Jule walked into the Great Hall and awed. She had never imagined it to be so big. She took a seat nearest to the back and waited for her friends to come by.

Walking into the Great Hall, Liz smiles and takes it all in. Being one of the older students, she loves it!

Heading for the Ravenclaw table right away, she takes a seat waiting for everyone to come join her.

YES! RAVENCLAW! WHOO HOO!!!

Kel could've done a victory dance right then. He was so happy that he got Ravenclaw that he was surprised his face wasn't permanently stuck in an embarrassing, way-too-happy grin. But...that's what was on his face now, and he, honestly, didn't have a problem with it.

And...the place! Hogwarts! It was better than he imagined. His parents had, without a doubt, not explained it to it's full potential. This place was...wow.

Seeing a familiar face, Kel hurried over to Liz and sat down. "Ravenclaw!" he announced, grinning. He was so happy - his usual sour and unsocial demeanor was gone, and he felt like he could talk to everybody in the school and not get annoyed once.

...Big accomplishment, for this dude.

Karma skipped delightedly into the hall. Well, as much as she could at least. She had unfortunately been informed of some not so wonderful news on the train.

Part was her fault, but part wasn't. She couldn't help but feel that the whole thing was her fault. She would have to write to Kris as soon as she could.

Without thinking, she headed towards her usual spot and sat down, smiling.

Evangeline made her way through the huge doors of the Great Hall. Back at Beauxbatons, she had heard so much about Hogwarts. She looked around her surroundings and took it all in, looking up at the magical ceiling. She smiled to herself slightly and went over to the Ravenclaw and sat down, hoping it would be a nice experience, coming to Hogwarts.

Patting Kel on the back when he sat down by her, Liz smiles "We're glad to have you in our house!"

"I'm glad to be in your house!" Kel retorted, grinning. He really didn't know where the enthusiasm had some from all of the sudden...maybe it was because he felt somehow like he was disobeying his parents by not being in Slytherin...not that it was his choice, or anything, but it felt good nonetheless.

"So...Ravenclaw!" he exclaimed again. He felt like that explained it all, and he had no reason to say anything else. "I suppose I'll get my house robes when I go up to the dorm after the feast?" He asked curiously. Because at the moment, he was wearing just plain Hogwarts robes. "Or do I have to buy them?" he asked as an after thought, his grin fading momentarily.

Karma chuckled at the enthusiasm of the newcomer. Not a first year, but entertaining still.

"You'll get them at the dorm, don't fret."

"Hmmm, I'm not sure...I know my papa, sent mine as soon as he heard which house I was in. I guess I never really thought about it." she said with a thoughtful look on her face.

"I guess I assumed everyone did that, but I'm not sure..." now wishing that Livvy or Jenn were there, maybe they would know.

Smiling when Karma answered him. She mouths to her Thank you! "I guess there's your answer!" she says aloud.

"Karma, I'm not sure if you've met Kel. Kel this is Karma, Karma...Kel"

Lasca walked into the Great Hall, her smile as large as it had even been. She loved Hogwart's and was so happy to be back. Looking around she tried to see if anyone was here yet that she knew. It seemed that she had arrived early.

Shrugging, she sauntered over to the Ravenclaw table and took a seat. She wondered how Dani was liking the boat ride over. Nate and Lacey and Mariel had disappeared in the melee of students trying to get to the carriages. She wasn't sure how she had gotten up front but she had.

For now she would wait. Taking a cup that sat in front of her she filled it with water and took a drink.

Karma nodded and smiled toward Liz.

"Hello Liz," she said. "And hello to you too Kel. Oh and, you're welcome."

She leaned forward on the table, pausing to look around before turning back again.

"That's good to know," Kel said cheerfully, looking up at the roof - which he just realized looked like the sky outside...unless it was the sky...

"I need to read more books," he said, suddenly fretful. What kind of Ravvie was he? He never read! He'd have to get smart...or they'll kick him out of the house, for sure.

"Hey Karma," he added quickly, before he got too worried and his not-caring-if-he-was-talking-to-girls mood vanished. "Um, I'm Kel. But you already knew that. So my greeting's been completely messed up...oh well! You like Ravenclaw?" He was vaguely aware that his sudden mood change might be kind of odd for someone like Liz - who had seen him in his no-girls mood - to see, but he didn't pay too much attention to that thought.

"That roof - it is a roof, right?" he asked randomly, looking back up at the starry sky-roof thingamajig.

