Lucy looks around towards the elves as she hears one of them...uh...letting it out. "Tinka? Is that another one of the house elf?" Lucy asked taking her wand out and pointing it at the contents of the bucket. "Evanesco." She turns to Beezley and asks, "How are you feeling Beezley?" |

Lucy looked up towards the professor and smiled. "Thanks. Hmm...maybe I could heal creatures when I'm older. It seems pretty fun." She stood up and smiled even more. "Any advice for me?" She asked. Lucy could tell that she would get wonderful advice, especially from the Care of Magical Creatures teacher. |
Argyle looks around for Tinka for a moment, and then retches again. Another bucket full of lake water comes up. "Sorry Mistress Morgan. Argyle is being such a problem..." Then Argyle starts the routine all over again. |

Argyle looks up at the young Slytherin. "Thank you for being so kind to Argyle. "If I ever have a kitchen again, Argyle will bake you some nice chocolate chip cookies." Argyle is sad to think about Hogwarts kitchen being under water. What will the house elves do now? How will they feed the children and staff without a kitchen. |

Lucy nodded her head as she listened to the professor talk about what she should try to do. 'A reservation. That sounds pretty interesting.' She thought as Morgan looked at the bird behind her. She looked down at Argyle as he talked. "What are we going to do about the food now? We can't use the kitchen and the house elves are certainly not in stage of making us food." |
Okay so the timeline's gone wonky but let us just pretend, shall we? :) Quote:
... "Now then..." She said standing by the door. "Come on in, Jake." She said, ushering him out of the cold. "I know you said that you didn't want tea but you need to eat something. You're looking a little peaked." She turned back towards the window and said, "Lucy, can I get you anything, my dear?" |

Beezley would usually be the one to refuse such a bed, but Beezley wasn't feeling well, and she needed that little bed. With a little elfish yawn, she curtsied out of thanks and then headed over to her little bed. By the time she was done curling up, she was the size of a little quaffle all curled up under the blanket. "Beezley loves Mistress. Beezley sleep now, though," she said. Quote:
...and that was all the little elf said before her eyes closed and she drifted off to sleep. Hopefully...and just maybe...she'd have happy dreams about spatulas, trays, and chocolate chip cookies. |
William hesitated just in front of the door to professor Morgans hut. What if she was too bust for him to ask his question he thought pondering the mysteries within his poor addled brain. Shrugging off his trepidations he stood tall squaring his shoulders as he raised on hand and gently knocked on the door a few times before stepping back and putting his hands behind his back. |
Lucy nodded her head, thinking that having the Three Broomsticks as there kitchen was a good idea. She looked at Beezley and brought out the phial Professor Morgan had given her. "Here Beezley, take this before you fall asleep." She said holding the phial out. She stood up from her seat on the floor next to the house elves and walked over to the door. "I think I'll get going now. I've got homework and studying to do for O.W.Ls" She said playfully rolling her eyes and smiling. "But I'll come back later to see how the elves are doing maybe." She said opening the door. "Bye." She said cheerfully, closing the door behind her. Lucy sighed and smiled to herself as she began walking up the pathway. All and all, the visit had gone pretty well in her opinion. She reached the castle and went inside ready to start the never ending pile of homework. |
Naomi walked up to Professor Morgan's door and knocked. She had wanted to talk to Professor Morgan about some stuff but there was a very strange site she had seen walking there and she was curious about what was going on. |

Argyle throws up again and then puts his head back down on the pillow. Argyle is really feeling weak right now. Argyle then hears Mistress Morgan talking about the house elves being able to work in the Three Broomsticks kitchen. "Is it true Mistress Morgan. Argyle will have a kitchen to work in soon. Argyle loves to work." Argyle dozes off. |

Right! Glancing down, now uninterestedly, at the creature, Jake then looked up at the girl... the girl he'd seen around. Like, everywhere. She was talking... to him, right? She would hardly address the dog like that, unless she wanted an answer like YIPYIPYIPGRAOOORRRWWWLL... Still, Jake wasn't exactly in the mooooood to be all friendly. Even if the girl had put the dog's lead back on, you know, in case the little thing POUNCED! But Jake, being Jake, let his gaze linger on the girl before turning back to the rest of the room, scoling a tad. Yes... that had not put him in the best of moods. But then... this was Jake. |

Oooooh, Professor Morgan brought the puppy over. "Why was he barking at me?" Jake asked, holding his hand out with the palm facing up and thus allowing the dog to familiarise himself with Jake's scent. That was something Jake's mum's friend, Bernard (:shifty:) had always taught him to do when meeting dogs. Still looking up, Jake watched the li'l puppy with an eager expression, hoping he wasn't about to get bitten. |
Aww! How sweet was that? Jake was worried about them. "They are going to be just fine." The professor said, with a nod of her head. "After all, this is what I was trained to do, right?" She smirked at Jake and stroked the puppy's coat. She looked down. He surely wasn't barking now, she noticed, watching his little tail wag. "Maybe he was just excited to see you." She replied, as he licked Jake's hand. "Or... maybe he's hungry." She sat him on her desk right in front of Jake and removed the lead. "If you open the middle desk drawer you'll find all kinds of goodies in there for him. Would you mind giving him some food? There's a little food dish under my desk." If nothing else, she was prepared. She had certainly stocked up over the summer. Truth be told, she had been hoping that the dog would have been here sooner. Maybe even accompanied by his owner. She sighed. Well, things change. And that's just how it is sometimes. |
"Right," Jake nodded vaguely, glancing over to the elves again. He let his gaze linger on them for a second, but he started feeling his head tilt, usually a sign that he was staring. Not that he was bothered, but his dad tried to impress on him that it was rude to stare. Bleh. Eeeee! Puppy spit! Ick! What if it had been eating? Then Jake would have dog food over his hand... but apparently he was safe... well, kind of. Jake was supposed to feed the dog... which meant touching the dog's dish, which would touch dog food. Shudder. It was a good job Jakers like animals... though if he was at home, he'd have just made someone else do this job. "Errr... okay," he nodded, scratching the ickle puppy's head before leaning over the arm of Professor Morgan's chair and down to the floor to get the dish. Ew. Ew. Ew. Ew. Ew. Apparently, Unnamed Puppy knew what this meant, and was watching Jake intently... though not going crazy like some dogs did. This one had composure. Oh yes, definitely Truebridge's pupsicle. Opening the middle desk drawer, Jake saw that Professor Morgan did, indeed, have many fun things for the pup, and after a little searching, Jake found one of them hide bones and some foooooods, which he put into the dish and pushed towards the puppy, letting him eat in peace before he tried to start playing. |
"Your welcome, professor. I guess I should come another time to talk to you about Marmalade. I didn't know you would be so busy." Abby guesses it alright to leave Professor Truebridge's dog here. Professor Morgan seems better prepared to take care of the dog tha Professor Truebridge is. Abby will need to let him know she left the dog here though. |
Naomi walked into Professor Morgan's hut, "Hello Professor." Naomi said. "Can I pet your dog? I love dogs." Naomi sat down in a chair near Professor Morgan. "I haven't seen you in awhile and wanted to talk to you." |
William walked in when he heard professor Morgans voice with a smile and a tip of his head. he would have taken off his hat - but it was still missing. then he remembered why he was there and his nerves spoke volumes as he shuffled his feet. sigh. Blue eyes shone brightly as he stood there, noticing the house-elfs. He wasn't shocked, if he had been kicked out of his home he'd go to a place that knew how to care for him too. But that wasn't the case here and so Will just smiled a bit sadly before addressing the professor. "Hello Professor Morgan. I have a worry but it's probably nothing. Or I hope not anyway. I mean it's nothing huge but it could become huge you know?" he practically stuttered in his sudden nervousness. |
