Owlery Detention Check In The dungeons are temporarily unable to be inhabited, so you will serve your detention, here. In the Owlery. All the owls have been moved to a different locations, so the staff can have the troublemakers all to themselves. You approach a stand situated in front of several arches and can hear strange noises coming from behind them. Suddenly, there is an ear-piercing scream and the staff member behind you smiles, warmly. Welcome to Detention! Here is where students come to be punished. Please post your arrival in this thread and you will be assigned a detention hall. Once you have been assigned a detention hall, post your arrival in that detention hall thread and a staff member will be there to instruct you, momentarily. Please keep in mind the following, special, rules for detention: Quote:

Clark shook his ears out and water poured. That was odd, he thought. The dungeons had suddenly filled with water, rendering him unable to keep dancing which was the saddest part of all. He streched his arm out and then continued his revue. "Do, a deer, a FEMALE deer, RE! a drop of golden sun...." |
Irial Darkk, Aries Darkk, and the school nurse Portkeyed into the Owlery, completely and utterly soaking wet. Coughing up some water, and disoriented from the ride, Irial sat up from his seat on the floor, looking around. He was a bit dizzy, but when he regained his composure, he looked around. Aries was laying on the ground next to him, stirring. The ride must have woken him up. Good. He wasn't in a coma or anything like that. But the nurse was nowhere to be found. Hmm. Where'd she go? Did she land in another part of the Owlery? He wasn't sure how Portkeys worked. Oh well. He crawled over to his brother, since he wasn't too far away. "Aries," he muttered, shaking him fully awake. "They moved us to the Owlery. Man, wake up!" |
Aries started to stir the moment the portkey transported them from the dungeon to the owlery, feeling the slight pulling sensation. He groaned, his head pounding. "What happen?" he asked, after being shook by his brother. His eyes taking a moment before they adjusted to the light, which didn't help with his headache. "How did we get here? My head is killing me." |

Pushing open the door the new check in, he pulled out his wand and pointed it at his detentionee, muttering a "silencio" and taking away his voice. He didn't have patience to try to speak to someone who kept breaking out into showtunes. "Drink this," he said, tossing the boy a bottle of Pepper-up potion that he'd gotten from the Healer. "It'll warm you right up," he nodded, before taking a seat in a chair across the room and taking a look at the sign in book. |

Silencio. NOOOO!!! Clark coughed, his only form of sound and grabbed the bottle, suddenly realizing how cold and sopping wet he was. He took the stopper out (with some force. He wasn't the strongest boy in the world. Or the school. Or Ravenclaw. Or his year. Or....forget it.) He chugged the bottle down and smiled weakly, sensation returning to his body. He shook some of the remaining water out of his GORGEOUS black hair and started singing-in his head, at least. I'm gonna wash that man right out of my hair, I'm gonna wash that man right out of my hair, I'm gonna wash that man right out of my hair, And send him on his WAYYYY!!! |
The huge, fierce qilin patronus of Professor Kazimeriz entered the owlry. It fumed out a cloud of smoke from its nostrils and addressed the Dark brothers in the voice of Professor Kazimeriz: "Due to the currect crisis in the dungeons, we are suspending your detention at this time. I fervently hope your time with Professor Lawson taught you to respect and adhere to the school rules at all times. Know that if you step toe out of line again, the consequences will be swift and dreadful." The qilin breathed out another plume of angry smoke and then disappeared, its message delivered. |
Ricco walked into the Detention check-in a little tired from the day before when he had passes out whilst talking to Professor Lawson. Noticing Professor..or Groundskeeper Masterson, he didnt really care which one it was, he walked the opposite way as by the look of it he wasnt in the best moods. Then looking further round he could see a boy who seemed to be silenced but from the look of it he was dancing but maybe that was just him. Finding a small corner that had no birdpoop on it, Ricco took a seat. ahhhhhh he thought as his legs got that weird tingling sensation that you get when you have been walking around all day and you finally get to sit down, even if it wasnt for long. |

"Ricco." Ethan acknowledged the boy, "Come with me to the Training Room please." Truebridge led the way. |