Thankful that the train had finally arrived at school, Mariel hurried off and bounded over to the Ravenclaw table once inside the Great Hall. She was even a little excited for the sorting, feeling an abundance of House pride and wondering who the new Ravenclaws would be. Maybe that new girl, Dani, that she met on the train would get sorted into her great House.

Sliding into the seat next to Lasca, she first grinned at her friend, then noticed Liz sitting across from her. "Hey, Liz... and Keltan!" Mariel exclaimed in surprise upon finally noticing the boy sitting next to the older girl at their table. "So, you got sorted into Ravenclaw? Awesome!" Because any Claw would feel that way about being sorted into the best House ever.

RAVENCLAW! Did she hear that right? Was she dreaming?

Satine was very excited to be in Ravenclaw, the same house as her mother. She turned to head towards the table and the cheering members of her new house!

As she looked over her shoulder, she watched her three new friends be sorted into Slytherin. "Great," she thought, "that means that I don't know anyone in Ravenclaw." On the surface though, she kept her excitement up...this was the house she had wanted anyways and you can always have friends in other houses...right?

Not fretting on that thought, she skipped to her housemates and leaned over to give them low fives as she ran down the table to have a seat with a few of the other first years. She couldn't wait to send an owl home to her mother who would be so proud of her.

"I got sorted into Ravenclaw!" Kel repeated, sounding proud. Schyea, it was awesome! He had to go write to his parents right away!...haha, yeah right. But...he didn't want to think about his parents at a time like this, unless it was imagining their faces when they found out what house their only son had been put in.

"Which is a good thing, too. Because I know about a million Ravenclaw, and only one Slytherin. I need more friends." Aaaaaaaaand...that was a big thing for him to say, too. Because he hated to admit things like that. Calm down, dude, he told himself, shaking his head. But he couldn't. He was seriously really happy.

Jule looked over ans saw a girl put a sad face when her friends were sorted into Slytherin. She decided to go over and greet her. "Hi. I'm Juliette/" she smiled.

First new day of school in Hogwarts. Awesome...

Emiliano would be wearing his usual, very bright smile. But he just felt...terrible. He was sort of hurting Piper and Karma at the same time. He just tried to sort his thoughts...confused they were.

He sat on the house table then waited for the speech from the Headmaster to come up.

Vynnie was overwhelmed with excitement when she looked at the Ravenclaw table following the sorting. She was going to make so many new friends! She looked up and down at her new housemates and decided to take a seat next to a nice looking first year. What was her name again?

"Exciting, isn't it?" Vynnie asked the girl as she sat down. "Satine, right?" She added, smiling.

"Howzit! I'm Satine!" She shook the girls' hands...maybe a little too much from all of the excitement. As she shook her hand, she saw her own reflection in one of the goblets. Her hair was a neon pink shade...it must have turned that color as soon as she was sorted into Ravenclaw with all of the excitement.

Satine smiled and slowly turned her hair back to deep purple. "How exciting that we are in the best house....the house of the smartest and best looking, from what my mom brags about...I have always wanted to be a Ravvie! Where you expecting Ravenclaw?"

"ahhh. You're one of those rare people that start with an M. Sorry I can't remember the name. I'm one of them too but just my eyes change color. It's nice to meet you." smlied Jule.

"Well, my parents were both Ravvies, although my older brother was a Gryffindor... But I was definitely hoping to be sorted into Ravenclaw. And I was! And I'm terribly excited for the school year."

"My eyes change colors too. I can do it on purpose, but sometimes when I get emotional, or angry, or nervous, or embarrassed, or something like that they just change on their own. I'm working on it. I can make other things change like my lips and such but I'm so afraid that they'll get stuck that way and how weird would I look with huge lips." She laughed at the thought of that image.

"It's great to meet you also! I'm starving! I'm hoping we get seafood! What do you think the Headmaster will talk about?" Satine could tell she was talking entirely too much so she left all of her questions there.

Satine looked over and saw a familiar face from the Food Trolley. Trying not to interrupt any conversations, she waiting for a brief break and then said quickly.

"Kel, what a small world! We were both sorted into Ravenclaw! How excited! Welcome to be a Ravvie! We'll have to catch up later" She smiled and then turned back to her conversation with the other first years and let Kel return to his.

She could tell this was a great start to the year for both of them.

Lasca grinned as her best friend came and sat next to her. "Hey, what took you so long?" Mariel hadn't been too far behind then. Her leg started bobbing and she found her eyes leapt to the door at every opportunity. Sighing heavily she rested her head in her hand and began drumming her fingers on the tabletop.

Jule laughed. "Same here except it's just my eyes. I can also change them to animal eyes and can use them to see the future of through walls and stuff like that. I'm still practicing though."
