Chyeah right. "Really?" Jake asked, distinctly uninterested. "That's nice," he nodded, keeping his eyes on the dog in front of him. It would take a leeeeeeettle more than that. Honestly, as if it would be that easy. Looking around him, Jake eyed the bookshelves and debated going over to have a look, wondering if there was anything there on wandlore. |

After a few silent moments, Iliana looked back up at William and said, "We're still a great deal away from the castle. Hopefully we'll be safe here. But I think I'll double my visits to the nursery from now on, just to be sure." She took a deep breath and added, "Please come tell me right away if you see anything out of the ordinary in there. Even a small puddle. We can't be too careful." |

Grrrrr. The question about Dani didn't strike him as odd, as many people knew Jake was friends with Clark and her. "Dani's a Ravenclaw," he shrugged, going back to watching the puppy. "She's my friend." |

Glancing up at her he gave a soft smile as she spoke, nodding his head in agreement. "I hope so too, but I heard this was like magical non-stopping water..." he trailed off his eyes brightening a bit at her next statement. "I can help out if needed professor. Make sure the creatures are comfortable and at ease." He knew that magical creatures felt oncoming danger more than people did, especially Muggle dogs. something about their sensitive hearing he thought. "I'll do that Professor." he said in a calm voice. |
"I have been good." Naomi said petting the dog. "I wanted to ask you if anything new has come about with the flooding." |

"Oh no, Marmalade is fine. In fact she doing great. I was so pleased she remembered me right away when I came back from summer break. I want to thank you for taking such good care of her. I also want to talk to you about me riding her sometime. I saw Copernicus Kettleburn, Celadine Tousant, and you riding last term. I wanted to join you'll but, to be honest, I didn't now how to ride. My grandfather's riding instructor taught me over the summer." |
Alessia came to Illiana's hut with a trunk and her box of potions and knocked. "Ili!" She called out to her new "roomie." |
So sorry for the delay. iFail! Quote:

Ohhhhhh he was so sweet! Upon hearing his offer to help, Iliana wiped at her eyes and stood up; hugging William tightly. "Thank you, thank you!" She said, before she realized that she had flung herself at her student. She quickly released her hold, blushing fiercely. "Umm sorry about that William. I'm just really grateful for your help." She said softly. Quote:

How had he met her? Meh. "Just saw her around is all, why?" he shrugged before asking, swinging his feet back and forth. And... wait... what? FLAILFLAIL! Why was Professor Lupa geting a big ole SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE welcome. She was stealing Professor Morgan from him. :( |
"Ili!" she said excitedly and with a wave of her wand set up her coffee set on one side of the hut and a plate for cakes and cookies courtesy of the elves on the other side. "We need to chat... tonight, we'll have a fun sleepover, I have all sorts of Madame Primpernelle goodies!" She said and then saw the four students in her hut... "Oh... Hi!" |

Abby turns around and sees Professor Lupa come in. It looks like she moving in or something like that. "Hello Professor Lupa. It's nice to see you." |
Varius moved from the Care of Magical Creatures/Ancient Runes class, across the grounds and to the hut of Professor Morgan, which was apparently being housed by Professor Lupa now too. Had the Ancient Runes classes flooded as well? Wouldn't surprise him! Anyway, he was here because he was instructed to by Professor Lupa and he was unsure what he had done. But he would soon find out, and that was when he knocked on the door and waited to be gained admittance. |

"Oh just asking I suppose." She said with an innocent smile. Quote:

He walked into the office as Professor Morgan invited him to do so. "Thank you Professor Morgan," he said kindly turning his attention of Professor Lupa who was ready for him. He followed the Runes Professor over to her desk, taking a seat and watching as she uttered some enchantment Varius was unaware of, but didn't concern himself with since it had no obvious effects likely to bother him. "Hello Professor Lupa. You wanted to see me?" |
"Yes Master Tipps, I did." She said steepling her fingers together. "Do you enjoy my class? It isn't a requirement to take, but you seem to come and I do so hope I make it enjoyable to learn..." She gave him her wolfish smile. |

Oh? She wanted to chat. That was nice. Easing more comfortably in his chair, Varius returned her smile. "I enjoy your class very much so Professor Lupa, otherwise I don't think I would be in it very often. I can't say it is my best, nor can I say i'm exceedingly good at it, but I do try. "Oh and kudos for the merger class. It was very exciting, albeit slightly terrifying. That Auroch thing... well, it really could have eaten Professor Morgan if it really wanted to... you know, if it decided it didn't feel in the mood for that special herb stuff. Her bravery is impressive." |

"Fair enough," Jake responded to the next statement, before unexpectedly standing up. "I should go," he added, running a hand through his pink hair and staring round at the others, before eyeing the door. |

Deciding it was best to trust him, the professor walked over to snatch up the puppy from her desk and said, "Alright Jake. But remember... you can come back here anytime." She said rather sadly, holding the puppy close. |
"Pretty sure," Jake nodded firmly, avoiding eye contact this time for certain. His head was telling him that the best place for him to be was here... what else could he do anyway? Even if this was NOT his favourite place to be, which it was, Jake had nothing else to do, nowhere else to go. Looking at the puppy rather than the professor as he spoke, Jake nodded slowly. "Sure," he mumbled, heading straight to the door and out of it wthout turning back. |

Besides the simple fact that he enjoyed her class, the poor boy had been terrified by the mean, nasty, smelly Auroch! "You do just fine, Master Tipps..." she answered him... "It is your... lightheartedness that concerned me in class today. I felt as if you weren't taking my class seriously. I do not like being disrespected and, at the time, that's how I felt." Now she felt she owed him an apology... "I should have reassured you that aurochs are not carnivores, but herbivores and that Professor Morgan assured me that Thor, large as he was... is just a baby." She smiled and summoned over the now whistling pot of coffee, along with the tray. Two demitasse cups were on the tray and sugar cubes. "And rest assured our Professor Morgan may seem frail, however she's a powerful witch and knows how to handle magical beasts..." And if she didn't believe that, Less would have never agreed to a joint lesson. She placed five sugar cubes into the tiny cup and then poured the hot espresso over it. "Coffee?" She asked the boy. |
Some time later, little Beezley rolled over in her makeshift bed and opened her eyes. At first, she was a bit startled, for she was in a strange, strange place surrounded by studenties and her masters. Her eyes widened in fear for just a second, until she remembered that her kitchens were now long, long gone. Letting out a little elfish yawn, Beezley pushed herself up out the bed and smoothed out her little clothes. "Beezley make little bed," she said aloud, speaking to one in particular as she smoothed the little covers she'd slept under. When she was finished, she turned to both her masters. "Beezley thanks you, but Beezley must go now. Beezley is needed somewhere else," she said. With a toothless, yet appreciate, grin, she raised her hand high in the air, snapped her fingers, then apparated right on out the hut. |
Varius assured her, "If that is how I came across, I assure you that was not how intended it, but it isn't your fault, I can sometimes come across in ways I do not realise. I very well may have been disrespectful, but I do ensure I answer any questions most seriously and do not attempt to make a mockery out of your or Professor Morgan's subject." "Coffee would be lovely," he accepted, smiling. He was pleased that the Professor didn't see it as if he was being purposefully obnoxious and it was just a fault in his personality. |