Heh. |
Ricco obediently folowed the man into the room known as the man, wondering what he had to do in this room. Notcing a brief glimpse of friendliness when the man nodded at Masterson, Ricco felt releived and continued to silently follow. |
Clark nodded again madly. He wanted to get out of here! He tapped the groundskeeper several times and nodded. His mouth opened soundlessly. As he shook his head, the air sounded like, "Uhhhhh Uhhh Uh Um". That was an odd sound to make, even for a silence teenage boy. He felt his nose close up slightly as he struggled to breathe. The pressure on his nose gave-and his face immediatley went all red and blotchy. Red welts rose up quickly on his arms and probably on his feet, (as his shoes felt like they were going to split) and his hair (which was turning....blue) stood up on end. Jumping up and down, he shook his shoes and outer cloak off, leaving him barefoot and in his jeans and red tee. "Urrrr!!!" He muttered again. His knees bent and he started to jump involuntarily, almost like a kangaroo. The dog hair. The medicine wore off. "Urrrg." |
"Yes, yes, I know..." Constantine mumbled impatiently as the student tapped his shoulder repeatedly. Constantine raised his wand, ready to utter the counter spell when he noticed that the kid seemed to be having a reaction to...something. Perhaps an allergic reaction? But...Roma was no where around here, she was safely in her hut. "Merlin," he breathed, flicking his wand and having a silver animal come out of the end. Quickly, the silver animal turned and started to run out of the room, down to the Hospital Wing where Cari was. |
"Arr." Clark said, trying to communicate through his welts, etc. "Oog Arr." What he was trying to say was Dog Hair, of course, but without beginning consonants, it was hard to figure out. He finally plucked a piece of brown hair and showed it to Masterson. Where his fingers touched the hair turned red, then purple. Flashing. |
"This is what you get for running out of my Hospital Wing, Constantine Masterson!" Caroline Avalon announced bursting into the detention check in. She spotted the child. "Oh.." She back pedalled. "Maybe not." Well the patronus hadn't been very specific. "And what happened here?" she asked, as if she hadn't said anything at all, only seconds earlier. |
"Chastise me, if you will Miss Avalon, but now is not the time." Constantine looked at the boy. "Remember when I asked you for that allergy potion early? Well, I'm guessing that it wore off and he's having a reaction to something, potentially left over dog hair." |
Clark looked at the pretty lady and nodded in agreement. He picked a piece of the hair off his robe and showed it to her. He dropped it suddenly, as his fingers were starting to grow to extreme sizes and turning purple and red. Flashing. He shrugged, trying not to freak out about his situation. (As if he could.) But inside, he was thinking, 'Whhhaaat?' |
Caroline vaguely remembered this. So much had happened in the last little while. She had been spending more time working and trying not to fly into an absolute panic, remembering things like allergy potions was getting a bit difficult "What I don't understand... well, among the things I don't understand," she began, "is how it wore off so quickly, why I was never notified of such a severe allergy, and the most confusing... how has this boy survived in a school full of animal dander and hair for this long?" She regarded the silenced boy curiously. Oh well, best give him a potion and wonder about it later. She pulled a phial of her "best allergy stuff" out of her healing bag and very carefully administered it. |
Clark had an explanation for this-if only he was un-silenced he could give his testimony. It had to do with the constellations-his only true love. (The jury was still out on Natka. They were just friends, and love as friends counts) He tipped his head back and drank down the familiar potion. His nose cleared again, and the symptoms vanished. All except the blue hair, the welts on his feet, and the jumping, that is. The last time he looked at the stars....That would have to be a few hours ago. And he had seen Pegasus..... |
"You're asking me? I'm the thirty-three year old man who runs away from you to avoid getting potions." Constantine sighed and leaned his head back against the wall as she gave the kid a potion. |
Clark laughed inside his head as he noticed Masterson admit his weaknesses.(and his age-that man was ANCIENT!) He suddenly stopped jumping and a smile broke out on his face. His welts shrunk to a normal size He hoped his blue hair would vanish soon, but at least he wasn't jumping anymore. Awkward. |
The stench alone was enough to keep Jake at bay... just for a leeeeettle while. But, in the end, he knew he had to go in there. The sooner he was in, the sooner he was out, right? Right! ... What am I supposed to do? Standing stock still, Jake began biting worriedly on his thumbnail. He'd never got one of these detentions before... and suddenly everything he'd done down on the second floor seemed stupid. |

Professor Lawson walked into the new make shift detention room and spotted the young Hufflepuff already waiting. "Good to see that you're on time Mr Upstead. Professor Truebridge, is going to be conducting your detention. I'll just wait with you until he gets here." He was about to go and lean against the wall and then decided against it, instead he stood with arms folded across his chest ignoring the boy. |

It was almost as if... nahhhhh... well, maybe... "What, don't trust me?" Jake asked, not once looking up at the man. Geez, one teeeeeny tiiiiiny breakdown and he was in detention. Perrrrrrfect. Oh, and Truebridge of course. One of the deeeecent professors here, and now Jake was going to have to revise that decision. It was... gross, up here. The substance that covered each and every surface just want to make Jake... gag. |
