Camira grinned a bit as Professor Forrester berated the Gryffindor boy, keeping her head down so it wasn't noticeable, of course. Gryffindors thought they ruled the school so it was nice to see someone put them in their place every once in a while. And Gryffie boy had walked over to the door so at least she had a bit of privacy. Er, kind of. "Thank you, Professor. I'll try to make this quick. What do I do if I have a stalker", she said seriously. She should expect it, of course, what with her being gorgeous and all. Still, it was such a hassle. Professor Forrester was quite attractive so surely he had some experience with this. |

cedric went to professor Forrester office. It was first time to went up in that tower then he finally reached his professor "Professor..umm I really sorry for what I have done on your class...I promise I will never do that again"cedric said and he want to stop tears to fell.. |
Dominic continued on his way up the floors of the castle, mentally trying to calculate how much longer these sonnets would take him. He was almost done though, he could feel it. Maybe? So he thought. Arriving at the door of the Astronomy Professor seemed to come faster than the fifth year anticipated. He knocked twice and drew a deep breath. He could do this. |
Eddie approached his office door, slightly giddy at that thought, but trying to conceal it. He had an office! He got to stay there! Away from people! Approaching it, he spied a crying child, how annoying, and the Hufflepuff prefect. He walked around the crying student, and looked down at the prefect. He waited a moment, then said, "Yeeeeesssss?" and cut it off shortly. He wasn't in some muggle comedy show. Oops. |
Oh shrakes!! Professor Forrester wasn't even in his office!! Eying the young looking professor as he came from around the bend and approach his office, Dom noticed the rather gleeful mood he was in. Why? Oh right. Two words: Professor Lupa. What was up with the exaggerated speak too? And the quite informal greeting was totally NOT Professor-like at all. Maybe it was just him, but since the departure of Professor Rae, the Professors at Hogwarts definitely seemed to be a lot more relaxed and informal. Or maybe it had nothing to do with Rae at all and it was just the return of the ghosts? Yes, that was enough to make anyone loopy. "Professor," the fifth year greeted, maintaining his dignity with what little he had left. "If you don't mind, then I would care to have to a brief word . . . alone." His golden eyes glanced nonchalantly at the others hoping they wouldn't mind waiting just a bit longer. |

"Of course, of course! Why wouldn't I give a student of such high standing of yourself this privilege?" Perhaps he sounded just a wee-bit sarcastic, but that's how adults acted, right? Ed was sincere, however, as he ushered the other students aside and opened the door for Dom to enter then closed the door in the faces of the other students waiting outside. Prefects had priority, right? They were to help keep the houses in order. Yes. Perfectly alright. A very responsible and grown up thing to do. Ed tilted his fedora just so so he and Dom could have eye contact. "What brings the pleasure of your company, young man?" he asked, hoping Dom would NOT bring up Lupa. The crazy girl who left him for.....what? To wander aimlessly alone? pah, as if anyone would want someone who looked as old as she did. Who would want a girl anyway? Girls were boring. Right. Focus on the prefect in front of him. Foooooocusssssssssssssss........ |
Blinking at the sarcasm in the Astronomy professor's voice, Dominic was now definitely certain that something was up with the Professors this term. All of them. Maybe it was something in the pumpkin juice, but whatever it was, the loopiness was going to drive him insane if he didn't figure out the cause of it soon. Entering the office after Forrester, a smile spread across his face with how accommodating the man was in closing the door after him. Yes, he knew there was a reason he liked him. "Well Professor, please do not be alarmed by this topic," Dom paused, as he fiddled with the edge of his pocket for a moment. "But I wish to share with you a sonnet that I wrote at the start of this term for all the staff. Unfortunately not personalized, but just generalized directed at each of you professors ... um, are you alright?" Dom's eyes widened at seeing Forrester's own eyes appear unfocused and almost glazed over. Lupa. Blame the females, always. |

Eddie blinked several times, "Am I alright, of course I'm alright. I'm always alright!" he said as he threw his hat in the air and caught it, placing it back on his head. He looked around for a moment for a bullwhip he thought he had somewhere, but decided that there were more important things to discuss here. Yes. Important. And, being a responsible adult, he was focused on important things. Like this....what was it? "A sonnet, you said?" he asked, confused. "Really? Like, the muggle playwrite Shakespeare? Awe - Very well," he caught himself, "Let's hear it." He placed his full attention on Dom. Focused. |

"Well, not really as good as Shakespeare," Dominic replied sheepishly, pulling the parchment from his pocket. "But well, here goes . . . When disgraced in the eyes of Kaz And beneath my bravery I weep, With deaf ears and my tearless cries, And looking up to the dias, curse my sleep; To wish upon me one more chance, Featuring all whom make least, Desire in us all to dance, With that let us contend with deist Yet these thoughts, I find myself despising, How I think with glee and then to you, Like climbing these endless stairs and always arising, But from the clouds to the grounds, and then the loo For no matter how much pride or wealth I bring, That I scorn to be as half as worthy as you kings." Once he was finished, Dominic waited again to see what this professor would say in regards to his reading. |

"I did not know you were watching us so," even more reason for him to be grown-up here, "and it serves as a reminder that we are an example to you all. I thank you." He also got a great idea to help keep him up as an example. It would work too. He was sure of it. Where was that bullwhip? Or his wand, he needed his wand for his solar system. "You know, you could start now. You're a prefect, a role model. Why not help your fellow students? I'm sure they would love to have a role model like you." He encouraged the....lad? Just then an owl dropped a class worth of homework on his head. He made a funny face, "and I must get back to work," he said as he jumped off his desk and walked around behind and sat in his comfy chair. Yes, nice and comfy. |
Another one who thought he had an apt for this sonnet writing thing. Perhaps he should make a career out of it? Or in his next piece for the quill make it into a sonnet? Unlikely but possible ... "Thank you," Dominic accepted the compliment gratefully, nodding his head in acknowledgment. "I guess I have my way with words every now and then." Or more often that not; especially when on paper as opposed to verbally communicating them. Of course he was watching them; they were professors and sat at the head of the Great Hall. Who didn't watch them was the real question of order? An innocent twitch played at the corners of his lips, but then his whole body froze over at the next comment. Love to have a role model like you. Those words really struck a cord and Dominic, not the first time, did not have any idea what to say over that. But thankfully he was saved by the owl. "Maybe, yes I could do that." He would try as trying never hurt anyone, right? Of course not. "But well good luck with that work and if you ever wanted any assistance in the laboratory, then I would be happy to oblige." Hopefully not, but never hurt to ask, right? "though I must be off to speak with one more professor on this floor, so I'll be seeing you later. Bye and thank you again." Giving one last meaningful glance towards the Professor, Dominic then skipped out of the office and off towards the other side of the castle on this floor. |
