Come up to the door of Professor Dumont’s office and knock, the professor is usually in and is happy to talk to you about whatever you may have in mind, especially if it involves muggle studies.

As you walk through the door of Professor Dumont’s office, you are struck by the fact that at least part of this room appears not to be that magical at all, but looking rather like an office you might see on muggle television (had you ever had the chance to see muggle television, that is!) The main feature of the room is a very large wood desk with a nice comfortable chair behind it, a purple, cushiony chair. There are a couple chairs in front of the desk, which appears as though it may be oak, both these chairs are a dark green velvet, padded, and appear very comfortable as well. The rug on the floor is a forest green color, imprinted with a variety of flowers in many different colors, it is very relaxing and lovely, one of the prettiest rugs you could ever find. Professor Dumont inherited this rug from his family, it is an heirloom.

On the right hand wall you notice many photos calling to mind muggle entertainers. There are photos of various muggle rock bands from the ‘60’s and ‘70’s including the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, the Who, Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin (it turns out that Professor Dumont loves this type of music). There are pictures of Elvis Presley as well, along with such muggle icons as Marilyn Monroe and James Dean, Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bing Crosby, Perry Como, and many others.

On.the wall immediately behind the desk are some photos that are obviously personal. There are pictures of a very old castle with high pirouetting towers, this is Castle Dumont, Antonio’s family home. You gather that it is located somewhere in France, and you would be correct. You will also find many of the pictures that move and talk, wizarding pictures, there is a man and a woman in their 50’s, Professor Dumont’s parents. There is a new picture added this year, one which has a special place right over the Professor's desk. This picture is of a very pretty little girl, no more than 2 years old, with curly dark hair and a somewhat familiar look about her. You would be guessing correctly if you guessed that this is a picture of Professor Dumont's daughter, Antonia Michelle, who he has just become reunited with during the term break. But that's a whole other story, one you may or may not be lucky enough to hear (probably not!)

Along the left wall there is a long table which goes the length of the room. On this table are many muggle items to look at and perhaps even play with, including computers, video monitors that might even pick up muggle television (who knows?), video game systems, cell phones, iPods, skateboards, yoyos, Playdough, Legos, various board games, and a huge variety of books on all subjects. Your eyes fall on this table longingly, perhaps you might have the chance to play with some of these items yourself if you are very good some time, you never know!

"Yes, there are a lot of things I would have liked to have seen happen, too," Antonio said. "It's a shame that no one can be there to see everything, but then it might not be so special if that were the case. And yes, I believe that sums baseball up pretty well. And speaking of those computer games, yes, I have played on those many times. The muggles made all sorts of awesome computer games, Guitar Hero World Tour being one of my favorites. What about you, Sarah?"

Sarah looked at the Professor. "I would have to say that there are quite a few games I like but my favorate would have to be the Yu-gi-oh series." She smiled. "I just love the graphic on them, it takes ages to get them done, it's like with the simpson it takes 8 months to do an episode, I couldn't believe it when I found out." She giggled. "What do you think?"

"A lot of work goes into some of those graphics that are out there, it's true," Antonio agreed. "That's why I was amazed when I found out about that myself. There is so much detail involved, you really have to have a lot of time and patience for that. I'm glad you appreciate the time and work that went into it, so few people notice that kind of thing."

The water began seeping through the floorboards and into the professor's office.

Antonio noticed his worst fear beginning to come true as he saw a bit of water seeping into the office. "I think we need to get out of here now," he said, glad there were no other students around. "We better go some place higher up." How he was going to teach his final lesson and get through this term was beyond him, if things kept up there would be no Hogwarts and they would have to find a new school.

What on earth was happening?

"Come on," Antonio said, grabbing Sarah's hand. "We can't stay here any longer."

Sarah looked at the Professor and was about to say something when water came. "Professor what is going on?" She asked as she saw the water coming into the Professor's office. Then the Professor grabbed her hand but she let go she was looking around the room at the stuff in his office.

