Hayley knocked on the door....but there was really no time! She burst into the room, "I'm really really sorry for being rude, Professor, but there's an EMERGENCY!" she cried, pointing to her wet robes, "The dungeons are filling with WATER! It's all over the common room and dormitories and such! Help?" Hayley didn't wait for a response, she figured Professor Forester would come if his house was in trouble, so Hayley just ran right back out.

Knocking on the door with a rap-a-tat-tat sound, Steven stood silently as he waited. He had nothing truly important to talk to Professor Forrester about... He just wanted to make sure that his Head of House was remembering to breath. It wouldn't do for his house to loose their Head, as well as their normal House surroundings.

"Come in," Forrester called to the phantom knocker. He was just about to hunt down Kazi to see if the owls had been sent out on replacements for the Slytherin students, but that could wait a bit longer. Kazi was an older man, afterall, and he had a lot on his plate currently.

Being called into the office, Steven pushed the door open with one hand and peeked around it with a smile. "Hi Sir." He said in greeting as he stepped fully into the office. He looked around the room and smiled. It was nice in here. Silently, he wondered why he hadn't come up here more often. Then he remembered...

The Stairs.

He moved to stand opposite the Professor, his hands flitting over the wood of the chair for visitors. "I was just wondering if you were okay, Sir." He told the brunette-haired man that was waiting for him to state his business.

Did he look THAT bad? Oh Merlin, he needed to get some sleep. "I'm doing okay, I was just about to check on the emergency supplies. How are you holding up?" He needed to check in on them too. Drat. Stupid emergencies, they added so much, and didn't give anyone enough time to catch up, never mind break ahead.

Steven laughed. "I didn't mean it in a bad way... Simply, if I remember correctly emergencies bring the Leaders to their knee's." He made a face, wondering if that was insulting or not. "I'm fine. My brother had bought a second set of books for me.... he worries too much."

With a worried face, he looked at his Head of House again. "Is there anything you need me to do? I'd love to be able to help--although I'm not sure where I could help." He said with a small shrug.

Forrester gave some consideration to the boys words. "As far as I know, you don't need to worry about helping us. We're doing what we can, and there's no need for you to worry about helping us on our end. If you really want to help, you can ask your prefects if there's something they would like help with on the student front. I'm sure borrowing your extra books would help some of those who have yet to get their spares. Anything else, talk to Clifford or Evangeline."

Steven nodded. "I have a few subjects where I know have two copies. I am more than happy to share them Sir." He gave the man a nod and a smile. "Of course. I will attempt to find them later to offer my services." He gave his Head of House another smile.

"Just thought I would come and make sure you were doing okay Sir... We wouldn't want to loose you as well as our Common Room." He gave the man another laugh and then looked towards the door. "Well, I will leave you to it Sir. I am here if you need me." He waited to be excused.

Forrester nodded, "Thank you for asking, Steven. Be sure to check in with them, I'm sure they'll have a bit more knowledge on the student front." He gave a chuckle, "Or at least what the students are more interested in. As professors, we're going to focus on clothing and books, and other necessaries." He dismissed him.

Steven nodded. "I will see you around Sir." With a smile, he was out the door and away to find his best friend. He really needed to talk to her.

Scarlett hoped that she had heard it right about Prof telling her to meet him.She went ahead and knocked the door,awaiting a reply...

Forrester came to the door right behind the FIRST stupid Ravenclaw girl. He opened the door, and walked in, not bothering to wait to see if she knew enough to enter. If she didn't and, therefore, did not enter, then she did NOT deserve to be placed in a house known for intelligence. He took a seat behind his desk and awaited the girl's plea.

Scarlett looked up at the professor's face.Her heart was leaping inside.
What if the professor thought her to be someone who was silly enough not to be sorted into the Ravenclaw house?
"I'm sorry professor",said Scarlett.She thought that maybe it was better to say a sorry first and be humble than wish him a good morning.
"Good morning,professor!I'm so very sorry about what I did.I was so totally out of my mind",she said in a faint voice.She didn't want to cry anymore.She knew that tears mean nothing to Slyths.Again,she doubted if Professor had heard her voice at all.
"I'm sorry professor.Please forgive me.But I didn't do it intentionally.It happened by mistake.Actually,I.....I....."
She covered her face with her hands and broke into wails.Her face had turned red.If the professor had anything called a heart,he could never be rude to her anymore.She was feeling awful.Nobody would understand what she was going through if the same thing hadn't happened to them.

"It was a mistake" he repeated in a tone that made it sound like a feeble excuse. "There is nothing but SLYTHERINS in the observatory, it is common knowledge that their Common Room had been flooded, and common knowledge that they were temporarily placed in the observatory so they would have a place to gather amongst themselves, and you felt you could waltz in? You sound count yourself lucky that you were not hexed! Would you like it if one of the Slytherins wandered into your common room? Sat on YOUR bed? I would think not! I had thought Ravenclaws were intelligent, that is what your house is known for, yes? You, however, made a 'mistake' in walking into a pit of Slytherins! You, sit down, and we will wait for your housemate."

Merlin help them if the other girl opted to NOT show up.

"yes,I know Professor,it was a huge mistake and I'm really sorry.You see professor,the thing is that I used to be a regular at the observatory.And I loved it there.",Scarlett replied in the same guilty tone."But",she added,"I was not really thinking anything".She sniffed."I lost my mother.But I see her in the brightest star in the sky."I love her sooooo much",and she broke into wails.
After a minute or two,she continued,"My father stays away.He has probably forgotten that he has a teenage daughter to parent.He never loved me.He loved my sister more.She too passed away with my mother.I am the luckless member left back.I'm in Hogwarts because I have no other place to stay.Not many do get what it is like not to have a REAL guardian.",she said,wiping her tears.
"so,I really forgot which direction I was walking when I went into the observatory.I'm sorry Professor.But I was just attracted by my mother's star and carried away by my emotions."

She nervously walk towards the office, she had received a note from the professor to come to his office, she knocks on the door.

What a stupid girl. Didn't he just tell her to sit and WAIT. Was that cause to believe he had wanted her to talk more? Or was she one of those who wanted nothing more than to hear her own voice.

"Come in, " he called in a terse voice. Two spoiled stupid Ravenclaws. Oh goody.

Victoria nervously walked in, she didn't mean walking into the observatory when it was now the slytherin common room.

Forrester glared at the other Ravenclaw. "What's the meaning of this? It is common knowledge that the Slytherins were placed in the observatory because the lake flooded out the dungeons. Are you just stupid, or do you really feel as though you can go anywhere in the school because you deem so?"

She looked the professor in the eye and say "Professor, I didn't mean to walk into the observatory. I have a big love for astronomy specially when I am related to Galileo".

Professor looked cruel.Scarlett was so not ready to face so much of a mess.He was speaking and she was replying.It wasn't her fault if he didn't have points to speak about.She decided to remain quiet then onwards.

Victoria looked round at the other ravenclaw girl and nodded to show it might be ok.

Scarlett was a bit relieved to see that someone was there was someone else in the room and that she didn't have to bear the punishment alone!

She waited to be shouted at, she could get a family tree showing that she is related to Galileo.
