Allie watched Plymouth and Anna dance. She had to admit doing the jitterbug did look like a ton of fun, but she wasn't much of a dancer. She could barely walk without falling never mind do all that step step side rock step stuff they were doing. So she was just happy watching for now thank you very much.

Christine looked around at the other people sitting down to see if anyone would jump up to dance. She started to feel nervous, as she always did around people she didn't know. Her nerves were the reason she didnt know that many people at Hogwarts. Come on Christine, just get up and dance she told herself over and over again. Finally, after taking a deep breath and her knees shaking, she stood up. I'll dance with you next she tried to say with confidence, but she could hear the nerves in her own voice.

Lucy turned to look at Chris. "Hey Chris. I haven't seen you till now." She said smiling. "I'm not much of dancer. I normally trip over my own feet. Or step on somebody's." She said laughing. "Anna and Plym are pretty good." She said looking at the two.

Satine giggled and jumped up again, "Anyone else want to jitterbug?"...she said with a smile, "Do you have Louie, Louie or Land of a 1000 Dances?" she asked as she looked around for a dancing partner.

Now that Dagobert had finished dancing with Dem, his hands were free and he was still in the mood to dance.
'Sure, I'd like to dance with you,' he said walking up to the girl with the purple hair, 'The name's Dagobert but you can call me Dag.'

Satine grabbed his hand and introduced herself with a smile, "I'm Satine...nice to meet you!" she just barely got her words out before Dag had her jitterbugging all over the classroom...

Chris smiled back. "Yeah I know it's been awhile." He told Lucy and nodded. "Same with me. I stink at dancing. I can't dance for anything." He told her and chuckled slightly. "I know they are good. I didn't even know either of them could dance." He said and shrugged, but look back at the two.

Beaming from ear to ear, Anna returned Plymouth's hug. "Thanks," she whispered. "Now run off and find some other lucky girl." Anna released Plym from the hug, then nodded at his suggestion. "Of course. You go dance, dance, dance, and I'll look for another partner." Anna giggled at Plym addressing the entire class, asking anyone and everyone for a dance. Maybe she should try the same...

"Now I need a new partner!" she said, glancing around the room to see if any of the boys still needed someone to dance with.

Miranda still kept flailing her arms and hopping around like it was the right way to dance. She didn't care if she was doing it all wrong, all that mattered was the way she felt as the music was heard throughout the classroom.

"Laalalallaaaaa..." Hop hop, step, hop hop flail

'Likewise,' he said already feeling the beat take over him. It was like some mysterious force had possessed his feet. He would not be surprised if the professor had charmed the music; it was that contagious. He held on to her hands tightly and stuck his tongue out in concentration as he tried to get the moves right though after a while, it seemed to come to him naturally. This girl seemed to be more light on her feet then Dem was but it was probably because he had been a bit more nervous when he was dancing with her.
'You seem to be a natural,' he said while he spun her around faster then he intended to, 'Woops! I hope I"m not making you too dizzy.'

Jack looked around. There weren't many other boys around, and it was only a matter of time before they were all partnered up and he'd need someone too. Gulp. He fearfully raised his hand and stood up. "I'll be your partner Anna," he said, speaking almost so softly it wouldn't surprise him if she didn't hear him.

Oh well, now or never, right?

"O you're doing just fine..." she gasped as in between twirls..."I took dance in the Muggle world for eight years before coming here...so I don't know about being a natural, just well trained..." she finished with a smile.

As Anna waited on a partner, she danced around and around in circles all by herself. She'd already gotten into the beat and couldn't really stop herself now. I'll be your partner, Anna. Anna stopped twirling and looked around the room, wondering who'd spoken up and agreed to be her partner. "Oh, Jack Fritzera! Come on Down!" she exclaimed, reaching out her hand and pulling him from his seat. Anna had to admit that she was a bit proud of Jack. He was coming out of his shell quite nicely.