"Professor water and electricity doesn't mix." She said as she pointed to some of the stuff in the room. "Is it going to be safe to leave these things?" She looked scared, she hoped that the Professor would know what to do. She was realy worried.

"Well, I guess they're all going to be destroyed, that's all," Antonio said. "I can put a spell on them so no one will ever be able to plug them in or use them again, there isn't going to be much use left for them after this anyway, I'm afraid."

Antonio had a sad look on his face as he pulled out his wand and performed the spell that would render all his electronic devices useless. Fortunately, he had a source to get more of them later on if need be, who would have ever expected there would be flooding at Hogwarts? Certainly not this high up, anyway, it was crazy, there were three floors under this level at least.

"Now, let's get out of here fast," Antonio said. He had seen the way the water had risen on other levels and he knew they didn't have much time. "Come on, Sarah, don't argue with me."

Sarah looked as the Professor used a spell and saw the look on the Professor's face. "Don't worry Professor." She smiled as she looked around the room for one last time. "This is kind of like the Titanic, though we are in a castle and they were on the boat." She said sadly. "And this water seemed to be following me around, everwhere I go the water seems to want to go." She said as she kicked the water. "It's stupid."

She was about to argue and say that she was fed up with running from water when she saw the look on the Professor's face. "Okay, Professor, but where can we go?" She asked, she was very frightened about the floods and knew if she didn't get out soon she wouldn't be able to move. She grabbed the Professors hand and said. "I can't remember where the corridor stairs are can you?"

"They're out this way, down the corridor a ways," Antonio said, gesturing toward the path of escape. "I think we should try to get as high as we can, maybe to the 7th floor. I don't think the water will rise that high." Antonio didn't know what to expect now, but he didn't want to say that. He certainly had never imagined a world where Hogwarts would be flooding with water. Was the castle that old, that susceptible to water retention? It truly didn't make sense. Antonio wondered for the first time if there were some sort of foul play involved by some sinister force. It was always a possibility. For the first four floors of the castle to be flooded was just a mathematical impossibility without some kind of interference from a force other than nature itself. But why?

"Let's get to higher ground," he said, sensing that Sarah feared the water and wanting to get her out of there safely. The students were his responsibility and their safety came first. With a shudder he remembered the scene on the Ground Floor when several students had nearly drowned, as well as Professor Lawson. That had been scary, and Antonio didn't wish to see a repeat of that any time soon.

The power of the water becomes evident as the sound of it starts to get louder and it begins to churn upward, but oddly, it stops at the castle windows, even open ones, and does not spill a drop outside of the castle.

"This is our last chance," Antonio said forcefully, grabbing Sarah's hand once again. "Just hang on and I'll get you out of here."

With a sad farewell to his beloved toys, Antonio began to head towards the stairs, holding on to Sarah's hand all the while. If he had to drag her to safety he would. There was no time for questions, the water was rising fast.

Sarah realised that the water wasn't going to stop. "Professor, I'm scared." She said as she held on to his hand as he started to leave the room and he took her with him. "Professor, I'm glad you can remember the way." She cried, then she saw that the water was upto her hips. "I think you are right Professor we should go." She cried as she was very scared and wet, then she realised something. "Professor, what is going on here?" She asked as she realised the water wasn't going through the open window. She said that whilest they were moving.

"Sarah, I wish I knew," Antonio said. He was walking rather rapidly, not wanting to stop for fear the water would suddenly start pouring in and overcome them. He wasn't a great swimmer and there was no reason to put either one of them in danger.

The water fiercely rose to shoulder level and the sound of the rush was deafening. In the water potion vials and corks were floating in it. A GO SNAKES banner floated by, followed by a fancy green compact with the initials P.G. on it, and a Yellow notebook with a badger on the front.

The water was rushing harder and more things were showing up in the water. A piece of parchment was floating in the water... It said:
