I could lay on the grassy edge forever,shame we have work to do while we're here really!" Sarah let out a lazy yawn as she finished speaking,quickly covering her mouth so not to expose her tonsils to everyone. "I'd love to play with you and your brothers.We'd have to have Mariel and Lasca involved too,make it a proper mini match," she nodded vehemently in agreement.
"You know,I have no idea," Sarah looked back up at the Dais as she spoke. "He was at the Huffie table when I last saw him.Oh god I hope he's not been causing trouble!" She bit her bottom lip and tried to think what he could have done.Knowing Jake by reputation it could have been anything,or nothing.He didn't need to do much for a teacher to get mad at him...especially a certain one.Poor kid.

Sarah nodded again as Jenn put her hand on top of her's."Great!" One person down,just Lasca and Mariel left to agree.This felt funny,like some little club they were forming...only not.Just a friendship pact,a fun thing to do.

Sarah took her wand out of her pocket and looked down at her watch,tapping it to make sure it was working.It was nearly midnight and still no sign of the Headmaster.Putting her forehead down,so it was touching the table,she made fake snoring noises before giggling. "This is bad...very bad.Where the heck is he? It's getting so late.Not that I don't like talking to you guys,but you know....my bed is calling me! Wait....you don't think he's been eaten by the Giant Squid do you?!"
Then she had an idea. "Maybe someone should go and ask the Professors if they know what's going on....." Should she be the one to volunteer? Hufflepuff were already down 25 points and she didn't want to lose anymore,after all the teachers may not take kindly to being asked.Ooooh what to do!

"She hasn't." she said and smiled.

"That's good, I hope you get to feeling better." Divad said confidently. "I have to go." Divad said, giving Jule a peek on the cheek.

"Thanks. Oh alright. I'll see you later then." she smiled and waved good-bye.

Jenn smiled. "Aw. Thanks Divad. I'm hoping one day I'll have someone special...just that day hasn't come yet."she laughed. "Your very special. I mean, healing? That's just cool. Of coarse the side effects aren't fun, but hey!"she grinned.

"Don't sound shocked. It hurts how shocked you sound."she said, acting like she was hurt, but a smile was on her face as she watched her friend laugh. "Oh, it was green. It looked like they had fungus in their hair, since they have blonde hair."she smirked.

"Me too. I love swimming in the lake too. But, like you said, our whole point of being at Hogwarts is to learn....saddly."she winked. Jenn laughed, but then yawned as well, and that made her laugh even more. "Oh wow. I'm exhasted."she remarked, rubbing her eyes. "Oh yes. We have to have thoose two, just so we can show my brother's how well you play."
Jenn looked over at the little boy and shrugged. "I don't know. Maybe he's in trouble. Or like us, he could be asking why the darn Headmaster isn't here." Shrugging, she yawned again, her eyes watering from her yawning so much.

Jenn laughed as Sarah made snoring sounds. It was sooo funny....especially this late at night. Jenn shrugged. She had no clue. It was like he had vanished. "I don't think he has been eaten. Maybe he just want's to make a entrance or something stupid like that."
Jenn looked up at the teachers. She could maybe go...but....she was slightly nervous. She didn't want to be the one that lost Ravenclaw points. "Um...sure...but I don't know if I should go. I might mess up or something like that."she said, smiling slightly.

Ari jumped as her name was squealed, and she was enveloped by her neighbor. With one hand, she patted Dani's arms, with the other, she secured her glasses on her nose. She let her spout out her updates in an excited blur, "Good to see you, too, Dani," Ari smiled. After a moment, she gestured to her left, where the seventh year Ravencalw sat.

"Dani, this is Karma; Karma, this is my neighbor Dani."

Kel shrugged. He thought that manners were common sense, really. How hard was it to act civilized and treat females with respect, even when you thought females were crazy?

"I kinda hope so," he said, frowning again. He would surely feel like the hugest idiot ever if he was way behind everyone else in his year...he'd have to do extra work to keep up, definitely. Well, at least he could expect to be alright in History of Magic.

"You were home schoooled?" he asked, sort of surprised. As the topic turned to Jenn, he nodded. "Yep, I know her." he stated simply, shrugging again.

"Alrighty, then," he replied, nodding his head a couple times, just for the heck of it. He watched for a second as she death-glared at her hair, trying his hardest to hold back laughter. His shoulders shoulders shook, though, with silent after.