"Okay, so you'll need to put your arms on my shoulders," she said, grabbing his arms and placing them in the correct spot. "Alright, so you begin with the left foot, and I'll begin with the right foot. Then we start moving in a side, side, rock step...side, side, rock step direction. When you think you're ready, you can twirl me around!"

'Oh really, what kind of dance did you learn?'' he asked, feet still moving on their own accord. Dragobert hoped it was not something boring like ballet. He did not know how he could feign interest in that. He glanced around the class room and chuckled at how some of his class mates were getting along. Particularly one girl who seemed to be dancing to the beat of her own drum.
At least she looks like she's having fun, he thought to himself while watching her.
Some people, though, looked like the very idea of dancing was frightening.
'Don't you think some of these people should loosen up and join the fun?' he asked his partner.

She smiled, "Well, mainly jazz and hip-hop...are you familiar with these types of Muggle music and dance?" she asked...she sure hoped so because it might be hard to explain the differences in the music genres in such little time.....

Jack blinked in shock as Anna immediately grabbed his hands and put them on her shoulders. This was the closest he had been to a girl EVER, and he was quite certain it was only a matter of time before he messed up this dance horribly.

"Erm, right...side side rock step," he said. Wait, which foot did he start with again? Right? NO, no, ANNA was right. He was left. Right? Yes, that was it. He went with his left foot and followed her lead, doing the steps. Side, side, rock step... "Oh, sorry Anna!" he exclaimed. He had just stepped on her foot pretty hard. He blushed. "I've erm--what's that saying? Oh yeah! I've got two left feet," he muttered, looking at the floor as he spoke.

WHY had he offered to do this again?

Reese looked up at the person that had said her name. Emiliano? Oh, no. She didn't want to dance. No. No. No. No. NO. But, she honestly didn't want to say no to Em. Sighing a little bit, she pushed herself off the seat and looked back at Em. One little dance wouldn't hurt, right? "Okay," she said, grabbing his hair and pulling him to the front of the class where everyone was dancing.

Hmmm now everyone was dancing. Maybe she should find a partner too? After all, how hard could it actually be? And she wasn't that clumsy right? On second thought maybe she was, but she still kinda wanted to try it. She looked around, but she couldn't see anyone free. OK new plan. Just sit here and not embarrass yourself. Yes. That plan worked for her.

'Hm? Oh yeah,' Dagobert said coming back to earth, 'My dad's a muggle and I was pretty much raised as a muggle my whole life. For some reason, my magical ability kicked in later than most so for a while, I was scared I was going to be a squib!'
He felt his feet slow down a bit as they became tired though the music kept him going.
No, he thought to himself, must fight music or deal with cramps the next day.
'Hey, do you mind if we rest for a bit?' he asked Satine, 'my feet are getting a bit sore.

Dani stood up and walked over to lean against the wall. She liked to dance but she didn't know anybody and she wasn't going to ask a random stranger to dance. Besides, it looked like all of the guys were taken. Leaning her head back she closed her eyes and tapped her feet to the beat.

Ouch...not the hair! Emiliano although, smiled wide to Reese as she accepted dancing with him. "Ready?" He asked, taking her waist with his right hand and then the other hand tightly to hers. "Just like you dance at parties...get the rhythm...then start tapping your foot to at least imagine the way you would dance to the song." Advice from grandma...quite useful.

She smiled, "O that would be just fine," she stopped and did a little curtsy..."Thanks for the dance. I had a blast....You are very good!" she winked at him..." it was also very nice to meet you!" she turned and danced back to her seat.

Antonio popped in for a few minutes and saw that everything was going well. Then, he heard Christian's request. "Sure, that would be great, my records are kind of scratchy, thank you," he said. "Here's the karaoke machine, that might help you, too. Would anyone else like to give it a try?"

"Wanna dance? I don't think we'll do any harm to each other." Lucy asked. "Or you could go up and sing!" She said as Professor Truebridge brought the karaoke machine out.