"You get the hard end, then?" he asked for the sake of argument. Looking thoughtful for a moment, he nodded as if approving the thought. "That's true." he consented, grinning down at his half-gone plate.

He couldn't help the grin that spread across his face at the question Jenn asked him. He couldn't blame her though, because, as he noticed, there really didn't seem to be any rules on staying at your own house table. And, since he was still wearing his genearic Hogwarts robes and not his Ravenclaw ones, it wasn't completely obvious that he was, indeed, a Ravenclaw.

"I'm a 'Claw," he comfirmed, nodding. He wasn't sure if he should scoot over and give Jenn room to sit by him (Why in the world would he think that?!) but she was still standing, so he didn't do anything.

Emiliano looked at Piper, a warm smile just for her. He felt...complete at the moment. Really happy, actually. He took a deep breath, then turned to face Piper again. And just because of an instict, he held her hand again. "We might never be ready. I mean, new teachers...new classes...new year." He told her, nodding his head slightly. "So, as an answer to your question, no...I'm not ready yet..." Emiliano said, letting out a chuckle.

"Merlin's lost pinky toe?" Mariel looked at Jenn blankly for a moment before the beginnings of a grin appeared at the corners of her mouth. "Never heard that one before." And it was kinda funny too.

The third year listened as Jenn started talking about Quidditch... but wait... "Whaddya mean you can cheer us on?" Mariel started in surprise before hearing Jenn say that she might try out too. "Well, you should try out. We'll have so much fun together on the pitch."

She nodded in agreement as Jenn and Sarah talked about making a point to get together by the lake for some catch-up time. It had really been too long since they'd seen Jenn and Mariel was not going to let them drift apart again. "Yeah, I'm pretty sure we're not allowed to practice at school outside of our team practices," she said, knowing Professor Vindictus was pretty strict about those kinds of things and she was not going to disappoint him this year by breaking any rules - at least not his rules. "But, yeah, we should definitely play at your house over the summer, Jenn."

Mariel glanced up at the Staff Table as the girls then discussed some boy sitting in front of the table. A little Huffie boy with... pink hair, she noticed as she squinted her eyes. As she watched with detatched curiosity, the third year noticed another young Huffie boy being placed next to the first, both apparently being reprimanded by Kazimeriz. Turning back to the girls discussing the situation, Mariel shrugged. "Looks like Professor Kazimeriz is sorting them out." Which meant, one - they did something to anger him, and two - she and her friends needed to mind their own business lest they feel the wrath of Kazimeriz themselves. "What's that around their necks?" she asked her group of friends as she tried to peer closer. Er, baby bibs?

The young Ravenclaw began picking at what was left of her food as she vaguely listened to her friends discuss the delayed Headmaster. Until Sarah voiced the thought of asking where he might be. Her eyes snapping up to Sarah, Mariel vehemently shook her head. "I wouldn't say anything unless you want to go the way of those two." Or lose House points! She gestured to the two boys on the dias. She was sure Kazimeriz would have a problem with someone talking out of turn and asking about the whereabouts of the Headmaster would probably be seen as disrespectful in his eyes. "I wouldn't be too worried about it. You know how Professor Bontecou is," she told the girls. "Always getting lost... Besides, don't you remember how late he was last year for the Welcoming feast? Everyone was finished eating so he barely even gave a speech before dismissing us." Yes, the girl was tired, but it would be a while before she was truly worried about the Headmaster. Besides, no one on staff seemed to have even noticed.

Mariel nodded happily. She was sure Keltan would do just fine in class as it sounded like he had adequate homeschooling. "Well, if you ever find yourself having any trouble with lessons, just let me know... or any Ravenclaw, for that matter," the third year told him. "We have some great study tables in the common room. And there's always someone hanging out there doing homework and willing to help."

Slightly surprised at the question, Mariel stared at Keltan for a moment before nodding slowly. Of course she was homeschooled, her parents certainly wouldn't send her to a Muggle school. "Well... yeah... until I was eleven I was homeschooled and then I came here," she said simply. That's what all young witches did, right? Except for Muggleborns like Sarah, she supposed.

Again she nodded as the boy confirmed his knowledge of Jenn. Although she had been slightly surprised initially, Mariel knew she really shouldn't be. Jenn was the friendliest person she knew.

Not being able to wait until the feast was over to talk to Mariel, Nathaniel made his way over to the Ravenclaw table to see her. He didn't know any of the many people that she was talking with and really didn't care. He hadn't seen her in what felt like forever and was sure that she wanted to talk to him. Mariel looked different than she did last term.He looked different as well.Well kinda. His hair was shaggy and black.Nothing too wild. Nathaniel put that thought in the back of his head."Hello Mariel." he said as he walked up behind her with a grin.

Stifling another yawn, Mariel nearly jumped, yet again, as someone spoke from behind her. Spinning in her seat, the Ravenclaw girl mirrored the grin on the face in front of her. "Hey, Nathaniel," she said brightly. "How've you been?" she added, trying to remember the last time she saw the Gryffindor. Sometime last term... although not as long as it had been since she had last seen Jenn. Was it when he was mad at her in the Magical Creatures nursery? She couldn't remember if she had seen him since then, but at least he didn't seem mad at her anymore.

Did he look a little taller? That was probable since it had been a while since they had last spoken and nearly everyone she knew grew a bit over the summer. Looking at him a bit appraisingly, she said, "So... did you want to sit down?" He was just kind of standing there... so she thought maybe he'd like to join them. Mariel looked around her briefly as she noticed the many people around her. "How about there?" she said, pointing to an empty seat across from her.

Dani grinned at her best friend before turning to see a new face. "Hi Karma. I'm Dani. I'm a first year." She turned back to Ari, "Don't you just love the food? It's so great."

"I've been okay." he said as he sat down across from her. "So.. is this your fan club?" he asked as he looked at all the people around her. How did a unpopular kid like himself ever get to hang around her? He sure he hoped he wouldn't be forgotten. Mariel was his only friend at Hogwarts since Freya had left school last year. How was your holiday?" he asked as he pushed his glasses up. His holiday hadn't been wanted he had wanted and had regretted asking her how hers was in front of all of these strangers. He knew that she was going to ask him the same thing. Maybe he'd only tell her bits and pieces until they were alone. Why hadn't they spoken over the summer he wondered. Blushing he realized that he had missed Mariel more than he though he had. He took a sip of pumpkin juice to hide his face so Mariel wouldn't see him blushing.

Natasha was pretty bored at her own table, so she had come over to the Ravenclaw table. She looked around, but she didn't recognize anyone here so she just came up to a boy. "Hey, do you mind If I sit here?" She asked him politely.

Giving Nathaniel a sleepy smile, Mariel watched as he took the seat across from her. "Uh... what?" she asked in complete confusion as she glanced at the people around her. Fan club? Sure, she was a decent Quidditch player, but she knew that she wasn't that good to have an actual fan club. Shrugging, she turned back to the boy in front of her. "Oh, my summer was great," she said, her smile growing slightly wider. And even though this was at least the 10th time today she told someone about her holiday, she still wasn't tired of talking about it. "I actually got to go to America with some of my friends for a few weeks." She knew Nathaniel would appreciate that having travelled there frequently himself. "How was your summer?" she asked, tilting her head as she curiously watched him drink from his goblet. He wasn't blushing, was he? she wondered as she watched him briefly. Nah, must be a trick of the lighting. What on earth could he be blushing about?

He saw Mariel looking at him and felt himself blush even more.He thought about making his hair longer so it would hide his face from view.Trying to change the subject "I saw you talking to all of these people. Ms.Popular." looking around the table. Mariel went to America. Awesome. Where in America did you go?" he asked. "My summer was...semi eventful." he said trying to avoid answering her question how he wanted to. His summer was crazy. He hardly traveled. What had really happened is that his parents had finally had even of each other and divorced. Him and his younger siblings had moved in with his grandparents. Which was okay with him. Meant he didn't have to deal with his parents fighting and his grandparents didn't live in the city so that was good for having loads of animals. "Anyways.. what was your favorite thing about America?".

Piper smiled up at Emiliano as he spoke and smiled, his warm smile having a peculiar affect on her. It was making her feel was as well, she felt as if she had been dipped in hot water, starting from the toes up. IT continued until she was sitting there, feeling.. well..And then he held her hand again. Ohh my.. Piper's fingers curled around his, and she smiled wider. She felt, complete, right here somehow.

She nodded, " That is true, It is kinda scary when you think about it, but.. I think we will do well. Do you think we will have any classes together?" She asked him softly.
